Healthcare system, how is it that it can play out to cost millions of dollars for someone when they get sick?
The way that we've set things up in America goes all the way back to the 1940s. We had a chance to do something in this country that Canada did and we didn't. So when you go back all the way to World War II and you think about the legislation that was passed, we basically started putting caps on how much we could pay employees and benefits began to spur because that was like, well, how do you lure in better employees? You use benefits to do so. And that was the beginning of health insurance. And so you play that all the way through though to today and 62% of personal bankruptcies in the United States are caused by healthcare-induced debt.
