Coach Jay, a clinical hypnotist, teaches how to build a new identity through visualization and feeling rather than willpower. He argues every problem is a thinking problem, and by deliberately imagining yourself as the person you want to be, your behaviors automatically align. Spend five minutes daily thinking on purpose and let the outcomes follow.

Talking about the fact that you could be, do, and have anything you desire. Was talking about the fact that nothing can stop you except for you, and your only limit in life is your own imagination. If you could think it, you could do it. If you can't think it, I don't know why you would expect to do it. Go sit down somewhere. But while you're sitting down somewhere, perfect opportunity for you to start thinking on purpose. Perfect opportunity for you to start using your mind on purpose. If you use your mind on purpose, you will accomplish some really cool stuff on accident. You start using your imagination on purpose. If you stop letting your expectations build themselves and you start building your expectations, you will accomplish some really cool stuff on accident. Ain't nothing you can't be. Ain't nothing you can't do. Ain't nothing you can't have. Your only limit in this world is your own imagination. If you could think it, you could do it. If you can feel it, you'll do it on accident. If you could think it, you could do it. If you can feel it, you'll do it on accident. You'll do it on accident. Think about it. When you feel upset, when you feel upset, won't you accidentally do upset? You'll accidentally stomp your feet. You'll accidentally slam the door. You accidentally raise your voice when you feel upset. Same thing happens when you give yourself permission to feel successful. You accidentally start reading books that successful people read. You accidentally start listening to podcasts that successful people listen to. Same thing happens when you give yourself permission to feel rich. You accidentally start handling your money different. You accidentally start saying yes to stuff that you used to say no to and no to stuff that you used to say yes to. You could be, do, and have anything. What's going on, Self-Love? I've been good. Family doing good. Kids getting ready to be out of school for the summer. Over here on TikTok— I'm not on TikTok, on YouTube, running through the streets a little bit. About to start experimenting with, um, streaming over here, just seeing how it go. How the rest of y'all doing, man? If it's your first time meeting me, I'm Coach Jay. I'm a high-performance hypnotist. I work with a lot of athletes, entrepreneurs, executives, founders, day traders, MMA fighters, you name it. Help them overcome things like imposter syndrome, second-guessing themselves, procrastination, anxiety, burnout, overthinking, you name it. It's a thinking problem. I'm a big believer that every problem is a thinking problem. If you could think it, you could do it. If you can't think it, go sit down. Go sit down. You gonna have a hard time doing something you can't even think. You gonna have a hard time winning out there if you ain't even learned how to win in here. You gonna have a hard time building wealth out there if you ain't even learned how to build wealth in here. You gotta hold it in your head before you can hold it in your hands. You have to hold it in your head before you can hold it in your hands. If you're somebody who's chasing something out there That you haven't yet created in here, I feel sorry for you, man. Sit down, sit down, sit down and go inside of your mind and build it in your mind. You got to start thinking. You got to start asking yourself, what do I want? What do I desire? Since I am a creator, since I am made in the image of God and I can literally be, do, and have anything that I desire, what do I desire? And you got to start spending time with your desires. You got to start getting in your mind and imagining your desires. Now, as you imagine your desires, some good ideas are gonna find you. Some opportunities are gonna find you. There is nothing you can't be. There is nothing you can't do. There's nothing you can't have. Your only limit is you. If you can imagine it, you could do it. If you can't imagine it, you're gonna have a hard time doing it. You have a hard time doing it. Your mom didn't allow you to skip the exam. Sorry, X-Man, you got to go ahead and take that L on the chin, bro. It'll make you better in the long run. Take it on the chin, man. Ain't nothing you can't be, ain't nothing you can't do, ain't nothing you can't have. Your only limit in life is your own imagination. Your only limit in life is your own imagination. If you start using your imagination on purpose, you will accomplish some real cool stuff on accident. If you start using your imagination on purpose, your imagination affects your body language. Your imagination affects the resting bitch face. Your imagination will fix the way you shake hands, will fix the way you walk