In this extensive live stream, Coach Jay (a high‑performance hypnotist) explains his philosophy that lasting behavioral change comes from reshaping the thoughts and feelings that drive actions, not from direct willpower or traditional affirmations. He outlines a three‑step hypnosis process—capturing attention, bypassing the critical mind, and stimulating the subconscious—while emphasizing the importance of reverse‑engineering the mindset of a consistent, successful person. Jay critiques common affirmations, proposing "affirmative action" (small, concrete behaviors) as a faster way to reprogram the subconscious. He discusses concepts such as the Be‑Do‑Have framework, suggestibility as a sign of intelligence, and the role of emotional charge in goal setting. Throughout, he engages with a live chat, shares personal anecdotes (e.g., quitting smoking, helping athletes), promotes his workshops, recommends books, and demonstrates sales framing techniques. The session blends instructional content, motivational storytelling, and interactive community building.

Harder than it's even worth to get your crowd back. All right, so I see self-control and building confidence in business decisions, being consistent in business and believing in self. So I'm gonna tell y'all a little bit about how I approach hypnosis and self-development and these things. We don't change behavior. What we change is the thoughts and feelings that give birth to your behavior. I'm not going to make you be consistent with we're gonna reverse engineer the thought process of a consistent person and teach you to think that way. Then consistent is going to be a side effect of this new way of thinking and feeling. A lot of hypnotists really slow themselves down by trying to like go directly for that. You don't got to go for the action. If you change the feelings, the behavior take care of itself. Think about it. When you feel pissed off, you don't got to try to act pissed off. When you feel pissed off, you'll accidentally Stomp your feet, slam the door, curse people out, raise your voice. Those are the behaviors that align with being pissed off. So I would program you to be successful. If you be successful, you accidentally do success. And as you do success, you accidentally have the results of a successful person. People skip that first step. I don't know if y'all can see this. I think YouTube can see it. I don't think y'all can on TikTok. But on this board is this thing that we call Be Do Have, and when people skip to the doing and having and they skip over that being, you you hustling backwards. How impressionable are people? Very, very, very, very. Like being impressionable, being what we call suggestible is a sign of your intellect. Like people go, I can't be hypnotized. Being intelligent, like hypnosis is a learning state. Hypnosis is a state that you go in to receive information. Now, you can— anybody can block themselves from going into that state, but it's not that you can't go into that state. Now, if you cross your arms and say, I'm not going, I'm not listening, I'm not— okay, yeah, you can't be hypnotized. But anybody who is willing to sit down and focus long enough will go into hypnosis on accident. You don't got to use willpower to go into hypnosis. And even the defense of, I'm not going, I'm not going, that's a trance. And a real talented hypnotist like myself knows what to do with that trance. to, to wire you and get you over there too. Uh, I was once hypnotized and was able to quit smoking, but I started back. Can you be hypnotized twice? Absolutely. In fact, so I tell smokers all the time, I'm gonna hypnotize you, you're gonna leave my office as a non-smoker. But you got to remember, you left your mom's body as a non-smoker. You weren't born addicted to nicotine. 9 times out of 10, the first cigarette sucked. You learned the habit of smoking. So we've hit reset, we took you back to default, but don't go out there thinking you can't relearn the habit of smoking. Don't go learn to have it again. Like, it doesn't take a hypnotist to hypnotize you. Your environment is constantly hypnotizing you. Your environment is constantly hypnotizing you. Say prove it, Nicky. I'm 20 years in the game. You better go on that YouTube channel and knock yourself out, literally. Just keep scrolling. It's, it's proof out there. Get on Google and just start typing. The proof is— the proof is here. You had to catch me when I was young and I had something to prove. These days I'm, I'm past that point. I know what I do, and people around the world know what it is. I was born on nicotine. My roommate smoked well. My mom smoked weed in the womb. Okay, what that has to do with now? You want to do— are you actively struggling with that or what? Baby shit, and he says because it's the worst smell he's ever smelled. He made your cigarette smell like baby shit, or what we talking about, Kelly? What's going on, 33? You don't smoke anymore. So see how even if you were born with it, you can—you ain't got to. It's largely about the story you telling yourself, and a lot of times people let their story write itself instead of writing their story. What's going on, Quinn? How you doing? Welcome to the live. How you doing? I love that name. Love that name. What is up? What is up? What is up? Doing well. Love to hear it, love to hear it. For people who just coming in, man, I'm Coach Jay. I'm a high-performance hypnotist. I hypnotize entrepreneurs. I work with entrepreneurs, executives, athletes. I teach people how to think. Most people don't know how to think, and it's not their fault. We were never taught how to think. We were taught to regurgitate information. We were taught to respond to cues, but most people haven't been taught How to think. What I do for my clients is I teach them how to think, and I teach them how to tell their subconscious mind what to do. So you got to understand, we got a conscious mind and we got a subconscious mind. Conscious mind, 2% of your thinking potential. I'm pretty sure you guys have all seen like that picture of that iceberg when you got this much of the iceberg above the water, but under the water you got this big mass of iceberg. And that's a good representation of your conscious mind and your subconscious mind. The top of that iceberg is your logic, your reason, your analysis, your willpower, your decision-making. It can juggle 5 to 7 things at a time. The instant it gets over that, it gets real complicated up there. But that bottom mass, that bottom mass is what we call the subconscious. And all subconscious means is below your consciousness, it's out of your conscious awareness, and that runs off of feeling and emotion. Let me keep up on these comments. I was hypnotized to be MC Hammer, but it didn't work. Got you, got you, got you. You're doing like an entertainment hypnosis or something. What's going on, D? What's going on, Lance? The bottom half of that— not even the bottom half, the bottom 98% of that iceberg Runs off feeling and emotion. The reason a lot of people do things like procrastinate, get demotivated, don't take action on goals that they've built, is because most people— well, most people don't even got goals. But even out of the small percentage of people who do have goals, most of them only set goals that speak to the top of that iceberg. You're thinking in lack mindset. How to reprogram? So step 1 to reprogramming, Ronnie, is to decide an outcome. Like, I see it so many times, some people just go, I'm reprogramming my