Coach Jay Shaw uses clinical hypnosis and a system called the 5 C's to argue that problems are thinking problems. Your subconscious mind runs 98% of your mental activity on emotion and memory, while your conscious mind handles just 2% with logic. He teaches reprogramming techniques like affirmations, visualization, and journaling to align your subconscious with written goals.

What's good? What's good? What's good? Welcome to the live. Welcome to the live. Life doesn't have to be hard, y'all. This thing could be a lot simpler than we make it. We're gonna talk about it. We're gonna talk about it. We're gonna talk about how to take the thoughts out of your head, how to take the desires out of your heart and turn them into something tangible. What's up, Willie? We're gonna talk about how to take the thoughts out of your head, how to take the desires out of your heart, and turn them into something tangible. You could be, do, and have anything you desire. Your only limit in life is your own imagination. If you could think it, you could do it. If you can't think it, you can't do it. But if you could think it, you could do it. And the good news is you could think whatever you decide to think. You are a creator. You are a creator. It is in your nature to create. You couldn't stop creating if you tried. What you gotta do is start creating on purpose, and creating on purpose requires clarity. We're finna get ready to get into what I call the 5 C's. For those of you who don't know, I'm Coach Jay. I coach bosses. I coach bosses through this concept that I designed called the 5 C's. The first C is clarity. The second C is calibration. The third C is confidence. The fourth C is competence, and the fifth C is consistency. If you apply these five Cs to any problem in your life, that problem is going to disappear. Most people apply five C, but they do it in the opposite direction. The dope thing about five C is it's a naturally occurring phenomena. I didn't really create it; I discovered it. I discovered it through coaching and working with high performers. I discovered it through helping people quit smoking, helping people quit biting their nails, helping people overcome anxiety, helping people overcome depression. I discovered it by looking at my successful cases and going, what happened here? I discovered it by looking at my unsuccessful cases and going, what didn't happen here? I discovered it by working on my life, working on my goals, building my businesses, and building my dreams. So I'm gonna be laying it out for you guys today. Now, this is the deal that we're gonna have to make. If I'm talking, I need you to be tapping the screen. This is not a podcast. This is not a TV show. This is an interaction. I could easily record a podcast. I like going live because I like the energy of a live stream. I like the back and forth of a live stream. So the deal that we got to make in order for this to work, in order for me to stay engaged and stay locked in, is I need to see I need to see action in the room. I need to see taps on the screen. I need to see comments. I need to see questions. I require energy. So if we could do that, we can unpack 5C. I answer any questions that you got. I firmly believe that as humans, we could be doing half anything we desire. That's not just something I say, that's something that I believe. But the key is the thinking. You got to think about it before you could do it. You got to think it before you can do it. You got to feel it. And a lot of times people catch theyself trying to do stuff that they haven't been thinking and they haven't been feeling. Thinking is the prerequisite to success. Thinking is the prerequisite to success. Thinking, thinking, thinking. Where the mind goes, the body follows. And what I'm realizing is that most people don't realize that your mind is a tool. Your mind is not you. Your mind is a tool that you use. I'll say that again. Your mind is not you. Your mind is a tool that you use. Just because you think something doesn't mean that it's true. Just because a feeling comes up in your body doesn't mean that it's the right feeling. You got to get in the habit of telling your thoughts what to think and telling your feelings what to feel. But before you can do that, guess what you require? Guess what you need to start dictating the direction of your life? You need a goal. You need a goal. And I'm gonna be real with you. I'm gonna tell you just like I tell my clients, if it's not on paper, it's not a goal. If I say, what's your goal? And you gotta go, um, it's not a goal. What's your goal? My goal right now is to make $25,000 a month. I want all 8 of my streams of income equal up to at least $25,000 a month. I don't want to see clients on Mondays. I don't want to see any clients before 11. I want to work with 10 clients a month, put my undivided attention On those 10 clients, everybody else fall into my group coaching programs. I want to constantly be loading people into my Dreams in Action community. I want to constantly be loading people to my 5C Growth Accelerator program. You don't got to think about a goal. Your goal should be front and center in your mind. If it's not front and center in your mind, it's not a goal. It's something that you might wouldn't mind having, but it's not a goal. But it's not a goal. As you guys come into the live, introduce yourself, especially if it's your first time here. Introduce yourself. What the hell is that? I'm trying to figure out what just happened with my phone. I've been thinking about getting me an iPhone 16. I might be about to. What is that? I don't know what that was. I thought somebody had sent a special gift at first. That was weird. Well, listen guys, you could be doing half anything you desire. As you come into the live, I need you guys tapping. I'm gonna talk a lot. I'm gonna bring a lot of energy. I need you guys matching the energy. I'm going to take some time out right now to share the live, and I appreciate if you guys do the same. For those of you who don't know, I'm Jay Shaw. I coach bosses, and I'm telling you guys, you could be doing half anything you desire, and we're going to talk about it. I'm not just going to tell you that and walk off. We're going to talk about the how. We're going to talk about how to do it, how to get it, how to take your thoughts out of your head. How to take your desires out of your heart and turn them into something tangible. We're going to talk about how to take that money off your vision board and put it in your bank account. How to take that man or that woman off your vision board and put them in your bed. How to take that car off your vision board and put it in your garage. We're going to talk about all of that. You are a creator. It is in your nature to create. But this is the deal that we're going to make. If I'm talking, I need you guys tapping the screen. If I'm talking, I need you guys tapping the screen. If you don't want to tap the screen, catch the replays. But if you want to be in the live energy, I want you participating. There is no such thing as something for nothing. And if I'm delivering value, if I'm giving you actionable steps to get you closer towards your goals, you can tap the screen. You can tap the screen. All right, I'm getting the live shared out. Give me just a moment, I'll be right back. If you guys have any questions, I'm here for you. Feel free to ask, feel free to tap in. Let's go. We gonna give the algorithm time to realize that we live, time to get things going and get things pumping, and we're gonna head over to the whiteboard and we're gonna start making this thing make sense. But the fact of the matter is, what's going on, Q? If you could think it, you could do it. If you could think you could do it, if you willing to sit down and get clear about what it is that you want If you're willing to take your focus off of what you don't want and make what you do want the center of your focus, wrap your mind right around what you do want. No time for thinking about what you don't want. Putting your undivided attention on what you would like to have. What's gonna happen is you're gonna start to move towards it on accident. Your mind is a magnet. Your mind is a magnet. The things you think about start to show up. You ever thought about somebody and they called you? You go, girl, I was just thinking about you. I was just about to text you. Your mind is a magnet. You ever just knew something? You don't even know how you know, but you just knew something. You got in sync and you had a download. What if I told you you could do that on purpose? What if I told you you don't have to just wait till that happen? You can cause it to happen, but you got to work on the cause, not the effect. Okay, we got to start thinking on purpose. We got to start thinking in terms where we would like to go, not Not in terms of where we've been. Now, if you want to stay where you at, keep thinking in terms of where you've been. But if you want to go somewhere else, you got to start thinking about that somewhere else. Your ideas give birth to ideas. They give birth to ideas. They give birth to other ideas. So a good idea is going to give birth to a good idea. That's going to give birth to another good idea. That's going to give birth to another good idea. And each one of these ideas is going to increase in momentum and increase in energy. But the same thing works in the opposite direction. A bad idea gives birth to a bad idea that gives birth to a bad idea that gives birth to a bad idea. And each idea is increasing in intensity. Each idea is increasing in momentum. Each idea is adding more emotion. Next thing you know, you done spiraled. But what if you could start spiraling on purpose? What if you could start spiraling on purpose? Thanks for the follow, Q. What if you could say, man, you know what? Today, I want to feel confident. I want to feel charismatic. I want to feel creative in my day. Man, you know what? I'm a really good cook. I'm confident in my ability as a chef, man. I'm confident in my ability to make all sorts of stuff. I make good stews, good gumbos, good— You saw how I picked the direction I wanted to go in. I started with a thought this big. Now, if I spend 5 minutes massaging that thought, If I spend 5 minutes working that thought into my neurology, it's gonna attract other thoughts just like it. I'm gonna think about other things that I'm good at. I'm gonna think about other areas of life that I'm confident in. And just like when I watch a TV show, I don't gotta try to laugh. I don't gotta try to cry. I don't gotta try to feel sad. Just watch the show. Same thing with motivation. Same thing with inspiration. You ain't gotta try to be inspired. You ain't gotta try to be creative. Pick a creative thought and watch the thought. Think the thought. What's going on, face? Think the thought. I want you to start thinking on purpose. If you just learn how to start thinking on purpose, if you just learn how to increase your focus, man, you will change your life on accident. Thinking, thinking, thinking is the work. Thinking is the work that you got to do. If you could discipline your thinking, if you could discipline your imagination, man, you will be surprised. Surprised what you could do in your life if you could pick a thought and hold that thought. If you can get rid of the monkey mind, if you could stop your mind from running to the negative. Like thinking positive is really important, really, really, really important. But what's even more important is being able to turn off that negative chatter. If you could just turn off the negative chatter, you'll be surprised what you accomplish in the next six months. That negative chatter is what's keeping you stuck. Not knowing what you want is what's keeping you stuck. If you can get clear about what you want, if you could think about what you want. Put it in the center of your mind and start focusing on it on purpose. Focus on it so much on purpose that your subconscious mind learns the pattern of focusing on it. So it's focusing on it even when you focus on other stuff. Man, man, man, man, man. You'll be surprised how you start waking up with good ideas. You'll be you in the shower. You just trying to wash your body. You gonna have a why did I never think of that before? You can't wait to get out of the shower because you just got an idea that excites you. Guys, it's time to start thinking. On purpose, I would love it for you to spend the last three months of this year. We got like eighty some days left in this year. If you could spend these last eighty days thinking on purpose, you'll be surprised of the energy and the momentum you could take into 2025. Thank you for them taps. Thank you for them taps, y'all. If y'all keep tapping, I'm gonna keep talking. I got a whole curriculum that we could that we could get into. We're gonna be getting into the five C method before we really get into it. I want to get that. I want to get the algorithm. I want to get the algorithm flowing. I want us to get some people here. I want us to get some energy in the room. But I'm telling you guys, if you tap in, not even with me, if you control your thinking for the last few months— I'm not saying you got