China, Russia, North Korea, and Iran have spent 25 years stealing U.S. intellectual property and feeding it to their own companies. Huawei's rise came directly from stolen IP. Trillions of dollars have left the American economy this way, while U.S. intelligence agencies focus on national security rather than industrial advantage.
Trillions of dollars are being sucked out of our country and moving over to China to help their industry. And they've been doing it for 25 years. And not just China, but Russia, North Korea, Iran. In our system, what CIA and NSA does is they go out and steal secrets from countries to help us understand their intentions, to help us secure our country. And our adversaries, they do that as well. But they also say, you know what, our objective is actually to help our domestic sector. And we're going to break into foreign competitors of our domestic companies. We're going to steal priceless customer data, steal their source code. Car designs, and we're gonna give it wholesale to our national champions to make them compete. And this is part of the reason why you now have these amazing companies out of China like Huawei and others that are literally leaders in their respective fields. Most of these cases, it was built on stolen IP that was given to them by their government to the detriment of American companies.
