Unlock Your Potential: Master Your Mindset to Manifest Success and Achieve Anything You Desire

Jay Shaw outlines the 4/5 C's: Clarity, Calibration, Confidence, Competence, and Consistency. He teaches the "magic question" ("What would I rather have?") to shift focus from problems to desires, and explains how to program your subconscious mind with vivid emotion and visualization so your heart accepts what you want before you act.

All right, boom, told y'all I was gonna be right back. Y'all didn't know I meant right, right back, did you? Well, yeah, we back. And y'all know I always like to start by telling you, listen, you could be, do, and have anything you desire. You see it back there? You could be, do, and have anything you desire. Your only limit in life is your own imagination. That's your only limit in life. If you can think it, You could do it. If you can't think it, you can't do it. But if you could think it, you could do it. And the good news is you could— you can think it. You can think it. But before you can think it, you gotta know what it is. You gotta know what you desire. You cannot hit a target that doesn't exist. But if you're willing to ask yourself, if you're willing to look at your life as it is and ask yourself one simple question, You could turn everything around. And that one simple question that you got to ask is, what would I rather have? I want you to get in the habit of asking yourself that question. What would I rather have? You should be asking yourself that question several times a day. Every time you feel the need to go on a rant, before you go on your rant, ask yourself, what would I rather have? And go on a rant about that. Every time you get ready to complain, ask yourself, what would I rather have? And just go on a dialogue about what you would rather have. I'm telling you, as you start describing what you want, as you start talking about what you want, what happens is you accidentally start to move towards it. You are a creator. It is in your nature to create. You couldn't stop creating if you wanted to. It's like you know how to read, right? And if you look at this hat, And you know how to read. You can't not read this hat because you know how to read. You are a creator. You know how to create. It's impossible for you to put your attention on something and not create it. It's impossible for you to put your attention on something and not start to move towards it. That's why they tell race car drivers, do not look at the wall. Look where you want to go. Don't look where you don't want to go. Put your eyes on the prize so you can start moving towards it. On accident. You could be doing anything you desire. Anything you desire. Nothing is off limits. The only thing that could ever stop you is you. The only thing that could ever stop you is you. You bigger than any challenge you will ever face. It's not a challenge in this world that can make you quit. Now, you could put your attention on a challenge and decide to quit, but it's not a challenge in this world that can make you quit. It didn't make you quit. You decided to quit. Nothing in this world can make you tap out. You you got to realize who you are. You got to remember who you are. You are a creator. You create on accident. I want you to start creating on purpose. I want you to start creating under the influence of what you want. So when I say under the influence of what you want, what do I mean? What do I mean when I say under the influence of what you want? Let's Let's go to the board. I want you to start getting under the influence of what you want and then creating. I want you to stop creating by default. I want you to stop creating on accident. I want you to start creating on purpose. I want you to start creating in terms of what you want. Yeah, let's go. Let's get all of that off of there. I want you to start creating on purpose. What's up? What's up? What's up? So when you're going through life, you're going to notice things that you don't like. That's you. That's you. And as you're going through life, you might notice some stuff that you don't like. Now, what a lot of people do when they notice something they don't like is they really start leaning into it. They start talking about why they don't like it. They get on the phone and talk to other people about how they don't like it and how it's not fair and they would never do that. They start just really filling up this area. I want you to stop doing that. I want you to get in the habit of when you see something you don't like, I want you to store it right away. Asking yourself what I refer to as the magic question. What is the magic question? The magic question is when you ask yourself, what would I rather have? Instead of going, I don't like my job, they overwork me, they underpay me, it's not fair, they make me work weekends, they make me work my birthday, the health insurance not good, I don't like my coworkers, the management is corrupt. Instead of getting super descriptive over here, I want you to start getting descriptive over what I'd rather have. I'd rather have a job that treats me well. I'd rather have a job that pays me well. I'd rather have a job with good insurance. I'd rather have a job with flexibility where I can work from home. I'd rather have a job where there's room for growth and there's a healthy company culture. I'd rather have a job and work with people I like. I want it to feel like a family. And as we start focusing over here, what's going to happen is the body It's going to start going over here on accident because where the mind goes, the body follows. But you got to always remember, if it'll work in this direction, it'll work in this direction. So whichever one