to come to my live every day to be successful, although you can. I'm saying if you just start controlling your thinking on purpose, if you just start getting a little bit intentional, you're going to be surprised how you start moving up on accident. What's up, Kayla? How you doing? Welcome to the live. Hey, thanks for them, um, likes, QT. Appreciate you. What's up, LaShelle? Welcome to the live. But guys, hear me when I say this. The fact of the matter, not the idea, not the concept, the fact is that if you could think it, you could do it. If you could think it, you could do it. It's already working in your life. You doing anxiety because you thinking anxiety. It just come out of nowhere. No, it don't. It's some subconscious patterns running in the background that you're running. We got to stop that program. If you doing procrastination, I already know you thinking procrastination. If you're doing depression, that lets me know you thinking depression. Every problem is a thinking problem. I don't care what the problem is. People call me, can you help me with this? Can you help me with that? Every problem is a thinking problem. I can help you with anything because every problem is a thinking problem. I don't care if you want your marriage to look different. I don't care if you want more money in your bank account. I don't care if you want your body to look different. I don't care if you want to be more confident. I don't care if you want to stop eating carbs. I don't care if you want to quit smoking cigarettes. I don't care if you want to quit biting your nails. I don't care if you want to be a better speaker. I don't care if you want to be a better businessman. I don't care if you want to be better at budgeting. It's a thinking problem. You think different, you'll do different on accident. What people try to do is they try to sit in the same mindset. They try to sit in the same way of thinking, but they try to do different stuff. That's not going to work. But let me tell you something. If you could just start thinking and feeling different, you'll act different on accident. Thanks for them taps, QT. I appreciate you so much. If you could just start thinking different and feeling different, thanks for the follow, love. You would do different actions. Think about it. When you pissed off, when you angry, when you feel mad and you thinking angry thoughts, it's very easy for you to curse people out and put people back in their place. Then when you start feeling better, you go, I didn't have to. Why did I say that? Now I gotta apologize. What's going on, Tanisha? How you doing, guys? I need you tapping. Tapping, tapping. You keep tapping. I'm gonna keep talking. I ain't gotta be to the gym for like another two hours. So if you guys tap, I will give you that entire two hours. I will answer whatever questions you got. I will teach you how to turn your thoughts into things, how to turn your desires into things, how to take the desires out of your heart and put them in your bank account. I'm Jay Shaw. My background is is in clinical hypnosis. So for the past two decades, I've been helping people. Really learn how to think. Like, people— when people find out I'm a hypnotist, they ask me one or two questions. The first thing is, can you hypnotize me? Or can you not? People either want to be hypnotized or they don't want to be hypnotized. But the question that they should be asking me is, can you teach me how to hypnotize myself? People always want to learn how to hypnotize other people. When you learn how to hypnotize you, you don't need nobody else. You appreciate them, You, you, you glad about the people in your life. You appreciate your spouse. You appreciate your siblings. You appreciate your friends, but you don't need them. Well, you know how to hypnotize you. Well, you know how to tell you, "I'm getting up at six a.m. and I'm going live," and you voilà! Here you go. You got to. And the thing about it is you hypnotizing and programming yourself rather you realize it or not. It's impossible to stir up anxiety without running self hypnosis. It's impossible to cook up depression without running self hypnosis. People think the hypnosis is this. Box. Whenever I'm training hypnotists, I always tell them this: don't learn hypnosis and put it in this box that you only use in your office. Hypnosis is a tool that you use to keep your marriage together. Like, think about it. When somebody's saying my marriage lost its spark, when somebody's saying my relationship lost its spark, what they saying is this motherfucker don't hypnotize me no more. They handle me any type of way. They not taking me on no dates. They not planning nothing. They are not excited. They are not hypnotizing me. When I first met him, he was charismatic, he was smooth, he was nice, he was bringing me flowers, he was funny. He ain't doing none of that no more. He's no longer hypnotizing me. One of my homeboys asked me years ago, he said, man, you ever hypnotize women to get them to have sex with you? I said, Zach, please tell me you're not out here having sex with people without hypnotizing them first. That's called rape. Foreplay is hypnosis. Foreplay is what you call a hypnotic induction. And if you proceed into intercourse without a hypnotic induction, without some type of either verbal or nonverbal consent, that's illegal, man. He said, damn, when you put it like that, can you teach me hypnosis? I said, you already know it, man. So TV paints hypnosis as if it's this weird thing. You can make it weird, but at its basis, hypnosis is I say something, you respond to it, you feel different. If I get you some flowers and you say, "Oh, you just made my day," I just hypnotized you. I did something, you processed it, you feel different. I just changed your state. If I call you a B-I-T-C-H and you respond, "Who you talking to?" Da da da da da. I just hypnotized you. I said something, you processed it, you feel different. But if you walk up to your house and you notice a piece of paper on your door, it's a pink piece of paper on my door. And you get it and it say notice to vote to vacate effective whatever 30 days from today is. And your anxiety start pumping, your heart start going up, you start putting this narrative in your mind. That piece of paper just hypnotized you. You read it, you processed it, you feel different. That's hypnosis. If you see a commercial and you go, oh, I want that, that's hypnosis. If you want to live and the handsome host say, hey guys, tap the screen, if I'm tapping you should be talking, and you start tapping the screen That's hypnosis. Hey guys, welcome to the live. Tap the screen, help me out, help us get this thing up to the algorithm. What's going on? Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, man, man, man. Well, I know, I know what the email gonna be about today. Why the government has people in lower state? Because of fear and control. Exactly. So, um, fear is the final state to mind control. Like a lot of times people find out, they go, don't hypnotize me, don't mind control me. Mind control is actually easier than hypnosis. Mind control is a four-step process. Y'all interested in talking about mind control? And I teach people the steps to mind control so you can realize if they being ran on you, not for you to go out here and mind control people, but do what you do. It's this thing called karma that sort it all out. Like, I don't. This helps you so much on your manifesting journey. You don't gotta be the mindset police. You ain't gotta be the the balancing thing guy police. This thing called the law of attraction. This thing called the law of vibration. That thing, fairness is on autopilot. You do not got to get out here and regulate nothing. You got to control your thinking. So, all right, we'll take a quick detour. We'll get into mind control real quick. Let's see where he is. Let's talk about it. So quick thing that I like to do now when I'm teaching, teaching, like when I'm teaching hypnosis, I tell my students, If I write it down, you probably should too. I ain't gonna tell you what to do, but if I write it down, you probably should too. It's probably important if I write it down. So let's look at the 4 pillars of mind control. 4 pillars of mind control. Okay. First thing you want to do when you mind control somebody is you want to get them sleep deprived. You want them sleepy. When you go to sleep, the mind sorts itself back out. The mind puts itself back in balance. The mind gets what we call your sleep number back up. And the lower your sleep number, the less quality you're thinking. When you sleeping and you go into REM state, you dream in 3 stages. This last stage of dreaming is called vivid dreaming. Venting, and venting is where you release stuff. Like you ever had an argument with somebody, and after the argument you think of something you should have said. Like you ever had that feeling? You like oh, you know what I should have said? You damn don't want to go start the argument back up. Some of y'all petty. Some of y'all will be. And another thing, like we we had this argument three hours ago. Get off my phone, person. What's wrong with you? But you ever had that feeling? I need you guys tapping. I need you guys tapping. Okay, so. Your body is designed to get rid of that energy. That energy has to go somewhere. So your 3rd stage of dreaming is what we call the venting stage. If I'm keeping you from getting into this 3rd stage of dreaming, you never get to vent. So you actually, you eventually get into what we call sensory overload. Conscious mind can only hold 5 to 7 things in consciousness at a time. So if you filled up with stuff from yesterday, you didn't get to vent and process and let go of stuff from yesterday, and you coming into that day, then I do that to you again. And I do that to you again, I'm setting up a situation where we can, where we can really have a party and I can get you to do things that you probably typically wouldn't do. So that's the first pillar. Second pillar, protein deficiency. The brain burns 20% of your calories. If you don't got no protein in your body, it's really hard to make good decisions. A lot of people think they struggle With discipline. A lot of people think, man, man, I'm trying to meditate, I'm trying to focus, I'm trying to do the tools that you've given me, but I cannot focus. I can't lock onto a thought. What'd you have for breakfast? Um, I went to Starbucks. I had some bagel and a coffee. So you had caffeine and carbs for breakfast. Okay, what else did you eat? I don't eat again until I get home. No wonder you can't focus. No wonder you anxious. Your blood sugar levels are through the floor. Accurate thought requires protein. Accurate thought requires protein. You don't got protein, you're not going to think accurately. When people schedule a session with me, they receive an email. In that email, I'm telling them before they show up to their first session, I want you to show up hydrated and eat a protein-dense snack right before you get here. If you fast, then I need you to break fast today. I need— because a brain with protein and a body with water is a brain that's ready for change. A protein-starved brain is a hypnosis is a take, but boy, we gonna it's gonna take us a month of sessions to do what we could have did in one session. Get some protein in your body. Get some protein in your body. So we talked about sleep. We talked about protein. Third pillar of mind control is separation. Separation. You gotta get them away from their counsel. You ever got in a situation with somebody and you responded? Maybe you responded violently, maybe you cursed them out, maybe you did something, but you get on the phone. For me, it's my mama. I don't care what you say. My mama say she understand, or my mama say I ain't do nothing wrong, I ain't do nothing wrong. But we got people in our life that we call, but let me tell you what happened. Yada, yada, yada, yada, yada, yada. Was I wrong? And they be like, yeah, friend, you was wild in that time. But no, you weren't wrong. I would have did the same thing. If you want to mind control somebody, you got to get them away from all of those people that they bounce their reality off of. You got to get them away from their mom. You got to get them away from their auntie. You got to get them away from their best friend. You see this in relationships. You see people try to move people away from their family, move people out of town, stop them from having their best friend. So that's the third pillar, separation. You don't want them to have nobody to shake their reality against. You want to be the person they shake their reality against. You could tell them they tripping. And they ain't got nobody else to go verify with. And like I said, I'm teaching you guys this so you can realize if it's being done to you. I'm not giving you this so you can go do it. I'm teaching you this so you can like, wait a minute, hold on, wait a minute. All right, and I'm gonna let y'all guess at the 4th stage. I need to see some taps and I need to see some guesses. Then we're gonna talk about the 4th stage of mind control. This is the 4th and final one. Then I'm gonna give you a real easy way to remember all of these. It was done to you. What you mean? What's up, Eli? Welcome to the live right now, guys. We're talking about mind control. I don't know where we going today. We're gonna talk about whatever y'all finna talk about. We got a deep bag of resources over here. We're gonna have some fun. You're gonna leave here with some valuable life-changing information. Oh, it got done to you. Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. Fourth stage. I got you, I got you, I got you, I got you now. Fourth stage, give them something to fear. Give them something to fear. Afraid? This is why the government wants you scared. This is why the government wants you stressed out. Because when you scared, you sit down and say, what do I do next? You're currently working on changing your mindset. You're in the right place, princess. If you haven't already, hit that follow button. Down the screen and listening, you're going to change your mindset on accident. You're going to change your mind just by being in here. Like, you're going to get back into that environment. So the thing about it is, guys, when you're a baby, you are in hypnosis. You're in this sponge state. If we drop you in a house where people speak 5 languages, you're going to learn all 5 of those languages just by being in the house. This is the magic of what happens in this life. I'm a hypnotist. I know how to put you in that state where you just learn by being in the room on accident. If you just sit in here and tap the screen and listen, it's going to be things that go into your subconscious mind. And it's just like when you watching a movie, you ain't got to try to laugh, just watch the movie. You ain't got to try to get excited, just watch the movie. If you just watch the live, if you just open your ears, open your heart, tap the screen and watch the live, you're to notice your life starting to change before your eyes. You're going to notice your mood starting to go up. When your mood go up, your ideas ain't got no choice but to go up. When your ideas go up, your energy ain't got no choice but to go up. And as your energy go up, you start attracting better ideas. As you start attracting better ideas, you ain't got to make yourself do it. You want to do it. I wake up with things that I can't wait to get on live and talk. How do you get out of bed and go live at 6:00 AM? I got something I can't wait to talk about. Now, if my thoughts were Not what they were, and my energy was not what it was, and my mood was not what it was. I would still be in the bed because I went to sleep thinking a certain way. I woke up feeling a certain way, and I want to get on here and share this feeling with as many people as possible. What's up, Gigi? Welcome to the live. Hey, Kelly. So yeah, keep tapping the screen, keep listening, and watch what happen with your mood. The dope thing about the body is, so your subconscious mind is feminine. You don't tell it what to do; you just give it what it needs to do what you want it to do. I'm gonna let— I'm gonna say that again. You don't tell your body what to do. You just give it what it needs to do what you want it to do. You don't got to tell a feminine woman to make a house a home. Just give her a nice home and watch what she do with it. You just make sure she got what she need to do what she need to do. You make sure that it's food in there. You make sure that it's some Lysol and some Mrs. Meyer's and she got everything she need. She gonna tell you, get out the way, I need to clean this kitchen up. I got this nice kitchen, I want this kitchen clean. I got this nice house, I got— she gonna want to keep the house up. Your subconscious mind works the same way. If you just give it some protein, if you just give it a good idea and you just focus on the idea, your subconscious mind gonna say, I'm gonna need some motivation, I'm gonna need some good ideas, I'm gonna need some excitement, I'm gonna need— and it's gonna come back to you with all the stuff you need. You don't tell it what to do, you just prepare the environment for it to do what it needs to do. And that's what we do in this line. Okay, so give you something to fear. A scared person is a person who's ready to listen. For people who just joining us, we talking about the four pillars of mind control. I'm not giving you the four pillars of mind controls before you can go mind control people. I'm giving you the four pillars of mind control so you can recognize what's being done to you. Okay, so sleep deprived. Logical thinking requires good sleep. Logical thinking requires good sleep. Protein. You gotta have protein in your body. Your brain burns 20% of your calories. Your little old brain burns 20% of all of your calories. And if you run it off carbs and caffeine, ain't no protein. Ain't no logical thinking happening without protein. We see lots of connections between anxiety and people not eating correctly. They think they anxious, but what's really happening is their blood sugar levels are tanking. Of course you feel anxious. Your body is taking everything your body got in you to stand up. Your body wondering if it could sustain you through the rest of the day. Of course you feel anxious. Of course you feel nervous. Okay, protein. Third stage, separation. Somebody separating you from the people you care about, separating you from the people you bounce ideas off of. That's the third pill of mind control. And the fourth thing is giving you something to fear. Now Disney did a real good job Of giving us a representation with this. Let me know if you ever seen Beauty and the Beast. What's up, Precious? Beauty and the Beast shows all four of these pillars in action. She couldn't sleep because of the street, the the squeaky jar, the draw. Remember that she couldn't sleep because the draw kept squeaking. She was sleep deprived. She could only eat if she ate with the beast. The thing that she feared was her doorway to protein. So check that out. The thing that she feared was her only connection to protein. So she had to go through her fear to get protein. That's, man, that's a whole nother level of linkages and stuff that we're not even gonna get into on this live. Damn, Disney. Separation. She had nobody to talk to. She was in there talking to candles and shit. Like, she was literally talking to candles. She had nobody to talk to. She had nobody to bounce her reality off of. And she had the beast to fear. All 4 of those boxes were checked. What happened? She fell in love with her captor. Stockholm syndrome. But sleep deprivation, protein deprivation, separation from her counsel, and fear checked all those boxes. Now you at a state where you shut up and listen. I'm tired, I'm weak, I don't got nobody to talk to, and I'm scared. What do I need to do? What do I need to do to feel better? I feel crappy. I feel alone. I feel malnourished. What do I need to do to feel better? I need to shut up, go to work, and okay, I'll quit thinking. I'll do whatever you want me to do. Just can I have some protein? Can I have somebody to talk to? See these? They make sense. But let me ask you something. If you let's look at your life. If you up all night on TikTok. Up all night watching Netflix, you sleep deprived. If you waking up, you running off caffeine and carbs, no protein, you got a protein deprivation. If everybody just as sleepy and just as tired and just as scared as you are, who are those same people that you bouncing your reality off of? And if CNN, MSNBC, this political election and all this stuff going on, you just checked all four of those boxes. So what you got to do is you got to get your own clear goals, and you got to start running all of these in the reverse operation on yourself. You got to say, "This is my goal," and because I want this goal, I'm going to choose to get sleep. I'm gonna choose to put protein in my body every day. I'm gonna find me one or two good friends. I only need one or two who thinking about what I'm thinking about, who moving like I'm moving, who getting protein in their body as well. And we gonna hold each other accountable. And when I catch my friend trying to sit in fear, I'm gonna shake them out of it. And when they catch me doing it, they gonna do the same thing. They gonna do the same thing. Does that make sense? So that's mind control in a nutshell. Now it gets deeper. There's levels to it, but that's the gist of what we would teach in a mind control seminar. So get you some sleep, get you some protein, find you 1 or 2 people, find you a dope environment like this where you can come every day and get your reality back in order, where you can find some people who full of momentum, who full of energy, who headed in a positive direction. Don't, don't, don't separate from us. Don't separate from what we got going on here. Or even if it ain't here, find you somewhere with a similar frequency. And fear nothing. Fear nobody and no one. Your only limit in life is your own imagination. If you could think it, you could do it. Now, if you can't think it, you in trouble. But the good news is you can think it. But it's gonna take you making a decision. It's gonna take you making a choice. And if you haven't already made that choice, now is as good a time as any to make that choice. I want you to start thinking on purpose. I want you to get in the habit of telling your thoughts what to think and telling your feelings how to feel. Jay, you can't do that. Yes, the fuck you can. What's going on, Bama? Yes, you can. You could be, do, and have anything you desire. Scratch that. We changing that to you could be, do, and have anything you willing to think about consistently. You could be doing have anything you hold in your mind consistently. You could be doing have anything you hold in your mind consistently. You stop operating in desperation. Exactly. And and I like to use the word remember who you are. Once you remember who you are, wait a minute. I'm that sperm cell that beat the other 500 million sperm cells to fertilize that egg. That's me. I wanted to be here so bad. that I beat out 500 million other sperm cells to be here. I wanted to be here so bad that I was sitting in Deborah's womb and a voice said, you wanna go out there and play? I said, yeah. So you're gonna need a lot of cells. I said, okay. So you're gonna need some toenails, you're gonna need some fingernails, you're gonna need a lung, you're gonna— well, a lung— you're gonna need some lungs, you're gonna need some kidneys. Like this voice, and I was like, okay, let's go get it. Then I got here. I got here, I was so excited to be here. I said, hold on, they doing this thing called talking. I'm gonna learn how to do that. Oh, they doing this thing called walking. I'm gonna learn how to do that. That's Mama. That's Granny. Okay, that's my Uncle Collie. And I'm in here, I'm the dumbest I'll ever be. Think about that. At your dumbest state, you was learning at a crazy rate. How long would it take you to master a new language right now? If you decided you was gonna get Rosetta Stone or what's that other app that teach you languages? I can't think of it right now. But if you got one of these apps on your phone and you was gonna learn a new language, How long right now as an adult do you think it'll take you to become efficient in that language? I like that. Balma said become unavailable to the wrong things so you can become more available to the right things. The way we say it— Duolingo, that's it. The way I like to say it is you got to put that down so you can pick this up. Your hand's so full of what you don't want, you ain't got no freedom to pick up what you would rather have. But it might take you a minute to learn a new language right now, right? Because you out of that hypnosis that you in as a kid. You spend the first 8 years of your life in hypnosis. You spend the first 8 years of your life in hypnosis. They can't, and the person that says they can't are both usually right. Exactly, exactly, exactly. Welcome to the family, pal. I'm gonna hit that follow button. Keep kicking it with us. I like you, man. But guys, if you can think it, you can do it. Now, if you can't think it, you out of luck. You're out of luck. And anybody who missed the talk on mind control, you can get our replays simply by going to my bio. Click the link in my bio and join the 5C Inner Circle. That's going to take you to a web page with all types of resources, all the replays, all types of stuff. But guys, we're going to start talking about how to turn your thoughts into things. We're going to talk about how to turn your desires in your heart into something tangible. Okay. You are a creator. You create even when you're not creating on purpose. We've been talking about how to create on purpose. My man Super Sniper, what's going on, dude? We're gonna talk about how to create on purpose. You creating anyway. I want you to look around, notice everything that you see. Notice the state of your body. Notice how you feel. Notice the energy that you sitting in. And I want you to take full ownership because you created that. Hate it or love it, you created that. You manifested that. And we're going to teach you how to manifest on purpose because you might have manifested that by default. You