Big Abundant breaks down Neville Goddard's Feeling Is the Secret, arguing that disciplining your imagination and feelings, not willpower, shapes reality. Prayer works as a passive state where you feel you already have what you want, not as a request. He walks through a smoking-cessation example where feeling like a non-smoker erases the craving.

What's good? What's good? Big Abundant in the building. Uh, we're going live through some new software, so y'all give me some time while I'm over here clicking around and figuring stuff out. But, uh, let's get some music going too. Yeah, let's do that. Not that though. We gonna kill that. But yo, we finna have some fun, man. If y'all been kicking it with me these past few, um, I guess about this past week, we've been working through Phil and Nils' Secret by Neville Goddard. So we gonna do, um, a little revamp, talking about all the stuff we've talked about up until this point, and we're gonna Keep it pushing. Turn it down a little bit so y'all get with me. Hold on, let me know where y'all tapping in from, man. You'll see at the bottom that I got a new coaching program that I'm dropping, and it's only gonna be $20 a month to come kick it with us. If you interested in being in that group of people, information down there. Text yeah to the phone number down there. We're gonna get moving, man. But for people who already watching, hey, how you doing? I don't know which website you on, but it's like buttons and subscribe buttons and share buttons. Use those buttons. While we get stuff together, man. Yeah, use those buttons while we get this thing together. Okay, got that going. Let's see, trying to make sure that this working on, uh, Instagram. I'm just gonna trust that it's working. I can't see the chat on Instagram though. Oh well, we'll have to figure all this. I got my mic turned around backwards. Hopefully y'all can hear me okay, but we should be good. But, um, quick recap, man. We've been working out of Feeling Is the Secret by Neville Goddard. We've already did chapters 1, 2, and 3, so I'm gonna give y'all a quick recap and read through some of the highlights that I got done in those chapters. And these are some really short chapters, these some brief chapters, but the teaching going on in these short brief chapters is, is masterful, man. Neville Goddard, in my opinion, is the godfather of everything law of attraction. Every— everybody who talk about law of attraction, The Secret, is— it's Neville Goddard. They putting their own spin on Neville's stuff, and I'm pretty sure Neville was putting his own spin on somebody else's stuff. but Neville really resonates with me, always has. So we finna jump into chapter 1, The Law and Its Operation. I'm just going to, um, read some of the things we got highlighted from this chapter because we already did the deep dive. If you missed it, most of the shorts that I've been doing over the past few days, or reels if you're on Instagram, are from this live stream when we did this. What's up, what's up, man? As people come in, say what's up. If you on, um, Instagram, I don't think your Chat messages gonna show up in the chat. They might, so try it, but I'm not sure. But anyway, so he talks about how we have to turn to consciousness to understand creation because there's only one reality, and that reality is consciousness itself. And he's talking about how in order to operate this law, you got to really understand the difference between your conscious mind and your subconscious mind, because your conscious mind is your selective mind. I like this, I don't like that, I want this, I don't want that. That's the conscious mind, it's selective. Whereas your subconscious mind is no selective person, it will entertain anything that you present to it. They don't care if it's real, but the subconscious mind passes a message down— I mean, if the conscious mind passes a message down to the subconscious, it's going to react as if it's true. So we have to be careful of the messages that we're giving to our subconscious because it don't care about fact or fiction. Anything that it gets hold of, it treats it as if it's true. But that's what the first page of this chapter was talking about. He talks about how the conscious is male, the subconscious is female, how the conscious generates ideas, then it impresses these ideas on the subconscious, and the subconscious receives these ideas and gives form and expression to them. But yep, yep, yep. And then he goes on to say, through our power to imagine and feel, we could— hold on. Through our— therefore, through his power to imagine and feel and his freedom to choose the idea he will entertain, man has control over creation. Control of the subconscious is control— is accomplished through control of your ideas and feelings. So you can't control the subconscious directly. But through controlling your ideas and your feelings and the things you entertain, then you can control your subconscious mind. So it's really important to