mind. Okay, reprogramming it to what? Because you can't just reprogram it to not do this. You got to tell it exactly what you want it to do. So that's the basis. We got to get clear about, okay, you reprogramming your mind What are you reprogramming it to think? What are you reprogramming it to feel? How are you reprogramming it to act? And most people never answer that question. That's why their self-development becomes really circular, because they never define— they never said this finish line, or something vague as hell like, I want to open my third eye, I want to live on my highest timeline, I want financial freedom. What the hell does that mean? The bottom of the iceberg hears that and goes blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. What does that mean? The subconscious mind can only do what we call deductive reasoning. It can't re— it can't reason inductively, can only reason deductively. So it's a very top-down reasoning, and when you just give it that vague goal, it does nothing. So you got to do what I call emotionally charging that goal. Most people's goals aren't emotionally charged. That's why they find it easier to procrastinate than to take action, because they got a lot of emotional charge. And what if it doesn't work? What if I fail? What if they don't like— there's lots of emotional charge over there, and the nervous system is going to go toward the emotional charge. The nervous system is going to go toward the emotional charge. What daily affirmations do I suggest? I don't like affirmations. One of the first things I stop my clients from doing is affirmations. I don't like them. I have my clients do what we call affirmative action. Affirmative action. Now, there's a lot of people in the space who go, Jay, you crazy. Affirmations work. Listen, you got, you gotta learn how to listen. I never said they didn't work. I said we got shit that work better. Dial-up internet works. I don't recommend you get it. There's lots of stuff that work that just like don't recommend you getting. I'm a real big fan of what I call affirmative action. Replace those affirmations with small behaviors that show your subconscious mind you're that type of person. If you're on a weight loss journey, yeah, you could go, I am lean, I am fit, my metabolism is A1. You know what you can do? Show your subconscious mind you're the type of person that drinks water. Now, as you drinking that water, I got no problem with you going ahead and say, check me out, subconscious. You see me? You see me? I can show you better than I can tell you. Why are you wasting time if you— I, I am. I love working out. I love— stand your ass up and do 5 squats. It don't got to be nothing huge. I ain't say you had to get up and run 10 miles. Do 5 push-ups. Get up and take 100 steps. Why, why are you— imagine if we're in a relationship, I'm saying, baby, I love you, baby, I love you, baby, I love you. No gifts, no dates, no time, no planning, no, no nothing. But I'm, but I'm affirming to you that— shut up. Show your subconscious mind what type of person you are. Show it. If you— if your goal has to do with money and better financial management, you could go, I am wealthy, I am lean. Okay, shut up. Move $5 to your savings account. Move $3 to your savings account. It don't show your subconscious mind that I'm the type of person that does this. What, what are you— what are you talking for? The example I've been using a lot on the live lately— imagine you're in a relationship with somebody and this person go, baby, I would lay my life down for you. I love you so much. I would lay my life down. Wouldn't even have to think about it. Will lay my life down for you, baby. I love you so— I would lay my life down for you. I love you. I love— I would lay my life down for you. Imagine they tell you that 1 million times. One weekend y'all are out downtown, somebody puts a gun to your head. That person that loves you and will lay their life down for you, they take off running. Do those million affirmations mean anything to you? No. What happens the next time they say, "Baby, I'll lay my life down. I love you." So what happens the next time they say that to you? You gonna accidentally roll your eyes. You accidentally say you wouldn't do shit. You gonna accidentally despise like you gonna secretly go in your mind and curse them out on accident. That's your subconscious mind responding. To that, because forget what you said, I saw who you are, I saw how you behave. Now imagine you're in the opposite of that relationship. You're in a relationship with a person who has never said that before, never said that before. But one weekend, y'all downtown, somebody pulls out a gun, points it at you, and without even thinking about it, they charge at that person. They charge at that person and say, baby, run. What do you now know about your partner? Not suspect about your partner, not think about your partner. What do you know about about your partner. What's going on, John? What's going on, baby? What's going on, Bunny? You know for a fact that your partner will lay their life down for you. See how that one behavior could just bypass millions of affirmations? See how that one act can bypass millions of affirmations? So what I've realized, and I started doing this about 2, maybe 3 years ago, that was when I stopped my class. Hey, we done doing affirmations. We take affirmative action. We find it. We find little small opportunities to show our subconscious mind the type of person that we are. And transformations that used to take like 6 weeks and shit, I see those happening in 2 or 3 days now. Quickest way to reprogram the subconscious mind is to show it. is to show it. Because what oftentimes happen with the affirmations is you will be— your words would be affirming, but your nervous system and your endocrine system will be in a state of not having. Your nervous system and your endocrine system would be going, yeah, right, sure, sure, sure. The quickest way to shift state— so as hypnotists and getting into the NLP side of things, we teach this thing called state control, being able to control your state. Being able to control your state is heavily relying on controlling your thinking, controlling your physiology, and controlling your breathing. You change those 3 things, you're gonna accidentally change your state. But the quickest way to change all 3 is through a behavior. At my old office up in Washington, we used to have a real big parking lot. When I would have people who were stuck in ruts and depressed and things like that, dealing with those, I'd take them outside. Say, I want you to run to the end of this parking lot as fast as you can and run back. If you can stay depressed while you run as fast as you can, I give you this $100. I've had hundreds of people do that. Nobody can be depressed while they running as fast as they can. You know why? Because you got to go into a different state to run as fast as you can. Running as fast as you can gonna call— have— you're gonna have to put them shoulders back, pump those arms, you're gonna have to breathe, you're gonna have to move your body. And when your body is busy running, guess what? It's too busy to do be depressed. Now you could quickly shift back into that state when you done running, but when you in the state of running, the breathing, the body language, and the thinking won't allow you to be depressed because your neurology is busy doing something else. So you could sit on the couch and say, "I am lean. I am fit. I am." Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I hear you. Put those Oreos down. Get up. and do 10 squats right now, and your subconscious mind is watching it. Your subconscious mind is saying, oh wait, we the type of person that work out, we the type of person that randomly work out. Spend a week doing that and I promise you, you would be further than you would be with an entire year of affirmations. What if I say your affirmation is a heightened state of happiness, like after a compliment? What if I say your affirmations in a heightened state? You can say them, and I'm not saying they don't work, but imagine if you do something in that same heightened state of happiness. It's gonna go further. We talking about the difference between, baby, I love you so, so, so, so much, and me coming home with a dozen roses and, and a bear. Now I can still say I love you as I hand over the dozen roses and a bear, but which one do you think has the greater subconscious impact? I don't know. So keep, keep in mind what I'm saying. I didn't say they don't work. I say this shit that works better. But one of the things I do with my clients— everybody else do what you want to do, but the people who, who who paid me to coach them. I said, you done doing affirmations. Every time you think about doing that affirmation, that's your body telling you, I need to see some proof. Go out and do something. Because another thing I've noticed with affirmation, people use affirmations when they, when they don't want to do the— yeah, it's real easy to sit there and, and talk, but it's that you— it's an email that you need to send. It's a text message that you need to send. You thought, I am peace, I am peace. Apologize to your fucking sister. Apologize. Yeah, you could go in the mirror and say, I am peace, I am peace. Hey sis, we need to talk about what happened. We both said some things that we didn't mean. Are you busy? Now you just showed your nervous system. I'm the type of person that, that builds peace. I do what's necessary to maintain peace in my life, in my family dynamic. Because even if you're not doing that, you can sit there and I'm going, I am peace, I am peace. Your subconscious mind is your feminine mind. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I don't know if anybody in here has ever got into a disagreement with, with the feminine. Feminine doesn't forget anything. Just here listening, homie. I love this shit right here, man. The things I've learned in this class. What's going on, Anna Tanisha? How you doing? Welcome to the live. Welcome to the live. Have you ever had an argument with the— even feminine, the feminine, other like feminine people? My girl said all the time, she said, I, I could not I cannot date a woman, baby. I don't know how you do it. I could not— I could not date a woman. Feminine doesn't remember— doesn't forget anything. Feminine keeps score, and feminine moves off of feeling. Feeling. That's why we always talk about how your goals have to be emotionally charged. If your goal isn't emotionally charged, that means only 2% of you is motivated by the goal. Like, Let's put feminine in perspective. My girlfriend says that the food at her favorite restaurant is, eh, she doesn't go to her favorite restaurant for the food. She likes the setup, she likes the lighting, she likes the decor, and she says they have good drinks. But we would be on the way to her favorite restaurant, she was like, baby, can we stop and get some? I said, baby, we going to your favorite restaurant. Oh, I don't really like their food. Huh. The feminine moves off of feeling and emotion. And when your goal— and now even if you're masculine, and everybody is both, left side of the body is one and the right side of the body is other, and you just choose to dominate in one. But even the masculine, when you're setting goals, it has to have that emotional charge to satisfy the feminine. Imagine if me and my woman together and you invite us somewhere You invite us somewhere, and I'll be honest, when it comes to us doing stuff, she's the decision, because my favorite spot is at home. If I'm picking, we're not going anywhere. So when it comes to us out doing stuff, she is 98% of the decision maker. I'll go if she want to go, but I, I, I could care less. So if you invite us somewhere and it only appeals to me and it doesn't appeal to her at all, we not going. That's your subconscious mind with goals. Your subconscious mind is the one that's gonna say, nah, we— I'm gonna self-sabotage that. I'm gonna make sure he oversleep for that. He gonna forget to remember and remember to forget that. And most people don't even talk about the feeling and emotion behind their goal. They just set that logical goal. Can you hypnotize me to become a billionaire? Now, Chewy, you gotta know I'm gonna run them pockets that make you a billionaire. You gotta know you're gonna have to invest, but yeah, that's possible. What's going on, Charles? Chewy say, can you hypnotize me to become a billionaire? Absolutely. You gonna have to get on the schedule though. I always self-sabotage, so today I got the hell out of my way and accomplished my goals. I said I love it. Now, if you want to lock in and stay there, Ghetto, what you got to do is You got to reverse engineer how does a person who lives here think and feel. And what you do is you start— so I always tell my clients, you don't use willpower to change behavior, you use willpower to change your mind. And when you change your mind, behavior is going to take care of itself. Behavior is going— the behavior is going to follow the thoughts and feelings. Like if somebody come to me and say, hey, can you hypnotize me to quit smoking? Absolutely. But I'm not gonna go in there and say, stop smoking, that's bad for you, stop smoking, that's killing No, my job is to get them to think and feel like a nonsmoker. If they just start thinking and feeling like a nonsmoker, guess what nonsmokers don't do? Smoke. So it's not so much about like using willpower to do the goal, it's about using willpower to condition your subconscious mind to keep thinking these types of thoughts and keep feeling these types of feelings. If I feel productive, and I feel like I could do it and I feel unstoppable, it's— I'm gonna have a hard time procrastinating. That makes sense. If I feel like— if I feel like I'm the best hypnotist in the world, nobody can do what I do the way that I do it. There's other good hypnotists out there that I respect, but when it comes to me and my target audience, so nobody rock this shit over here the way that I rock this shit out here. My people need me. It's entrepreneurs out here that need me. It's executives out here who count on me, and they need me to get up and pop my shit so that they can remember who the hell they are and step out in the ground. If that's what's going in my mind, I'm gonna have a real hard time sitting in the bed and not coming and doing what I do. Greetings, chap, how you doing? Thanks for the, um, follow. What's up, Jeremy? Does that make sense? Like, you don't— not by force, not by might, but by my spirit, says the Lord of hosts. It's not by grind, it's not by sacrifice, it's not by willing and dealing. No, build the mentality of that person. Build the mentality of that person. I don't know if anybody is in here who has ever done like a two-hour deep dive with me. That two-hour deep dive is we spend the first half hour designing the mindset. We spend the second half. We spend the