A short excerpt from a YouTube video ("REVEALING the WINNING Combo!!!" by James Laughlin) where Speaker A argues that high performance does not require fear-driven edges and can coexist with softer skills like love, happiness, and fulfillment—creating a "winning combination" when both are present.
We had an idea that high performance could only be experienced through, you know, an edge that is driven a lot of the time by fear, you know, and we never thought that success, high performance could coexist with what some may suggest are softer skills. But really, I think it's connecting into something that we all relate to. And like I said at the beginning of the conversation, you know, we all want to experience more love, and we all want to experience greater sense of happiness and fulfillment. And so when you can meet all those things and still perform at a high level, then you've got to win combination.
