Suresh Madhavan owned seven cars until he realized the cost and hassle weren't worth it. He cut down to one in a month, saving money his accountant calculated and gaining mental relief from ditching constant maintenance, registrations, and car washes.
At one point I had like 7 cars. It was out of control. In the last 30 days, I went down to 1. My accountant was like, "You're gonna be saving X amount a year. We're gonna reinvest that." And I wasn't even thinking about that. Listen, I don't want to have to deal with 7 trips of the guy who washes my cars at my house. 7 oil changes. 7 registrations coming in the mail. Life is so much simpler. Just from the mental stress, I feel so much better now. It's more freeing.