into the room. You don't got to control your body. You got to control your imagination. You got to control that internal dialogue. You got to control that story that you're telling yourself. You trying to make yourself be confident out here. You got to understand that confidence is a result of what's happening in here. Confidence is not something that you make happen. Confidence is something that happens when you start pointing your imagination in the right direction, when you start pointing your expectations in the right direction, when you start describing yourself to yourself in a way that excites you. Confidence is the byproduct of that. When you have expectations that excite you, confidence is the byproduct of that. And you got to learn how to build from that place. Study from that place, research from that place, gather your resources from that place. Don't wait on a result and then step into that identity. Step into that identity and you build that result from within that identity. Identity is, is a secret weapon that most people aren't realizing. You got to understand that real high performers don't run off of discipline. They don't run off of willpower. I'm not saying they don't have discipline. I'm not saying they don't have willpower. That's not what they run off of. That's not what's fueling the system. What's fueling the system is identity. You got to understand, when you look at somebody like Kobe Bryant, Kobe Bryant wasn't using willpower to get out of his bed at 4 a.m. and go to the gym. Kobe Bryant had an identity that staying in bed felt like suffocating. You see the difference? He's not using willpower to make himself go to the gym. He couldn't imagine a world where he wasn't going to the gym. Not going to the gym feels like letting his family down, feels like letting his teammates down, feels like letting the city of LA down. It's not how do I make myself go to the gym, it's who— what, what if I was already the type of person that loved going to the gym, what would be the thoughts fueling that love for the gym? If I was already the type of person who couldn't wait to get there and put my work in and put my reps in, what would be the belief architecture that was fueling that? And when you learn how to build, when you learn how to architect that internal dialogue, that belief architecture, that somatic identity, oh man, it's a shortcut. You stop being controlled by numbers, you stop being controlled by outcomes, and you're controlling by— you're being controlled by this system that you orchestrate. You're being controlled by this belief architecture that you handpick. And that's what we do over here, man. All right. I'm real big on building the belief architecture that won't allow you to procrastinate. People coach Jay, how do I stop procrastinating? We could work on helping you to stop procrastinating, or we could build an identity that wouldn't allow you to procrastinate. If you was the type of person that couldn't procrastinate, what would be the belief architecture behind that? What would be the beliefs responsible for your inability to procrastinate? What would be the the belief system behind your inability to second guess yourself? And that's what I put the work into. Ain't nothing you can't be, ain't nothing you can't do, ain't nothing you can't have. Your only limit is you. When you look in the mirror, you're looking at your only limit. You don't have a limit outside of the mirror. The economy can't stop you. ADD can't stop you. ADHD can't stop you. Getting laid off, getting divorced, getting separated, a diagnosis— nothing can stop you. It's all sorts of things that can distract you. It can hijack your focus and your creative energy, but it didn't stop you. That's just what you had your attention on when you quit. You got to start using your attention on purpose. You got to understand that everything that happens out there is a suggestion. It's not an order. It's a suggestion. Somebody telling you about a recession, somebody telling you that the market is oversaturated and this industry isn't— that's a suggestion. You got to stop accepting every suggestion that's handed to you. You got to start treating suggestions like the suggestions that they are. They're not orders. They're not commands. Failure is a suggestion. It's a suggestion. Stop taking the suggestions. Put your shoulders back. Put your chest out. Put your chin up and show up the next day. Stop giving up on yourself. I was coaching a lady not too long ago, and she was telling me how she's tired of starting over. I say, "Well, you know what you got to do if you're tired of starting over, right?" She goes, "What?" I said, "You got to stop quitting." That's that's the only that's the only way to stop having to start over. You got to stop quitting. You got to keep showing up. You gotta stop breaking and take breaks. Take breaks, but don't break. You gotta come back. You gotta get in your mind. You gotta use this on purpose, man. You gotta