monitor what you eat because you are what you eat, not just physically, you are what you eat mentally as well. So the ideas you entertain through TV, the ideas you entertain through Instagram, the ideas you entertain through your friend group and the things you let come in, you got to be careful because it doesn't take a hypnotist to hypnotize you. You don't gotta understand hypnosis to hypnotize people. Anybody who's listening to you, and as they're listening to you, they're creating images in their head, and you're moving their emotions, and you're changing how they feel. We're constantly hypnotizing each other. So simply what he's saying is be careful who and what you allow to hypnotize you, because anything that you're interacting with is putting impressions onto your subconscious mind. So it's times where you might be feeling icky and you feeling down, and you don't even quite understand why. Why are you feeling down? What have you been watching? Who have you been hanging out with? What have you been giving your attention to? What have you been eating? Are you giving your body the things that it needs to feel good? Do you have water in your body? Do you have protein in your body? Are you watching a whole bunch of garbage? Like, it— it— all of those things go into the equation of how you feel. And once the subconscious mind gets a hold of something, you're not just gonna yank it From it. It's like a dog with a bone. Once it locks onto an emotion, that emotion is going to run its course. And it's as it picks up momentum, sometimes you got to let it die down. A lot of times somebody might be practicing something like depression or practicing feeling down on theyself for 6 months or 7 months, 2 years, 3 years before they book a session with me. We might not get that out of there in one session. We can get you feeling better in that first session, but in 6 months, in 2 years, that thing picked up some Momentum. It's not gonna come to just an abrupt stop. It got a law— law of attraction been, been running its course, and it's not just gonna instantly slow down. We're gonna have to gradually slow it down and then take it back this way. So it's better to catch those things early on, catch it when it— when it's an itty-bitty small thought instead of feeding it and letting it grow and become this big treacherous thought. Because now you got to try to wrestle that thing to the ground, and it's not going to be easy. But he talks about how the creative process begins with an idea and its cycle runs its course as a feeling and ends in a volition to act. You never just act. Every act started out as a thought, then a feeling, and then it becomes an action. Thought, feeling, action. Even those things you think you do in the moment, or you think you did spontaneous, there was a thought that took place. That thought turns into a feeling. That feeling turned into an action. And it can happen really quickly. But it still was a thought, then a feeling, then an action. Ain't no such thing as, oh, I just did it. Like, no, you thought something, you felt something, then you just did it. But by control of the feeling is not meant restraint or suppression of your feeling, but rather the disciplining of self to imagine and entertain only such feelings as contribute to your happiness. And I really like that he used the word disciplining, which hints to me that it ain't something that's just gonna happen. It's something you're gonna have to work at, but you got to learn to stop giving your attention to things that don't make you feel good. You can't stare at something that doesn't make you feel good and expect to feel good. Every time I go such and such, I feel like— okay, you got my— it's time to stop going over there. Well, I gotta go over there. Why? Because that's what I always did. Okay, what other reason? That's just the way it got to be. No, it don't. We're creatures of habit. We learn these patterns, and once something becomes a pattern, we convince ourselves that it got to be done. But myself included, we do so much stuff that we don't got to do, then complain about the, the results of— like, bro, be honest, do you really have to do it? And even if you have to do it, do you have to go into it with the mindset that you're going into it with? As humans, we got way more control over how we feel than we take credit for. It's so much easier to blame things outside of us for how we feel than to be accountable and own up to it. But we got a lot of control over how we feel, starting with just the things we put in our body. I'm telling you, it's a game changer. Get enough water in your body for a week and watch how much— not only how much better you feel, how much better you look, how much clearer you think. Get enough protein in your body for a week, watch how clear you think, watch how you processing things better when you're not crashing out at 12 noon, 1 PM. If every day around 3 PM, 4 PM you having anxiety, it could be a blood sugar drop. It's reasonable, and