Being misunderstood used to bother me until I realized what was really going on. I used to shrink myself down every time somebody misunderstood me. I'd overexplain, overjustify, make myself smaller so other people could feel more comfortable. Here's what I learned. Being misunderstood isn't a problem. It's just what happens when you walk in a vision that people haven't caught up to yet. Your clarity will always feel confusing to someone stuck in survival mode. You being calm will feel threatening to someone who's living in chaos, and your bigness will always trigger people who've built their identity around playing small. So these days, I let them misunderstand me because I'm not here to be digestible. I'm here to be disruptive. And the ones who get it, they don't need the explanation because they feel the frequency. You're not here to be liked. You're here to be aligned. I'm Coach Jay, and I coach bosses. Tap in for more high-frequency mindset work. If you really want to get busy, book a session.
