Coach Jay teaches his 5 C's system: Clarity, Calibration, Confidence, Competence, and Consistency. He argues most people fail because they focus on what they don't want instead of defining what they do. The subconscious runs 98% of your mind on feeling, not logic, so you must reprogram it through visualization, journaling, and tapping to become the person who gets results.

Good, what's good, what's good? How y'all doing, man? Welcome to the live, welcome to the live. Let's get that mirror up for y'all. How y'all doing, man? Happy Monday. I had to sit here and think about today. Happy Monday. All the days starting to look a lot alike. Teaching, working, building, developing. All the days starting to look real similar. But yo, you know you could be doing anything you desire. We're gonna be exposing the 5 secrets to having them all. The 5 secrets to having it all. You can have the money, you can have the love life, you can have the body, you can have it all. You don't gotta pick and choose. Well, actually, you do gotta pick and choose. You gotta get clear about what you want. The reason a lot of people never get to have it all is because they don't never define it. They don't never get clear about what it is. You could be doing have anything you desire, but you got to get clear about what you want. You can't get what you want until you know what you want. Most people don't know what they want. That's why they don't get it. Most people know what they don't want, but they don't know what they would rather have. So you got to get in the habit because let's talk about how life works. What happens is you go through life is. That's you. That's you, okay? So as you go through life, you're gonna notice things that you don't like. And most people do. Let's flip this around so y'all can actually see. What most people do when they notice things they don't like is they keep focusing on the things that they don't like. They go, I don't like my job. They don't pay me enough, they overwork me, they don't listen to me, I've been here for 5 years, I haven't been promoted, there's no room for growth in this company, everybody's out to get me, they want me to work holidays, they want me to work my birthday, there's no vacation time, I don't like this job, I can't stand this job, I don't like this job. But shifts start to happen when you start to ask what we call the magic question. The magic question is, what would I rather have? When you start to ask this question about what would I rather have, people are like, I'd rather have freedom, rather have more flexibility in my schedule, rather have more money, rather have more vacation time, I'd rather have paid sick days, I'd rather have better insurance. As you start to put your attention over here, it starts to change the way you feel. Let me show you something. When you change the way you feel, you ain't got no choice but to think different. And when you change the way you feel and you change the way you think, you'll act different on accident. You don't directly change the way you act. The secret to changing the way you act is changing the way you feel. Because your feeling And you're thinking, working a loop. How you feel controls how you think, that controls how you feel, that controls how you think, and it controls how you feel, it controls how you think. And eventually this spits out an action or behavior, and the result follows that behavior. You could be doing half anything that you desire, but the first thing you got to do is You got to figure out what you want. You got to figure out what you want, and then you just got to start thinking about it. You just got to start thinking about it. When you go over here and start thinking about what you don't want, you don't try. You don't got to try to get nervous. You don't got to try to get anxious. You don't got to try to get anxiety. You ain't got to try to get sad. The feelings follow the thoughts. But if you could just use an ounce of willpower, start to purposely. Think about what you want. Start to purposely put your attention on what you want. As you put your attention on it, you're going to start moving toward it on accident. When you put your attention on it, you're going to start getting good ideas on accident. You're going to start getting excited on accident. You're going to start getting motivated on accident. You could be doing, have anything you desire, but you got to get clear about what you want. So the question that I'm asking you guys is, do you know what you want? Because I'm gonna give you the 5 C's, and the 5 C's is the secret that's gonna teach you how to get what you want. What's going on, y'all? Tap, tap, tap, tap, tap the screen. How y'all doing? You could be doing, have anything you desire, but you gotta get clear about what it is that you desire. What's going on, Lala? What's going on, Michael? How y'all doing? What's up, Rebecca? Thanks for the taps, y'all. Yo, if this your first time in here, I'm Coach Jay. I coach bosses and I teach you you could be doing, have anything you Desire. But let's look at that because it sounds good, but it's actually a process. You can be, do, and have anything you desire. Are we on here? Yeah, we are. But before you can have it, there's certain things that you have to do. But before you do those things, there's certain things that you have to become. Okay, now you can be, do, and have anything you desire. Not anything you fear, anything you desire. And you got to learn how to spend more time desiring what you want than being nervous. You got to spend more time desiring what you want than being anxious. You got to spend more time desiring what you want than being upset that it's not here. But this is the order, okay? Before you can be it, you have to do it. Before you can do it— I mean, before you can do it, you have to be it. And before you can have it, you have to do it. Most people try to skip right to steps 2 and 3 without taking care of the becoming. Now, being happens internally. Being happens in here. Before I can have riches, there's certain things that I have to do. But before I can do those things, I got to become the type of person that can do those things. Before I can do entrepreneurship, I gotta become an entrepreneur. Now, becoming an entrepreneur isn't an outfit you put on. Becoming an entrepreneur isn't walking around with a MacBook. Becoming an entrepreneur isn't going to sit down at Starbucks and looking like you're working. Being an entrepreneur is a mindset. Being an entrepreneur is a way of thinking. Being an entrepreneur is where you got this ability where you can see acorn— where you can see an acorn but know it's an oak tree inside of there. Being an entrepreneur is a superpower that you have when you can see a problem and instantly your brain starts to go in the direction of solutions. You're gonna have a hard time having success and doing successful things if you try to do it before you become that type of person. So that's why we do the becoming first. Before I can be a champion, before I can do champion things, I gotta become a champion. Before I can do rich, I gotta become rich. Things have to shift in here before they gonna shift out there. You gotta change it in your head before you can change it in your life. Okay, you gotta change it in your head before you can change it in your life. If you can't change it in your head, you can't change it in your life. If you can't see a world where your life could be different, then you would never have a different life. You gotta discipline your thinking. You gotta quit thinking like you always thought so you quit having what you always had. If you want something new, you gotta think different. You gotta let some new stuff in. You gotta put that down so you can pick this up. You gotta put down what you don't want so you can pick up what you would like to have. You could be doing have anything you desire, but you gotta do it in this order: be, do, have. Anything that you desire. Didn't say you could be doing have anything. I said you could be doing have anything that you desire. We need to look up the word desire. Where's my iPad? It's not. Over here. Hey Siri, she not doing it while I'm live. I want to look up the word desire. Somebody do me a solid, look up the word desire and paste it in the comments. We gonna keep going, we gonna keep going. So let's look at the 5 C's. Have y'all ever heard me talk about the 5 C's? Success. 