understand the power of this. If you use this on purpose, man, you will accomplish some real cool stuff on accident. If you use your head on purpose, you accidentally control the rest of your body. You'll accidentally show up at the right place at the right time, saying the right stuff to the right people. You accidentally come up with some good business ideas. You accidentally stumble into some good opportunities. But it's you gotta be using your mind on purpose, man. Ain't nothing you can't be. Ain't nothing you can't do. Ain't nothing you can't have. Every problem is a thinking problem. Every problem is a thinking problem. Coach, yeah, I got a money problem. You gotta think different. Coach, yeah, I got a credit problem. You gotta think different. Coach, yeah, I got this health problem. You gotta think different. If you change the way you think, the behavior will take care of itself. Stop working on it out there. Stop working on the problem out there and work on the thinking that created the problem in here. You gotta reframe it. You gotta rearrange it. You gotta get from under the influence of what you want and get under the influence of what you do want. You gotta stop making decisions based on what you don't want to happen and start making your decisions from a place of what do I want to see. You gotta stop trying to tear down problems and start building solutions. Every problem has an equal opposite called a solution. Every problem has an equal opposite All the solution. You got to stop trying to destroy the problem, and you got to start building the solution. The energy that you using to to destroy the problem is the exact energy you need to build the solution. Who would I be if I already had that result? Who would I be if I already had that result? New people just sliding in. I'm Coach Jay. I'm a high performance hypnotist. I hypnotize athletes, entrepreneurs, executives, founders. Day traders, MMA fighters, poker players, you name it, man. Overcome things like imposter syndrome, second-guessing themselves, procrastination, anxiety, burnout, overthinking, childhood trauma, all types of stuff, man. Coach Jay, I want to be able to stand on stages and command rooms. Coach Jay, I know I should be going live, I know I should be posting on YouTube, but I just get so nervous. You don't got— that doesn't have to be your reality. You don't have to be an overthinker. You don't have to play small. You don't have to be afraid of public speaking. You have a way out. You got to change what's going on in here. Change it. You got to understand that the way that you feel, the way that you show up, the results that you get, they don't come out of thin air. They are a direct result of how you think and feel. They are a direct result of your identity. And if we just build you a new identity, if we just recalibrate your somatic identity, if we just recalibrate your belief identity, if we just recalibrate your temporal identity, you're going to accidentally get some new results. But no amount of willpower is going to get you new results from in the same identity that created the original problem. You gotta architect the new you. You gotta ask yourself, who would I be if I already had that result? Who would I be if I already had that result? How would I think? How would I feel? How would I believe? How would I expect? What would be my convictions? What would be the story I told myself? How would I walk in the rooms? What would I expect as I walked into those rooms? And you got to start practicing that expectation. You got to start practicing that story. You got to start practicing that narrative. And as you live from there, oh man, as you live from there, some amazing things are gonna happen for you. Some amazing things are gonna happen for you. There is nothing you can't be. There's nothing you can't do. There's nothing you can't have. The only limit in life is your own imagination. Your only limit in life is your own imagination. And if you just master that imagination, you just master that imagination, man. It's such a powerful tool. Stop trying to use willpower to control your behavior. Use that willpower to control that imagination. Use that willpower to control what's going on in here. Use that willpower to control that internal dialogue. What's going on, Runnette? And if you just start controlling this, I'm telling you, man, you accidentally accomplish some really cool stuff. Oh, you're chilling, man? Getting the TikTok—not the TikTok—getting the YouTube live going, man. We've been doing a lot of streaming on TikTok, and I say, you know what? So now we finna be on YouTube. We got we got another set of names to remember. Y'all y'all get real creative with these names too. Appreciate you, appreciate you, man. Appreciate you. New people who just coming in, man, say something, introduce yourself. I think we're about to start going live on here a lot, man. We got to get over here and build a following so we can have some energy when we come over here. But, uh, I think we— no, not even I think we can. We— I know a month of consistency will turn into something amazing. So I might just start doing 30 minutes a day, 45 minutes a day. After the TikTok lives, I might even just put up two um two devices and just get them both knocked out at the same time. Yeah, man. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. My name is Moses. I'm from London. Recently got divorced, and now I live in a fucking camper van. Sound like you in a season of rebuilding, man. Sound like you in a season of rebuilding. And the dope thing about a rebuilding season is you get to decide what the fuck you build. A lot of times we, you know, got the wife, you got the kids, you got the business, you don't got— you— there's so much stuff that you just gotta do that you don't get that time to sit down and say, what do I want to do? Sound like you in a period of life where you might got some of that time to decide what, what life gonna look like a year from now, man. What's next after the camper van? Ain't no such thing as failure, it's all feedback. Take the feedback and build something you proud of, man. I'm excited for you. I know you probably saying, man, you excited for— I'm in a damn camper van. Yes sir, I'm excited for you, man. I done been— I ain't been in a camper van exactly, but I done been in a camper van season more than once, and all— it always was something amazing that came out on the other side of that camper van, man. So even inside of that camper van, put your fucking shoulders back, put your chest out, put your chin up, and get excited about what's to come. Because the dope thing is you get that— you get to decide. You get to decide how long you gonna be in the camper van, where you going next after the camper van. Still 6 days a week doing security. I can't— I don't even— Yes, you do got time. You always got time to think shit. If you got to choose between having time to think and being in here to kick it with me, I love your company, but ain't nothing more important than time to get clear about what you want. Not what you think is possible, not, not what you believe you got. What do you want? And start thinking in that direction. As you start thinking of that direction, as you start thinking in that direction, some real good ideas gonna find you. Some people, some circumstances, some opportunities gonna find you. You're gonna find yourself accidentally saying the right stuff to the right people at the right time. I'm telling you, man, don't, don't you fall into that narrative of I ain't got time to— yes, you do got time to think. I don't care what you got to sacrifice, you find 5 minutes a day to think on purpose. I don't care if you got to go fake poop at work. You find 5 minutes a day to start thinking on purpose. And as you see the benefit of just taking 5 minutes a day to think on purpose, you're gonna accidentally find 10, 20, 30. Start thinking on purpose, man. What's going on, TT Dumper? How you doing? You see, we over here on YouTube. I told y'all I was coming over here. You get on people's lives to clear your head? Okay, do that too, but start being a little selfish with just a little bit of that time. Start thinking, time to figure out What's my next move? What's next for me? What's my top priority in this season of my life? Don't just, man, don't give your way. Don't don't give your life away to twelve-hour shifts. I'm not saying go quit your job. Do what you got to do. Put food on the table. Keep money coming in. But you gotta start spending some of the time just asking like, what do I want? I know what I got to do right now to get through this season that I'm in. But what do I want? What do I want? Being a master communicator, for sure. For sure, that's what I do. I'm a hypnotist, but that's all a hypnotist is, is a master communicator. That's all a hypnotist is, is a master communicator. New people who just rolling in, man, I'm Coach Jay. I'm a high-performance hypnotist. I work with athletes, entrepreneurs, executives, founders, day traders, MMA fighters, you name it, man. Help people overcome things like imposter syndrome, second-guessing themselves, procrastination, overthinking, burnout. Coach Jay, I want to quit smoking. Coach Jay, I, I have to do this presentation at work and I'm afraid to public speak. It's a thinking problem. Shift the way you think. Shift the way you think. All the problems cease to exist. For sure, for sure. But you gotta like take that help and like you take that motivation, but you, you gotta use it to, to build something, man. For sure, for sure. Get, get in here, get charged up. But at some point, like once you get charged up, you got to say, okay, what I'm gonna do with this charge? You like, hey Coach J, thank you for you know pumping me up and getting me feeling like I can run through a brick wall. Then you got to go run through the damn brick wall. What good is feeling like you can run through a wall if the wall still in