It's becoming easier and easier to use the world affairs, socio-economic problems, political problems, things going on in our society and community. It's becoming easier to use these as excuses to just lay down the baton and give up. Be a victim to circumstances. You get the option, you get to say, "Hey, things are too hard because of this, this, and that, and I can't succeed or I can't do what I want because of these circumstances." Or you could say, "Screw that. I'm gonna focus on myself. I'm gonna get up early. I'm going to meditate. I'm going to work out." and I'm not gonna let those circumstances overcrowd my mind. With these times, it's not gonna get easier. There's gonna be more and more bullshit out there. You gotta get into a high-energy state. You have to work on yourself. You have to make your inner world your sanctuary, and that's the only way to do it.
