If you come in here a lot, you'll notice that I like a lot of the old books. I don't— you ain't gonna catch me reading too many new books. I like the old stuff. So let's get into it. This book contains the very essence of the principle of expression. Had I cared to, I could have expanded it into a book of several hundred pages. But such expression would have defeated the purpose of this book. Commands, to be effective, must be short and to the point. The greatest command ever recorded is found in a few simple words: And God said, let there be light. In keeping with this principle, I now give to you, the reader, In these few pages, the truth as it was revealed to me. I love the part about how commands to be effective must be short and to the point. You don't need these long, drawn-out, grand affirmations. They need to be short, to the point, and they need to excite you. They need to get you emotionally involved. Muhammad Ali didn't just say I'm fast. He said I flow like a butterfly, I sting like a bee. It's some metaphor in there. It's something to get the imagination involved. There's something in there to get you going. And that's why it worked. That's why it worked, because it wasn't this long, drawn-out— a lot of people write their affirmations like they writing Bible scripture. They talking like this biblical talk. Like, talk like you talk when you do your affirmations. You— because you— if it don't excite you emotionally, if it don't move you emotionally, it's not going to work. Your subconscious don't work on logic. Your subconscious don't work on reason. Your subconscious don't care about it making sense. Does it move you emotionally? If it don't move you emotionally, it didn't move you at all. You can logically know that you just as good as everybody else. You can logically know that that anxiety is just a voice in your head, but until it moves you emotionally, it's not going to change a thing. You can read all the books, you can go to all the seminars, but if it don't move you emotionally, it didn't move you. Let's keep pushing. Can a man decree a thing and have it come to pass? Man has always decreed that which has appeared in his world and is today decreeing that which is appearing in his world and shall continue to do so as long as man is conscious of being man. Not one thing has ever appeared in man's world but what man decreed that it should. This you may deny, but try as you will, you cannot disprove it, for this decreeing is based upon a changeless principle. Um, you do not command things to appear by your words or loud affirmations. And I'm gonna tell y'all now, when I repeat things, that just mean it's important. That mean it struck something in me, and I mean it bears repeating. The awareness of being is the door through which the manifestations of life pass into the world of form. Consciousness is the resurrecting power, resurrecting that which man is conscious of being. Man is ever out picturing that which he is conscious of being. This is the truth that makes man free, for man is always self-imprisoned or self-free. If there are tools, I will be there. You want to be abundant, you got to become conscious of the— you got to become conscious of the abundance. You want to be healthy, you got to become conscious of health. For he states, no man comes unto me save the Father within me draws him, and I and my Father are one. Therefore, consciousness is the Father that is drawing the manifestations of life unto you. You are at this very moment drawing into your world that which you are now conscious of being. Now you can see what is meant by you must be born again. If you are dissatisfied with your present expression of life, the only way to change it— not one of the ways to change it— the only way to change is to take your attention away from that which seems so real to you and rise in consciousness to that which you desire to be. Neville just hit you with a missile. He said the only way to change your life is to take your attention off of what you don't want and put your undivided attention on what you do want. If you want to change your money situation, you got to take your attention off of lack and put your attention on abundance. You want to change the way you look, you want to change the way you feel, you got to take your attention off the things that make you look and feel sad and put your attention on the things that make you feel empowered and powerful. You got to change your conception of self, for asking is ever done in consciousness. You don't use your words and your loud affirmations to ask God for things. You use your consciousness. In other words, it is me within you that is this God. Praying then is seen to be recognizing yourself to be that which you now desire. Rather than its accepting form of petitioning a God that does not exist for that which you now desire. So can't you see why the millions of prayers are unanswered? Men pray to a God that does not exist. For instance, to be conscious of being poor and to pray to a God for riches is to be, be rewarded with that which you are conscious of being, which is poverty. Prayers to be successful must be claiming rather than begging. So if you would pray for riches, turn from your picture of poverty by denying the very evidence of your senses and assume the nature of being wealthy. We are told when you pray, go within secret and shut the door, and that which your Father sees in secret, with that he will reward you openly. We have identified the door to be the awareness of being. So shutting the door is shutting out that which I am now aware of being and claiming myself to be that which I desire to be. The very moment my claim is established to the point of conviction, that moment I began to draw unto myself the evidence of my claim. Do not question the how of these things appearing, for no man knows that way. That is, no manifestation knows how the things desired will appear. Consciousness is the way or door through which things appear. He said, I am the way. Not I, John Smith, am the way, but I am. The awareness