A traveler who's visited over 100 countries argues that America stands out for letting people openly display success. In wealthy London neighborhoods, rich people drive modest cars. In Miami, they drive Cybertrucks and Lamborghinis.
What I learned about humans from visiting more than 100 countries now is that they are so shockingly boring. Yemeni and an Israeli and an American and a North Korean, they all want the same things. They all have the same problems, same jealousy, same fear, same excitement.
Were there any cultures though that you're like, those guys got it figured out? American culture is amazing.
One of the very few cultures that pushes you to become different. In the richest area in London, the buildings look nice, but the average person's car is poor. Then I landed in Miami and I see this person with a Cybertruck, this person with a Lamborghini. The wealth in America is Unbelievable.
