My car was hit head on by a drunk driver at 112 kilometers per hour. I broke 11 bones. I was found dead at the scene. It took them six minutes without. I had no heartbeat and they had to revive me. I was in a coma for six days. And when I came out of the coma, the doctor said I would never walk again. And I made a decision that if I never walk again, and the doctors are right, since I can't, I won't be able to change my circumstances. That is what it is. I will be the happiest, most grateful person that anyone has ever seen in a wheelchair. Until I'm proven that that's my only option. I'm not accepting that as my fate. I am meditating, praying, visualizing that I'm going to walk again. Three weeks after the crash, doctors come in and give me the update that, hey, the X rays are showing, you know, they couldn't explain it, which shows the power of me. It's the power of the mind, body connection and our ability to heal ourselves. So seven weeks after the date of the crash, I went home and I went home with a four prong cane, no wheelchair.