might have manifested that on the same pattern that your grandparents were manifesting, on the same pattern that your parents were manifesting on. We're going to teach you how to have what you want to have because you decided to. If such— if all these diseases and all these different sicknesses is running your body, we can take this. This is going to be the generation that run out. Stop letting others hold the pen for sure. For sure, for sure, for sure. So we're going to talk about my 5C success strategy. But before we do that, I want to explain something to you guys that we call theory of mind. I want to explain to you how your mind works and how you got to where you got. Then we're going to talk about how you get where you want to go. So when a baby is first born, y'all gonna see me draw a lot of circles. A lot of the stuff that I talk about, I like to explain it with circles. I don't know why I like circles. But when a baby's first born, Completely blank slate, except for what we call the primitive mind. Now, the primitive mind is where you hold the stuff that you already know. You don't got to teach a baby how to suck a bottle. You don't got to teach a baby how to breathe. You don't have to teach a baby how to go into flight, fight, or freeze. Y'all familiar with the term fight, flight, freeze? I'm sure you are. Okay, so a baby is only born with 2 ways to trigger fight, flight, or freeze. In the beginning, a baby has only 2 fears. A baby only has 2 fears in the beginning. The only way you can scare a baby is a loud noise or that, that little falling sensation. If you put it down too fast, you go, weee, and you drop it down. Those are the only 2 ways you can get a baby in the fight, flight, or fawn. You could talk to a baby about the recession, it's not gonna go into fight, flight, or fawn. You could talk to the baby about COVID it's not gonna get nervous. You could talk to the baby and say, hey, we just got evicted, it's not gonna— it's not gonna go into fight, flight, or fawn. Okay? The only way that you get a baby in fight, flight, or fawn is through a fear of loud noises or a fear of falling. That used to be you. Now, this is what happened between the ages of 0 and 8. I need you guys tapping the screen. If you keep tapping, I'm gonna keep talking. I got about an hour and a half before I gotta be at the gym, and if you guys keep tapping, I'm gonna give you that whole hour and a half. If not, I'm gonna go to the gym early. But between the ages of 0 and 8, you start learning through a process that we call identification. I need that area for something else, so we're gonna write it over here. Identification. You start learning through a process called identification and association. What color is this? Gotta hit 20K, run it up. Ain't no reason not to. What color is this? I think it's a slight lag on the live, so we gonna, we gonna wait. I want y'all to catch up. Well, where we going? This is red. How do you know this is red? Let me tell you how you know this is red. Through identification and association. Years ago, somebody sat you down and said, you see this? You see this little Nicki? You see this little Nisha? This is red. This pattern of lighting, this vibrating of light is what we call red. You identified it and you made an association to it. You identified this vibration with the word red. Okay, that's how you learned it. And what did they use? They tell it to you. You think they told it to you once or maybe a few thousand times? Through association, your teacher was telling you, your mama was telling you. Sometimes you got an older sibling; your older sibling might tell you. Your uncle come to the house; he say, "Hey girl, you know your colors? You don't know your colors. What colors is that? Red." And they pat you on the back and they praise you. You start learning early on that if I identify and associate the right things, I get to be a part of the group. If I if I if I can learn to identify and associate the right things, they gonna they gonna treat me a little bit better. Okay, so you spend the first 8 years of your life making identifications and associations. If you grow up in a house with a dog, you love this dog, you cuddle with this dog, this dog protects you, you make positive associations towards the dog. You get attacked by the dog, you might make negative associations through the dog. Now, we don't see the world as it is. We see the world through our sunglasses. If I got on positive associations, I see a positive world. When I'm looking through my negative associations, I see a negative world. Two people can lose the same job. One person's gonna go, "Man, you know what? I was really thinking about starting my business anyway. Then gave me this little severance check. That's twenty thousand dollars. I mean, ain't a lot of money, but that's enough to hold me up. You know what? This is a blessing." Another person could be, "Man." My life is over. What I'm gonna do with $20,000, man? That's what, 5, 6 months of pay? They finna tax that, man. My life is over. Same situation, different set of associations. So in your childhood, what you think was happening if every time you went to the store, your mama say, look, we're gonna go in the store. Don't touch shit. Don't ask for shit. You're not getting shit. Who had that happen before? Not listen, we're on a budget. Mommy only has enough money for groceries. We're gonna go in and get food. Maybe next time you can get a toy, but today it's just not in the budget. It's don't touch nothing, don't ask for nothing, you're not getting nothing. Okay, so these associations don't just disappear. People be in my office 30, 40, and 50 years old. They think they upset because their husband not taking out of the trash. It's these associations that happen between 0 and 8. Him not taking out the trash might have been the trigger. But you don't go sleep in the guest room over trash. It ain't happening. So what's happening in our adult life is things that's triggering these things happen between the ages of 0 and 8. You think it's your boss. Your boss remind you of somebody from your childhood that you met in this phase of 0 to 8. What's going on, Cynthia? How you doing? Keep tapping, guys. Y'all keep tapping. I'm gonna keep talking. I'm gonna keep pouring. I'm gonna keep reminding. I don't teach, I remind. Everything we talking about, you already know it at some level. Okay, now at the age of nine, what happens is you develop what we call the critical mind. The critical mind is like a bouncer. What it does is it protects these associations. The critical mind is like a bouncer, and it protects these associations. And your critical mind is half subconscious. Yeah, I've been doing hypnosis for 2 decades and the word conscious still whoops my ass. It's the craziest thing in the world. I have to slow down every time I spell it. And it's half conscious. Now, our subconscious mind is 98% of our thinking potential. Your subconscious mind is what's controlling every organ in your body. Your subconscious mind is what's making your heart heart. It's what making your lungs long seem like you got more work to do. You ain't got a lot of work to do. You got more playing to do. You got more clarity to gain. You got more excitement to get. You got to get more. So that same emotion that you feeling right now, like think about it. A thought triggered that feeling. A thought triggered that sentence. That whole sentence. A thought gave birth to that sentence. So that feeling of man, I got a lot of work. I thought I had stuff to do. Now, now I really got stuff to do. You got to get the type of thought that say. This shit finna be fun. This shit finna be— you mean I could be doing anything I want? You mean that's not just for people who look like that and were born over there? You mean I can have it? This little black boy from the projects raised by a single mama can run multiple businesses, can coach people from all over the world, can work with professional athletes? I, I can do that? Then that's gonna give birth to another sentence. That's gonna give birth to another type of energy. Then you get in this mindset where it ain't something you got to do, it's something that you get to do. Like, it'd be different if I had to go live. My energy would be different, my delivery would be different. But I got to this state through thinking a lot of thoughts that put me in a mindset where I get to go live. I got a really, really, really attractive woman laying in my bed that it would be really easy to stay and lay next to her till shit, 10 AM, 11 AM. But I started using my mind in a way that made the live At least momentarily, a more exciting place to be. But if I would have let my thoughts took another route, I would not be on this live right now. Thinking is what we got to control. You don't got to control your body. You got to control your thinking. Your thoughts control your body. You ever been in a situation where you don't want to laugh, but something in you say, that shit funny? Like, hold on, I can't laugh right now. Something say, I don't care. That's funny. Or you ever been in a situation where you don't want to cry? Something in you say, hey, it's time to cry. You say, I don't want to cry right now. You blinking, you trying to distract yourself. If that's something inside of you say it's time to cry, it ain't nothing you can do about it. That, my friend, is the 98%. The 98% gets what the 98% wants. Let's go through the rest of this, and then we're going to talk about how to change it. So the conscious mind is that remaining 2%. So let me ask you a question. If you put 2% up against 98%, who you think gonna win? For sure, for sure, goddess. For sure, for sure. But look, this is where— this is the part that a lot of people miss with manifesting. You ain't gotta purposely change the words. If we change the vibration, the words gonna change theyself. Because if you change the word but the vibration that created the words is still the same, Source don't hear what you say, they hear what you feel. Okay, so when we look at like the Bible, you look at that story of Esau and Isaac. Isaac was able to take Esau's blessing— I mean, Isaac gave Jacob Esau's blessing because he felt like Esau. Isaac was blind, he couldn't see, so the way he would tell which son he was talking to is by how they felt. That's how he told his sons apart. So he was able to take his brother's blessing because he felt like his brother, not because he sounded like his brother, not because he looked like his brother, but he felt like his brother. You gotta feel like wealth. You ain't gotta look like wealth. You ain't even gotta talk like wealth. When I first started doing what I do, I did not look like wealth. To some people, I might not even look like wealth now. Their problem, not mine. But I felt wealthy. I was broke, I was busted, I was disgusted, didn't have 2 pennies to rub together, but I felt wealthy. You might not tell by the way I look, but you can tell by the way I felt. Feeling, as Neville Goddard would say, feeling really is the secret. Feeling is the secret. Okay, so got the subconscious mind, 98%. Got the conscious mind, 2%. Conscious mind runs off of logic, reason, analysis, willpower, and decision-making. Logic, reason, analysis, willpower, decision-making. That's the 2%. And believe it or not, that's what most people use to try to solve their problems. They try to make sense of it. They try to reason it. Well, it's not fair. Why they got that? They got that because they daddy gave it to them. My daddy gave me a million dollars. I would have it too. They use analysis. They using these eyes. Well, I see this amount in my bank account is nowhere near this amount. This is impossible. They using the 2%. But even if you convince the 2%, 98% of you still ain't bought in. Keep up, we almost there. This 98% runs off of 2 things— well, 3. It runs off of feeling, emotion, and memory. Subconscious, the 98%. The 98% runs on feeling, emotion, and memory. Okay, let me see a red heart if you in a relationship. Let me see a green heart if you in the process of attracting your relationship. Let's see something. Let's see something. Let me see a red heart if you in a relationship. Let me see a green heart if you in the process of attracting you a relationship. I'm single. And let me see a yellow heart if you got all the relationships. You like, hey, I got, I got enough, I got enough love to spread around. Just to show, give me a yellow heart. Years ago I would have dropped the yellow heart in here on y'all head. All right, for sure, for sure. Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. So created, you attracting yours. Princess, you got yours. Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. Now I want you guys to— my people with these red hearts I want you to think about your partner, but I want you to think about— no, let's do this one first. I want you to think about the things they do that annoy you. Maybe they chew with their mouth open. Maybe they leave their shoes in places that you don't want them to leave them. Maybe they overspend on the budget. I want you to just start to think about things they do that annoy you. Okay. All right, don't go too long. That's enough. Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop. I don't want to get you in a state that you spend the rest of the day in. But you felt that, right? You felt how your body was responding to that. And if you would have let that got enough momentum going, when no amount of logic, reason, and analysis gonna stop you from feeling it, they drop everything in your hand so you can pick it up. And even as you typed it, you probably was hitting your screen a little. Energy came with that thought. Now I want you to think about that same person, and I want you to think about why you wake up. Oh, got a yellow heart. Okay, I see it. Date all of them. Date all of them. I feel it. Okay, so I want you to think about that same person, but I want you to think about the reasons you wake up every day and choose them. They might be a great mom. They might be a great father. They might just be a good listener. They might be one of the most supportive people you ever meet. They might have been one of the first people you met in your life that you actually felt like understood you. I want you to just keep thinking of those thoughts, and I want you to notice how as you hang on to one thought of the reasons you love them, you ain't got to chase another one down. It just show up, and you go, "Oh, yesterday they did this. Last year they got me this for my birthday. Oh, they took me on." Just keep thinking. Kind, caring, loving, funny. She understands me. And you had different energies as you typed that sentence than when you typed that sentence, right? But you see that there, my friends? That's how we control the 98%. We control the 98% through feeling, emotion, and memory. A lot of people try to use logic to take theyself out of a funk. I've met guys, man. So a lot of people come to me for confidence development and self-esteem development. I've had guys walk in my office, 6'5, a few million dollars in the bank account, nice car outside, attractive guys. They come down and sit on their couch. Man, I just, I feel worthless. I feel like nobody is attracted to me. I don't feel good. And it makes no sense, man. I go to the gym every day. I work out. I got money. And like, girls try to talk to me, but they don't really like— They trying to use logic to come out of this funk when the funk is in the 98%. It's not about— it don't make sense because it's not a 2% problem. It's a feeling, emotion, and memory problem. I gotta get you feeling different so that you can start thinking different. Then you'll start acting different on accident. But the 98% is what's keeping you stuck. The 98% is what's holding your manifestation hostage. It's already there, but the 98% isn't allowing it in. Hold on, what was the yellow heart? I thought that was happy with being— oh no, the yellow heart was you. You got them all. You got you 4 or 5 of them. 7 kids, that's what's up. See, Princess still going. That's what we call the law of momentum. A thought, every thought, believe it or not, every thought started out small. Oh, so yeah, that's what we call Floridian slip niche. Let me find out. Yeah. I know you can keep going. The dope thing is you can keep going in either direction, but as a conscious creator, you gonna start choosing. When we get into 5C, we're going to talk about that magic question, that magic question of what would I rather have? That's the question that when I started asking that question, that's when I started creating the life I desire. When I started asking myself, what do I want? When I would look at what I want, every time I look at something I don't want, I instantly go, what would I rather have? And what's the path of least resistance to get it? Let's keep moving. So this is what happens. You got all of these associations that you made between the ages of 0 and 8. Some positive, some negative, yada yada yada. You got all of these associations, and these become what we call known associations. And known associations are just associations that we no longer question. What's this? What color is this? What's going on, Emerald? And guys, let's take those taps up to 20K. We got a lot of energy in here. Ain't no reason we can't take this to 20K. Don't hold back on me. I promise I won't hold back on you. Green. Now I'm a clinically trained hypnotist with two decades of experience. I could convince you that this was blue, but man, it would take some time. It would take some energy. We got to get well if you're a synabolist, we could get you there. If you're not a synabolist, it's we have to revert to other methods. But you noted this to be green because of repetition. You noted this to be green because it's been told to you over and over and over and over and over again. It's been associated. So, if I come say, hey, this is blue, this is what's going to happen. Your critical mind is going to flip out. That thought is going to come in, I'm going to say, hey, that's blue, and your critical mind is going to go in here, find that association, and say, nope, this association says that's green, you got to go. It's going to kick it right out. It's going to kick it right out. But let's say you got a money belief block. Let's say you got some associations around here. Let's say you was one of those kids— don't ask for nothing, don't touch nothing, you're not getting nothing. Let's say you was one of those kids, you had a few instances where you woke up and the lights might have been off and the power might have been off, and you heard your mom on the phone talking about, it's never enough money to go around. It's always more month than money. I can't win for losing. I'm working 2 jobs, I'm still barely making it, and this man not helping me take care of this child. It's never enough money. Let's say you got a lot of those negative associations around money. Then you come in this crazy man's life and he's saying, hey, you can be, do, and have anything you desire. If you could think it, you could do it. You, you right here, you can have that pile of money if you just willing to think about it. The logic, reason, and analysis going, that makes sense. It is reasonable that if you think it, you could do it. He made a good point. When I watch TV, I don't got to try to laugh. So the 2% going, okay, I believe that. 98% going, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. All of this over here? Get out of here. Get out of here. So, the question becomes, how do we bypass the critical mind? How do we bypass the critical mind? How do we use our logic, our reason, our analysis, our willpower to get a new idea? The 2% loves the idea. The 2% is excited about the idea. When people book sessions with me, it's usually they got an idea in the 2%, but they don't know how to get the 98% on board. So our work is bypassing the critical mind. Definitely helps that with prayer. Prayer is one of the quickest ways to open the critical mind, but you gotta pray correctly. Most people mess up prayer because they, instead of informing God or source, however you choose to relate to it, they get in there and they have a long dialogue about what they don't want and why they don't want it. Like when my daughter comes to her father and she asks for things, if y'all know my content, if you've watched me stream, you've heard this story before. When my daughter asks me for things, my daughter come in there, she go, Daddy, I just saw this dollhouse on TV, and when I get it, I'm gonna put it right beside my other dollhouse, Daddy. I'm gonna put it right beside my other dollhouse, and my other 5 Barbies, they gonna live in the old dollhouse, Daddy, and my other 10 Barbies, they gonna live in the new dollhouse 'cause it's bigger, Daddy. And as her dad, as her creator, I'm going, get your shoes on. What is that? This dollhouse on Amazon? This dollhouse at Target? Where is this dollhouse at, baby? Her daddy going, Jay, she don't need another dollhouse. She already got a dollhouse. Her birthday in 3 weeks, Jay. Why is she getting a dollhouse? Because she excited about it, and she already know where she gonna put it at. My baby's trying to build subdivisions in her bedroom. I want to help. I'm a creator. I want to create, and my mini creator is trying to create. The only thing she need is a little bit of this. Baby, pick a color. Which go get your go get your dollhouse. Now imagine if that same little girl came in my room. Hold on. We gotta let TikTok know that I'm still alive. There we go. Imagine if that same little girl came in my room and went. Daddy, that other dollhouse that you got me three years ago—it's stupid, and I'm—and I'm too big for that dollhouse. I don't want that one anymore. I don't want it. I saw a new one, and I want that one. Like you little ungrateful heathen! Get out! That's how most people pray. God, I don't like my life. I can't keep doing this. If you could just—God, God, I just got this idea. Actually, you know I got that idea because you gave it to me. Thank you for this idea, God. Thank you for this vision. And I know that just like you gave me the vision, you gonna give me the rest of the idea. And oh, as this thing pick up momentum, I'm not just gonna change my life, I'm gonna change the life of my future generations. You gotta start praying and from— you gotta get under the influence of what you want and then pray. You don't pray from under the influence of what you don't want. You pray from under the influence of what you like. That's what faith is. Faith is getting under the influence of what's not even here yet. But a lot of people put their faith in the failure, and you praying, but you praying with your faith in your failure. So you praying, but you praying from under the influence of what you don't want. You praying, but as you praying, you talking about how stupid the old thing is. You talking about why you can't— talk about why you want it. Talk about— And I'm telling you, when my daughter is in that locked-in state, I can't say no to her. I can't say no to her. When my son is locked in, when he, he know it's a yes before he even walk in, you know, man, my report card was good, I done cleaned my room, I ain't got no trouble, daddy gonna do this thing for me. My daddy got the means to do it and he gonna do it. But oh, the energy is different when you know you unworthy. Well, and, and you know you unworthy when you feel unworthy. But sometimes my son might walk in and go, Daddy, I know you probably gonna say no because I got in trouble at school Friday, but can I get some Fortnite bucks? No, ref. Absolutely not. Go do your internal work. Go do whatever you need to do to feel worthy and come back and holler at me. I'm not doing you no favors when I teach you that you can get awarded from that state because that's not how life works. But when the kids come in, Daddy, on Saturday they dropping a new battle pass. It come out at 11:30 and you gonna let me stay up late because I don't got school the next day. Can I, Daddy? He asking, but as he asking, he telling me. And the energy already there as if I said yes. It's very hard for me to say no to my kids when they in that state. But when they expecting a no, when they expecting a no, it's very easy to— like, you already sad, you already pouting, so I don't change nothing by telling you no. But when they locked in, when they turned up, when they already enjoying that thing that ain't here yet, it's very hard for me as their father to say no. And I believe that our Father works the same way. I come to God with this good idea and I'm excited about it and I'm already making plans and I'm already— I'm ready to kick it into gear. God like, ooh, that's what I sent you down there for. I sent you there to create and you creating. I want to help. I want to help, and that's when you find yourself in that flow state. So we got this new idea. I need you guys tap and tap and tap and tap and tap. Let's run these numbers up. We need energy. We need energy. We need energy. I gotta be at the gym in about an hour, and I'm saying an hour is actually about 45 minutes, but I'm my own boss. I work for me. What they gonna do about it? Okay. So, you got this new idea and you want to get this idea into the 98%, but the critical mind isn't allowing it in. How do we get a hold in the critical mind and get the critical mind to let us go in here and start turning some of these negative associations into powerful affirmations? Getting some of these negative thoughts around money, getting some of these negative thoughts around love, how do we start changing those? In the positives. Give me some ideas. What y'all got? What are some of your tools for making new associations in the subconscious mind? We're going to change these back to negative because we ain't did the work yet. What are some of your tools? Let's talk about why these tools work sometimes and other times they don't. Affirmations. Okay. Affirmations is a great tool if utilized correctly. I'm going to say something that might catch you off guard. Y'all ready? Doing affirmations is stupid. In fact, that's the title for the room tomorrow. I know it's going to fill up. The algorithm going to go crazy because people can go, no, doing affirmations is not stupid. Doing affirmations is a waste of time. Doing affirmations is