5 C's success strategy. All right. Hey, thanks for the shares, y'all. Keep tapping, keep sharing. We finna have some fun. Let's get into it. So our first C is clarity. Clarity. Clarity is getting clear, getting certain about what the outcome is. Clarity is understanding where the mind goes, the body follows. So clarity is looking at what I don't like and figuring out what I would like to have. Going, oh, I don't like that. I don't like that. What I'd rather have is this. Clarity is about getting clear. Okay. Now, after we get clarity, second C is calibration. Calibration is about focus. Calibration is about repetition. Calibration is about putting my attention on the thing that I got clarity on. Calibration is about— think about it. If you calibrate to a scared movie, you ain't got to try to get scared. Getting scared is the result of calibrating to that movie. If you calibrate to an action movie, you ain't got to try to get calibrated to the— you ain't got to try to get excited. Just calibrate to the movie. Last night we was watching a movie, we got calibrated to the movie. We ain't have to try to lock in, we ain't have to try to lose track of time. We just calibrated to the movie. When you get clarity about what you want and you start focusing on what you want, you don't got to try to feel excited. You don't got to try to feel motivated. You ain't got to try to feel hype. You just got to get calibrated to what you want. This is where it get crazy. When you got clarity about what you don't want, you locked in on what you don't like, you heavily tuned in to what you don't like about life, what's not working in life. That's what you end up getting calibrated to. When you calibrated to what you don't like, you don't got to try to feel frustrated. You don't got to try to feel annoyed. You don't got to try to feel like your life not moving forward because it's not because of how you focus. So I need you to stop getting so much clarity about what you don't want, and I need you to start asking yourself, what would I rather have? I want this, this, this, this, this, this, and this. Start focusing on it. Start calibrating to it. Start calibrating to it. Because when you calibrate to it, what's going to happen is you're going to start to build confidence. Think about it. Think about something in your life that you don't like. Think about something in your life that you haven't been liking for a while. I bet you're pretty confident that that same thing is going to exist tomorrow. You ain't got to try to believe it's going to be there. You just know that person ain't never going to change. No matter what I do, that person, they going to— that's who they are. You ain't got to try to believe it, but you've saw it enough, you've experienced enough, you focused on it enough that you confident in it, right? So one thing I always say, if it work in this direction, it'll work in this direction. We gonna turn that process around. We gonna get clear about what we want, and we gonna start focusing on that. And what's gonna happen is you gonna start to get confident in the fact that of course things working out for me. Of course I got that job. Of course I got promoted. Of course I wake up feeling good. Like, why, why wouldn't I? That's what's gonna happen when we start getting confident in a direction that we want to go. But before we get confident, we got to get clear. We got to get calibrated. It's the same process. Now, this, this is the dope thing about the 5C program. The 5C program, you can use to become successful. You could use it to fail. It works in both directions. You running the 5C program whether you realize it or not. I need you to start running it on purpose. I need you to get clear about what you want. Then I need you to calibrate to what you want. You got to use some willpower on this part. We'll talk about calibration in a little bit. I got to show you how the calibration process work. Then you going to stay here until you accidentally Go here. You're going to stay on this step manually calibrating. Confidence is when you calibrate on accident. So you have to manually calibrate until you start calibrating on accident. When you start calibrating on accident, that's what we call confidence. Confidence is— confidence is when you can feel good while you're doing affirmations, but when you're done doing affirmations, that good feeling follow you to your car. That good feeling follows you or not. Like, it's easy to feel good when you in a room by yourself. It's easy to feel those feelings when you're in a room by yourself. Confidence is when you can take it with you. Confidence is when you can watch the news and they can say something that you don't like and you can still feel those feelings. Confidence is when you can see something you don't like and it don't take you out of your calibration. It don't take you out of your calibration. Is that making sense? So we get clarity, we get calibrated, then we get confident. Now, once we get that, that's what I call the foundation. I call these top 3, we call it the foundation. Now, once we get the foundation secure, now we go to competence. Now we go to competence. This is step 4. Okay. A lot of times people think that step 4 is step 1. Step 4 is not step 1. I'm not saying that doing things not important and not important. But when you try to do things before you get the mind in order, you tend to screw the shit up. When you try to take action before you discipline your mind, you tend to screw shit up. If you came to me and said, "Hey, Coach Jay, I want to lose 100 pounds. Can you help me?" I say absolutely. But I'm not sending you to Planet Fitness tomorrow. I'm not telling you to stop eating carbs tomorrow. I want to start working on your mind. I want to start working on your mind. I know if we get your mind where you need to be, you're gonna go to Planet Fitness on accident. I know if we get your mind where we need it to be, certain foods just not gonna seem that good to you no more. I know if we get your mind where you need. to be, man, you gonna drink more water, you gonna walk more, you gonna move more, you gonna have a desire to move your body. But if I try to force you to Planet Fitness without your mind in order, you gonna find an excuse to leave. You gonna find all the excuses, you gonna find all the reasons why it'll never work, and it's gonna be everybody's fault but yours. But when we get you clear about what you want— what size shirt you wanna wear, what size dress you wanna wear, what size pants you wanna wear, what size, what number do you wanna see when you look at the scale, When we get you clear about what you want and we get you calibrated to that feeling and we get you so calibrated in that feeling that you feel that way on accident, you ain't got to try to feel that way. That's what confidence is. Then when I send you to Planet Fitness, you're going to have a whole type of energy at Planet Fitness. But when you try to do this first, when you try to do this before you do this, you're not getting the results you want. That's why so many new businesses fail. That's why over half of marriages end in divorce, because people trying to do life together without getting clear about what they want, without getting calibrated to where they going, and without getting confident in what they got. They think— they say, okay, we're going to do this and all of this is going to happen. You save yourself a lot of heartache. You save yourself a lot of trouble when you get the clarity, the calibration, and the confidence first. Get clear, get calibrated, get confident in that calibration, and then, and then do the doing. I'm not saying don't go back to school. I'm saying get clear, get calibrated, get confident, then go back to school. I'm not saying never date again. I'm saying get clear about what you want, calibrate to what you want, get confident in what you want, then start dating. I'm not saying don't start a business. I'm saying, get clear about the business you want to start. Who do you want to serve? Who are your dream customers? Who are the people you don't want to work with? Is this an online business? Is this a remote business? Is this a brick-and-mortar business? Is this a nonprofit? Is it a for-profit? What's your revenue goals? How big of a team do you want to have? What do you want to scale this to? What's your exit strategy? Get clear on what you want. Get calibrated to what you want. Get confident in it. And then build a business plan, and then build a website, and then start the marketing, and then get on TikTok Live. Okay? Because when you try to do this, when you try to do the doing without clarity, calibration, and confidence, you're gonna convince yourself that you're not good at it. When the problem isn't that you're not good at it. The problem is you don't know what the hell you're doing. And the only reason you don't know what the hell you're doing is because you haven't taken the time to get clear. Did y'all know that the word manifest means to make obvious to the mind? Like, did you know a synonym for manifest is obvious? Did you know a synonym for manifest is clear? A lot of times you see people trying to manifest vague things and they wonder why they're not getting it. It's too vague. It's, it's too vague. You don't know what you want. You can't get what you want until you know what you want. You can't get what you want until you know what you want. Are you willing to take the time to figure out what you want? How many of y'all feel like y'all got clarity? Do you feel like you got clarity about what you want? What percentage of clarity would you say you got? If you're not sure, it's a quiz on my Link in my bio. If you go to the link in my bio, I believe that first link will let you take a clarity quiz and it'll spit you out a percentage about how clear you are. If you get anything less than an 80 on that test, we got work to do. It's not that you're not confident. You don't got clarity. It's not that you can't do it. The problem is you don't got clarity. It's not that you stupid. The problem is you don't got clarity. It's not that the market is oversaturated. The problem is you don't got clarity. It's not that you're a bad mom. You don't got clarity. It's not that you're a bad dad. You don't got clarity. It's not that you're a bad entrepreneur. You don't have clarity. When you get clarity, everything else tends to fall in line. Without a vision, the people perish. What's the vision? Where are we headed? Where are we going? Imagine getting in an Uber and just telling the driver where you don't want to go. I don't want to go to the mall. I don't rock with the mall like that. It's too expensive. I'm not paying $250 for no one pair of shoes. Don't take me to the mall. Don't take me to the doctor. Ain't nothing wrong with me. I feel fine. Why would you try to take me to the doctor? What, like you just in the Uber, but you giving the driver a list of places that you don't want to go? That makes zero sense, doesn't it? But that's how a lot of people go through life. They go through life with their attention on what they don't want. They go through life on the phone talking about what they don't want, joining groups