I stopped drinking very suddenly March 2010 and I decided then I was going to just take a 30 day break from alcohol and see what would happen. And in 30 days I lost 20 pounds. I slept better, I felt better and then I thought I'll just keep on going. So I went to three months. I got to three months and I had the Clarion focus to go and audition to become a television anchor at arguably the most iconic sports television news show in the world and that's called SportsCenter on ESPN and I got the job and I moved out to Bristol, Connecticut which is about two hours outside of New York City and I hosted SportsCenter on ESPN for two years with zero television experience. I had zero. Now I was lucky enough that I had a friend who introduced me to a producer but I credit the clarity and the focus and the energy and the drive and the positivity that I had from being at that point only a few months alcohol free.
