If you can't change the man, change the man. Sir Steve Hanson, former head coach of the All Black, sat with me at one of my leadership events last year and shared that exact quote. And digging deeper and asking what that meant was, look, you know, if you've got a high performance team, you're leading a team of individuals. Well, look, it's important that if somebody's not stepping up and they're not willing to change, then you've got to change that person. You've got to help them with an exit strategy. Not everybody belongs on your bus if they're not willing to do the work on themselves. You can't change the man. Change, change the man.