of being is the way through which the things shall come. The signs always follow, they never precede. Things have no reality other than in consciousness. Therefore, get the consciousness first, and the thing is compelled to appear. You on YouTube? Okay, I'm gonna start practicing behaving that way, even if I own— even if I'm only doing it in my bedroom. I'ma start practicing Being that way. And I practiced the consciousness of being confident. It didn't take very long for me to start exercising it outside of my bedroom. But you start by practicing. You start by when you in your bedroom, man, you comfortable. Okay, I'm confident in here. Okay, what makes me confident in here? How do I position myself when I'm confident? What type of thoughts do I think when I'm confident? And you think those type of thoughts. Everything is within, nothing is without. When I go to the store, why do I feel anxious and my heart beating fast? Because you're conscious— that's what you're conscious of. So you got to become conscious of a calmer version of yourself, and it's going to take some practice. Okay, the story of creation is given us in digest form in the first chapter of John. In the beginning was the Word. Now, this very second is the beginning spoken of. It is the beginning of an urge, a desire. The Word is the desire swimming around in your consciousness seeking embodiment. The urge of itself has no reality, for I Am, or the awareness of being, is the only reality. Things live only as long as I am aware of being them. There we go, there we go. So to realize one's desire, the second line of this first verse of John must be applied. That is, and the Word was with God. So right now, huskies, you got a desire to be confident. Right now it's just the Word. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God. You got to put the Word with God. So your desire is the word to be confident. You got to put that desire with God and let it become your sense of I am. Who do you say that I am? That's what God said to Moses. I am has sent me unto thee. So you got to become aware of being confident. Now when you become aware of being confident, you just merge the word with God. I'm making sense to you? I hope so. I'm gonna read the rest of this. I am, or the awareness of being, is the only reality. Things live only as long as I am aware of being them. The word or desire must be fixed or united with consciousness to give it reality. The awareness becomes aware of being the thing desired. I'm a father of one. You gotta practice passing that into your subconscious mind. Your subconscious mind gotta get the message. Disagreement is never made between 2 persons. It is between the awareness and the thing desired. You are now conscious of being, so you are actually saying to yourself without using words, I am. Now, if it is a state of health that you are desirous of attaining before you have Any evidence of this health in your world, you begin to feel yourself to be healthy. And the very second the feeling I am healthy is attained, the two have agreed. That is, I am and health have agreed to be one. And this agreement ever results in the birth of a child, which is the thing agreed upon. So before any evidence of you agree being confident— before any evidence of you being confident appears, you have to go there mentally. And you going there mentally will produce the evidence. Now, if you waiting on the evidence before you're willing to go there mentally, you'll never go. But you gotta go with no evidence at all. I know the last 100 times you went into the store, that's what happened. But without any evidence at all, you got to go to I am confident, and you got to control your imagination. You got to discipline your imagination to sit in that thought with you. That's all we do in the hypnosis session. We take the mind away from what if this, what if that, what if that, what if that. We use this thing called a hypnotic induction to shut down what we call the critical faculty, get the critical part of you out of the way. And once we get the critical part of you out of the way, we speak directly into your subconscious, directly into your I Am, and we pour in this concept of I Am. And whatever is in that Part of you, that's what you're gonna act out. So you gotta get in your imagination and see yourself being, being confident. You got to get in your imagination and see yourself walking through the store confidently. See yourself walking to this— through the store, not worried about what other people think. I didn't say go really go to the store and make it happen. I said get in your imagination. But if you see it enough times in your imagination, guess what starts to happen? you start to believe it. You are ever sent into expression by your awareness, and your expression is ever that which you are aware of being. Again, Moses stated, "I am that I am." Now here is something to always bear in mind: you cannot put new wine in old bottles or new patches upon old garments. That is, you cannot take with you into the new consciousness any part of the old man. Not wear a mask anymore, but I make myself wear because I feel like people bully me because the way I look. So I be telling myself. Not to wear a mask anymore. You don't tell yourself what to do, you tell yourself what to think, and what you think will change what you do. I hope that made sense. When I help somebody quit smoking, I don't put them in hypnosis and say, stop smoking, don't do that, stop smoking. I put them in hypnosis and I tell them, you are a nonsmoker, and now that you are a nonsmoker, I want you to take a deep breath in And notice how much deeper you can breathe now that you are a non-smoker. I don't tell them what to do. I tell them what to, what to think. I tell them what to become. I help them develop the new consciousness. So don't walk through all— it's like when, when in a minute when I decide to end this live, I'm gonna stand up and get up from my computer and go do something else. But when I decide to stand up, I'm not gonna say, okay, I'm gonna pick