Neville Goddard reads the Bible as psychology, not history: biblical characters are parts of your mind. His core teaching is the rule of secrecy. Tell no one what you're manifesting, because other people's doubts will sabotage your intention.

Book called The Neville Collection kind of interprets the Bible not as a drama with characters doing actual things, but more as a depiction of the internal mind, and characters are parts of it. First part of the collection is talking about manifesting things, creating things, getting what you want in life. And the first rule is the rule of secrecy, which is when you want something, you don't tell anyone about it, because when you tell people about it, they project their fears onto you. So it never serves you to tell people about the things you're doing unless you're genuinely on the fence about doing it or not. But if you know you want to do it, keeping it to yourself is always the right answer. But your ego wants share it because your ego wants to be like, "I'm so excited about this, get me more excited about it." But it doesn't happen that way.