front of you? And I'm not saying you do, you doing it. I just want to make sure you're not, man. You'll be surprised what can happen in ninety days. You'll be surprised what happened in forty-five days. Thinking on purpose, man. If you bold enough to start thinking on purpose, I'm telling you, you're gonna accidentally accomplish some real cool stuff. Set you some goals out in front of you. Set you some goals out in front of you. Get you a finish line out in front of you. Put you a target out in front of you. The Bible says clear as day, without a vision the people perish. Don't you dare walk through life without a vision. That's asking to perish. Who would ask to perish? That's crazy. If you want to perish, say me. Who wants to perish? God didn't told you as clear as day. Well, you better get a vision. If you don't want to perish, you better get a vision. If you don't want to perish, you better get a vision. Get a vision. Your camper van is not the rest of your life. That's this season of your life. I'm in a camper van now, and I'm okay with it. I'm okay with it. I'm comfortable here. I got a roof over my head. I got shelter. But this is not where I'm at six months from now. This is not where I'm at a year from now. This is not where I'm at two years from now. I don't know your timeline, but you better build it, man. Appreciate you, man. Welcome to the family. Thanks for subscribing. Thanks for subscribing. I'm thinking I'm gonna start going live on here once a day at least. I love streaming, man. Streaming does something to me. It excites me. So TikTok been getting all of that time, but I think I'm gonna start splitting that time between TikTok. And YouTube so we can start doing more over here, man. So we can start doing more over here. I see the little stuff popping up on the screen. Appreciate y'all, man. What other buttons they got over there? I'm still learning about TikTok. I keep saying TikTok. I'm still learning about YouTube streaming. So what other buttons they got over there? Stick to YouTube, you get the real people. I, I know it'd be a lot of trolls over here, but we ain't scared of trolls. We We we could play to do. We could we could play too, but I'm gonna try it out for a month, man. I'm gonna give it thirty days and see what happened in the thirty days. TikTok has been um really effective with our branding and our growth. We're live streaming over there, so we gonna see what Tik what um YouTube got to offer, man. Yeah, we love growth. We love expansion, and I want to get this message in front of as many people as possible. Ain't nothing you can't be. Ain't nothing you can't do. Ain't nothing you can't have. Your only limit in life is your own imagination. If you could think it, you could do it. If you could think it, you could do it. Now the flip side of that is, if you can't think it, you can't do it. Why would you be able to? Why would you expect to be able to do something that you can't even think? I'm telling you, man. If you start using your mind on purpose, if you start imagining on purpose, you gonna accidentally accomplish some real cool stuff, man. You're gonna accidentally accomplish some real cool stuff. Your only limit in life is your own imagination, man. Nothing can stop you. Divorce can't stop you. Disease can't stop you. Diagnosis can't stop you. ADD can't stop you. ADHD can't stop you. Depression, overthinking— I just got laid off, I just broke my arm, Coach Jay, my husband walked out on me after 40 years— nothing can stop you. It could distract you. But it can't stop you. It can hurt your feelings, but it can't stop you. It could piss you off, but it can't stop you. It can make you sad, but it can't stop you. It didn't stop you. That's just what had your attention when you quit. That's just what captured your your your attention and your creative forces. You just hit it zero zero four. If it's air in your lungs, that's all the permission you need to be great, man. Air in your lungs. A heart is beating. If that heart's still beating, it's time, man. It's time. I don't think anybody ends up in this room on accident. If you under the sound of my voice, God wants you to know that ain't nothing you could be, ain't nothing you can't do, ain't nothing you can have. If you could think it, you could do it. God sent you here for that reminder. You can keep hanging out with us. I appreciate it if you do, but that's what God wanted you to hear. You could be anything, you could do anything, you can have anything. You have no limits. The only limits that you have are limits that you imposed on yourself. The instant you quit imposing that limit on yourself, it ceases to exist. The instant you quit telling that story about I can have this and I can't have that, that's not for me, that's for me— instant you stop telling the story, it loses its hold on you. That's what I do as a hypnotist. Like, people gotta understand, when somebody say, Jay, can you hypnotize me to quit smoking? I don't make them quit