you could have anxiety. I'm not saying that those cases don't exist, but let's check the things that we going in our body. Like, people talk about chemical imbalances, but do you realize you can create a chemical imbalance through what you— you can create a chemical imbalance through what you put in your body? You could create that by control of feeling. Oh, we just read that. So to feel I want to be is confess I am not. That's something that we had highlighted because he was talking about how the dominant of 2 feelings is the one expressed. And I am healthy is a stronger feeling than I will be healthy. To feel I will be is to confess I am not. I am is stronger than I am not. What you feel you are always dominates what you feel you would like to be. Don't let that sink in, but we're gonna go ahead and jump into this 3rd chapter on prayer. The last chapter we did was on sleep, and he was talking about how it's important to consciously pick your thoughts as you fall asleep, because the thoughts you carry into sleep are the thoughts that are going to be impressed into your subconscious mind and acted out the next day. If you want to get real deep into it, you got to go watch the replays and stuff. They there. But let's get to it. We're going to talk about prayer. Let me drop this music. We're gonna kill this music completely, actually. So prayer, like sleep, is also an entrance into the subconscious. When you pray, enter into your closet, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father which is in secret, and your Father which is in secret shall reward you openly. Matthew 6:6. Prayer is an illusion of sleep which diminishes the impression of the outer world and renders the mind more receptive to suggestion from within. The mind in prayer is in a state of relaxation and receptivity akin to the feeling attained just before dropping off to sleep. Prayer is not so much what you ask for as how you prepare for its reception. We're gonna read that again. Prayer is not so much what you ask for as how you prepare for its reception. Whatsoever things ye desire, when ye pray, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them. Mark 11:24. The only condition required is that you believe that your prayers are already realized. Your prayer must be answered if you assume the feeling that would be yours were you already in possession of your objective. The moment you accept the wish as an accomplished fact, the subconscious finds means for its realization. To pray successfully, then, you must yield to the wish— that is, feel the wish fulfilled. The perfectly disciplined man is always in tune with the wish as an accomplished fact. He knows that consciousness is the one and only reality, that ideas and feelings are facts of consciousness and are as real as objects in space. Therefore, He never entertains a feeling which does not contribute to his happiness, for feelings are the cause of the actions and circumstances of his life. We're gonna read that again. It was a lot of stuff in there. The perfectly disciplined man is always in tune with the wish as an accomplished fact. He knows that consciousness is the one and only reality, that ideas and feelings are facts of consciousness and are as real as objects in space. I gotta highlight I love that. Ideas and feelings are facts of consciousness and are as real as objects in space. We, we literally become our feelings. When we feel sad, we don't go, I feel sad. We say, I am— I'm sad. When we feel happy, we don't go, I feel happy. We literally go, I'm happy. However you tend to feel, you, you become it. Even in your— even in your language. Language is powerful, especially as hypnotists. That's a lot of what we listen to. We listen to Not necessarily what people say, but how they say it and how they identify with it. When you feel ugly, you don't go, I feel ugly. You go, I'm ugly. When you feel handsome, you don't go, I feel handsome. You go, I'm handsome. You literally put on your feelings and you wear your feelings and become your feelings. So learning how to discipline your feelings and learning how to put your attention on things that assist you in feeling good and learning how to take your attention away from things that rip you down. Very important. Therefore, he never entertains a feeling which does not contribute to his happiness, for feelings are the cause of the actions and circumstances of his life. On the other hand, the undisciplined man finds it difficult to believe that which is defined by the senses and usually accepts or rejects solely on appearances of the senses. Because of this tendency to rely on the evidence of the senses, it is necessary to shut them out before starting to pray, before attempting to feel that which they deny. Whenever you're in a state of mind, I should like to but I cannot, the harder you try, the less you are able to yield to the wish. You never attract that which you want, but always attract that which you are conscious of being. Prayer is the