Don’t make this fatal error! Are you neglecting your team by only focusing on tasks?

Understanding the difference between task and relationship in that often as leaders, we get so stuck in what we've got to achieve that we just become so task oriented and we forget the relational aspect of the people we work with. And so again, that's really shifted my thinking around how when I bring my group together, how we engage, you know, like, got a whole lot of people that are, you know, box tickers and they're just so deserved to get all that task driven. So task driven. But it's like, actually, how are we going? You know, we're doing this through people and with people, right? Yeah, yeah. And how are we getting on? How are we feeling things? What's tomorrow looking like? You know, just bringing it back to the people versus the process, I think has been amazing learning. And you see the value in that, because others see that a lot more than they see all the boxes ticked, you know what I mean? Like, and they see the influence of that a lot more and they feel it a lot more. And the trust goes, grows, and it grows and it grows.