to talk about what they don't want, on TikTok watching videos about what they don't want, sending their friends videos about what they don't want. All of their attention is going on what they don't want. Where attention goes, energy flows. When you focus on what you don't want, you don't got to try to feel anxious. When you focus on what you don't want, you don't got to try to feel nervous. When you focus on what you don't want, you don't got to try to procrastinate. When you focus on what you don't want, You don't got to try to feel down. You don't got to try to feel sad. But when you focus on what you would rather have, when you focus on what you do want, you don't got to try to feel motivated. You don't got to try to feel inspired. You ain't got to try to feel energized. You got to change your focus. You trying to change your habits when what you got to change is your focus. And a new focus will produce new habits. Yeah, you heard me right. A new focus will produce new habits. You don't use willpower to create new habits. If you just start paying attention to different shit, if you just start paying attention to different shit, you will be— you'll start getting different results on accident. If you just start following different people on social media, if you just start listening in on different conversations, if you just start watching different shit on YouTube, If you just start hanging out in different communities, you will start doing different on accident. I can remember when I got my first house, man, it was in a neighborhood where nobody was doing the yard and I wasn't going to be the one to start. I wasn't doing the yard. I could care less about that yard. I was renting that house. It wasn't my damn house. I wasn't getting out there and doing no yard. Then about 3 years later, I moved into another house. This house was on a golf course. And everybody in this neighborhood took their yard serious. There's this old white guy next door to me named Tim. Tim's no younger than 65. Tim would be outside every Saturday morning around 5, 6 AM because he was trying to get out there before the sun came up. And Tim was edging his yard. Now I wasn't waking up at 6, but when I got up and started moving around 11, I'd go see Tim's yard and go, Tim think shit sweet. You think, Tim, you think your yard finna be better than mine? I ain't know nothing about mowing the yard. I ain't know nothing about nothing. I ain't had no daddy growing up. I ain't know nothing about none of that stuff. I got on YouTube and started watching videos. I'm like, bet I need a trimmer. I need an edger. Okay, I need a mower. I went to Home Depot. I got right. I got me a lawn mower. I got everything I needed. Guess who else was out there every Saturday doing their yard? Guess who else was out there treating their grass and doing all this stuff? Guess who started asking Tim, hey Tim, I saw you doing it. Why you do that? I was in a new— in my old neighborhood, I had no desire to do my yard. But in this new neighborhood where everybody else was doing their yard, I didn't have to try to want to do my yard. It didn't take no willpower. It was like, bet, that's, that's what— oh, okay, that's what we do over here. Okay, I wasn't gonna be the only one in the neighborhood who yard wasn't put together. Get yourself in a new environment, start focusing on different stuff. And when I say a new environment, I'm not talking about a physical environment. 'Cause a lot of times you might be like, well, you don't understand, I'm stuck in this. Listen, the man that we know as Malcolm X wasn't built in a university. He was built in prison. He went to jail as this guy known as Detroit Red. He came out as the man that we know as Malcolm X. His body was incarcerated, but his mind was in books. He changed what he was focusing on. And when he changed what he was focusing on, he didn't have to try to become the man that we know as Malcolm X. It was in his nature because of what he was focusing on. I need you to start focusing on new shit. I need you to start focusing on what you want. You could be, do, and have anything you desire, but we really gotta break that. Let's write this on the board because we gotta break it down. People hear and they go, oh, that sounds good. Oh, before I erase this, the last C is consistency. If you do any of this once, it ain't gonna change your life. Consistency. This stuff you do over and over and over again. You should constantly be getting clarity, calibration, confidence, competence, and consistency. In your marriage, you should constantly be getting clarity. And when you get new clarity, you got to calibrate to the new clarity. When you calibrate to the new clarity, guess what's going to happen? Your confidence is going to go up. But when your confidence goes up, guess what else better go up? Your competence better go up. You don't want your confidence here and your competence here. That's disastrous and inconsistent. So you bring these 5 C's Over and over again. Clarity is not something you do once; it's something you do daily. Clear calibration is not something you do once; it's something you do daily. Anybody who ever been in a long-term relationship, you know the person you met is not the person you dating today. You got to keep getting clear about where y'all headed. You got to keep calibrating to who this new person is, and it's the same person, but it's a new person. Anybody who ever been with somebody a long period of time know what I'm talking about. It's the same person, but it's a different person. As your kids get older, you got to get more clarity. Like, I'm meeting a new version of my daughter right now. This is not the child that I knew a year ago. This is not the child that I knew 2 years ago. This is definitely not my 5-year-old sweetheart. I got to get clear on, okay, this is the new Riley. I got to calibrate to the new Riley. Now, if I'm sitting in my old clarity trying to calibrate to the new Riley, I got a problem. This making sense? Clarity is not something you get once. I got a lot of colleagues who used to be able to keep up, used to be able to keep up, but they stopped learning. When we both first came out of school, we was neck and neck, but I kept reading, I kept learning, I kept teaching, I kept growing. And they, man, I got my stuff. What you still doing all that studying for? Look, this is the thing about life. You either growing or you dying. It's no such thing as sitting still. You either getting better or you getting worse. I remember one time, man, I took about 5 months off of doing this. I took about 5 months off of talking, 5 months off of teaching, 5 months off of being on stages, man. I got back on that stage, I was like, who is this? This is because usually I can just Usually, like, before I get on stage, I don't even know what I'm talking about. Hey, what you about to talk about? I said, I don't know. We're gonna just get up here and it's gonna flow. Boy, I got back on that stage after months of not being back on— being on that stage, it was rough. There's no such thing as sitting still. And I was doing a lot of street hypnosis, and I was doing a lot of entertainment hypnosis. I had to go out and keep that short— that sharp sword. Wow. I had to keep that What I'm trying to say, I have to keep that sword sharp. Got to be a knowledge sponge. You got to be growing, and you got to understand, if you don't use it, you really do lose it. Like, this is the thing about the 5C strategy. You can have the 5C strategy in your head, but until you start doing it, it can't do— it can't do nothing for you. It's like money. Money can't do nothing for you in the bank. Money can't do nothing for you in the bank. You better put that money in circulation. Better invest that money in a course. You better invest that money in a property. You better invest that money. It can't do nothing for you sitting at the bank. Better put that money to work. But knowledge and wisdom work the same way. It can't do nothing for you in your head. You better put that stuff in practice. Hold on real quick. That work. But knowledge and wisdom work the same way. It can't do nothing for you in your head. You better put that stuff in practice. Hold on real quick, guys. Okay, I'm back, I'm back, I'm back. But I want to break down this sentence because I say it a lot. I think a lot of people go, ooh, I like that. They like the way it sounds, but we gotta really look at what it means. I think a lot of people go, ooh, I like that. They like the way it sounds, but we gotta really look at what it means. I think a lot of people go, ooh, I like that. They like the way it sounds, but we gotta Really look at what it means. Can be do and have anything. Oh, skip the end. You desire. Let's look at this. You can be, do, and have anything you desire. Now, the first thing we got to notice is that the sentence ends here. It doesn't end here. Okay, it don't say you could be doing have anything. It's that you could be doing have anything you desire. Okay, we're gonna slow this all the way down. You can be doing have anything you desire. Now one of the first things I want you to do for me is I want you to put this in the first person because your your nervous system interacts differently with it. when you put it in the first person. So I need you to really lock in with me. I need you to say, I can be, do, and have anything I desire. And I want you to actually touch it. I can be, do, and have anything I desire. Like, watch Muhammad Ali when he do his affirmations. He don't go, I am fast. I am a great boxer. I box really well. He go, I'm 25 years old and ain't a scratch on my face. I'm pretty. I'm fast. I'm lightning. I'm so fast. Last night I cut off the light and I was in the room. I was in the bed before the room was even I