art of assuming the feeling of being and having that which you want. When the senses confirm the absence of your wish, all conscious effort to counteract that suggestion is futile and tends to intensify the suggestion. That's why when we hypnotize people, we have them close their eyes. Then we might start out saying things like, you can hear my voice and all the other sounds in the room, but as you take those deep breaths in and relax, you can become aware of the different sensations in your body. And as you become aware of the different sensations in your body, I want you to just put your attention at the top of your head and feel a warm sense of relaxation and feel that relaxation jump Down all throughout your body. Feel it in your shoulders. What we're doing is we're taking your attention from the bills, from the kids, from the job, from the stress, and we're taking your, your attention from all of those external things and we're putting your undivided attention inside your body. We're taking it from the conscious and putting it on the unconscious. All of these things is going on under the consciousness. That's what we're doing. We're getting you to stop focusing on what is because you can't change what is when you focused on it. In order to change what is, you got to let it go, take your attention from it, and go inside to create a new beginning in the subconscious. You got to be born again, essentially. But let's get back to Neville. Whenever you're in a state of mind, I should like to but I cannot, the harder you try, the less you're able to yield the wish. We call it the law of reverse action. You never attract that which you want, but always attract that which you are conscious of being. I'm gonna say that again. You never attract that which you want, but you always attract that which you are conscious of being. Prayer is the art of assuming the feeling of being and having that which you want. When the senses confirm the absence of your wish, all conscious effort to counteract this suggestion is futile and tends to intensify the suggestion. Prayer is the art of yielding to the wish and not the forcing of the wish. Whenever your feeling is in conflict with your wish, feeling will be the victor. The dominant feeling invariably expresses itself. Prayer must be without effort. In attempting to fix an attitude of mind which is denied by the senses, effort is fatal. So when you're doing your journaling, when you're doing your vision boards, when you're doing your affirmations, you don't want to be this Like I'm, I'm doing it so hard. If I say it hard enough, I'll get it. If I can think it hard enough, I get it. You want it to be effortless because really that straining for it is reinforcing the lack of it. I think about it, when you go see a hypnotist, we telling you to relax, take deep breaths, let go, drift, float. We giving you all of these different metaphors. It's essentially telling you stop fucking stressing about it so your subconscious can fix Your subconscious can't fix it when you stressing about it. You remember people used to wear their little wristbands to say, let go and let God? That's essentially what a hypnotist is doing. We're getting you to let go so God can fix it. You can't fix it. If you could fix it, it would be fixed already. And you stressing over it ain't allowing you to tap into the creative sources that could fix it. So all of this that we just read is saying prayer is essentially letting go so God can put his hands on That makes sense. Let it go. Relax. Your job is to trust that it's already done. And from that place of trusting that it's already done, the resources can show up, the ideas can show up, the creativity can show up, and you can spark it. But when you stress, you could be standing right next to the solution, but when you so focused and locked in and you're one with the problem, the solution gonna float right over your head. And then when you finally get the clarity, you like, it was right there the whole time. The answer was right there the whole time. You ever had one of those situations where you in the midst of a problem and when you finally figure out it was so obvious, like, how did I not see that? You couldn't see it because you were at a different vibration than the solution. You were, you were one with the problem. When you one with the problem, you can't identify with the solution. It's like looking for your phone while you on the phone, and as you look for you, I cannot find this damn phone. I don't— I just had it. Like, yeah, relax, take a breath, and become aware. Oh, it's right here. Or you're looking for your sunglasses and they on top of your head. When you're locked on the problem, the solution gonna float right by you. To yield successfully to the wish as an accomplished fact, you must create a passive state, a kind of reverie or meditative reflection similar to the feeling which precedes sleep. And such a relaxed state The mind is turned from the objective world and