Jason Yerrington argues that waiting to feel ready is a trap. The core concept of a modern warrior is assessing your willingness to risk failure and take the first step despite uncertainty, because no one is ever truly 100% ready.
What's a holistic kind of piece of advice you'd like to leave with people?
The core concept of a modern warrior. In this day and age, so many people believe that they have to be ready before they do something, right? Because whatever you're going to start, whether it's a new health or a new gym deal or, you know, something, there's got to be an understanding that it's not going to go great, right? So are you willing to go through that? You know, like, don't wait until you're ready because it's going to take forever. And really the question is, how willing are you to fail? Are you willing to put it all on the line? Are you willing to risk what it is? Whatever people are, are like on the precipice of is really getting to the point where they're just willing to just take that first step.
Yeah, no, no, you're never ready. You're never ready for anything.
It's true.
Never ready for any new venture. You're never ready for any new thing to try. You're never 100% ready for anything.