second hour programming the mindset. So in the front end of the process, I'm saying, "What what what do you want?" And they usually say some surface-level shit like money or. A relationship or a bit. Okay, cool. The version of you that already has that amount of money, what type of thoughts do they have? What do they focus on? What do they expect? What does their brain— what does their mind go when they not using it on purpose? Okay, I'm gonna teach you how to think and feel that way. Now, if you start thinking and feeling that way, you're gonna accidentally say yes to shit that you used to say no to. If you start thinking and feeling that way, you're gonna accidentally say no to stuff that you say yes to. You're gonna accidentally start reading different books. You're gonna accidentally start listening to different podcasts. You might accidentally join Toastmasters. You're gonna accidentally stop hanging out with some of your old friends and find you some new friends. You're gonna start moving different on that. You're gonna put your shoulders back and your chest out and your chin up on accident. You're gonna start looking people in the eyes on accident. You're gonna start shaking hands firmly on accident. I, I always feel for people when they're in a state of no having, in a state of not having, and trying to use willpower to put their shoulders back and their chest out. Now they walking like a robot at the networking event looking crazy. No, if you were already successful, what would you be thinking? What would you be believing? What would you be focusing on? What would you be expecting? What type of thoughts would you be emotionally charging? Start doing that now while the bank account still look the way it looks, while the calendar still looks the way it looks, while the marriage still looks the way it look. Change what's going on in here and in here, and everything out there has no choice but to change as a result of a shift that happened in here. What's up, Scotty Pimpin'? Thanks for the follow. I use hypnosis for a migraine one day at the work. At first I didn't believe. Now I do for sure, child. Happy rainy Thursday, Jay and everyone. What's going on? I'm loved. What's going on? What's up, ghetto? You'll be strutting. So what you got to do is you got to start strutting now. I work with a lot of athletes, right? I always tell my athletes, you don't get a trophy and then become a champion. What happens is you become a champion. You become a champion. Now understand, when you become a champion, you're gonna accidentally start walking like a champion. You will accidentally start tying your shoes like a champion. You accidentally start drinking more water because that's what champions do. You accidentally start going to bed earlier because that's what champions do. You accidentally start showing up to practice early, leaving practice late. You're gonna accidentally start holding yourself to a high standard and your teammates to a high standard. And you're gonna accidentally win a trophy because that's what champions do. But if you waiting on a trophy to say, okay, now I'm a champion, you'll never get a trophy because trophies don't make champions, champions make trophies. And when you waiting on a trophy to make you a champion, you, you hustling backwards. You gotta understand, like, the thing that you waiting on to give you permission— no, you giving yourself permission is going to create the thing. Guys, my degree is literally on the floor. I was moving into this office, it fell. The frame cracked, it fell on the floor. It's been over there on the— I don't give a damn about that paper. That paper doesn't certify me, it represents that I'm certified. This office could burn down, the books in this office can burn down. Does that decertify me because that paper's gone? No, because the paper isn't my certification. It's a representation of the fact that I'm certified. Certification is In here. The certification was a shift in me. That paper is a representation of what the naked eye can't see, but that paper is not the certification. And you got to learn to look at money the same way. The money is not what makes me rich. The money is the indicator that I am rich. It's a representation that I am rich. But I had to get rich in here before that money showed up. I didn't— the money didn't show up and then I got rich. What happened is I got rich, then the money showed up. The paper is a representation of a shift that happened in here. Does that make sense? You got to stop waiting on paper to say, okay, now— no, the paper don't make you rich. You being rich is what causes the paper to show up. You got to put shit back in order. God gave you dominion over the world. He did not give the world dominion over you. Why are you looking at the thing that you have dominion over and letting it dictate how you feel? That's out of order. And when you out of order, don't be surprised if your finances out of order and your relationship's out of order and your health is out of order, because all of it is a reflection of what's going on in here. You got to stop letting reality bully you. You're not supposed to be following reality. Reality is supposed to be following you, and reality is following you. But when you watching reality to— and letting it dictate how you feel, it just keeps creating more of the same. So now you're like a dog chasing his own tail. I was thinking and feeling broke, so I got this broke bank account. Now I'm looking at this broke bank account, letting it reinforce the fact that I am broke, and the bank account is continuing to reflect me. But I'm watching the bank account, the bank account watching me, and I'm watching the bank account, bank account watching me. So that's like me looking here in this camera and y'all saying, hey, Coach Jay, you got something on your face. And instead of wiping my face, I wipe my phone. And when I see it don't work, I wipe my phone harder. And I see it don't work, so I just keep wiping my phone. And I go get some spray and I go get some Windex and I keep spraying and wiping and spraying and wiping. Now it's starting to mess with my confidence. Now I'm sitting there and then somebody said, hey man, you, you not wiping your face. And you so aggravated and you so Down on yourself, and you so hypnotized in what I call a failure loop. You can't even hear them. They say, "Hey, you're not wiping your face." Then I am wiping my face. Shut up! You don't get it. I've been wiping this for two months now. And they say, "Hey, but you." I know, babe. If you just calm down and take a break. Will you shut up? Because you don't know anything. I've been doing this for two months. I think I would think I know better than yeah. You know how to work on the reflection, but you gotta understand that's not gonna smile until you smile. And if you wait on that to smile for you to smile, y'all just gonna. Be sitting there staring at each other. I just got my Florida State Life and Health Insurance exam today. I passed it. So funny you said, sir. That's what's up, ghetto. So what's next? What we doing with it? Rainy day but you loving it. Where y'all at? It's raining everywhere. I'm, I'm looking at the sun through my window. What's going on, KP? What's up, what's up, what's up? Yeah, where y'all at with all this rain and stuff? Is this stuff making sense though, y'all? Alabama, cool. St. Louis, okay, okay, okay. Is this stuff making sense? Building my future, I already have. I love it. What's up, Mr. Love? How