Coach Jay teaches how to reprogram your subconscious to shift your identity rather than chase outcomes. He walks through the 5 C's framework (clarity, calibration, confidence, competence, consistency) and uses hypnosis and embedded commands to show how mindset techniques work in real time.

We're gonna be talking about what we always talk about, the fact that you could be doing, have anything you desire. If it's your first time here, I'm Coach Jay. I'm a high-performance hypnotist. Hypnotize professional athletes, entrepreneurs, executives, founders, day traders, MMA fighters, you name it, man. Help them with things like imposter syndrome, second-guessing themselves, procrastination, anxiety, burnout, all sorts of things. I'm a big believer that every problem is a thinking problem. If you could think it, you could do it. If you can't think it, of course you can't do it. And I don't know why, but it surprises people when they can't do things out there that they can't even do in here. Why would you expect to be able to do something out there that you can't do in here? That makes sense to you? I mean, if you can't imagine it, how can you do it? So what I like to do is I like to teach people how to use their mind. I teach people not how to regurgitate, not how to recall, not how to remember, but how to use their mind on purpose. How to take an idea out of here, how to take a desire out of here and turn it into something tangible. Take things out of here and turn it into something you could taste, touch, feel, hear, and see. So that's what we talk about when I go live. It's not about breaking habits as much as it's about deciding a new habit that you want to build. And the energy that most people would use to break The bad habit over here, we use that energy to build a new habit. Yeah, we use that energy to build a new habit. A lot of times, like I tell my clients all the time, we don't work on problems, we build solutions. Why would you work on problems when the whole goal is to de-energize the problem? The energy that you use into understand and unpack and fight the problem, we need that energy over here on the solution. So I don't make people quit smoking as much as I help them become a nonsmoker. I don't make people stop being anxious as much as I help them walk in the rooms with their shoulders back, their chest out, and their chin up, thinking clear positive thoughts. You need energy to get more money and focus. If you was— if you already had more energy and focus, how would you show up? What would you believe? What would be your story of the past? What would be your expectation patterns? What we— well, if I could talk, what would be going on somatically in your body? That's what we build. That's what we build. Yeah, don't work on the problem, you starve the problem. Exactly. It becomes a choice. But when it's a subconscious choice that you ain't even making a choice, the choice making you. So yeah, we make it conscious, but we don't just end there. We got to decide what would we rather make conscious and put in its place. What's going on, consultant? So one of the things you got to understand about the subconscious mind is that the subconscious doesn't negate information. It doesn't negate information. It doesn't delete. If I walk up to my wife and I say, hey baby, don't get mad, she gonna say, why am I not getting mad? What happened? What did you do? I'm gonna say, baby, I said don't get mad. She gonna say, I'm not mad. Yes, she is. She doesn't know how to not get mad. You don't know how to not overthink. You don't know how to stop procrastinating. It's not about what do you want to not do. What do you want to do? What, what do you want, right? Because subconscious doesn't delete anything. If I say don't think about a pink elephant, too late. Your subconscious say, yo, pink elephant, I know what that is. Oh, don't think about it. Okay, let me not think about this pink elephant. Let me not think about this pink elephant. It doesn't work for sure, Rock. But you got— so telling somebody to program it is one thing, but how, how do you program it? You You got to tell them how. You can't just tell them go program yourself, because if they knew how to do that, they wouldn't be having a problem. And that's what most people— that's what most people ended at. You got to reprogram. Step 1 to reprogramming it is getting crystal clear about what do you want to program it to do. Excuse me. So if I want to have a successful voiceover career, what continuous work? What do I focus on? Who would I be if I already had it? What would be my story of the industry if I already had it? My story wouldn't be as hard to break in. It's all about who you know. If I, if I already had that result, what would be the story I'll be telling myself? What would be my story of the past? What, how would it feel in my body if I already had it? Then what we do is we build that result from the inside out. What I teach my clients to do is manifest the identity. You don't gotta manifest the thing, you gotta manifest the identity that goes out and gets the thing. Kobe Bryant didn't have to manifest championships, he had to manifest the Mamba mentality. Beyoncé didn't have to manifest sold-out tours, she had to manifest Sasha Fierce. Manifest the identity and the identity will give birth to the result. You don't gotta create the