stupid. Now what you got to do is you got to become the affirmation. When you do the affirmation, that means you up here in the 2%. You stuck in logic, you stuck in reason, you stuck in analysis. You using willpower and you trying to use your power to make decision. That's only two percent of who you are. When you want to affect change, you gotta become the affirmation. Think about Muhammad Ali. Muhammad Ali didn't say, "I am fast. I am a good boxer. I hit people really hard." Muhammad Ali said, "Baby, I flow like a butterfly, stand like a bee. The hands can't touch what the eyes can't see." 25 years old and I'm pretty. I'm pretty. It ain't a scratch on my face. Look at me. Joe Frazier can't touch me. Joe Frazier is slow. I'm fast. I'm lightning fast. Look, I'm so fast last night I hit the switch and I was in bed before the room was even dark. He is becoming the affirmation. A lot of people do their affirmation and they leave the affirmation in the bathroom mirror. They go in the bathroom in the morning and go, I am peace. I am love. But then they get in their car, they get in traffic and be frustrated. and be angry at the world. Then they get to work and in the parking lot they affirming, Crystal better not say nothing to me today. That girl, if I go in this office and that girl says something to me, I'mma slap her. I know her big ass ate my food. She think I don't? Like, they left the affirmation in the bathroom. You gotta become the affirmation and take it into your day with you. So affirmations are great, but we gotta remember that the subconscious mind runs off feeling, emotion, and memory. Feeling, emotion, and memory. If you're doing affirmation but it's no feeling, no emotion, and no memory, it's actually going to reinforce the negative associations. Okay, so do the affirmation, but same way you put on a shirt, I need you to put on the affirmation. I'm a dope speaker. I can go on any stage in any country anywhere, and I can stand before or after anybody. I'mma set the stage on fire. I'm charismatic. I'm chill. I'm calm. I love to do this thing where I get out of the way and I let God put on the Jay Shaw costume and God take over. And I'm just sitting there watching. Your affirmations should excite you so much they should be like caffeine. You shouldn't even be able to do them after a certain time of day. You should have a hard rule of, man, I can't do affirmations after 6 PM. I ain't gonna be able to sleep tonight. I'mma end up working on my business if I do my affirmations too late. I'm gonna end up at the gym if I start doing my affirmations. I could be doing half anything I desire. If I could think it, I could do it. Any idea that I put in my head, any desire that's in my heart, I can turn that thing into reality. I'm him. I'm made in the image of the Creator, and I have no choice but to create. Your affirmations should— you should do your affirmations like— I hear some people do the affirmation and they sound like they reading scripture. Like, you don't talk like that. Your affirmations need to be in your voice. Like money fucking loves it here. My relationship to money is that of a pimp to a hoe. I expect my money to go out and come back multiplied. I'm a money magnet. Money sticks to me. Money wants to kick it with me. My money can't wait to have money babies. Like yo, you gotta affirm how you talk. When you go on a rampage, I don't want you to just go find 100 random affirmations online. I want you to find affirmations That meet you where you are. And let me tell you something, when you first starting to work on these negative beliefs, especially if you got a big cluster of them like we got here, your affirmations might have to start out general. Your affirmations might not be, I am a millionaire, because what's going to happen is if every time you say, I'm a millionaire, and that critical mind still closed, every time you go, I am a millionaire, critical mind go, no, you ain't. Reinforce the negative. I am a millionaire. No, you're not. Reinforce the negative. So you might have to start with something general like, I got the potential to do more than I'm doing. I'm smart, I'm creative, I'm full of good ideas. Other people do it, why can't I? If you put my hand and LeBron James' hand under the microscope, you can't tell them 2 hands apart. I'm made out of the same stuff as LeBron James. I'm made out of the same stuff as Bob Proctor. If Bob Proctor can do it, why can't I? I can do this stuff. I'm gonna start holding myself more accountable. I'm gonna start taking more action. I'm getting 1% better every day. The better I get, the better I feel. The better I feel, the better I get. So you see how I'm affirming around my money? What I'm doing is I'm hitting these associations from the back door. I'm not hitting them head on. I'm good at making money. That might Even though that might be true, the association is that I don't feel like it's true. I don't got memories to show that it's true. So some of them you got to hit from the back door, and you do that by being general. Like when I'm working with people who want to quit smoking, one of the ways I like to backdoor them, I say, so you telling me you can't go more than 2 or 3 hours without a cigarette? Not at all, man. So how many hours a night you sleep? About 6 or 7. You wake up in the middle of the night to smoke? Uh, no, maybe if I like go to the bathroom, but I don't wake up just to smoke. I said, oh, so you can go 6 or 7 hours without smoking? And they go, wait, boom, you're right, I can. I said, you ever travel? Yeah, I travel for work sometimes. I said, what you do on the airplane, man? You can't fly on it, you can't smoke on the airplane. You know what, I flew to Utah last week, man, I went 6 hours without a cigarette. How was that for you? Man, I was trying to make my flight and working on my presentation for when I land. I wasn't even thinking about it. Oh, so you can go 6 hours without even thinking about a— that's interesting, man. But that's the magic. What we doing is slowly taking those associations and putting lines through them. But that's what I call the backdoor method. I'm not hitting it head on. I'm finding other examples where that same thing is true. And we using that to make the new association. Does that make sense? So as you crafting your affirmations, if every time you do the affirmation you can feel a negative association fire off, you got to find a way to backdoor that one. You got to get more general. You got to stop being specific. Now you can get as specific as you want as long as it feels good, but the instant you start feeling like you forcing it, it's time to get More general. It's time to pull back a little bit. Does that make sense? Hey, we up to 21,000 taps. I appreciate y'all, man. Keep them taps coming. Keep those taps coming. All right, and if you haven't hit that follow button, please, please, please hit that. We go on here every morning at 6 AM. Well, Monday through Friday, 6 AM. All right, another way that we can start to— we gotta clean this up a bit. It's too much going on. So take a mental screenshot. You see all of this stuff? I'm gonna put a circle back, but let's get this cleaned up a little bit. Let's start with a fresh board. So we gonna get us a— still use a circle. That's more of an O, but that's a circle. And I'm gonna see, do y'all remember these regions of my— what's this down here? What's this 98%, this bigger portion down here? It's not drawn to scale, but that bigger portion, what portion of the mind is this? The limbic system. Pop quiz. Pop quiz. Subconscious. I love it. What's this middle section right on top of that? I'm gonna just say SC for subconscious. What's the little skinny script right on top of that? Critical mind. I love it. As hypnotists, we call it a critical faculty. But for the purpose of our discussion, we're going to call it the critical mind. And what we got up here? And it's going to be times where I make you guys say it, because if I say it, you might hear it. If I say it, you might get it. But if you say it, oh man, it locks in. If you say it, your neurology starts to play with it. That's right, the conscious mind. All right, so subconscious mind runs off of feeling, emotion, and memory. So let me show you something. This is a shortcut to success. And that's an act, in case you can't tell. The key to change— if I can get you feeling like what you want, you'll think different on accident. And if you're feeling different and thinking different, you ain't got no choice but to act different. What's going on? Does that make sense? If I could get you feeling successful, you'll start thinking successful on accident. And if you're feeling successful and thinking successful, guess what? You ain't got no choice but to act successful. Where a lot of people screw it up is they try to just jump to this. They go, I'm gonna fake it till I make it. That's not gonna work. What you gotta do is what we call be, do, and have. Have. Before you can have it, you got to do it. Before you can do it, you got to become the type of person who can do it. If you want to have the life of an entrepreneur, you got to do entrepreneurship. Before you can do entrepreneur, you got to become entrepreneur. In our community, we got a— in our classroom, we got a workshop on what we call the becoming. What's going on, Yama? The becoming. The becoming teaches you how to be here, want to be here, and the becoming is all about how do I close that gap. Let me see an emoji in the box if right now you got a gap you trying to close. We, um, getting to the tail end of our time, so I want somebody with a real gap who open to having a real discussion, and we're going to talk about what closing that gap look like. What kind of gap we want to talk about? We want to talk about a money gap. We want to talk about a love gap. We want to talk about a health gap. What kind of gap y'all want to have this discussion around as we get ready to land this plane? And if you got any questions, because I know we kind of, man, we didn't talk about mind control. We didn't talk about the faculties of the mind. We didn't talk about the theory of mind. Okay, money. Money, money, money, money, money. I love it. Let's pick up with money. So let's say, I know for a fact, if the money not showing up, I know you got negative associations around money. It's impossible to have all these associations cleaned up and the money not show up. So let's say you got these negative associations around money. They outvoted you, goddess. But if we have time, I'll spin back and talk about love and the same thing. So subconscious runs off feeling, emotion, and memory. Conscious mind runs off logic, reason, analysis, and willpower. And I'm willing to bet most people have been up here in the 2% trying to get their money. They've been using their logic. Hey, they say crypto popping, let me go over there. Okay, let me learn crypto. They using their reason, they using their analysis, they using their willpower. I'm gonna work more hours for sure, for sure. For sure, for sure. Appreciate you for coming through, Niche. They've been using their logic, their reasoning, and their analysis to try to get money. And what's happening is they putting the 2% up against the 98%. I look at the 98% like an elephant. Believe it or not, this is an elephant. My iPad got me spoiled. I was going to press back to make the trunk disappear. Yeah, that's an elephant. That actually turned out better than I thought it would. All right, that's the elephant. So this is the subconscious mind, the elephant, and this little ant on the back is the conscious mind. So I want you to imagine that what you want is— no, what you don't want is over here, and what you want is over here. I want you to imagine that the ant is going toward what you want and the elephant is going toward what you don't want. Okay? Can y'all see that good? So you got this elephant and you got this ant on the elephant's back. The ant is going towards what you desire. The elephant is going toward what you don't desire. This ant got a problem because one of this elephant steps is probably 2,000 of the ant steps. Right. So what we got to do if we ever want to get over here is we got to convince the elephant to go this way. And if we just can convince the elephant to go that way, the ant don't even got to move. The ant can sit back and kick his feet up and the elephant will walk over to the desire. So if you in a money block right now, this is you. The elephant is walking towards what you don't want. And the ant is on the elephant's back running, trying everything to get to where it want to be. It ain't gonna make it because the elephant can take 3 steps and undo what the ant been doing, working on for the last 6 months. So how do we get the elephant to go this way? So we got to start turning these associations into positives. Now, one of the ways that we talked about getting new associations is through affirmation. But we talked about how the affirmations only work if they stir up feeling, emotion, and memory. If it don't do that, it's not going to make new associations. So other tools that people use are— let's talk about some of the other tools real quick. We got affirmations, we