A short transcript excerpt from a YouTube episode featuring productivity expert David Allen in conversation with James Laughlin. They discuss leadership responsibility, the role of the mind in work, and frustrations about pointless meetings, with Allen offering pithy aphorisms about leadership and mental discipline.

That struck my interest. I thought we need to talk about this. My God, we have so many pointless, stupid meetings. I don't know why I go to them.

You're challenging me here, David, I like this.
