Short YouTube interview clip in which a child asks Chris Hipkins how to become Prime Minister. Hipkins advises working hard, being a good person, identifying what changes you want to make in the world, and notes that while anyone can become Prime Minister only a few do, but you can still make a difference without holding that office.
What does a kid need to do to become the Prime Minister?
Work hard. Make sure that you being a good person. So figure out what you think is important in the world. What are the things that really excite you? What's the change that you want to see in the world? And you know, anyone can become Prime Minister, but only a few people ever do. But if you know what the changes that you want to make in the world, if you get to be Prime Minister, you'll be very lucky. If you don't, you can still make a huge difference though, if you know what it is that you want to see changed. Great advice.