you doing? Help entrepreneurs. I see people. Uh, okay, what's this? Can't check. Yeah, what is this? 10:48. Give me a second, y'all. My future. What's going on, chat? Any of my people in here that's signed up for tonight's workshop? Y'all make sure y'all do y'all homework. Do not come in there tonight without that homework. You need it. You need it. You need it. You need it. What's going on, D? What's going on, ghetto? Yep, I'm learning more to be. You study to be. Yeah. And when you be, you'll do on accident. When you be, you will do on accident. You do not got to use willpower to do. You do not have to use willpower to do. So I'm confused. I'm confused where you, you—I don't know. We'll figure it out. What's going on, Jeff? What is up? What is up? What is up? Oh, that was just okay. We already got that ironed out. Okay, cool, cool, cool. Yeah, this inbox is, uh, it's a mess. You got to— are there classes next month? Yeah, actually, while I'm sitting here right now, let me look at the calendar for the next 2 weeks and make a decision, because a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. I got way too much shit going on to be unstable in all my ways. Not one or two of my ways, but all my ways. I can't do all my ways. Give me a second, y'all. All right, so Christmas Eve is the 24th. That would be Wednesday. Hmm. Okay, so we skipping the workshop this upcoming week. No workshop. And you done with your homework? Okay, cool, cool, cool. All right, so Good, good, good. I'm proud. I feel like I feel like a proud dad when y'all show up to the workshop. Yeah, I got y'all y'all work did and stuff. I be I be so happy. I busy forgot yesterday was Wednesday. Yup. So we're not doing one next week. I'm gonna have family in town, and I already got some sessions I gotta knock out. So I already gotta take some time from now. Then I'm looking at next Wednesday and Thursday. Then it's on the 31st and the 1st, and I'm pretty sure this, this woman of mine gonna probably try her best to have me outside. So we're probably gonna take 2 weeks off from the workshop. So it looked like the next workshop is going to be January 7th. January 7th will likely be the next workshop. January 7th, for sure. But anybody who's planning on coming to the January 7th workshop Uh, we do those on Zoom. We get those off of here, create a nice small troll-free environment where we go deep. I love the workshops because unlike TikTok— on TikTok y'all gotta type and, and hope I see it, and when I get the flowing it's a pretty good chance that I won't see it. I can also share my screen. It's all types of cool stuff I could do just in the personal environment, and I can go deeper. In the workshop because people want it to be there, people invested to be there. So it just sets up a whole different learning environment with the workshop. So I'm enjoying them a lot. I'm enjoying them so much that we stayed over like an hour and 15 minutes last night. What's going on, Kill? What is up? What is up? What is up? Hey, what's up? I think next week we're gonna do it slightly different. I think I'm gonna have everybody come up at once and we're gonna move through beliefs, convictions, expectations, and the thoughts. We're gonna, we're gonna all do that together, and I think that'll make a more collaborative effort and other people be able to pitch ideas in and help people on their clarity. That's kind of a realization I had as I was re-watching our, um, Our class from last night. What's going on, Free John? How you doing? Welcome to the live, brother. Welcome, welcome, welcome. What is up? Uh, anybody, it's your first time here, I'm Coach J. I'm a high-performance hypnotist and, um, I coach bosses, man. I work with a lot of entrepreneurs, athletes, executives. I teach them how to think. I hypnotize them, but more importantly, I teach them how to hypnotize themselves. And that's what— that's where the real transformation happens. How can we join? When they're live, they're at the link in my bio. Right now they're sold out because we in the middle of one right now. It ends today, but I will at some point later today or early tomorrow make the January 7th tickets available. But right now we sold out. What's going on, Just Niecy? How you doing? Welcome to the live. Welcome to the live. And that's for— I do a small group. I let 5 people come to that group just to keep it small enough that I can get to everybody and get one-on-one with everybody. But, um, we also do one-on-one sessions. I do got one-on-one availability, but the next group not gonna be till January 7th. What's going on, Tito? What's going on, Stay Low Key? Appreciate you, Prolific. Appreciate you. So y'all, they still got this on sale. Dad Joe Dispenser, the 3-book set: Becoming Supernatural, You Are the Placebo, and, um, Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself. Usually you would spend $60 to get your hands on all 3 of those books. TikTok shop got all of them for $23. What's going on, Chief? All of them for $23. I own those books. I know I spent about $60 to get all of them. As a matter of fact, uh, here go 2 of them right here. Let me see. I paid $16.99 for You Are the Placebo. And like, I bought it used. I bought it used for $16.99, and I paid $16.99 for Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself. So I spent $32 on just these 2. I believe I let one of my clients borrow Becoming Supernatural. I don't got it in here, but I got a lot of the books that I got tagged down below. I got them in here, so we might be talking about some of these books. If y'all got questions about any of the books I got down below— so check, check this out. There are lots of books in the TikTok shop, a whole lot of books in the TikTok shop that I could have just put up there if I just wanted to add a lot of books. I sifted through those books and I only put my favorite books. I only put books that I've read, books that I've wrote on the pages. Like Think and Grow Rich, for instance. This is my original copy of Think and Grow Rich. This, this is one of my favorite books. I was actually reading Think and Grow Rich when I built my first 6-figure business. So much stuff. Like, this is the chapter on imagination. It's a little old, so I don't know if y'all can even tell that it's highlighted. It's a little faded, but this is— was one of my favorite books for a really long time. It's a good book. But the thing I noticed about books, especially when it comes to this book, this book right here— I do a lot of talking, I do a lot of events, I go a lot of places and talk about this type of stuff. What you say when you take talk to yourself? I, I'll come to you in just a second, Golden. People always say, I got the— they say, I got that book. They never say I read. I'm a hypnotist, I'm real big on words. I'm real— I hear what you're saying and I also hear what you're not saying. People always say, oh, I got that book. I very rarely hear people say, I read that book. They always say, I got that book. It's one thing to get a book, but if you're gonna get the book and put it on your shelf, or you're getting it just because it looked good on your coffee table and you want other people to see it in your house, save your money. When you buy books, read them. Read them, read them, read them, read them, read them. I'm telling you, man, everything you need to know is, is in books. What do you think of what you say when you talk to yourself? You saying like your, your self-image, or, or what exactly you, um, you're