smoking as nearly as much as I change the way they feel about cigarettes. I tell my clients all the time, I don't care about your behavior. Your behavior is not my business. I don't got to care about your behavior because what I've found is if I just change the way you feel, you'll accidentally behave different. If I change the way you feel, you will change your behavior all on your own. Think about it. When you feel upset, when you feel pissed off, Won't you accidentally slam the door? Won't you accidentally stomp your feet and raise your voice and yell at people when you feel upset? You see how your behavior follows your feelings? See how they link together? When you feel sleepy, won't you accidentally go lay down and go to sleep when you feel tired? Nobody has to make you sit down when you feel tired. Your behavior follows your feelings. Give yourself permission to feel successful. Give yourself permission to feel rich right now. As you sit in that feeling, you're going to accidentally start to think different. When you feel different, you accidentally think different. When you get those feelings moving different and those thoughts moving different, new behavior has no choice but to show up. Give yourself permission to feel successful. Give yourself permission to feel resourceful. Give yourself permission to feel like the type of person that things work out for. Start watching things that add to that feeling. Start reading things that add to those feelings. Start listening to things that add to those feelings. Make your top priority feeling like the type of person to get the type of results out of your life that you want out of life. Make that your top priority. I'm telling you, make that your top priority. And as you get inside of that feeling, there's some good ideas over there waiting for you. There's some good opportunities over there waiting for you. This might be a business partner over there waiting for you. It might be a romantic partner over there waiting for you. It's some, it's some amazing stuff. But the feeling is the doorway. If you don't access the feeling, all of it is invisible to you. All of it is invisible to you, man. Neville Goddard was not lying to you when he said feeling is the secret. Neville Goddard was not lying when he said feeling is the secret. Everything that you desire is on the other side of a new feeling. You got to go ahead and step into that feeling. You got to start using your creative genius on purpose. You got to stop giving all of your creative genius to CNN, MSNBC, YouTube, and TikTok. You got to stop letting things outside of you tell you how to feel, and you got to start deciding how you want to feel. How do I want to feel? Since I am a creator, since I got direct control over my nervous system, how do I want to feel? I tell younger hypnotists all the time, how the hell do you expect to control somebody outside of you if you can't even control you from inside of you? If you can't talk you out of a funk, if you can't get your shoulders back, your chest out, and your chin up, how do you expect to make somebody quit smoking? How do you expect to make somebody be confident? You got to be able to control you. You got to be able to tell your thoughts what to think. You got to be able to tell your feelings what to feel. You got to be able to tell your expectations where to go. You got to get real good at that internal dialogue. You got to get real good at that voice in your head. And sometimes you just got to tell that voice in your head to shut the Fuck up. Sometimes you just got to get crystal clear that that voice is not me. That voice works for me, and sometimes you got to treat that that voice like an employee. Stop letting your mind bully you. Stop letting your circumstances bully you. Stop letting your bank account, your credit score. Stop letting anything bully you. You are a creator. You're God's highest form of creation. You could be doing have anything. Thank you very much. I just subscribed. I just need to get back to work. For sure, man. Come back and kick it with us sometime. Have an amazing day. Use that mind on purpose. Use that mind on purpose. Even as you securing that perimeter, use your mind on purpose. Make a plan for your life. Make it, make it something that excites you. That, that's the only way it's gonna work. It don't work if you just pick something. Pick something that excites you. Pick something that makes you smile on accident. Pick something that wouldn't allow you to procrastinate. Something you so passionate about. Something that lights you up, something that charges you up. Pick something, man. I'm telling you, I'm telling you, man, you will accidentally discover some stuff about yourself. And the craziest part is you're gonna be like, I could have did this years ago. I could have did this— excuse me— years ago. Start using your mind on purpose, man. Let's see, we had a few new people come in. Where y'all tapping in from? Say something. Don't just— excuse
