A left-leaning and right-leaning speaker find common ground: neither liked Biden. Speaker B says no one actually wanted him as the Democratic candidate against Trump, while Speaker A questions whether Biden was really in charge or if the deep state was calling the shots.
I'm curious. So you're more on the left side. I'm more on the right side. Did you actually like Joe Biden?
No. Oh, I don't know anyone that actually liked him. No, I don't know anyone. Yeah. And I do get tired of like some of my more right-leaning friends are like, you guys were defending Joe Biden. I was horrified when Joe Biden was the candidate to initially run against Trump. I was like, are you kidding me?
And on that notion though, like, if you don't believe the deep state is real, you believe that that guy was actually doing things and in charge and making decisions?
No. And I I didn't know. I got to say, like, there were a few times because, like, no one could have more disdain for Trump than I do. But like, there were a few times during the debate where I was just like, the point where, like, Trump looks at him and says, like, I don't think that guy knows what he's talking about. I felt that. I'm like, okay, we are all Donald Trump right now because I'm feeling the same thing. So no, I never liked Biden. Did I think he was dangerous for the country? No. I mean, I thought he was an ineffective leader. I thought he was senile. I thought he should have stepped down way before the disastrous debate.