asking, Golden? What do I think about it as far as, as far as what, like giving yourself like auto suggestion, or when you do it on purpose, when you do it on accident? Oh, what do you think about what you say when you talk to yourself? I never read though. I never read though. Oh, that explains why it's in quotes. Okay, that makes sense. That makes sense. Thanks for the likes, Quinetta. What is up? What is up? What is up? What's going on, Next? How you doing, fam? What is up? Uh, let me see. I got some more of these books. In the office. Oh, that's already in this stack. It was one of y'all in here. I don't know if y'all— if y'all in here right now. I was telling somebody about this book the other day. Monsters and Magical Sticks. There's no such thing as hypnosis. Let me mirror this. Give me a second. Uh, mirror. I was telling one of y'all about this book the other day. I don't think you're gonna find it on the TikTok shop, but it's a good read. A good read. I might read this book on the live one day. Y'all like it when I read to y'all? What y'all— I want to make sure I don't just be doing what I want to do. I want to consider what y'all want before I do what I want. Oh no, you put it in quotes. I should have, I should have picked up on that. I should have picked up on that. What's going on, Supreme? Excuse me. That would be awesome. I might read it to y'all, but it's talking about how hypnosis is in everything, like at the core of everything. So when you think about it, there's really no such thing as hypnosis because hypnosis is— it's communication, it's life, it's everything. Affirmations slow you down. How? Uh, they indeed work. It's just a faster path. So it's kind of like taking the back roads versus taking the highway. I have my clients replace affirmations with what I call affirmative action. Like, I can say, I am lean, I am fit, I am lean, I am fit. But if I eat a sleeve of Oreos, that's a powerful affirmation. That, that, and that affirmation is way more powerful than anything I just said. So what I have my clients do is instead of saying, I am fit, I am lean, get you a bottle of water and show your subconscious mind you're the type of person that drinks water, a lot of water. Get up and take 100 steps. Show your subconscious mind you're the type of person that gets your steps in. You can tell your subconscious mind and that will work, or you just do a small action that moves you in the direction of what you want, and you can give your front— you can give your subconscious mind a front row seat. To, to the mindset that you wanted to develop. So now your subconscious mind is saying, oh, oh yeah, okay, we the type of person to drink water, we the type of person that do push-ups, we the type of person that do squats out of nowhere. If you got a financial goal, yeah, and you just— you can say, I am wealthy, I am wealthy, I am wealthy. You know what else you could do? You can move $5 into your savings account. You now you showing your subconscious mind financial stability is important to me. I'm responsible with my money. I make good decisions with my money. You can say, okay, hey, I'm about to get on TikTok, but before I get on TikTok, I'm gonna read a chapter in this book. Now you showing your subconscious mind I'm the type of person that puts self-development over entertainment. Like, so you can affirm, but you can Affirmative action. One behavior outweighs thousands of affirmations. Uh, be the person— uh, exactly. I'm drinking water right now for sure. Hypnotize me. Pay me, Arlo. I'm a hypnotist. You gonna— you don't walk up to a shelf and say fix me a steak, do you? Not without money in hand. I want some hypnotize me. Now if you ain't got in the live, you gonna get hypnotized because I'm a hypnotist. I've been a hypnotist for 20 years. I talk like a hypnotist. I accidentally use embedded commands and double binds, and I pace and lead, and I build anchors. I do that on accident because I'm a hypnotist, so I talk like a hypnotist. So if you just hang out in here, conversational hypnosis will happen. But yeah, if you want the experience, if you want the red carpet rolled out, you got to get on the calendar. If you want to come over here to Calibration Station, Y'all ever seen Calibration Station? Let's see, like MTV Cribs. That's where the magic happened, over there in Calibration Station. Yeah, you want to come over here to Calibration Station, you got to get on the— you got to get on the calendar, my boy. What's going on, Asia? How you doing? Welcome to the live. Welcome to the live. What's going on, D? How do I do this? Because I've gotten very close. I set my whole goal to hypnotize myself. How do you do— what is this? What's the this that you're asking? What's going on, James? What's going on, Shayna? What is up? What is up? What's going on, The Cat? Welcome back, bro. Welcome back. Welcome back. What's going on, Gilly? What is up? What is up? What is up? How do I? Okay, I read that already. What's up, Lavette? How you doing? Welcome to the live. Welcome to the live. The Way of the Superior Man is a phenomenal book. If I got any men in here and you haven't read The Way of the Superior Man, you're cheating yourself. Hypnotize myself to embed the one affirmation I have been affirming. It came through for two days. I'm doing good, Lavette. Okay, so whatever that affirmation is that you've been affirming, my first question is, does it have an emotional charge to it? If it don't got an emotional charge, throw it away. Throw it away. Don't got an emotional charge, it needs an emotional charge. It's a complete difference in I want to lose some weight. Oh yeah, you got to throw that away. Your subconscious mind don't give a damn about $1,000 a day. You, you gotta, you gotta emotionally charge that. So when I am words or when I am commanded, you gotta, you gotta add an emotional. So if I wanted to All right, so let's start from the beginning. I think you might have just came in. When I hypnotize somebody, I never go directly for behavior. My job is to create a mindset that'll make them accidentally do that behavior. So if I was working with you on that goal, first thing I would say is, if you were already the type of person that makes $1,000 a day What type of thoughts would you be thinking? What type of feelings would you be feeling? And I'm not talking about the first time you do it. How do you feel when this is your new normal? What's going on? I'll be excited. I'll be— I'll be relieved. You wouldn't be relieved the 100th time it happened. How do you feel when that's your new normal? You're making $1,000— you're making $1,000 a day and it's not a surprise. That's just you. What type of thoughts would you be thinking? What type of— so one of your beliefs might be it's easy to make money. It's so fucking— it's money every fucking where. It's harder not to make money than it is to make money. How y'all not getting no damn money? Like, so we would reverse engineer the belief system that you would have if you were already doing it, and what we do is we hypnotize that belief system into you, not that goal into you. Hypnotize the belief system that makes you the type of person to go out there and accidentally achieve the goal. I'll be thinking about shopping and that too. Okay, so yeah, and you would get descriptive because there's a lot of different areas that's gonna come from. Well, we would do a little bit, Jay. I would be shopping. What stores you would be shopping at? So I'm being Neiman Marcus. I'm