float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. The hands can't touch what the eyes can't— You see how he's using his whole body to embody what he's— he's embodying what he's saying. He's not just saying it, he's living it, he's experiencing it. Every cell, every fiber in his being is— you can have your mouth here and your mind over there, but now he putting his mouth, his mind, his body, his heart, his brain, his solar plexus Every part of him is embodying what's being said. Okay, we did a live a few weeks ago called Doing Affirmations Is Stupid, and people came in and they was heated, but the people who stuck around got to have a discussion with me. And we was talking about how you don't just do an affirmation, you got to become the affirmation. If you're gonna just do the affirmation, you waste your time because the past tense of done is did. The past tense of do is did. So when you finish with the affirmation, if you did the affirmation, it's something that you left in the bathroom. It's something that you left in your bedroom in the mirror. So you can go in the bathroom in the morning and go, I am peace, I am love, I am joy. But when you get in your car and be frustrated and be annoyed and be pissed off, you left that. You got to bring the affirmation with you. You got to put the affirmation on like you put a hat on. You got to put the affirmation on like you put a hoodie on. You got to get dressed in it. You got to get wrapped in it. But you can be, do, and have anything you Desire. So in order to desire something, first thing you got to know is you got to know what you want. I done coached a lot of people. I've been doing coaching for damn near 2 decades. 95% of the people who come into my office don't know what they want. They know what they don't want. They tell you all about it. It's so weird to hear people talk about what they don't want. They got like little jokes worked into. You could say like, bro, you told that story a lot of times. Well, man, where do I start? Well— And they, they take you through this like monologue, and it's like, man, you've really practiced that story. What would you rather have? Eyes just go blank. I just can't keep— I didn't ask you what you couldn't keep doing. I said, what do you want? You can be, do, and have anything you desire. But if you don't know what you want, how do you desire it? Does that make sense? If you don't know what you want, let's say you in a marriage and your partner— this is not what I signed up for. I don't feel like I'm in a partnership. They're always nagging. They're not helping. They don't clean up behind theyself. I can't keep doing this. I when I talk, I feel like nobody's listening. I don't feel respected. I I just can't keep. What do you want? I just told you. I don't. That's what you don't want. What do you want? I want to feel like I'm in a team. I want to feel like I'm in a partnership. I want to feel like I got somebody who's with me through thick and thin. I want to feel desired. I want to feel. What do you want? Read this. You could be doing have anything you. Desire. You can't— it didn't say you could be, do, and have anything you upset about not having. It don't say you could be, do, and have anything that you complain about. It don't say you could be, do, and have anything. So you could be doing— have anything you desire. In order to desire it, you got to get clear about what it is that you don't want. And if you're so busy being pissed off at what you don't want, it leaves zero time to desire what you would rather have. You got to take time to desire what you want. What do you want? What do you want? And if it's not rolled down, it's just a hope. It's just a wish. Write it down. What do you want? The Bible say put it on paper. Make it plain. What do you want? So you figure out what you want, and then it's some more nuance in here. This is not just an order that I picked out of there. You can be, do, and have. That's one of our formulas for success right there. Before you can have it, there's certain things that got to be done. That's the doing. But before you can do them, there's a certain person you got to become. I saw a quote a while back. It said, it didn't take me a long time to build a successful business. What took me a long time is becoming the type of person that could build a successful business. Once I became that type of person, it took months, not years. I was coaching this one young lady one time, and she was telling me how it took her 10 years to leave her husband. And I'm telling her, it didn't take you 10— it took you 10 years to get fed up. It took you 10 years to say enough is enough. But when you decided to leave, it took minutes. It didn't— it don't take 10 years to leave nobody. It might take 10 years to decide to leave, But once you became the person that was fed up, once you became the person that was, I'm not doing this another day. Once you became, the doing happened naturally. And once the doing happened naturally, you had the results you wanted. It don't take a lot of time to lose weight once you become the type of person that's fed up. Once you become the type of person that's going, look, I got a reason to live. I got a reason to be here. I got— it's a certain thing I want to see. Once you do the becoming, the doing happens naturally. It's a reason this is in this order. You can become the type of person that you need to become so that you can do the type of things that you need to do to have the life that you want to have. Anything you desire. Does this make sense? I guess the way we could say it is if you desire it, you can be, do, and have anything. Yeah, we gonna restructure the sentence. It resonates better that way. Let's rewrite it. Let's rewrite it. That might be the name of my next book. It's long for a title, but I don't care. I don't care. All right, so we gonna rewrite this. If you desire It's— you can be, do, and have anything. You know what, we're gonna take this one step First, if if I desire it, I could be doing half anything. All the stuff we talk about in these lives, I want y'all to put it in the first person. So I want you to I want you to really say that if I desire it. I could be doing half anything. But in order to desire it, you got to come out of that anxious state. In order to desire it, you got to come out of that fearful state. Desire isn't fear. Desire isn't anxiety. Have you ever desired something before? Let's make it plain. We adults. Let's look at sexual desire. When you sexually desire someone, Do you got to try to get your body to respond? Do you got to try to get turned on? Do you got to try to get activated? Or just is putting your attention on that person enough to make the body do what it needs to do? You ever had the body follow suit when you was like, whoa, body, not right now. Not right now. Hold on. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. The body follows the desire. The being follows the desire. The doing follows the being, and the having follows the doing. This hypnosis one-on-one. Desire. The reason you don't have it is because you're not taking time to desire it. You fearful of it, you anxious about it, but that's not the manifesting state. Desire. I believe in Think and Grow Rich. Ain't the first chapter of Think and Grow Rich, ain't it desire? A burning desire Napoleon Hill talks about. You gotta take time to desire what you want. When— if somebody come into my office and they go, I wanna quit smoking, one of the first things I'm trying to figure out is, why do you desire to quit smoking? My doctor said— I don't care what your doctor said. If what your doctor said was going to move you, you wouldn't need to be in my office. If the thought of counseling was enough to make you stop, you wouldn't be here. If long counseling was gonna make you stop, you wouldn't be in my office talking to me. Well, my wife said— I don't— Give a damn what your wife said, respectfully. I don't care. What do why do you desire to quit smoking? And until you can tell me something like, man, I got a three-year-old daughter, and one day she's going to get married, and I'm gonna be at their wedding. I'm going to walk my baby down. I desire to be in my bed. Oh, now that I got a strong desire to link this to, the being is gonna be no problem. And when we take care of the being, this and this take care of itself. If you could just become the type of person, the doing and the having take care of itself. Like, once I became an entrepreneur, I didn't have to try to do entrepreneurship. Ask my girlfriend. If anything, it's harder to get me out of my— it's harder to get me out of my office than it is to get me in my office. It's harder to stop me from working on my business than it is to get me started working on my business. I— once I became entrepreneur— now, the first go-around, I was trying to do entrepreneurship, but I hadn't became entrepreneur. I failed. But when I became entrepreneur, the doing flows through me. I just did because I desire to show my God— to show God my obedience. Okay, and I need you to get that. More defined, Rebecca. I need you to get it specific. And it do, man, when you get clear about what you want and you start desiring what you want. Desire is the glue that holds it all together. You have not because you ask not. But in order to ask, you got to get clear about what you want. So do yourself a favor, get crystal clear about what it is that you want so you can start to Desire it. Start to desire it. If you want to lose weight, I need you to stop complaining about the body that you in. I need you to stop complaining about the low energy. I need you to just start desiring the new body. I need you to start desiring the number that you want to see on the scale. That desire is going to activate something in you. Like, think about it. When you watch a funny movie, when