got vision boards, we got incantations. What's some of the other manifestation tools? You got focus wheels, you got journaling, scripting. What's some other tools that y'all like to use for manifesting? And real quick, while y'all typing that, let's talk about what manifesting actually means. Most people don't know what manifesting means. When you look up the word manifest in the dictionary, it actually means to make clear or obvious to the mind. It don't mean to hope for. It don't mean to wish for. It means to make clear or obvious to the eye or the mind. So even right now, you manifest. Is it— if it's obvious to you that I'm broke, it's obvious to you that I don't got enough, it's obvious to you that things aren't working out for me. That's what I'm manifesting because that's what's obvious to my mind. So one of the tools that you got to start using is you got to start finding evidence of abundance right here, right now. How folks find evidence of abundance when I don't got any money, Jay? Um, I don't know. Do you got 2 eyes that work? Can you hear what I'm saying right now? You at least got a cell phone. Did the sun come up for you this morning? Is there oxygen outside for you to inhale and exhale? Are the planets the perfect proximity that they need to be for me? Do you realize the amount of miracles that had to take place for you to be here, right here, right now? And this is— we were talking about that backdoor method. This is how you backdoor your lack mindset. You don't look at your abundance in terms of money. Like I realized that my ideas is where my money come from. I literally get paid for my ideas. So if I got ideas, I got money. So if I look at my bank account, the bank account getting low, I say, "Ooh, time to put some new ideas to work. Time to put new ideas to work." I want you to stop counting the money that you lack and start count where is your abundance at in your life? Is your abundance in your children? Is your abundance in your support system? You got to take your attention off of what you don't want and get. crystal clear about what you would rather have. What do you want? What does the conscious mind words say? I know the first one say— oh, logic, reason, analysis, willpower, and decision-making is supposed to be on there, but it's not. So DM would be decision-making. Logic, reason, analysis, willpower, and decision-making. But let's talk more about the faculties of this subconscious mind. It runs off of feeling, emotion, and memory. Let me tell you something. The same way you can remember the past and respond to it, you can predict the future and respond to it. If we— Let's say that this is a TV. Gonna go old school TV, the one your grandma used to have to sit on the floor. Got them 2 little knobs right here. She probably had an antenna on the top of that boy. Yeah, we gonna go old school TV. Okay. Now let's say you turn this TV on a sad movie. Let's zoom that in a little bit. Let's say you put that TV on a sad movie. If you put that TV on a sad movie, do you gotta try to feel sad or do you just gotta You gotta watch the movie. You gotta watch the movie. Let's say you turn off that sad movie and you put on a funny movie. Do you gotta try to laugh or do you just gotta watch the movie? Now it actually gotta be your style of funny. Like, I hate like slapstick corny comedy. That ain't my style of comedy. So like the Will Ferrell and like that, that ain't my— that ain't— it's funny to some people, it's not funny to me. So that might not make me laugh, but if I put it on my brand of funny, if I put it on what I consider to be funny, then I ain't got to try to laugh. I just got to watch the TV. Let me ask you this. If you get a clear picture about where you would like to be financially, In the next year, let's say you say, man, if I lock down and get this thing, I ain't even gonna give it 100%. Let's say I get this thing 85% for the next year. What do I really believe my financial situation can look like? You got to be believable. You're not— because subconscious mind, it got to be believable. But if you say, man, I firmly believe that if I lock down in a year from now, I could be making $1,500. A week, and you put that on that TV and you start watching it. And as you're watching it— let's zoom out a little bit here— as you're watching it, you start adding feeling, you start adding emotion to it. You keep watching it, you add— you seeing yourself making $1,500 a week, you feeling the excitement of the $1,500 a week, you building a budget based on $1,500. Man, $1,500 a week, that's $6,000 a month. My kids can afford to do this. My kids afford to do this. I got some wiggle room in the budget. This is great. And you creating memories around it with repetition. Repetition is important. Repetition. If you was coming to me for hypnosis and let's say you wanted to quit smoking, I'm probably going to call you a nonsmoker a few hundred times in about 2 hours. And I'm going to do it from all sorts. I'm going to say, so now that you're a nonsmoker, what you going to do with all this extra money that you no longer spending to suck cancer out of a straw? And in order to ask that question— answer that question, you got to go sit in the neurology of a nonsmoker. So now that you're a nonsmoker, how much more fun are you going to be able to have with your kids now that you can be in the yard and you can play and you can breathe? Your teeth gonna be brighter and your skin not gonna wrinkle as fast. Man, you a nonsmoker. That's crazy. Now that you a nonsmoker, what you gonna do with all that extra time? You was going outside twice an hour for 15 minutes, bro. You was spending 4 hours of your day sucking poison out of a straw. What you finna do with all this extra time? Because you a non-smoker now. What your friends gonna say when you show up to work as a non-smoker? What they gonna say when they go out to smoke and you go, no, I don't smoke no more? What they gonna say? Because you a non-smoker now. Part of what I'm doing is I'm using repetition. Now, it's other things at play, but one of my biggest tools as a hypnotist is repetition, repetition, repetition, repetition. So what I need you to do is I need you to get crystal clear on what you want, rather it be money, rather it be love, rather it be A new business, rather it be a new relationship. I don't care what it is. I need you to get crystal clear on what you want. We're gonna run through the five C's in about eight minutes because I gotta get to the gym. Look for the eraser, the big eraser. There we go. We're gonna run through the five C's because I could take a roundabout approach to explaining this, but I designed the five C's so I didn't have to. So let me take y'all through the five C's. Any of y'all ever heard of the 5 C's before? And if you haven't hit that follow button, go ahead and hit that follow button. I'm going to give you guys some free resources and tools when I finish telling you guys about 5 C's. Give you guys some study materials so when y'all come in here the next time, y'all can know the language and we can really take off. So 5 C's is my success formula. And I developed the 5C formula because about 10 years ago I got really jealous of my clients. I noticed that my clients were moving and they were moving fast and they were making progress. So what I said is, you know what, every Wednesday at 10 AM I'm gonna start putting me on my schedule and I'm gonna start working on me. Because if I'm doing it for other people, why can't I do it for me? And I started trying to do it, but I had a problem. I knew how to do it out there, but I couldn't turn my process inwardly. Like, it was just a disconnect. I didn't— I knew what I was doing, But I didn't know how to do what I was doing to me. Does that make sense? It's kind of like parallel parking. I'm teaching my little cousin how to drive, and it was time to parallel park. I know how to parallel park. I'm really good at it. But as I was trying to explain it to him, I'm like, how long you out the car? Let me see. So let me do it. Then as I was doing it, I really had to go, okay, back to about here. It's more of a feeling than a logical thing. Like my subconscious mind. I don't do it consciously. I do it subconsciously. Because I've done it so many times. But I started recording my sessions and listening back to my sessions, and I noticed it was 5 things that I did in every session, always in this order. First thing I help them do is to get clarity. Get clarity. People would always come into my office, and to this day they still do, they always come in my office talking about what they don't want. The first step of the 5C process is to get them clear on what they would rather have. I gotta get them looking at this thing that they don't want and saying, okay, I see this. I'm not gonna get hypnotized by this. What would I rather have? And that's what we call clarity. I'm in my relationship. I don't like the way I'm being treated. I feel like my words don't matter. I see it. I respond to it. I'm human. I feel it in my body. But instead of getting wrapped up in it, instead of getting hypnotized by it, I ask myself, what would I rather have? Hmm, I'd rather feel respected. I'd rather feel valued. I want to feel like I matter. I want to feel like I'm part of a team. So, I help them start getting clarity. Okay, so now we know what you want. My next question is, how will you know when you have it? If you woke up tomorrow and you were respected, you were valued, and you mattered, and you were on a team, how would you know? We would do more things together. We would—I would look forward to coming home. I would get this energy sometimes they walk in the room. I mean, we would still have disagreements and stuff, but we would have these disagreements respectfully. We will listen. We would hear each other out. So you got to get clear. You got to get clear about what you want, and you got to get clear about how will I know when I have it. It got to be measurable. So that's the first C, clarity. Any questions about clarity? What's the roadmap to clarity? Look at what you don't want. Ask yourself what you would rather have. List out what you would rather have. Then next box is, how will I know when I have it? What's the measuring stick? If I got a lack of money, I got a shortage of money, I want more money. I want enough money to pay my bills with ease. I want enough money that my kids kids can do all the activities that they want to do. I want enough money that if somebody I care about, somebody in my inner circle needs a little bit of help, I'm in a position where I can help them. That number is $25,000 a month. I want $25,000 a month. I want $25,000 a month. How will I know when I'm getting it? I know I'm getting it when I'm making $6,000 to $7,000 a week. I know I get it when I see the notifications on my phone. I know I get it when my computer software is saying this, this, this, and this. I'm looking at what I don't want. I'm saying, what would I rather have? I'm listing out what I would rather have. Then I'm saying, how will I know when I get it? What are the tangible things that have to be there? That's clarity. Our next C is calibration. Calibration is all about getting under the influence of the clarity. Most people got clarity About what they don't want, so that's what they calibrate to. They calibrate to what they don't want. When you're using the five C strategy, you're gonna get clarity and you're gonna start to calibrate to what you want. Calibration simply means to put your attention on it. Let's go back to Grandma House. Grandma got a nicer TV this time. We're gonna put her some little buttons down here at the bottom, and we're gonna give you the remote. That's a remote, all right? That's the remote. Now let's say you use this remote and you got this picture on this TV of what you want. You want more money, you want more freedom, you want the feeling of success. Now if you just put your eyeballs on that TV and start watching it, That's what we call calibrating. Calibrating is about thinking about it often. And when I'm calibrating, I'm not thinking— a lot of people make this mistake— I'm not thinking about the absence of it. I'm thinking about having it. I'm thinking about moving towards it. A lot of people go, man, I do it all the time. But you doing it from under the influence of what you don't want. I do my affirmations every day. You do your affirmations, but you do your affirmations, but as you're doing them, you feeling the lack of the You feeling, I want this thing that I don't have, that's not here yet, but I'm gonna do my affirmation so I can get this thing that's not here yet that I don't have, but I'm gonna do my affirmations because I really want this thing that I don't have. And so you saying the right stuff, but you giving off an energy of lack. You gonna start watching your vision, you gonna start watching your dream, but you watching it and you literally feeling the excitement of having. You are calibrating to the idea. So the one thing that you got to learn about the subconscious mind is that it works by this pattern of familiar and unfamiliar. The subconscious mind doesn't do good and bad. It works by familiar and unfamiliar. If it's