This is a YouTube video titled "SANDY YAWN : Gratitude goes a long way" created on October 6, 2023, featuring Sandy Yawn discussing the importance of gratitude, humility, and openness to suggestions in leadership.
I think that gratitude goes a long way as well. When you start getting like expectant and you're ego driven and look at me and this is what I've accomplished, that's when you fail, right? That's failure to me. When you stay humble and you stay in that gratitude and you remain teachable and you're open to hearing others opinions and ideas, not meaning that you have to take them to implement it. I always say to my crew, suggestions, right? I want to know suggestions. And then I thank them and then ultimately I decide. And being that it's not dismissing them, but it's, it's like infusing using their ideas in.
