A short spoken monologue (from a YouTube video by James Laughlin) arguing that responding to problems with anger and conflict creates a perpetual cycle of fighting and division. The speaker warns this fosters an 'us vs them' mindset (object vs subject) and leaves humanity "trapped" in anger, resistance, and conflict.

If we continue to hate or we continue to try and resolve our problems as a species with more anger and more conflict, we're going to find ourselves in a perpetual cycle of more of the same. And all it leads to is this idea that there's us and them, that there's object and subject. And in that space, we're going to find ourselves trapped, like I said, in this perpetual cycle of fighting, of conflict, of anger, of resistance.