gonna be over here. Okay, how does that— how does it— and how does it feel to be in these stores? Yeah, I feel unlimited. I feel like I can buy this purse, that's, that's 3 days earned. I, I don't got to sit here and overthink about it. So I feel free. I feel like I got choice in the matter. I feel independent. I feel secure. We gonna teach you how to feel that. Yeah, I feel worthy. I feel like I'm smart. I feel intelligent. Oh, we teach you how to feel that way. That's the old you, to feel anxious. And the version of you to make the $1,000 a day don't feel like— not gonna feel anxious about that purchase. You know, this should be back in the account tomorrow. Like, you— that, that's the old you. But that's how we would go about hypnotizing you to make $1,000 a day. Not by saying you do make $1,000 a day, you do make $1,000 a day, because your subconscious mind gonna sit there and say, no, I don't, no, I don't, no, I don't, no, I don't. I saw an account yesterday. No, I don't, no, I don't, no, I don't. I'm in debt, I'm in debt. So what we do is we— the subconscious mind works through what we call associations. If you got associations in your subconscious that dogs are scary, dogs are bad, when a dog walk in, you don't got to try to get nervous. You don't got to use willpower to get scared. your associations will take care of it for you. Okay, if you got association that dogs are sweet— there's no such thing as bad dogs, they're bad owners, yes, but every dog is sweet— those your associations, the meanest, most ferocious dog in the world, and you're gonna say, look at that cute dog, he's been misunderstood. We ain't got to change your behavior, we got to change the associations that operate in your subconscious mind. A lot of people skip over those associations and go right for that behavior, and they get their ass whooped and their confidence destroyed. And they go, that self-talk, that stuff don't work. I tried that. I written that. Okay, you ain't do it right though. You got, you got to take care of those thoughts and beliefs first. What's the most surprising thing you have hypnotized someone overcome? I've been doing this for 20 years, man. Quit smoking, nail biting, PTSD, athletes with performance stuff. I've seen, I've seen some everything, man. People recovering after strokes, getting back mobility and in the left side of the body, seeing all types of stuff. I wish you would do that to my ex so he would keep a job. I don't do stuff to people. I, I, you know, I co-create with people. I, I help them. I ain't gonna make no grown man want a job. He gotta want one. He got to show up motivated. That's why the hat say I, I coach bosses. I don't beg nobody. If you don't want to develop, I don't want you to develop. But now if you want to develop and you just not quite sure what to do next, I'm your guy. I'm, I'm not the hypnotherapist that's gonna wipe your, your tears and hold your hand. Like, shit, you trying to get this money or not? You trying to level up or not? You want to be the greatest or not? If you don't want to be the great, I don't even want to work with you. I ain't even gonna— if I gotta make you want it, I gotta hypnotize you to want it, then hypnotize you to get it, I'm okay. Have you had a client where hypnosis doesn't work? Hypnosis always works, always works. While I'm biting my nails. So every time— so keep biting your nails, Golden, but as you bite your nails, I want you to listen to what I'm about to say. Like, give me a thumbs up when you start back biting them. What's going on, Corrupt? What's going on, Lisa? Yeah, I want you to bite your nails as I just tell you something real quick. What's going on, Hillary? All right, cool. That's some disgusting people in this world. In this very office building I was in, I was in the bathroom earlier today. This man took a shit and walked right out of there and didn't wash his hands, and I had to go touch that same door handle that he touched to leave that bathroom. I had to touch that door handle. Now I grabbed a paper towel to open it and leave out. What if I didn't see him not wash his hands? But what if I didn't see him not wash his hand? And it's so weird because I'm like, bro, do you know I can see you? I can see you not washing your hands. I can— if you that nasty when people watching, I can only imagine how nasty you are when nobody is around. I'll just think about the amount of people that touch gas pumps and touch money, how long money has been around and been in circulation. I'll just think about that. I'll just think about being in Walmart, being in Target, the amount of touching the cart, touching the peanut butter. And kids, kids, kids are so disgusting. I don't eat anything out of my kid— if I'm eating something, one of my kids touch it, it's theirs now. I do not— I do not trust toddler I don't trust preteens' hands. I don't trust Cena. I don't trust no hands. But I want you to think about that as you, as you keep chewing on them nails. And every time you chew, every time you go to put your hand towards your mouth, I just want you to think about that. The amount of people who are just purely disgusting. And it's cold season and it's flu season and It's insane. But this grown-ass man walked out that bathroom without washing his hands. Of a new way to grow. Shout out, especially little boys are the worst. Little boys are the worst. What's going on, Rusty? My wife get mad when I say it, but I say, I say little boys, little boys are stupid. She like, wait, why you say— I'm like, men are stupid too. Like, I, I can say it because I was— I know because I was a little boy. I'm a man. We stupid too. Women give us way too much credit. We not that smart. Quit expecting me to figure shit out. Just, just tell me. I mean, you do teach them, but they still— they kids. They don't got a frontal lobe. They retain at their own pace. Oh yeah, I hypnotize my wife all the time, Nikki. She returned the favor too. Absolutely. She wouldn't be my wife if I couldn't hypnotize. I wouldn't be her husband if she couldn't hypnotize me back. I ain't gonna marry nobody who can't hypnotize me. That's, that's insane. What's going on, Angel? And if I start hypnotizing her, I want to look good. If I start hypnotizing, there's another man waiting to hypnotize Yeah, yeah, I'm hypnotized. That woman ain't gonna sit out here unhypnotized so somebody else can hypnotize her. Hell no. Matter of fact, let me text my wife. Hold on real quick. Thank you for reminding me. Oh no, y'all, y'all got— so you got to put it to him like this. He wants to be hypnotized. Without hypnosis, ain't nothing getting hard, ain't nothing getting wet. Let's talk about what hypnosis is. When I'm hypnotizing somebody, I'm running up in my mind, it's, uh, it's a 3-step process. Oh, see, I just opened my inbox. My wife done already hypnotized me. She already hypnotized me. Give me a second, let me respond back to my little hypnotist over here. For sure. So what was I about to say? I remember one time my homeboy Zach, he said, hey Jay, like, bro, I started doing hypnosis when I was 14, so by the time I was like 19, 20, I was really good at hypnosis. My homeboy say Jay, you ever use hypnosis to, um, to like get women to have, you know, to have intercourse? I say, hey Zach, please tell me you're not out here having sex with women without doing hypnosis. That's the definition of sexual assault. Like going on dates and foreplay, that's what we call a hypnotic induction. Building energy and passing stuff back