A content creator made 270 videos that flopped, averaging 10,000 views each. The 271st, a cheap travel guide to Thailand, hit 30 million views and grew their followers from 100,000 to 300,000 in one day. What looked like overnight success was years of work before one video broke through.
When did things become real for you? Everybody's much happier when they work for themselves. And so I didn't want a job. I wanted to travel the world. So I just filmed my travels. For the first 270 videos, it was 10,000 views per video. They all failed. And then on day 271, I made a video in Thailand about how cheap Thailand is and everybody should visit it. And that video got 30 million views. You go from averaging 10,000 views to 30 million views. The 100,000 followers, it became 300,000 followers in one day. And everything else just became better and easier.