of these sides you get the most descriptive on, you're not going to have to try to lean in that direction. Leaning this way is going to produce confidence, anticipation. Confidence. Positive expectancy. Focusing on this side, anger. You're gonna feel down on yourself. You're gonna feel like a failure because you're focusing on what you don't want. And both sides are equally true. This side is true. This side is true. Both sides are equally true. It's a matter of which side are you gonna focus on? You ever heard to say it was the best of times, it was the worst of times? That's right here, right now. It's the best of times, it's the worst of times. What are you going to focus on? What are you going to put your attention on? Are you gonna get hypnotized by this? Or are you gonna get hypnotized by this? Are you gonna put your undivided attention on this, or are you gonna put your undivided attention on this? Because you gotta understand, your feelings give birth to your thoughts, and your thoughts give birth to your feelings, and they start to play in this loop. And eventually, that loop spits out a behavior. Now, you can spit out this behavior from under the influence of this, or you can spit out the behavior from under the influence of this. One is gonna move you closer to what you want. And the other is going to move you closer to what you don't want. Which one of these are you going to get under the influence of? Now let's look at under the influence of. Let's look at alcohol. What happens when you're under the influence of alcohol? When you're under the influence of alcohol, think about it. It changes the way you walk. It changes the way you talk. It changes the way you think. It changes the way you act. It changes the way you feel. It changes you. It's the same way with a thought. When you under the influence of what you don't want, it change the way you walk, it change the way you talk, it change the way you think, it changes the way you feel, it changes the way you act. When you get under the influence of what you want, it'll change the way you think, it'll change the way you feel, it'll change the way you talk, it'll change the way you act, and most importantly, it will change the way you attract. Do you want to be attracted from over here, or do you want to be attracted from over here? No wrong answer. It's about what you want. And you got to understand, you got to get clear about what you want. If you get vivid enough about what you want, if you get descriptive enough about what you want, you're going to start to move towards it on accident. You got to understand that good ideas give birth to good ideas. They give birth to other good ideas. They give birth to other good ideas. You could be doing have anything you desire. Your only limit in life is you. Your only limit in life is is your own thinking. And when you start using your willpower to say, "I'm not gonna focus on that. I'm gonna put my undivided attention on this." What's gonna happen is you gonna find yourself in what we call a success loop. You're gonna find yourself in this loop where you can't lose for winning. I bet you've all heard people say, I can't lose, I can't win for losing. When you learn how to start focusing on what you want, you're gonna find yourself in a loop where you can't lose for winning. You're so busy winning that you ain't got no room to lose. You're so busy winning that you can't lose. You got to get under the influence of what you want. And when you learn how to get under the influence of what you want, even stuff that other people refer to as failure, that's just room for you to get more Clarity. I don't like this. I'd rather have that. I don't like this. I'd rather have that. You got to start focusing on what you want. You got to start focusing on what you want, and when you start focusing on what you want, you're gonna start solving problems on accident. Once it becomes your nature, instead of like leaning into the problem, you go, "I don't like that. I would rather have boom," and then you get wrapped up in what you'd rather have. That's gonna change the way you feel, which is gonna change the way you think, which is gonna give you a new behavior, and that new behavior is gonna move you closer to where you want to be. You gotta start walking through life under the influence of what you want. But in order to walk through life under the influence of what you want, you gotta know what you want. Most people don't know what they want. Most people have no idea what they want. Do you know what you want? Do you know what you desire? It ain't a question I can answer for you. And then once you know what you desire, I need you to get descriptive about it. Like a lot of times people come to me and say something like, man, I want to be confident. And I go, okay, what does confident mean to you? They go, man, you know what confident mean. If I go out and ask 10 people what it means to be confident, I'm gonna get 10 different answers. Some people's confidence is loud and boisterous. Some people's confidence is Quiet and collected. Some people's confidence is a nice mix of the two. What does confidence mean to you? If you woke up tomorrow and you were confident, how would you know? People say, I just want to be happy. Okay, if you woke up tomorrow and you were happy, how would you know? What type of thoughts would you be thinking? What type of body language would you have? What type of facial expressions would you be making? If you woke up tomorrow and you were happy, how would you know? You cannot hit a target that don't exist. I need you to get descriptive about what you want, and I need you to write your goals down. If it's not written down, it's