I have to make a choice. They actually gave me a choice. You want to live with mom or dad. And I chose dad because that was home. Even though we didn't have running water and it was wood burning stove and those kinds of things. Like you said, it was cold, but it was dad and it was home. And so I stayed. Now, I didn't. I couldn't have known that would give me six precious years growing up with a dad, that I had all this one on one exclusive time that I never would have had. Then I had the privilege of joining my mom and having one on one time with a mom. Right? And if you look back on that, you'd say one of two things. Oh, that poor boy had to grow up in a situation of divorce. Or you could say, how many of us get exclusive one on one time with a parent for that kind of period of time. Such quality time that I had with both my dad and then later in life with my mom. It was a blessing in hindsight.