easily senses the reality of a subjective state. It is a state in which you are conscious and quite able to move or open your eyes, but have no desire to do so. An easy way to create this passive state is to relax in a comfortable chair or in— or on a bed. If on a bed, lie flat on your back while your head is on a level with your body. Close the eyes and imagine that you are asleep. Feel, I am sleepy, so sleepy, so very sleepy. In a little while, a faraway feeling accompanied by a general lassitude and a loss of all desire to move envelops you. You feel a pleasant, comfortable rest and not inclined to alter your position, although under other circumstances you would not be at all comfortable. When this passive state is reached, imagine that you have realized your wish, not how it was realized, but simply the wish fulfilled. Imagine in picture form what you desire to achieve in life, then feel yourself as having already achieved it. So we're gonna read back over this last little bit right here because it has something important. Let me find it. Okay, when this passive state is reached, imagine that you have realized your wish, not how it was realized, but simply the wish fulfilled. Imagine that it's done, not how it was done. Some, some many times people get caught up in the how that they can't get to the point of feeling good about the conclusion of. Let me tell you something, when you could connect to the fact that it's done and you can feel the excitement of it being done, the ideas will come. But when you stressed about the how, you're not at all in a creative state. You're not in a creative state when you're trying to figure out how. Don't worry about how, worry about exactly how the end would look. And I'm not saying that the middle is not important, I'm saying that your subconscious mind can supply the middle. Like when I, when I used to box, if I was trying to consciously fight the person I was boxing, I was going to lose. I had to go in my imagination and see myself as the victor of this fight. And my subconscious, now that it had a clear-cut goal, it knew when to make me duck, it knew when to swing, it knew when to counterpunch, it knew when to parry, it knew what to do. Now, if I was trying to consciously do it, okay, I need to pivot left— by the time I digest a thought, pivot left, I'd already got hit. I gotta give the conscious— the subconscious mind a clear-cut goal and trust the subconscious mind to know when to bob and weave. Because if you trying to consciously keep up, you're gonna be missing it. And by the time you— oh, I need to do it— opportunity gone. You got to trust that subconscious part of you. Imagine in picture form what you desire to achieve in life, then feel yourself as having already achieved it. Thoughts produce tiny little speech movements which may be heard in the passive state of prayer as pronouncements from without. However, this degree of passivity is not essential to the realization of your prayers. All that is necessary is to create a passive state and feel the wish fulfilled. All you can possibly need or desire is already yours. I'm gonna say that again. All you can possibly need or desire is already yours. All you can possibly need or desire is already yours. You need no helper to give it to you. It is yours now. Call your desires into being by imagining and feeling your wish fulfilled. As the end is accepted, you become totally indifferent as to possible failure, for acceptance of the end wills the means to the end. When you emerge from the moment of prayer, it is as though you were shown the happy and successful end of a play, although you were not shown how that end was achieved. However, having witnessed the end, regardless of any anticlimactic sequence, you remain calm and secure in the knowledge that the end has been perfectly defined. What's going on, y'all? I see the numbers in here. We on a number of different platforms. I don't know where y'all watching from. Some of the comments show up in here, some of the comments don't show up in here. So if you've been sending comments and I haven't been responding, I'm not ignoring you. They probably just not showing up. But if you haven't sent the comment, send it and we'll see if it show up because they might show up. All right, so we got this one last little bit. Then we finna run through, then I'm gonna check on time. Okay, I got a little bit of time. I'm gonna have to jump off soon though, but we finna get done as much as we can. This y'all first time kicking it with me? I'm Big Abundant. I'm a hypnotist and I enjoy talking about consciousness. I enjoy teaching people about the difference between conscious and the subconscious, and I enjoy teaching people how to get what the hell you want. As humans, our superpowers, we could really be doing hell. Anything we want. And one thing I just love to get people to understand is the same thing that turns acorns into oak trees— think about how little an acorn is, think about how big an oak tree