How do you find your purpose?

Speaker A struggles to find purpose under societal pressure. Speaker B says find someone you trust, give them permission to be honest with you, and listen. Many mentors find their own fulfillment in coaching the next generation.
So how do you figure out what it is you love when you have all these things that are telling you, oh, my life would be better if I was traveling like this guy, if I had the car that this guy have? How do you figure out what it is that you love when there's so much around you that could be giving you a facade?
Find someone that you can have a conversation with, someone that you give permission to be honest with you. Yeah, you have to give them permission to be honest. Doesn't even have to be a friend. It could be a complete stranger, somebody that you admire in the industry that you like, or whatever it is that you like. And you go to them and have a conversation and say, I'd like for you to help coach me or me or have a conversation with me.
Yeah.
You have to give them permission to be honest with you.
Yeah, 100%.
Because if they're not and they're holding back, then you're never going to really find honest feedback. Yeah. Because you'll get offended or you won't call them to go for the next session. And I will tell you, there are a lot of people out there like myself that want to provide coaching and mentoring just because we get rewards out of it. I mean, I did it throughout my career. I'm still doing it now. It brings us joy to help build that future generation.
Oh, yeah.