up my leg, I'm gonna extend this particular muscle, I'm gonna flex my calf. I'm, I'm not gonna stand up in steps. I'm going to decide to stand up. And once I decide to stand up, I'ma just stand up because I decided to stand up. It's like trying to run as fast as you can consciously. I can't do it piece by piece consciously. I gotta decide to be confident and trust my subconscious mind to handle all the small pieces. Doing good, love to hear. That makes sense. If you're trying to do it consciously, you're gonna screw it up because it's too many individual pieces. Imagine trying to make your heart beat, trying to make your liver do whatever This job is trying to make your spleen do whatever it's supposed to do, trying to make your lungs open and close, trying to regulate your body temperature, trying to digest. You can't do that. My ways are beyond your understanding. That's God's job. It's not your job. Your job is to ask and it is given. Seek and ye shall find. Knock and the door shall be opened unto you. Your job is to ask, and you ask through becoming aware of Now, once you ask, you trust God to do the rest. You try to do God's job, you can't do God's job. I and the Father are one, although the Father is greater. You got to pass it to that greater part of you. You and God are one, but you got to give it to that greater portion of the one, because huskies can't do it. And if you're trying to do it, you just gonna convince yourself that it's impossible. You got to pass it on to God. Like right now, as I'm talking to you, I know the point that I want to convey, but I'm not sitting here consciously trying to pick the words. I'm trusting a bigger part of me to hand me the words, and I just deliver the message that was handed unto me. I set the intention to get on here and to talk to people and to communicate and to enlighten people, but I don't consciously do that. I subconsciously do that. He that is greater than me hands me the message. I download the message and give it to you. So when you want to be confident, you, you, you ask through who do you say I am? I am confident. And now that I'm confident, my shoulders automatically gonna go back, my chest automatically gonna go out, my head automatically gonna go up. So you gotta practice the consciousness of being confident. Don't worry about how, because you're gonna— you're gonna— it's too many steps. You can't consciously do this. You can't consciously do this. It's, it's a subconscious action. Okay, let's keep pushing. Again, Moses stated, I am that I am. Now here's something to always bear in mind: you cannot put new wine in old bottles or new patches upon old garments. That is, you cannot take within— with you into the new consciousness any part of the old man. All of your present beliefs, fears, and limitations are weights that bind you to your present level of consciousness. If you would transcend this level, you must leave behind all that is now your present self or conception of yourself. To do this, you take your attention away from all that is now your problem or limitation and dwell upon just being. That is, you say silently but feeling to yourself, I am. Do not condition this awareness as yet. Just declare yourself to be and continue to do so until you are lost in feeling of just being, faceless and formless. When this expansion of consciousness is attained, then within this formless deep of yourself, you'll form to the new conception by feeling yourself to be that which you desire to be. So what he just said is You can't go from unconfident to confident. It's not possible. You can't put old wine in new bottles. You can't put a patch on an old garment and call it a new garment. It don't work like that. So before you can go from confident to unconfident, you got to make a stop. You got to stop by pure unconditioned consciousness. You gotta, you gotta just become I Am. Dot dot dot. Not I am Huskies, not I am big abundant, not I am nervous, not I am confident. Just simply I am. And you do that by closing your eyes, becoming completely and absolutely relaxed, and you just go, I am, I am. I am. I am. So what you've done is you've taken your attention away from being unconfident. I'm just— I'm all of it. I'm unconfident, I'm confident, I'm day, I'm night, I'm red, I'm green, I'm blue, I'm big, abundant, I'm husky. I'm, I'm— I am— I'm, I'm all of it. And from there you can go to confident. From there you can go to rich, you can go to healthy, you can go wherever you want to go from there. But what you do is you— because right now you locked on the unconfident. And once you get locked into that place of I am, from I am you could become anything you desire to be because you just became one with the Father. And the Father is all things. He give life, he take it away. He's Alpha and Omega. So once you rise in consciousness and become one with the Father, from there you can, you can become any of it. Oh man, I love this. When this expansion of consciousness is attained, then within this formless deep of yourself, give form to this new conception by feeling yourself to be that which you desire to be. Be that which you desire to be. From there you can be confident. You will find within this deeper yourself all things to be divinely possible. Everything in the world which you can conceive of being is to you within this present formless awareness a most natural attainment. The invitation given us in the scripture is to be absent from the body and be present with the Lord, the body being your former conception of yourself and the Lord your awareness of being. This is what it is meant when Jesus said to Nicodemus, ye must be born again, for except you be born again, ye cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. This is, except you leave behind your present conception of yourself and assume the nature of the new birth, you will continue to outpicture your present limitations. As long as you are unconfident, you're going to continue to be unconfident. Before you can be confident, you got to put down this concept of being unconfident.