familiar, I pull it close. If it's unfamiliar, I push it away. So if money is unfamiliar to you, if freedom is unfamiliar to you, success is unfamiliar, you got to start thinking about it because that's how you make it familiar. You got this part of the brain called the thalamus, and the thalamus is responsible for a lot of things. But in the sense we're talking about right now, it's responsible for sensory information. The things you bring in through the senses is processed in the thalamus. You know what else comes in through the thalamus? Things you imagine. The brain can't tell the difference. I'm not gonna say it can't tell the difference, but it goes in the same pile. The stuff that happens in real life and the stuff that you imagine goes into the same pile and activates the same nervous system. That's why you can watch TV and even though you know it's not real, it can Even though you know it's not real, it can still piss you off. Boy, um, when I used to watch them old seasons of Power, I used to want to whoop Tyreke's ass. And it was people in real life trying to fight this little boy. But that's the thalamus at work. The frontal lobe knows it's not real. The thalamus is like, I don't care, I'm responding to it. I'm responding to it. I see what's happening. I'm assigning meaning to it. I'm responding to it. You got to start making what you want familiar. You got to put it on the TV. You got to stop watching what you don't want, and you got to turn on this movie about what you want. You got to start giving your attention to it on purpose daily. That's the calibration phase. Now, when you do that repetitiously, what's going to happen is you're going to move into this third stage. What's the third stage? Confidence. Now, my definition of confidence is that I'm so calibrated that what goes on out there doesn't matter. When I was calibrating, I had to be looking at the TV to feel that way. I had to be doing my affirmations to feel that way. I had to be doing the work to feel that way. But confidence is when I can bring the feeling with me and the TV ain't nowhere in sight. Confidence is when my mom can say, I don't think that's a good idea. You shouldn't do that. And I go, love you, Mama, but I'm not calibrated to you. I'm calibrated to my clarity. That's what confidence is. Confidence is when your best friend not sharing your stuff on Facebook, but you don't care because you're not calibrated to whether or not they sharing it. You calibrated to what you set out to do. Confidence is when— so we've been live for about an hour and a half. It's been as many as 85 people in here. It's been as few as 3 people in here. Confidence allows me to sit in the same type of Energy, no matter how many people. I don't care if it's two people in this room. I don't care if it's two thousand people in this room. I'm not calibrated to this number. I'm calibrated to my clarity. I did my time of calibrating. I watched that TV. I see myself talking to the masses. I see my seminars being sold out. I see the money in my account already. So by the time I show up on a live, I don't need appreciation from people. You know, if people go, man, that live is what I need. I appreciate it. I'm not going to shut you down and say, shut up, I don't need to hear that, but I don't need it to tap into my bag. It was a version of me that, man, I could— it was a version of me that knew this stuff, could deliver it just as well, but if I didn't have people in the crowd nodding their head and going, ooh, shaking their head— I grew up in a Black church, so it was a time where people weren't screaming and applauding, I felt like I wasn't hitting the mark. But as we developed the 5C, I realized that what my success What successful clients was doing is they was getting clear about what they wanted. They were getting calibrated to it, and they were so calibrated and confident in it that it didn't matter what they said on CNN. It didn't matter what they said on MSNBC. You going into a recession. I'm not. I got a clear picture in my mind of where you headed, and I'm not going to let a picture of a recession replace this picture that I got in my mind. So, that's what confidence is all about. Confidence is being so good, so calibrated that you can take it with you. And you could be in the midst of circumstances that you don't like, but it don't matter because you're not calibrated to that circumstance. You calibrated to this. But if you don't got this— most people don't have this. They don't got clarity. They don't know what they want. What's going on, Doc? Most people— imagine this, how crazy would it be if you got in an Uber and said, don't take me to the mall, I hate the mall, it's too expensive. Who you think paying $250 for one pair of shoes? I'm not. And all those teenagers there, ain't nobody watching them. They stealing, they fighting. Don't take me to the mall. You like going to the mall? That's stupid. Why you like going to the mall? You in the back of an Uber, but you having a conversation about where you don't want to go. Or imagine going to a buffet. You love steak, you love potatoes, and instead of going to the buffet and fixing you some steak and potatoes, you going, why they got liver and onions? I hate liver and onions. Who put that here? Why is that here? You eat Why you eat that? And you gonna put your sweets on the plate with your salty? Why are you doing that? Why don't you go fix your plate and sit the fuck down? Sorry, the creator in me just, just like, go create. Like, stop complaining and start creating. You're not a waiter, you are a creator. You didn't come here to wait, you came here to create. But creation requires clarity. Before you can start creating, you got to get clear about what That's what you want. And if you want to be a good creator, you want to create it fast, the faster you calibrate to it, the faster you can create it. So you got to put these 2 together. And if you put these 2 together repetitiously enough, you will accidentally become confident in the calibration. People reading books about how to become confident, they want techniques to become confident. Well, if I breathe this way, I could be confident. If I have this type of body language, I could be confident. If you get clear about what you want and you start thinking about it and you make it familiar to your mind and you create the neural network and get those neural networks firing together and wired together, you're going to be confident on accident. And can't no book teach you how to do that. Can't no presenter teach you how to do that. Confidence is a subconscious decision to remain calibrated. That's the foundation of success. Clarity, calibration, confidence. Step 4. Competence. Hear me when I say this: step four is not step one. Step four is step four. A lot of times people think that step four is step one. Step four is not step one. Step four Step 4 is step 4. A lot of times people try to jump right to competence. Well, when you go right to competence without clarity, without calibration, and without confidence, it's not gonna land. I'm gonna start a business. I'm gonna start networking. For sure. It's clothing. You can put it on and on and off. And confidence, the thing about confidence is it's like a gas tank. You can't wait till the tank— you can, but I suggest you, you fill that shit up at 3/4 of a tank. Don't let the tank run empty. I've been doing what I do for a long time. I still do affirmations around confidence. I still imagine myself confident. I still get in the mirror and practice my craft. I, I repetitiously work my comp— your confidence is going to take hits every day. Your confidence is going to take hits every day. I remember when I first started getting on TikTok. I came from a platform where I had well over 30,000 followers. The instant I hit live, it was 100 and some people in the room. When I first got on TikTok, my confidence took a hit. I'm not gonna be crazy and let my tank run low. I'm finna get in my imagination. The subconscious mind runs off feeling, emotion, and memory. I'm finna remember what it feels like to be in a room full of people. I'm finna remember the energy, and I'm gonna sit in In that energy, and I'm gonna use that energy and force this room to calibrate to me. Because what you got to realize is that the world calibrates to you. The world calibrates to your confidence. The world treats you how you expect to be treated. But what you got to do is like yesterday's room. I think the highest yesterday's room got is twelve people. The highest today's room got is eighty eight people. But if I would have sat in the energy of the twelve people. We wouldn't have had 88 people in the room today. I can always tell when I'm starting to teach too deeply, because what happens is the masses disappear and only the people who really ready, who really ready. Because most people just want to feel good. They want to get a quick dopamine hit and keep living the life that they've been living. They want to go to Barnes Noble, get a new book, read a few pages of it. Okay, I feel a little better now. They want to watch The Secret. Okay, I feel a little better now. But these the people who, like, I want a new life. I don't want to just feel better. I want a new life. So this is how I always weed them out. I say, let's get into the nuts and bolts of it. But competence is step 4. Competence is step 4. If you want to start being a streamer, I want to start streaming, but you don't take time to get clarity, calibration, and confidence, what happens is you get on the screen and you on this, you go, hey y'all, what's up? I ain't doing nothing. I'm just, um, I'm chilling. Y'all listen to some music. What y'all want to do? Like, what you mean what we want to do? This is your life. But if you ain't got no clarity, no calibration, and no confidence, you can't make it do what it do. You trying to start a business, you trying to build a website, you trying to come up with a logo, you trying to name the business, you're trying to make a business plan— good luck with no clarity, no calibration, and no confidence. A lot of people done tried entrepreneurship But they tried it without clarity, without calibration, without confidence. A lot of people done tried marriage, but they tried it without clarity, without calibration, without confidence. I did. Yeah, I got married when I was 20. I had no clarity, I had no vision, I ain't have no where we was going. I was semi-calibrated. It was my first time ever being in a relationship where I was being faithful. This is my first time being faithful. I was unclear, uncalibrated, unconfident. The marriage crashed and burned. But if I ever do marriage again, I'm gonna make sure that I'm clear, calibrated, and confident before I ask anybody's daughter to marry me. If I take anybody's daughter's hand in marriage, I'm gonna be clear, calibrated, and confident. Then I'm gonna do the doing. A lot of people try to do the doing and then circle back to the clarity, the calibration, and confidence. I'm not saying it's impossible, but it's so much easier to get the clarity, the calibration, and confidence on the front end Then take action. Step four is not step one. Makes sense. Last C is consistency. Consistency. I've been doing what I do for two decades. I'm still getting clarity, and as I get more clarity, I gotta calibrate to the new clarity. And as I get more calibrated, guess what? My confidence. going to go up. But as my confidence goes up, guess what else better go up? My competence. I can't have my confidence here and my competence here. That's bad. So I got to bring that competence up to match my confidence. Then I make it to the end, I go right back to the beginning. That's the 5 C's, guys. You could throw this at your marriage, you could throw this at your money, you could throw this at your weight, you could throw this at your health. You can throw this at any area of your life that you want. Get clear about what you want, get calibrated to it, get confident in the calibration, then do whatever it takes. Read whatever books you got to read. If you need coaching, get coaching. If you need to go back to school, go back to school. But I don't want you going back to school without clarity, calibration, and confidence. I don't want you investing in an $8,000 coaching program without clarity, calibration, and confidence. Even if it's my $8,000 coaching program, I don't want you investing in it without clarity, calibration, and confidence. And once you got that foundation of clarity, calibration, and confidence, this piece begins a lot easier. If I got to learn how to build a website, I'm going to learn how to build a website. And if I don't want to learn how to build a website, I'm going to go make the money to pay somebody to build me a website. But the fact of the matter is, I'm getting the website for sure, Sydney. I'm getting the website. And that's where you see people with their tenacity, you see people with their drive, you see people with They willing to do whatever it takes. That's because they got clarity, calibration, and confidence. But people who start on this step without clarity, calibration, and confidence, they usually quit at the first excuse they get.