you lock onto a funny movie, you will laugh on accident. If you lock onto a sad movie, you will cry on accident. If you lock onto an action movie, you will get excited on that. If you lock onto a scary movie, you will get scared. You don't try to get scared. Think about when people come into my office, they don't want to be anxious. But their focus is producing anxiety. You know, I do a little something, Rebecca. Where attention goes, energy flows. You got to start putting your attention on your desires. Okay? Now, in order to do that, you got to slow down that mind. The best time to do this is in the morning, right out of bed. Listen to me. Before you check the weather, before you check your bank account, before you check your text messages, before you check your emails, before you check in with your partner, before you see what the kids doing, I need you to start starting your day by focusing on your desires. Focusing on what on your desires, and if you really want to supercharge this, start with gratitude and morph from gratitude. focusing on your desire. Like, when you get in the Bible, notice every time, like, Jesus was asking God for something, he'll give thanks, then that's what he wanted. Hey God, thank you for this fish. We gonna need some more. It's a lot of people out here. Like, thank you for this, and, and this is what I need. When my daughter asks for stuff, man, it— the way she asks, she'll come in there, Daddy, I just saw this dollhouse on TV, and when I get it, I'm gonna put it right beside my other dollhouse, Daddy. And 5 of my Barbies gonna live in the old dollhouse, and my other 7 Barbies, they gonna live in the new one 'cause it's way bigger. She's excited. Like, she not come— she coming in there under the influence of what she wants. She's coming in there wrapped in the desire. She not coming in there wrapped in the lack. When she come in there wrapped in a desire and she asks for something, I can't tell her no. Her mama going, Jay, she don't need another doll. Man, I don't care what she need. Did you see the look on my baby's face? Did you see the excitement? When she's wrapped in that desire, I can't say no to her. But imagine if she came in there wrapped in the leg. What's going on? Imagine if she came in there, Daddy, that old dollhouse I got is stupid. It's too small. My Barbies can't— I don't like that one. I need a new one. It's very easy for me to say no to her from there. You don't get your ungrateful self out of my face. Go clean your room up. Go clean your room. You bored. You need something to do. You're not getting another dollhouse. You don't even appreciate the one you got. If she came in there complaining, if she came in there depressed and sad and down talking about what she don't got, it ain't a smile to wipe off her face. Like when that smile already on her face, I don't want to wipe that smile off her face. But when she already complaining, she already acting like a brat, it's very easy. Like no, get out. You're not getting it, Daddy. Girl, get out for sure. And where the mind goes, the body follows. That's why we lay the 5 C's out the way we lay the 5 C's out. Clarity is step one. You can't get what you want until you know what you want. Like, you got— man, you got to realize, like, this you, right? You are the one sperm cell that beat out 300 million other sperm cells. That's how bad you wanted to be here. You wanted to be here so bad that you beat out 300 million Of your siblings to fertilize that egg. You wanted to be here. Then you got inside of the egg, right? You fertilized the egg and you was like, I want to get out there and play. And they was like, well, if you want to go out there and play, you're going to need a whole lot of cells. You're going to need some fingernails. You're going to need some fingers. You're going to need some toes. You're going to need some lungs. You're going to need a kidney. You're going to need a heart. You're going to need a brain. And you sat in there and built all of that. This you. Don't forget who you are. Think about all the stuff you learned in your first 2 years of life. You learned how to walk. You learned how to read body languages. You learned how to read facial expressions. You learned, okay, that's Mom, that's Dad. I need to ask him for this type of stuff. I need to ask her for that type of stuff. I ask her, she— like, kids are calculating. Kids are manipulative little masters. They are intelligent. But imagine if you can take your 2-year-old mindset into your business. What's your 2-year-old mindset? Your 2-year-old mindset is you might jump off a table and scrape your knee, start crying. By the time your mama can bandage it up and put you a Band-Aid on it, you're gonna jump your badass right back up on that same table. What if you could take that same type of mindset into a business? You started it, it didn't work, it didn't have to turn out, but instead of packing it up, you, you bandage yourself up, you get right back on that table. What if you could take that version of self in your business? What if you could take that version of you into your marriage? What if you could take that version of you into your parenting strategy? Okay, that didn't work. Let's bandage it up and try this again. What if you could take that mindset into your fitness journey? Look, I fell off the wagon. Let's bandage up. I'm trying this again. You know how many times you failed when you was learning how to walk? You didn't go, okay, walking ain't for me. It's stupid. I give up. Give me a wheelchair. I'm not walking. I give up. No, I tried. I failed 12 times. I'm over it. You know how long you was learning how to talk and saying it's the wrong— you didn't say talking ain't for me. You said, nah, I want to do that. I'm going to keep trying. You had no concept of failure. Did you know that a baby is only born with 2 fears? Y'all done got me excited. Did you know that a baby is only born with 2 fears? Anybody who really know my content, anybody who been coming in here, you probably heard me talk about this before. But a baby is born with a fear of falling and a fear of loud noises. Outside of that, a baby has no other fear. Only way you can scare a baby is to put it down too fast or to like make a loud noise. You could put a newborn baby on the stage in front of 10,000 people and it's not gonna get nervous. You could talk to a newborn baby about COVID about the recession, It's not going to get nervous. Anything that you fear, you learned that fear between the ages of 0 and 8. And this is what I love about learning. If you can learn it, you can unlearn it. If you can learn it, you can forget it. Now, that fear of falling and that fear of loud noises, hypnosis or not, you stuck with those. You stuck with those. But all those other fears you got, all this other bull stuff that you letting get in the way of your greatness, oh, we can uninstall that. We can override that. If I desire it, I can be, do, and have anything. Okay. Not if I fear it. Not if I complain about it. Not if I get upset about it. Not if I talk about it. If I desire it. I need you to start taking time to desire it. Before you can desire it, you got to define it. And some people might be sitting here going, well, Jay, I don't know what it is. Okay, if you don't know what it is, let me tell you the easiest way To figure this out. And really, I'm calling cap. It's a defense mechanism. It's a limiting belief that's blocking it. You know what you want. When you look in your bank account and you see not enough money, what do you automatically desire? I know the— I know the live got a slight lag on it, so we gonna wait. When you look in your bank account and you see not enough money, what do you instantly have a desire for? And keep tapping the screen, guys. Tap, tap, tap, tap, tap. Money. You ain't gotta try to want money. You ain't gotta think about, do I want— when you see lack of money, you instantly have a desire for more money. If you, um, in a situation and you feel disrespected, what do you instantly desire? Do you have to go have a meeting to go, okay, they said this, I'm not— I felt like this. I don't know how— When you feel disrespected, what do you automatically have a desire for? Respect. Okay. So, what you're going to start doing is you're going to say, this thing over here, I don't like it. I don't like my job. I don't like how they treat me. I don't like how they talk to me. I don't feel like they appreciate me. They underpay me and overwork me. I don't like that. And you're going to ask yourself, well, what would I rather have? You're going to say, well, I'd rather have a job where I feel appreciated. I'd rather have a job where I feel valued, where I feel like people actually listen when I talk. I want a job where there's room for growth and room for promotion. I want a job that energizes me. I want a job that I enjoy doing. I want a job— sometimes I'm having so much time, so much fun, I forget that I'm working. As you start to make these plus signs outweigh these negatives over here, this is what we call desire. Now when this desire gets built up enough, ideas start showing up. Situations and circumstances start showing up. But when you focused on this, because this is what most people do, they focus on this. They get hypnotized by this, and then they wonder why they get so much of this. Because I'm gonna tell you something, if you hypnotized by this, even if you get a new job, this gonna follow you. If you're in a relationship you don't want, and you don't do this, they don't do this, they don't do this, they don't do this, they don't do this, they don't do this, they don't do this, they don't do this, they don't do this, they don't do this— if this is your dominant vibration, You can get in a new relationship. Guess what's coming with you? It ain't no more