Chapters
This is inspired out of Napoleon Hill's Keys to Success. Everybody talks about Think and Grow Rich, which is a phenomenal book, but I love the Keys to Success because it actually spells out the 17 principles. Lesson 1, it actually spells out the 17 principles. So I went through the chapter real quick last night and I just made some of the key points that jumped out at me, and that's what we're running through this morning. So we talked about how when you got a definiteness of purpose, it allows you to specialize. When I know exactly what I'm doing, when I know exactly where I'm headed, I know what books to read. I know what TV shows to watch. I know if something is useful or not useful. I can say, okay, I can watch this new series on Netflix that everybody's talking about, or I could watch this documentary on Netflix that nobody is talking about, but it does have valuable information for where I'm headed. It allows me to specialize. It allows me to budget my time and energy different. It allows me to align my time and energy. It allows me to treat not only my money like a currency, but my time like a currency. Okay? Because now I know where I'm headed. I'm alert to opportunities. You see how Dunsey? We we we we know where we going. As soon as we start talking about the book, Dunsey say, "Well, that's lesson one." That's a man that has a definite purpose. He's read that book. He spent time with that book because it aligns with his definiteness of purpose. And when you go on his streams and you hang around him, you can tell when you're in the presence of somebody who know where they head. You can tell when you in the presence of somebody who got an idea of what they tomorrow and what they day after tomorrow is going to look like. Okay, so the next thing that allows you to do is I got to read my handwriting. Oh, decision-making capabilities.