is— that same power created you. You could be, do, and have anything you want, but you gotta be aware of how to control your thoughts. If your thoughts running the show and you fit, and your feelings are dictated by things that happen outside of you Yeah, I mean, every day is a roll of the dice. You're gonna have some good days, but you're gonna have some bad days. It's— we, we really gotta take control over our, our sense of I am and realize how much control we have over humans, over our moods, over our feelings, over our emotions. We've been conditioned to think that if this happened, I gotta feel this way. If this happened, I gotta feel this way. If this— I got— you don't have to feel that way. You've been conditioned, you've been taught, you've learned that pattern of feeling that way, but you don't have to feel that way. You don't have to be a slave to your emotions. So that's kind of what we getting into. We're gonna jump into this chapter 4, Spirit Filling, and we're gonna keep pushing. Not by night, uh, not by might nor by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 4:6. Get into the spirit of the state desired by assuming the feeling that would be yours were you already the one you want to be. As you capture the feeling of the state sought, you are relieved of all effort to make it so, for it already is so. There is a definite feeling associated with every idea in the mind of man. Capture the feeling associated with your realized wish by assuming the feeling that would be yours were you already in possession of the thing you desire. And your wish will objectify itself. Faith is feeling. According to your faith be it unto you. Matthew 9:29. You never attract that which you want, but always attract that which you are. As a man is, so does he see. To him that hath, it shall be given, and to him that hath not, it shall be taken away. Matthew 13:12. That which you feel yourself to be, you are, and you are given that which you are. So assume the feeling that would be yours where you You are already in possession of your wish, and your wish must be realized. So God created man in his own image. In the image of God created he him. Genesis 1:27. Let this mind be in you which also was in Christ Jesus, who being in form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God. Philippians 2:5. You are that which you believe yourself to be. Instead of believing in God or in Jesus, believe you Are God, or you are Jesus. He that believeth on me, the works that I shall do, he do also. John 14:12. Should be, he that believes as I believe, the works that I do shall he do also. Jesus found it not strange to do the works of God because he believed himself to be God. I and my Father are one. John 10:30. It is natural to do the works of the one you believe yourself to be. So live in the feeling of being the one you want to be, and that you shall be. When a man believes in the value of the advice given him and applies it, he establishes within himself the reality of success. So that's the end of Feeling Is the Secret. I got this whole recording on YouTube if you want to just hear it read from beginning to end. It might be some— Neville might make you a little uncomfortable because It's, it's not broken down the way most people would break it down, but most people haven't read the book from beginning to end. And the thing you got to realize about the Bible is the Bible has, um, it's 2 covenants in the Bible. It's a— it's the covenant of the slave and it's the covenant of the master. And to really see both covenants unfold, you gotta read that thing from beginning to end to really see how it connects. Most people haven't taken the time to, but we're gonna get into— I got, uh, I got about another 10 or 15 minutes I could spend before I gotta go. We're gonna push into this next one a little bit. Prayer is the master key. A key may fit one door of a house, but when it fits all doors, it may well claim to be a master key. Such and no less, a key is prayer to all earthly problems. I love that prayer is the key to all your problems, but you gotta understand that prayer is not begging. Like my daughter, for instance, I have a hard time telling my daughter no because she don't beg. She come up to me and she Tell me what she want. She tell me what she gonna do with it when she get it, and she's so excited. Daddy, I just saw this dollhouse, and when I get it, I'm gonna put it right beside my other dollhouse, and this Barbie gonna live in this dollhouse, and this Barbie gonna live in that dollhouse. And as a father, I'm like, okay, bet. She got this whole idea, she got this whole plan about how she want it. Like, I want to help her with that plan. Now imagine if she came in and she go, Daddy, I know I already got a dollhouse, but I was hoping— like, you're probably gonna say no, but could I get it? I'm like, no, Riley, you already got one. But she don't present it like, hey, I know you probably gonna say no. She come in there hyped like, Daddy, I just