good men out here. You know why? Because you keep taking this with you. All women are gold diggers. You know why? Because you keep taking this with you. If you can say, what would I want to have? What would I rather have? And you can start focusing on this. You can stay in that new relationship. Let me tell you what's going to happen. That partner either gonna raise up to this vibration or law of attraction gonna take care of it. They either finna grow with you or law of attraction finna take care of it. Yeah, you ain't, you ain't, you ain't gotta break up with people. You just gotta work on you. Stop trying to change people. If you change you, they either gonna change and evolve with you or law of attraction gonna take care of it. Law of attraction gonna go, you know what, I got somebody else that'll be a better match for you vibrationally. Leave Negative Nancy over there where she is. And yeah, that, that fit you. Come here, I got a neg— I got a negative person for you too. Every— like, everybody gonna get what's for them. But you don't get what you— what's for you by focusing on what you don't want and trying to fix it. You don't fix this by getting more descriptive about it. You don't fix this by making a long list of of everything you don't like. The way that you fix this is by taking your attention off of it and focusing on this. Like, I used to do a lot— I used to help a lot of people quit smoking before I started working with like entrepreneurs and high performers. The money was in quit smoking, so I would do— I helped hundreds of people quit smoking. But when these people would come in to quit smoking, what I was doing was Like, imagine if they came to quit smoking, and in the quit smoking session, I'm going, you know those cigarettes killing you? You know those things give you cancer? You know you spend hundreds of dollars a year on those things? You know those things make you stink and they make your teeth yellow? Why you smoking those cigarettes, man? Smoking cigarettes is stupid. I don't like people who smoke You cigarettes. I'm not smoking cigarettes. know what tobacco do to you? You know there's carcinogens in cigarettes? You know there's— you know what's— They knew all that stuff when they showed up. If this was going to make them stop, they wouldn't be in my office. You know what I do? I say, why you want to be a nonsmoker? I just know it's not good for me. Bullshit. Why do you want to be a nonsmoker? You tired of your wife pulling away from you when you get close to her because you smell like a freight train, huh? So what would you rather have? I don't want to have to wash my hands every time I touch my wife. I want to smell like cologne instead of a fucking freight train. I started getting them real motivated by what they want. I started getting so many of these they never thought of. So now that you're gonna be a nonsmoker, what you gonna do with that extra money? What kind of cigarettes you smoke? Newports? Man, I'm $9.85 a pack, right? And you go through a pack and a half a day, so you spending $17 a day on cigarettes. Hey Siri, what's 17 times 365? $8,000. Goddamn. So what you gonna do with this additional $8,000 over the course of this year? Oh, you're gonna take a vacation with that $8,000 and your wife gonna be really excited about that. She been wanting to get out of town. I start building positive associations around what they want. Let's talk about how the subconscious Let me check my calendar. Hold on, just give me just a second. Let me make sure I'm not missing an appointment. Let me check my calendar. Hold on, just give me just a second. Let me make sure I'm not missing an appointment. Let me check my calendar. Hold on, just give me just a second. Let me make sure I'm not missing an appointment. Let me check my calendar. Hold on, just give me just a second. Let me make sure I'm not missing an appointment. I'm not missing an appointment. I did it. Make sure. I'm going to do this for about three months. Yeah, I think it's up to eleven thousand. Appreciate you. Appreciate you. If we get this up to twenty, I got something special for y'all. Got some special offers. We'll bring out some discounts and such. All right. So people who done already heard this, stick with me. Repetition is a very powerful thing. So this is the mind when you're first born. And it's blank, except for what we call the primitive mind. And that primitive mind, that's that stuff that you're already born knowing. Nobody teaches you fight, flight, or flight. You're born with understanding. When faced with a threat, I can fight it, run away from it, or play dead. Fight, flight. Okay? Now, between the ages of 0 and 8, you start to make associations. You'll make some positive associations. You make some negative associations. Any of y'all ever get to talk about money? Look, we better go in the store. Don't touch anything. Don't ask for nothing. You're not getting shit. Any of y'all ever got that talk? That'll make some— that'll make negative associations around money. That'll make negative associations around asking. Okay? You might make some positive associations. I'm a good singer. I have a beautiful voice. People love it when I sing. Those are positive associations. But you start making a mixture of these associations. And we use positive and negatives, but the subconscious mind don't really work by positive and negative. The subconscious mind works by familiar and unfamiliar. If it's familiar, give me more of it. If it's unfamiliar, get it away from me. So the first 8 years of your life, you just a sponge. You just soaking up stuff. If you was born in a house where people speak 5 languages, you'll learn all 5 of those languages just by being in that house. That's how dope you are. That's you. You're in a state very similar to hypnosis. You're in a state of what we call hyper— Suggestibility. You're not questioning things, you're just in this learning state soaking it all in. Now around the age of 9, you start to develop what we call the critical mind, and that's when you start to think critically. That's when you start saying things like, hold on, this Santa Claus character, you telling me that one fat man with some reindeer give kids to everybody? I don't know, I don't think about it. That don't really make— That's when you start questioning things. That's when you start being more analytical, around the age of 9. Now, this critical faculty, what it does is it does 3 things. It generalizes, it distorts, and it deletes with the sole purpose of protecting these associations. So you're thinking critically now, but you're thinking critically after having 8 years of programming. You thinking critically now, but you're thinking critically after already having eight years programmed. So you are a critical thinker, but you critical based on this programming, and you generalizing, distorting, and deleting to protect this program. And this is what we call. The subconscious mind. I've been doing hypnosis for 2 decades, and I still have to work really hard to spell the word subconscious. And up here is what we call the conscious mind. Now, our subconscious mind runs off of feeling. and emotion. And this is where it gets real interesting. It's 98% of our thinking potential. Subconscious is 98% of our thinking potential. Let me zoom y'all in a little bit on that. 98% of our thinking potential runs off of feeling and emotion. And it's 98% of our thinking potential. The conscious mind runs off of logic, reason, analysis, willpower, and decision-making. Now, if our friend the subconscious is 98%, what percent does that leave for little subconscious— I mean, for little conscious up here? 2%. 2%. 2%. So logic, reason, analysis, willpower, and decision-making is 2% of our thinking potential, where the subconscious mind down here with the feeling and emotion is 98%. Let that sink in. We're going to stop right there for a moment just so you can wrap your mind around this. Let's talk about this subconscious mind. You ever been in a situation where you don't want to cry, but right now you're giving your attention to something and the subconscious mind go, oh, that reminds me of these associations right here. It's time to cry. The 2% using logic, reason, and analysis go, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. It's not a good time to cry. It's people looking at me. Like, not right now, not right now. The 98% gonna go, no, right now. I think we gonna do this right now. I feel like crying. So when you feel— when you feel like crying, is it possible for your logic, your reason, your analysis, and your willpower, and your decision-making to override the feeling? Is it possible? You ever tried to do that? How did that work out for you? Did it work out for you? Not at all. In fact, what happened is you probably ran into something called the law of reverse action. The harder you try, the harder you fail. The harder you try not to cry, the more you cry. That's how the subconscious mind works. It doesn't negate information. Fellas, you ever walk up to your girlfriend or your wife and say, baby, don't get mad? What's she gonna say? She gonna go, what did you do? The instant you go, baby, don't get mad, subconscious mind go, mad? Oh, I know what that is. That's these associations. And it starts to pull up every mad thing that ever happened in your life. And then you try to suppress it. It's not gonna work. It's not gonna work. So I want you to not tell yourself what not to do. Don't tell yourself, don't be nervous. Because subconscious mind gonna go nervous. Yeah, I know what that is. I know what nervous is. I know exactly what that is. You tell yourself, be confident, put your shoulders back, put your chest out, put your head up, think positive. Is that making sense? You don't tell yourself what not to do. You tell yourself what