Most readers highlight passages but never act on them. The fix: write actionable insights as concrete commitments in a separate document you review regularly, like "I'm committed to doing this strategy on page 84 to get more clients." Notes inside the book get forgotten.

How many of us have read a book and implemented None. Little to none. Right? I've done it. You read it. You're like, ooh, that's good. Underline, dog ear. And then you keep reading. You're like, oh, that's. I'm going to do that. Underline. Right? So what I did is I took, as I read something that I identified. Ooh, I need to remember that or I need to do that. I opened up a Microsoft Word document. This was my first set of affirmations. It wasn't like, I'm a money magnet and I'm wealthy and I'm. No, it was. I'm committed to doing this Strategy on page 84, right. To get more clients. So my affirmations, and this is how I want people to think about them, they're simply reminders of anything that you want to integrate into your thinking or into your behavior. But if you leave them inside of a book on page 142 and you keep reading, you'll never do it.