saw this dollhouse I want, and when I get it— like, you see, you see the difference in how she acts versus, I know I already Got one. I know I don't really deserve it, but it's easy to say no because she already defeated from there. But when she all the way up here, she got that, that glow in her eyes, it's a lot harder to say no from there. But let's, let's push through this because I gotta go, so we ain't got time to go deep into these stories. Pray for my soul. More things are wrought by prayer than this world dreams of. Prayer is an art and requires practice. Oh, I love that. Prayer is an art and requires practice. The first requirement is controlled imagination. I think this is going to be the next one we put on YouTube. I ain't read this in a while and I'm falling in love with it all over again. Yeah, I can, I can get this on YouTube in the next day or two. So prayer is an art and requires practice. The first requirement is controlled imagination. Parade and vain repetitions are foreign to prayer. It exercise requires tranquility and peace of mind. Use not vain repetitions, for prayer is done in secret, and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. The ceremonies that are customarily used in prayer are mere superstitions and have been invented to give prayer an air of solemnity. Those who do practice the art of prayer are often ignorant of the laws that control it. They attribute the results obtained to the ceremonies and mistake the letter for the spirit. The essence of prayer is faith, but faith must be permeated with understanding to be given the active quality which it does not possess when standing alone. Therefore get wisdom, and with all thy getting get understanding. I can read that a thousand times. We're gonna read that again, man. We're gonna read that again. So prayer is an art and requires practice. The first requirement is controlled imagination. You gotta control your imagination. You gotta keep your imagination on the thing that you desire, not the thing that you don't desire. You got to focus on your desire and not the lack of your desire. You can't be switching sides constantly. I'm trying to have faith, but I know this, and I'm, and I'm, and I'm having faith. I'm believing in God, but, but I at the same time, I. You— well, so what we gotta realize about faith is you always got faith in something. Like, a lot of times people come to me for sessions and they want to work on confidence, and they saying, I don't, I don't got any confidence. No, you got confidence in something right now. It just sounds like you confident in your failure instead of your success. So we ain't got to go get you no confidence. We got to redirect the confidence that you already got. Faith the same way. You got faith in something. Sometimes you just got your faith in your failure. So what we got to do is take your faith out of your failure and put your faith into your success, because faith works. If you put it into your success, it's gonna work your success. But if you put your faith into your failure, it's gonna work your failure. So what are we pointing our faith at? And we gotta control our imagination to learn how to always point our faith at the thing that we desire, not the lack of the thing that we anxiety, not the evidence that it'll never happen. So that, that, that's the basis. Prayer is an art and requires practice. The first requirement is controlled imagination. And then it goes on to say vain repetitions are foreign to prayer. So conscious— so saying it over and over and over and over again, you just really reaffirming the fact that you don't got My daughter, go back to the to the dollhouse example. She ain't gonna ask twenty times. Daddy, when I get it, I'm gonna put it right. But she already planning what she gonna. The thought of me not getting it never crossed her mind. Daddy, when I get it. But imagine if you took that same mindset to God. God, I got this idea for a business, and oh man, when I get it. I'm, I'm finna not only hook myself up, but my future generations. My kids gonna be able to get to see me in entrepreneurship mode. Oh God, I'm so excited. Now, I don't know where I'm gonna get the money from. I don't know. Even if you meet the investors, you could be in a room with somebody with the money, but if you full of doubt, I'm not giving you my— I'm not investing my money in you and you full of doubt. You can't, you can't get that. You can't get the money when you full of doubt. Let's go. So the vain repetitions are foreign to prayer. It its exercise requires tranquility and peace of mind. That's why practicing meditation is so important, because meditation teaches you how to quiet the mind. And when you can quiet your mind from that quiet space, you can take it into whatever direction you want to take it in. It's hard to go from stressed the hell out to completely positive. But when you, when you've practiced the act of meditating, when you practice the act of quieting the mind, you could be