a dream. If it's not written down, it's a wish. I need you to write the goal down, and I need you to make it plain. I need you to make it simple. You got to use your conscious mind to get clear about what you want. Where my eraser at? Let's talk about this. Let me erase this for a second. We touched on this briefly the other night. I'm gonna bring this back up. I'm putting this eraser right here. I need to remember that. Okay, so Okay, so we've been talking about how you got the conscious mind. Under the conscious mind, you got the critical mind. Under the critical mind, you got the subconscious mind. Right? We've been talking about this stuff. You guys know this stuff. You know that the subconscious mind is 98% of your thinking potential. You know that the conscious mind is 2% of your thinking potential. You know that the subconscious mind runs off of feeling and emotion. You know that the conscious mind runs off of logic, reason, analysis, willpower, and decision-making. Okay. So, you know that as you go through your day, you got these things called messaging units. Coming into the mind. You get messaging units from 4 places. You get them from the environment, you get them from the body, you get them from the conscious mind, and you get them from the subconscious mind. Okay. All day long, these things are pouring into the mind, billions of them a day. Okay. Now, some of those things that come through the mind are going to be things that you don't like, negatives. And what you got to start doing is you got to start using your logic Your reason, your analysis, your willpower, and your decision-making to pose the question to yourself, what would I rather have? And you got to learn how to look at these negatives and go over here and describe in a very vivid way what you would like to have. And if you can get more of the positive associations going than the negative associations, you're going to start to move towards it on accident. So what you got to do, this is how you get this. First, you got to know what it is. So this is you noticing these negatives and going, I don't like my job. I'd rather have a job with good benefits. I'd rather have a job with good vacation time. I'd rather have a job with flexibility. I'd rather have a job with room for growth, or I'd rather work for myself. I want to be in charge of my own schedule. I want to retire. I'm tired of working. First, I need you to get clear about what you want. Now you know what you want, but it's not in your life. But at least you know what it is. This is how you get it. You use the conscious mind to do what we call the first C. What's the first C, guys? Where are my people who've been in here? What is our first C? Let's get another color. What's the first C? Come on. First C, what is it? What's up, T? What's up, Hollywood? How y'all doing? What's the first C? Clarity. Boom. We use the first C to get clarity. So we get clarity up here. We use the conscious mind. You use logic, reason, analysis, willpower, and decision-making to get clear about what you want. Well, how much money do I need to make ends meet? What is the schedule? I like to wait— like to work when my kids get out of school at this time, so I need to be available for that. But I want to be off. I need a job that's going to let me be off by this. You use clarity to figure out what you want. You use the conscious mind for that, but you don't use the conscious mind to get it. You got to understand, the conscious mind is your masculine mind. The subconscious mind is your feminine mind. The job of the conscious mind is to get the subconscious mind pregnant. And the subconscious mind is going to give birth to whatever the subconscious— whatever the conscious mind hands it. Does that make sense? Masculine mind, feminine mind. This feminine mind is going to produce whatever this hands it. So you use the conscious mind to decide what you want, but after you decide what you want, now you got to get the— The feminine mind. Subconscious mind to buy in. So keep in mind, the conscious mind runs off of logic, reason, analysis, willpower, and decision-making. Guess what? The subconscious mind does not care about logic, reason, analysis, willpower, or decision-making because the subconscious mind runs off of feeling and emotion. So you logically decide what you want. But the way you get the subconscious mind to accept it is you add emotion to it. Like one day I got out of the shower and I was looking in the mirror and I looked at my body and I went, I don't like that. I'm about 30 pounds heavier than I want to be. That's not healthy. This is my logical mind talking. But I didn't— I used my logical mind to say, okay, I want to lose 30 pounds. I want to throw on some muscle. I want to drop some fat. I use my logical mind, my conscious mind to get clear about what I wanted. So it's over here. Now, how do I get myself to the gym every day? I get myself to the gym every day because I'm thinking about looking good naked. I'm thinking about having stamina for adult activities. I'm thinking about being able to beat my son in a race. I'm thinking about being able to age slowly and gracefully. I'm thinking about the emotional charge reasons that'll get me to the gym. And I'm not doing it once. I'm using repetition because you got this thing called the critical mind, and the critical mind does 3 things. It generalizes, it distorts, and it deletes. And it generalizes and distorts to delete based on what you believe to be true. So if you believe that it's hard to lose weight, if you believe that it's really easy to gain weight and everybody in your family is big boned, If you believe, man, I done lost the same 10 pounds 20 times, I'm not gonna