and forth and Building trust and rapport and pacing and leading and flirting a little bit and said, okay, she took that, okay, oh, let me— okay, let me push. If you do the other stuff without doing that part first, you're not the type of person I want to be friends with, man. You hypnotize your partner or they wouldn't be your partner. Let's talk about what I'm doing when I hypnotize somebody. It's a 3-step process: ABS. Step number 1, get their attention. Gotta get their attention. That's step number 1. Step number 2, bypass the critical mind. You got to get past the critical mind and get them in that emotional feeling mind. You got to get to the bottom of the iceberg, not the top. Nothing happens up there. Well, I ain't gonna say nothing happens up there, but influence doesn't happen out there. It happens in the bottom of the iceberg. Step number 3, stimulate the subconscious. Stimulate the subconscious. That's what I'm doing. I don't care if you come here to get hypnotized to quit smoking, hypnotized to be more confident, hypnotized to overcome imposter syndrome. I don't care what you come in here for. Get your attention, bypass the critical mind, stimulate the subconscious. But guess what? If somebody offends you, guess what they just did? They just got your attention. They just bypassed your critical mind. They just stimulated your subconscious. Guess what? If you go to a comedy show, he tells a joke and you laugh, guess what? He got your attention. Bypass your critical mind, stimulated your subconscious. If somebody gives you a compliment, that color look good on you, you say, ah, thank you, appreciate you. Guess what they just did? Got your attention, bypass your critical mind, stimulated your subconscious. You getting hypnotized all day long. What you got to start doing is get hypnotized on purpose. You got to start getting decisive about what I'm gonna give my attention to, what I'm allowed to bypass my critical mind, and what I'm going to allow to stimulate my subconscious. Because the fact of the matter is you're going to get hypnotized by something. What's going on, Seal? You're going to get hypnotized by something. Your job is to say, I'm going to get hypnotized by the success of my business. I'm going to get hypnotized by this woman that I lay next to every night. I'm gonna get hypnotized by these kids. That one needs braces. I need to put in a few more hours at the office. I'm going to get hypnotized by this, this, this, this, and this. And I'm gonna be so hypnotized by these 4 or 5 things that I ain't got no neurology left for nothing else. I ain't got no attention left for something else— I mean, for anything else. That's what I make my clients do. I explained to them what hypnosis is and how it's happening every day in every room they step in. What's up, Seal? In every show they watch and every song they listen to and every billboard they pass by. Now, people don't understand, people like me help lay out and design stores, man. Hey, these damn ass lights gotta go. That's not gonna work. All right. Hey, why are you putting that sweet ass fruity candy on the top shelf? You want to put that candy— yeah, you want that eye level with the children. You want those mints and that gum and that chocolate, you want that eye level with the adults. What's good, B? What you been up to? Yeah, those Cokes. Yeah, we gonna give them away. Yeah, we're gonna let them get the whole 12-pack for $2.49. What I want to do is put that shit all the way in the back of the store. So in order to go get those really cheap drinks, they got to pass by thousands of dollars worth of product. Trust me, it's gonna work. People go, I can't be hypnotized. I don't do Walmart, I like Target. I know, I know you do, but you can't be hypnotized self. Take your smart cell phone in there. What's going on, C? Yes, you can. You're being hypnotized every day. You got to stop being delusional and start getting hypnotized. Hypnotized on purpose. You're responding to post-hypnotic suggestions all day long. What's a post-hypnotic suggestion? If I'm working with somebody on confidence, when I got them in trance, I might say something like, every time you walk through a door, you accidentally find yourself rolling your shoulders back, putting your chest out, and putting your chin up because you are a confident man, and that's how confident men walk in the rooms. Nod your head if you understand. That just gave you a post-hypnotic suggestion. You just go get what you want and get out. I got you, but you still being influenced. You always being influenced by something. And the people who say, I'm not, I'm not being influenced, they are the easiest people to influence because you're gonna have a hard time defending what you won't even admit exists. That we call that cognitive dissonance, and, and that's a, that's a hypnotist's playground. I have to return anything they can't get me. For reals, for sure. Upset. Oh yeah, upsells, definitely. Even when you like talented salesmen. So let's say I got 3 books I want to sell you. People gonna say that's not hypnosis. I'm a hypnotist, been doing it for 20 years. I'm telling you, this shit is hypnosis. Let's say I got these 3 books. Let's say for the sake of discussion, this one's $3. This one $5, this one $7. So we got good, better, and we got best, right? So I might get you sold. I'm gonna say, so this one $3, man, this one $5, this one $7. This is our top of the line. This will get you what you need, not as quickly as this. And it's gonna, you know, help you start to open the door. And you say, well, man, you know what, I'm a little tight on cash, I'm gonna just take the $3. I'm gonna say, hey, the $3, it's a good choice to start. If I was starting, that'll be a good start. But at the same time, man, another $2 gonna get you right in the middle. Because what's gonna happen is you're gonna spend the $3, you're gonna have to come back and get this one anyway. So now another $2 gonna put you right here in the middle, man. You're gonna let $2 stop you from getting in the middle? I'm not selling the $5, I'm selling the gap between this and this. So now you're saying, damn, it's only $2, take a whole step up. Yeah, you're right, man, I'm gonna go ahead and take that one. Well, man, now that you done put it like that Another $2, you're gonna have the, the best one. You're gonna let $2 stop you from having the best? I'm not talking about the $7 that you finished. I'm talking about the $2 between this one and this one. My first order be: I don't expect them to feel blissful. I'm gonna take them from depressed. I can't do anything right. I'm gonna piss them the fuck off. I'm gonna piss them off. Now, is pissed off where I want them? Nope. But I just took them from here to here. Now from pissed off, I'm gonna take them to blame. Right now they pissed off at the world. I'm gonna get them to point that blame at a specific person. Man, who did this to you? Oh, it was your mom. Yeah, she ain't never really give you the attention you need. Yeah, I see that, man. Tell me more about that. We're gonna say that blame, and we might go from blame and anger to sad. Let's stop back down to sad. But if I can move, if as I start sliding those emotions I'ma sneak— I'ma sneak hope in there. I'ma, I'ma, I'ma, I'ma sneak potential in there, and we gonna start just shifting. That, that, that's hypnosis. That's hypnosis. You gonna see a comedian, I guarantee you, a big-name comedian, he gonna send somebody else out there to warm you up.