really stressed out. You could take a few moments, quiet the mind, go to a state of nothing, go to a state of complete possibility, get back to the core of that I am, that pure potentiality. When you know how to quiet the mind and go there, from there you can go to the positive state. From there you can redirect your imagination. But you're not going to take your imagination straight out of a state of worry and throw it into positivity. It's not going work, at least in my experience. I ain't never seen it work. I've been doing this shit a long time. I ain't never seen— I ain't gonna say it's impossible, I just ain't never seen it. So the ceremonies that are customarily used in prayer are mere superstitions and have been invented to give prayer an air of solemnity. Those who do practice the art of prayer are often ignorant of the laws that control it. This book is an attempt to reduce the unknown to the known by pointing out conditions on which prayers are answered and without which they cannot be answered. It defines the conditions governing prayer in laws that are simply a generalization of our observations. The universal law of reversibility is the foundation— is the foundation on which its claims are based. Mechanical motion caused by speech was known for a long time before anyone dreamed of the possibility of an inverse transformation, that is, the reproduction of speech by mechanical motion— the phonograph. For a long time, electricity was produced by friction without ever a thought that friction in turn could be produced by electricity. Whether or not man succeeds in reversing the transformation of a force, he knows nevertheless that all transformations of force are reversible. If heat can produce mechanical motion, So mechanical motion can produce heat. If electricity produces magnetism, magnetism too can develop electrical currents. If the voice can cause— can cause currents, so can currents produce the voice, and so on. Cause and effect, energy and matter, action and reaction are the same and interconvertible. This law is of highest importance because it enables you to foresee the inverse transformation. Once direct transformation is verified, if you knew how you would feel were you to realize your objective, then inversely you would know how the state you could realize were you to awaken in yourself such a feeling. Let's read that again. I love it. If you knew how you would feel were you to realize your objective, were you to reach your goal, were you to get that thing you desire, then inversely, the opposite of that, you would know that the state you could realize were you to awaken in yourself such a feeling. The injunction to pray believing that you already possess what you pray for is based upon knowledge of the law of inverse transformation. If your realized prayer produces in you a definite feeling or state of consciousness, then inversely, that particular feeling or state of consciousness must produce your realized prayer. That's how you turn a smoker into a non-smoker in 45 minutes. Okay, we know how cigarettes quote unquote make you feel, and we know how you feel being a non-smoker. But if you were a non-smoker, how would that feel? I don't know, I'm not a non-smoker. If you did know, what do you think would be different? Um, I think I would breathe better. I think my teeth would be brighter. I think my skin would look better. I think I have more energy. Definitely would have more money. I wouldn't smell like cigarette smoke. Okay, let's imagine all of that's happening right now. And through creating the feeling and getting you to feel like a non-smoker, if I could get you to sit in there with me for a while and we could practice the vibration of a non-smoker, eventually I'm gonna go 1, 2, 3, eyes open wide awake. You want a cigarette? It's a video on YouTube when I asked dude like, hey, he, he opened his eyes. I don't think it worked. I don't feel like you did anything. I said, you want a cigarette? He go, hell no. I said, okay, we done. We, we just spent a little while sitting in the feeling of being a non-smoker, and in the process of feeling like a non-smoker, subconscious don't know the difference between something you vividly imagine and something that is really happening. So we got— we sold the subconscious the idea that he was a non-smoker. And once the subconscious felt him to be a non-smoker, the desire for the cigarette magically vanished. I gotta jump out of here on that note. I might have some time to go live later, y'all. Thank every last one of y'all for pulling up. I know it was brief today, and I apologize I couldn't see y'all comments. I ain't really got time to troubleshoot it today because I'm streaming from a new software, but we'll figure all of this out later. But I'm about to land this plane. I love y'all. Ain't none of y'all See it. Ain't nothing y'all can see about it. Ain't nothing y'all can do about it. And I'll see y'all later, man. Bigabundant.com if you're interested in talking to me.