result, you don't— you don't gotta build the result, you just gotta Deliver the result. Like a woman with a baby, she don't got to build the baby, she just has to give the baby an environment to grow in. But if she just allowed a baby to grow inside of her, one day, ready or not, here it comes. Now she still got to push it out. I ain't say she didn't have to do anything. She still got a part to play. She still got to do some stuff. But building the baby is not the stuff that she got to do. I always tell my clients, control what's in your control. Control was— it's a full-time job controlling what you can control. Why are you wasting so much energy on what you can't control? Like, I can't control how many people show up to the live. That's out of my control. I can control the energy that I show up with. I can control my internal dialogue as I show up. I can control my perception of the live. I can control everything that I can control is in here. But as I control what's in here I'm gonna accidentally influence what's going on out there. I tell this to younger hypnotists all the time: you have 100% control over one person, and that one person is you. Now, through your ability to control the one person that you can control, you can influence anybody. But the moment you try to control somebody, you just you lose your ability to influence them. I can't control you, but I'm really good at influencing you. And the reason I'm so good at influencing you is because I'm really good at controlling me. I don't need a certain behavior out of you. I don't need your buy-in. I don't need you clap. I don't care if you clapping, applauding, booing, because I know how to control my nervous system. I know how to control my state. I don't need you agreeing before I got access to my confidence. I go. I know how to work what's going on in here. So I confidence is just something I turn on. I don't— and because I don't need you to behave a certain way, if you and I are negotiating, if you and I are talking back and forth— because if you're someone who needs to see certain things out there before you can feel how you need to feel in here, you're going to be at a disadvantage. That's exactly what I'm doing when I help someone become a nonsmoker. I can have somebody sitting across from me that still smell like cigarettes Look like a smoker, sounds like a smoker, and even though I can clearly see the smokers in front of me, I can go inside and say, "Hey nervous system, that's a non-smoker in front of me." You listen while you sleep. The YouTube channel goes crazy, Mama Bear. If you're not on the YouTube channel, you missing out. As a matter of fact, everybody take ten seconds and go get on the YouTube channel. The YouTube channel is Identity. 2.0 Hypnotherapy. Over 800 free videos on there, and it's, it's full of value. A lot of value, a lot of entertainment. Identity 2.0 Hypnotherapy. Ain't nothing you can't be, ain't nothing you can't do, ain't nothing you can't have. Your only limit in life is your own imagination. If you could think it, you could do it. If you can't think it, then of course you can't do it. Love it. I appreciate y'all being here, man. But yeah, stop trying to manifest things and manifest the identity of a thing. You don't got to manifest money. Manifest the identity you would have if you already had money. You want a six-pack? You don't got to manifest the six-pack. What you got to manifest is a version of you who drinks more water. You got to you got to manifest a version of you who reach for protein over carbs. You got to manifest a version of you that likes to get up and move its body and burn. Forget about the six-pack. What's the recipe to the six-pack? That's what you manifest. That's what you got to manifest. And Aton, that's because— so I'm a hypnotist. I've been doing hypnosis for 20 years, so it's a work hazard. I speak hypnosis when I'm talking. Even when I'm just talking in the live, I'm gonna accidentally use embedded commands, reframes, anchors, pacing and leading, double binds, because I'm a hypnotist. So I communicate like a hypnotist. It's impossible for you to sit in this room every day and not start to think different. And if you think different, you're going to accidentally start to feel different. If you feel different, guess what's right behind that feeling? New behavior. When you get angry in here, you don't got to try to be angry out there. If you just get angry in here, you're going to accidentally stomp your feet, slam the door, raise your voice, curse people. You will do angry on accident if you become angry. So if you ain't got any here, you're going to become motivated. You're going to start thinking like, maybe I can do things if I just learn how to hold them in my mind. You're going to start to find yourself accidentally repeating those 5 C's. Now, as you repeat the 5 C's, you're going to find yourself accidentally embodying the 5 C's. Now, as you accidentally embody the 5 C's, you're going to start seeing problems in your life. But instead of getting hypnotized by the problem, you're going to say, hold on, shit, Coach Jay said I need to get clear about what I wanted. So you're going to learn how to look at these things that you used to call problems, and you're going to use this. You're going to start seeing these problems as the doorway to what I desire. So now