to do. That's one of the rules that you got to keep in mind when working with— when reprogramming the subconscious mind. Another thing that you got to understand is that the subconscious mind cares nothing about logic, nothing about reason, nothing about analysis, nothing about willpower, nothing about decision-making. The subconscious mind cares about feelings and emotion. Eventually, I'm going to end this live and I'm going to the gym. I'm not going to the gym because my blood pressure. I'm not going to the gym for my A1C. I'm going to the gym because I want to feel good when I'm naked. I want to feel like I got stamina for dope activities. You don't use logic, reason, and analysis to kick yourself into gear. The 98% doesn't care about the logic. The 98% don't really care about paying your mortgage. It cares about freedom. It cares about free expression of self. It cares about, I got enough money in the bank I can afford to tell people to fuck off. It feels great to be in a consultation with somebody and I can go, you know what, I don't like this person, and the thought of talking to them once a week drives me insane. I don't think we're a good fit. Here are a list of other people that could probably help you. I don't want to talk to you. The subconscious mind gets excited about that type of stuff. So, when you're building your goals, when you're building momentum and you're trying to start moving, I want you to stop thinking so much in the logic, the reason, and the analysis, because the two That's right. The 2% is not going to override this 98%. The question that you need to ask yourself is, how do I need to feel so that I can think what— like I need to think so that I can do what I need to do to have the things that I desire? How do I need to feel? What emotions do I need to get in my body that's going to trigger me to think different so that I can start doing different and having different? When information is coming into you, you got 4 places that information comes from. You got 4 places that information comes from. We call them messaging units. And throughout the day, you taking in billions of messaging units. So let's talk about the 4 types of messaging units. I'm trying to make sure I'm staying on camera. Okay, we'll put them over here. So one of the first places you get Getting information is from your external environment. Oh, it's hot out here. Oh, it's cold out here. Oh, it's sunny outside. Oh, so and so seems angry. So and so said this. I didn't like what they said on TV. CNN just said this. That's the external environment. So Elena, the thoughts and the feelings—they work in this. This causation loop. What you think, what you think controls how you feel. What you feel controls how you think. This causation loop. What you think, what you think controls how you feel. What you feel controls how you think. What you think controls how you feel. What you feel controls how you think. And we put people into 2 groups. If we look at this through the lens of what we call Capucinian hypnosis, we put people in 2 different piles. We put people in a pile of people that we call the emotionals. The emotionals are people who have a slow mind-body connection, so they tend to feel in the mind. They don't really feel in the body, whereas physicals are people who feel in the body. So physicals, they store rejection in the body. They store things in the body. So they are— they have a hard time changing their thinking. When there's certain feelings in the body. While our emotional friends, they can really change direction by getting grasp on their thoughts. But you got to be careful because emotionals, they don't like to be told what to do. They like to be handed the information and arrive at their own conclusions. So depending on where you fall on that cycle depends on which one most of your focus would go into. But I always tell people, just play with it. Play with it. Some people affirmations work great. Some people affirmations piss them off more. And these days, like these days, one of my favorite manifestation tools is a nap. Like whoa, they got way too much momentum, too much momentum. Ain't no amount of meditation, ain't no amount of hypnosis, ain't no amount of journaling, ain't no amount of focus wheel, ain't no amount of vision board gonna stop me from wanting to choke the life out of you. I'm gonna go take a nap and we'll wake up and reset when those vibrations have gone to a neutral place. But external is one of the places we get messaging units from. Our body is another place we get messaging units from. I'm hungry. My shoulder's itching. It's a crick in my neck. That's uncomfortable. So we're constantly getting messaging units from the body. And we're getting messaging units from our conscious mind. And we get messaging units— that's 3— and we get messaging units from our subconscious mind. From our subconscious. So we're constantly getting all of this information coming in. Now, the conscious mind holds information for up to 90 minutes. We're getting really granular with this. We don't really— we don't usually go this deep on TikTok. Conscious mind usually holds information for up to 90 minutes. Critical mind hold it for up to 24 hours. Subconscious mind holds it for a lifetime. But when new information comes in, let's say you've had a lot of messaging units coming in around lack, around not enough money, around not having enough, lots and lots and lots of them. So you got lots of negative associations down here in the subconscious mind. And let's say one day you're reading this book. Let's say you're reading this book called Think and Grow Rich. Right. And your logic goes, you know what, boy, this Napoleon Hill is on to something. Desire, faith, having a definite plan. You start using reason. I can see how that could change my life. You start using analysis and go, okay, yeah, he made some really good points. I'm going to use my willpower to make a new decision and do this. Now you just arrived at this New idea. This big red dot, that's the new idea. You just arrived. New idea. The new idea got about 90 minutes to bypass, to break its way into the critical mind. But the critical mind is going to look at all of these associations that you got down here, and it's going to generalize, distort, and delete based on what's already down here. So nine times out of ten, what's gonna happen is the critical mind gonna look down here, see all of these negative associations around money, and it's gonna say, "Nope, get out of here. Get out of here." So the purpose of every manifestation tool under the sun, the purpose of every vision board, every affirmation, every incantation, every sleep meditation that you fall falling asleep listening to. The purpose of those is to bypass the critical mind and start to make new associations in the critical mind, start to turn some of those positive— I mean, those negative associations into positive associations. The purpose of those things is to get you feeling different so that you can start acting different. But what I want to talk about is what are the ways to open the critical mind So that this new idea can go in and start planting itself in there. What are some ways that we can bypass the critical mind? What suggestions you guys got for bypassing the critical mind? Let's see what you got. What suggestions do you guys have for bypassing the critical mind? Critical mind. How much repetition is starting to be enough for new connections? Okay, so repetition. This is where repetition can get tricky. I'm pretty sure y'all have heard the saying that it takes 21 days to build a habit. Y'all got some good ones. Journaling. I love EFT. I love tapping. Okay. Have y'all heard the saying that say it takes 21 days to build a habit? Anybody ever heard that? Appreciate you, Laura. Appreciate you. So imagine you say, you know what, I'm finna build the habit of going to the gym. I'm building the habit of going to the gym. So tonight, let's say 5 PM is your gym time. You begrudgingly go to the gym. You begrudgingly go to the gym. Hey, let me go to the gym. I said I was gonna go. And you go, you do your workout, wasn't fun, you come back home. Tomorrow you go to the gym begrudgingly, don't want to go, you force yourself, you go. Let's say you continue this cycle for 21 days. Yeah, I bet you know a lot about repetition and practice, dog. That sleight of hand is crazy, and that didn't come from doing it 10 times. But let's say you do that for 21 days, right? You just built the habit of begrudgingly going to the gym. Is that the habit you wanted to build? That's where repetition gets tricky. Like, it's not enough just to force your— like, what type of attitude? That's where the well-formed outcome comes in. Under what circumstance do I want this And then you need to repetitiously practice doing it in that manner, because if you repetitiously force yourself to, you just build the habit of forcing yourself to go to the gym, and eventually you're going to run out of this WP, willpower. So one of the things you could do is start to imagine— Yeah, that's it, Niche. Imagining yourself doing it and feeling good. Focusing on the aspects of the gym that you like. You want to start building positive associations around the gym. Like, it's very easy for me to get on TikTok Live and say I'm gonna do 45 minutes and next— nah, that's somebody else's car. I don't know, man. That thing was going off all night. I think they reprogramming a key or something. I don't know. Right, and and is that the habit you want? Like not at all. That's not the habit you want. Y'all hear me okay? I'm trying to see what I can do. I might could put on my headphones. We can continue. Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. Cool, cool, cool, cool, cool. All right. But we gotta start making new associations in the subconscious mind. So y'all mentioned journaling. Let me see what else y'all mentioned. I see journaling, I see EFT tapping. So we gotta keep in mind what we was just talking about with the forcing yourself to the gym. Journaling is great if you do it correctly. Journaling is It's great. I don't know, Elaine, it's not my car, so we letting them have it. But journaling is great if you journaling about what you want. I used to have my clients do a lot of journaling and bringing it to me, and they bring it to me next week and I go, how you feel? They go, not good. Well, shit, for the last week you've been writing about what you don't want. Journaling is great when you're doing it in the right direction. Visualizing is great when you're doing it in the right direction. Tapping is great when you tapping away the anxiety, when you tapping away the things that's stopping you from wanting to do it. Write things in my mind or journal them down. Whichever works for you. It's an experiment. So everybody is different. I met some people, vision boards work great for them. I met some people, vision boards do nothing to move them. Like, so one thing you gotta understand is everybody is— everybody has what we call a primary system. Like, when I'm out doing entertainment hypnosis, somebody might come up to me and go, I don't feel like that shit gonna work on me, man. Oh, they don't even realize the amount of information they didn't— that they just gave me. They say, I don't feel like that shit gonna work on me. They didn't say, I don't see that working on me. They didn't say, that don't sound like it'll work on me. They say, I don't feel like that shit would work on me. Okay, you're kinesthetic. You are a feeler. Why don't you feel like it'll work on you? If it did work on you, what would it feel like? Yeah, if hypnosis worked, if hypnosis was real, what would it feel like? In order for them to answer that question, guess what they got to do? They got to go sit in the feeling of what it would feel like, and they're going to describe it to me from that feeling. I'm going to meet them there and keep them there. But if somebody said, man, I don't see that working on me. Why don't you see that working on you? What do you need to see? Tell you what, close your eyes. Now you can't see nothing. And with your eyes closed, listen to my voice. Now I done took you out of your primary system where you nice and comfortable. We finna take you on an auditory journey. That's gonna cause the subconscious to dissociate from the conscious and give us a whole other little realm we can play in. But different strokes for different folks. Like when I'm working with somebody, I usually do my initial session for 2 hours because they give me plenty of time to talk to them. I can see how they describe things. Like somebody said, I just feel like it's a weight on my back. Every time I take two steps forward, I feel like I'm being pushed three steps back. Something weighing me down. I'm just chained to this position. I'm tired of being stuck. That's a kinesthetic person. So we're gonna use kinesthetic forms of therapy. We're gonna do some kinesthetic change work. That's somebody that tapping would be really good for being able to vent that stuff out of the body. That's somebody who I probably would have writing because that's forcing the mind and the body. to play together. But if I got somebody saying, man, I just can't see my way through this thing, everywhere I look there's another problem, everywhere I look I see people against me, man, there's no opportunities out there, I, I just can't see my way out of this. That's a visual person. That's a person that a vision board would probably do a lot of good for. That's a problem that visualizing would probably do really good for. One of the questions, like, before I start to hypnotize somebody therapeutically, one of the questions that I ask them, if I ask you to imagine you were at the beach, Could you see it? Cool. Could you feel your feet in the sand? If you listen really hard, can you hear the water? And based on how they answer those questions, I'm gonna shape my approach around it. My 4D board from a while back literally spelled out F the 3rd. For sure. F the 3D. I like that. But it's about calibrating. It's about understanding what moves you. I tell you this, if you do it and you don't feel different, it didn't work. You should feel different. You should feel different. If you feel different, you made new associations in the subconscious mind. If you feel different, it's working. But I want to talk to y'all about some ways that I like to flood the— that I like to bypass the critical mind. 3D, it gotta be. So one of my favorite ways to, um, flood the critical mind is with overload. Overload. Critical mind can only hold 5 to 7 things at a time. So I love to just— I throw so much positivity at it at one time that it just can't stop. Man, I'm so lucky. I might be the luckiest man in the world. I got water, I got clothes, I got abundance, I got money in the bank, I got healthy kids, my kids at school School right now and they learning. I'm growing. I got 12 people here listening to the sound of my voice. I got everything I need to teach amazing seminars all over the world right here in this moment. I'm talking to people from all over the country. Everybody put your states in here. I'm in Dallas, Texas. Where are you guys located, man? And I'm just sharp. I've been doing this for 2 hours and I haven't ran out of things to say. This is amazing. I got eyes that work. I got a tongue that works. I got 5 senses that I did nothing for. I woke up this morning and the sun was already up. We got somebody here from New York. We got people here from Tennessee. This is amazing. This thing is really working out for me. This thing is really working out for me. It's like I can't win for losing. And another dope thing about my life is money loves it here. I love me a good rampage. I love me a good rampage. So what happened is critical mind might go, not true, not true, not true, not true. Wait, wait, wait. Oh, whoa. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Imagine having a bouncer at a club. He hit the front door, they going, nope, you can't come in. Come on in, guys. Now, hey, wait, wait, wait, man. Imagine 30 people show up at once and he's trying to stop the first one, but wait, wait, wait, while he wrestling with that one, the other 29 just rush in. So I like to do— just flood the subconscious mind. I might be the most handsome man ever. I might be the best presenter ever. You know what, I think I might be. And I just keep them coming in, coming in, coming in, coming in, coming in. But I'm using things that move me emotionally, not logically. I'm using things to change how I feel. So that's one of my favorite ways. Another one of my favorite ways is getting deeply relaxed, putting myself in a trance. But before I go into trance, I'm gonna figure out why am I going into trance. I want to go in trance and feel abundant. I want to go in trance and feel abundant. Okay. I'm gonna find something, lock my eyes on it. Right now, I'm gonna lock my eyes on that spot where the wall meets the ceiling. And I'm gonna start allowing my breathing to slow down. And I'm gonna pose myself a question. As I'm focusing on that spot, I'm gonna say, if abundance had a color, what would it be? If abundance had a color, what would it be? And another thing about the subconscious mind, it loves metaphor. It loves metaphor. It loves stories. So I'm gonna say, if subconscious mind had a color, what would it— I mean, if abundance had a color, what would it be? It'd be green. Okay. I'm gonna keep focusing on that spot. Until I feel my eyelids getting heavy. And when my eyes feel like they want to close, I'm gonna let them do what they want to do. Green for you too? We locked in. I love it. And while I'm in this super relaxed state, I'm gonna start inhaling green and imagining it run through every cell and every fiber of my body. I'm gonna start feeling that green energy spread throughout my body. You don't understand the level of associations in something that simple. I do. Is making towards your abundance. And what happens is when you do this stuff repetitiously, you start to change the way you feel. And remember, you make these associations down here, and the job of the critical mind is to generalize, distort, and delete to protect these associations. So when I got a pile of associations down here to say I'm abundant, guess what my critical mind gonna start generalizing and distorting and deleting? Lack. My critical mind is going to protect these associations. I don't fight the critical mind. I bypass it and make new associations. And the critical mind takes whatever goes on down here as true. So I just get myself feeling abundant. When I feel abundant, I think abundant on accident. I give myself feeling sexy. I don't wait on the scale to change to feel sexy. I start feeling sexy while the big number's on the scale. But when I feel sexy, I start doing sexy things. I start working out from this place of feeling sexy. You got to go first. Whatever you give the subconscious mind, it's gonna give it back to you multiplied. If you give the subconscious Mind a drop of anxiety, it's gonna hand you back pounds of anxiety. If you give the subconscious mind a drop of lack, it's gonna hand you back pounds of lack. But man, if you give the subconscious mind a drop of confidence, just a drop, you'd be surprised what it hands you back. We talked about overload. We talked about relaxing yourself to the point of opening the critical EFT is another great tool. We might do a workshop around EFT. A lot of people call it tapping. A lot of people call it tapping. Anybody got any questions? I'm gonna get ready to land in a little bit. I have a question.