keep it off. If you got these negative beliefs down here, when you try to push this new belief in, the critical mind is going to reject it. Okay? Yeah, tap the screen. Y'all heard April. So the way that we bypass the critical mind is through repetition. And emotion. Repetition and emotion. You can't do it once. One time ain't gonna work. You gotta keep thinking about the emotional reasons you desire what you want, and you gotta think about it so— you gotta get so involved with the thought that it starts to change the way you feel. Affirmations are a waste of time unless they change the way you feel. A vision board is a waste of time unless it changes the way you feel. If it doesn't change the way you feel, it's not going to change the way you act. Does that make sense? If it doesn't change the way you feel, it's not going to change the way you act. And when you make enough positive associations around your desire, what happens is your heart accepts it. The Bible says a man thinketh in his Heart. Heart. So is he. Not as he thinketh in his head, not as he thinks in his mind, as he thinketh in his heart. So you consciously decide what you want. You use repetition and emotion and visualization and journaling and scripting and vision boards and all those affirmation tools to generate emotion so that you feel different. And when you feel that emotion constantly enough and readily enough What's gonna happen is the heart gonna get brought in. And when the heart get brought in, we cooking now. When the heart get brought in, this is what I call confidence. The second C is calibration. I stopped giving y'all the C's. So clarity, we get clarity up here in the conscious mind. Calibration is the process of getting the subconscious mind brought in. Calibration is using our imagination, visualizing. Calibration is what I do to people as a hypnotist. I hypnotize them and make new associations in the subconscious mind. The 3rd C is confidence. Confidence is what happens when the heart gets in on the plan. Now, when you walking in confidence, it don't matter what they say on CNN because it's not on you, it's in you. It don't matter who win the election because it's not on you, it's in you. It don't matter if there's 9 people in the room or 9,000 people in the room because at this point it's not on me, it's in me. It's not something I think, it's something that I know with every cell and every fiber in my being. And this is what we call the foundation of success. You got to know what you want, you got to get calibrated to what you want, and you got to get confident in that calibration. It's easy to remain calibrated while you talking to me. It's easy to remain calibrated while you in a room full of people who get sitting in that same energy. Law of attraction is helping you to stay calibrated. Confidence is when you can stay calibrated no matter what's going on. Confidence is when you can stay calibrated when your partner look at you and go, that's stupid, you give up on everything, why are you wasting money on that? And what you got to understand is you can be calibrated to your clarity Still love your mama and not let her decalibrate you. You could be calibrated to your clarity, confident in your clarity, still love your spouse and not let them decalibrate you. Just because I love you don't mean that I got to calibrate to you. There's lots of people that I love that I'd be down if I calibrate to. Y'all tracking with me? I can love you and go, I can't calibrate to you. I can be your friend, but there's certain stuff we're not going to calibrate accordingly. We're not going to be able to calibrate to. We can calibrate to liking the same sports team, But our dreams look a little different. I'm not calibrating down. I'm only calibrating up. Okay? Now, once we got this done, now it's time to start taking action. Most people start taking action too early. Now, I'm a high performance coach. So most people, when they meet me and they find out I'm a high performance coach, they probably think I'm action, action, action. Go, go, go, go, go. Massive action. I want you to take some massive action. But what I do is I look at it as I bridge the gap. You got some people who want to look at vision boards and do affirmations all day long, and they think a pile of money is going to show up in their bathtub. You got those people, and you got the other people at the other end of the spectrum. Forget those affirmations. Work hard. Grind, grind, grind. I'll sleep when I die. Both. Get clear. Get calibrated. This is where you do those affirmations. This is where you work with a hypnotist or somebody like me. This is where you read books like Think and Grow Rich and Psycho-Cybernetics and As a Man Thinketh. This is where you get that stuff in you and you get calibrated and make those positive associations. Then you do that repeatedly enough because you got to understand your mind is a habit learning machine. Like, let's look at the habit of smoking. I've helped hundreds of people quit smoking, and every smoker I've ever talked to said that the first cigarette they ever had was disgusting. I've never had a smoker go, man, the first cigarette was just wonderful. No, the first cigarette you was trying to be cool, you was with your friends, ever had was disgusting. I've never had a smoker go, man, the first cigarette was just wonderful. No, the first cigarette you was trying to be cool, you was with your friends, everybody suffered through it, but you kept smoking. The first time you smoked, your body went, what is that, man? Hey, stop. That's not supposed to be in me. But you kept doing it over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. Eventually the critical mind