Part of the purpose of the referendum on the treaty principles is that it actually legitimises ordinary people having a say. Because I think a lot of people have felt really betrayed in the last few years in particular. But this is not just the last labor government. This is a long time. A lot of people feel betrayed that there's almost this kind of special area that they're not allowed into, even though it affects them, because it influences every part of the government. Now, I liken it to a time when, instead of governments, the society was largely ruled by churches, and the priests would say, look, we're going to speak Latin. We've got these sacred scriptures that you're not allowed to as a Northerner. You've been fighting this your whole life. Yeah, exactly.