you're getting hypnotized by the desire instead of the situation that created the desire. Most people get hypnotized by the situation that created the desire and not the desire itself. Coach Jay, what are you talking about? So let's say you open your phone, you open your bank account, and you see not enough money. As clear as day, you see not enough money. But there was a part of you that when it saw not enough money in your bank account, it gave birth to a desire for more money. When you think on purpose, what's gonna happen is you gonna get hypnotized by the desire for more money and not the lack of money that inspired this desire for more money. If somebody disrespects you, there's a part of you to say, hey, I don't, I don't, I don't want that. I want this. I want to be treated with, with care. I want to be treated like I matter. What you got to learn how to do is get hypnotized by the desire and not the disrespect that inspired the desire. If you look at your following and you see not enough followers, you got to get hypnotized by the desire for more followers and not the lack of followers. If you look at your business and you see your business and you see not enough money, not enough customers, not enough business You gotta focus on that desire of more money, of more business, and not get hypnotized by the lack of. Because what you're under the influence of, that's where the ideas come from. And when you under the influence of what you don't want and trying to use willpower to get what you don't— I mean, to get what you do want, you, you in a little energetic conundrum over there. Ain't nothing you can't be, ain't nothing you can't do, ain't nothing you can't have. Your only limit in life is your own imagination. If you could think it, you could do it. If you can't think it, go sit down. Go sit down. But guess what? While you sitting down, that's the perfect time to start thinking on purpose. That's the perfect time to start thinking on purpose. If you use your mind on purpose, you will be surprised what you accidentally do with your body. Most people trying to use their body on purpose and they using their mind on accident. Flip it. Start using your mind on purpose and watch what your body does. Your mind— your— where the mind goes, the body follows. The body has no choice but to follow the mind. If you can take your mind out of what you don't want and put your mind into what you want, your body ain't got no choice but to start heading in that direction. What's going on, Free Spiritually? How you doing? Welcome to the live. Welcome, welcome, welcome. So if you're new here and you haven't already, go ahead and hit that follow button up there. If you old here and you ain't hit the follow button, you tripping. Go ahead and fix that. I need your services. I'm ready to change for the better. Lately, I always start with something that we call an identity diagnostic. You ready to jump in the deep end? You can either click the link in my bio or you can go to icoachbosses.com. You're going to see something called an identity diagnostic. Okay, it's $99. It's going to give you an ENP assessment, it's going to give you a 12 Dimensions assessment, and it's going to have you to send me a picture of your handwriting. We'll take those results, we'll get on the Zoom call, and we'll talk about what I see. We'll talk about what next steps are. Sometimes I might put you in something we got called night school. Sometimes we might end up working one-to-one. Sometimes we You might need to roll in a deep dive package. I don't know until we see that assessment, but the $99 that you spent on the assessment rolls into whatever your next step is. So start with the identity diagnostic. You either go to the link in my bio or you can go to icoachbosses.com. You can do it right now if you, if you're ready. icoachbosses.com. You're going to purchase something called an identity diagnostic. That's going to give you access to our database, to our app, and in that app it's going to give you 2 assessments and have you take a picture of your handwriting so that you can send it to me. I'll analyze all of that and then we'll jump on Zoom and talk about your strengths, your weaknesses, and what working with me looks like. I used to let people pick— I used to let people tell me what they wanted to work on, but after doing it long enough, I realized most people don't know what they need to work So these days, like, we gonna take your goals into account, but what most people think is the problem is very rarely the problem. It's a symptom of the problem, and you'll spend a lot of money working on the symptom of the problem just to see that you took care of this one instance of the problem, but the problem was never in the bank account. It was something going on with your self-worth in here. So that assessment is gonna let me see what the real problem is, and I'll show you how that connects to whatever it is you're experiencing out there. That thing going on out there is not what we got to work on. We got to take care of what's going on in here, and in here it is giving birth to that thing that you see out there. All right, let me catch up on these comments. Give me a second. What are the 5 C's? It's your first time in here? Okay, so the 5 C's are clarity, calibration, confidence, competence, consistency. You can kind of see them back here on this board, but I write Like a genius, so it's hard to read. Clarity, calibration, confidence, competence, consistency. So the first is clarity, because you can't get what you want until you know what you want. Now, as I do this work, I realize that most people show up with clarity, but it be pointed in the wrong direction. They have a lot of clarity about what they don't want, but not a whole lot of clarity about what they do want. Most people, when we first start working, they'll come in and say something like, Coach Jay, I can't keep doing this. Well, see, I got a master's degree and I've been at this company for 7 years and they only pay me $50,000. They told me I didn't have to work weekends, but Jay, they put me on the schedule every weekend. And my friend doesn't even have a degree, Jay, and she makes $84,000. I don't understand how a person without a degree makes more money than a person with a master's degree. And my husband, he sees me juggling all this, Jay, and it's like he doesn't care. He's just in his own world. He sees me trying to do all these hours and do this with the kids, and Jay, he's just over there in la-la land. It's like he doesn't even feel stressed. And I don't understand how you can love some— and I say, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, Well, let me ask you something. What do you want? Well, Jay, I just feel like— 1, 2, 3, wide awake. I didn't ask you what do you feel like. I said, what do you want? Well, Jay, I'm just tired of everything in it. 1, 2, 3, wide awake. I didn't ask you what you're tired of and what you feel. I said, what do you want? Well, Jay, I'm just so— 1, 2, 3, wide awake. Snap out of it. Most people show up literally hypnotized by what they don't want. They can't think outside of what they don't want. I say, hey, take a deep breath in. Deep breath, slow breath. And as you exhale, I want you to really take time to feel your feet on the ground. Okay, now you're going to join me in this moment. When you can truly feel that you're in this moment with me, you're going to nod your head. Okay, good. Listen to me. What do you want? Then they get this look like a deer in headlights, and they say something really vague like, "I just want to be happy," or "I want financial freedom." Let me tell you something: if you expect "I just want to be happy" to compete with, "I've been at this company for seven years. I got a master's degree. They only pay me fifty thousand dollars. This person does this, and they don't like that. And this person does this, and they don't like this. And I did this, and I did this, and I did this, and I did." If you expect I want to be happy to compete with hand gestures, facial expressions, energy, and all of that, you out your mind. It's it can't compete. Your nervous system follows the clarity. So the first is clarity because we got to get crystal clear about what you want. Put put clarity in the chat if you understand clarity. If you understand the importance of clarity. Hold on real quick. Somebody just got an identity diagnostic. Let me send them their login information. Give me a second. Give me just a minute. It's one part of this I gotta manually do, but I'm creating your profile right now. Create. All right. I'm sending you your login details to the portal right now. Generate access code. Copy welcome message. Boom. All right. I just sent that over. All right. So we got clarity. Clarity makes sense. Okay. Now that we get clear, we got to get calibrated. So we figure out what we want. Then after we figure out what we want, we got to get calibrated to what we want. Now, don't overthink calibration. You already doing a whole lot of calibrating. Okay, when something happened at work at 3 PM and you at home at 8 PM thinking about this thing at work that happened at 3 PM and you just as pissed off as you was when it happened, you're calibrating. When you calibrate to a funny movie, you don't got to try to laugh, you're gonna laugh. You know why? Because you're calibrating to a funny movie. If you calibrate to a sad movie, you don't got to try to get sad, you're going to get sad. You know why? Because you're calibrating to a sad movie. When you calibrate to what you don't want, you don't got to try to feel stressed. You don't got to try to feel angry. You don't have to try to feel none of that. That's the natural result of calibrating to what you don't want. But when you do that first C, which is clarity, and you get clear about what you want, then we start to calibrate to what you want. Don't be surprised when you accidentally put your shoulders back, put your chest down, and put your chin up. Don't be surprised when you accidentally start moving in that direction. Okay, so calibration is about putting your attention on what you want. My calibration tool of choice is hypnosis. Put clarity— I mean, put calibration in the chat if we understand what the calibration process is about. Clarity was about getting clear about what we want. Calibration is about putting our attention on what we want, calibrating to what we want, decalibrating from what we don't want. And calibrating to what we do want. All right, we cooking. This stuff making sense? What's up, Grace? How you doing? Now we keep calibrating. We calibrate over and over and over and over and over again until we hit the third C, which is