say, okay, we'll adapt. Now once the critical mind adapted and accepted it, you got so good at it that now you smoking 2 packs a day and you need my help to quit. You see how that happened? The first cigarette your body rejected. But you kept doing it over and over and over and over and over again. And you started making associations. After I drink my coffee, I smoke. After sex, I smoke. When I'm in the car, I smoke. So the subconscious mind started learning the pattern of smoking. That was the calibration, doing it over and over and over again. And you're doing it with people that you enjoy talking to. A lot of times people smoking, they'll be doing something stressful. They stop doing something that's stressful and they go outside and smoke. So now your mind associates smoking with taking a break. Your body associates smoking with sex because you have the cigarette after the sex. Your body associates smoking with drinking coffee because after you drink your coffee, you smoke. Your body starts association driving your car with smoking because a few thousand times you done had the cigarette in your mouth while you was driving. So that's the calibration process, constantly doing it. Then it gets so— you do it so many times and you get so familiar with it that the heart says, okay, I'm in. Now once the heart is in, you identify as a smoker. You identify as a smoker. You start doing stuff like, hold on, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. You know me, gotta have my cigarettes. Your family got jokes about you going outside to smoke, and you saying stuff like, "You know it. You know me. You identify as a smoker." The thought of running out of cigarettes is enough to piss you off. See, you see how this work? First cigarette, you didn't like it. But when you kept. Doing it, your body learns to smoke. That's why I always tell smokers before they come in to get hypnotized, they go, what if it don't work? I tell them, oh, it's gonna work. But let me tell you something, you weren't born addicted to nicotine. You weren't born smoking 2 packs of cigarettes. You learned to smoke 2 packs of cigarettes today. You gonna leave my office a nonsmoker. When you leave my office, cigarettes gonna make you sick to your stomach. When you leave When my office, you cigarettes gonna make you sick to your stomach. leave my office, I promise you, if you put a cigarette in your mouth, you're gonna throw up in your mouth. But just like the first time, if you suffer through that and relearn the habit of smoking, your critical mind is going to adjust again. So I can hypnotize you, you're gonna leave a nonsmoker, but there's nothing stopping you from relearning the habit of smoking. Does that make sense? That's why the last C is consistency. Because you can relearn the old habits. But once we get the heart brought in, now we move to step 4, competence. Now I need you to understand that step 4 is step 4. Step 4 is not step 1. Step 4 is step 4. The example that I always use, if you reach out to me and say, hey, Coach Jay, I really want to lose 100 pounds. Can you help me? I'm gonna say absolutely, but I'm not sending you to Planet Fitness tomorrow. The first C is clarity. Is that better? First C is clarity. I'm not sending you to Planet Fitness tomorrow. I'm not telling you to stop eating carbs right now. I'm gonna say, you want to lose 100 pounds? Cool. What size shirt you want to wear? We're going to use your logic, your reason, your analysis to figure out what you want. What size shirt you want to wear? What size jeans you want to wear? What's your new dress size? Okay, I want you to imagine yourself standing on your scale in your bathroom. I want you to look down and tell me what number you see. 208. And what number do you What do you see? 220 pounds. Okay. Now that you see that 220 on that scale, how does that feel? Feels good. Sit with that feeling. Now I want you to imagine that your husband just walked in. He looking at you at this size. What is he saying? What is he doing? How does that feel to hear him say that? How does it feel to see him look at you like that? Now I want you to imagine going to work. What are your coworkers saying? They saying I look good. They saying, what did I do? What are you saying? Just working out and eating right. How does that feel? It feels good. Now I want you to imagine going to your family reunion and it's family who hasn't seen you since the last family reunion. What are they saying as they see you 100 pounds lighter? They saying I look good. Okay, how does that feel? We gonna get those feelings locked into subconscious mind. And we're gonna get them so locked into the subconscious mind that the heart gonna see everything that's going on up here, and the heart gonna say, ooh, I wanna play. When we get the heart saying, ooh, I wanna play, magic start to happen. Most people don't realize it's more connections going from the heart up into the brain than from the brain down into the heart. The heart has so much energy. coming out of it. The heart is where manifesting happens. That's why the Bible says, as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. It's one thing to know it in your head, but it's different when it's in your heart. When you become 100 pounds lighter in your heart, crazy things gonna start happening. Your metabolism gonna start speeding up. Your appetite gonna start slowing down. Carbs, they just not gonna be as attractive as they used to be. The reason you was eating all that heavy food is because you felt heavy. It was a vibrational match for the way you were feeling. But from this feeling of being 100 pounds lighter, you gotta realize this current body is a result of how you've been feeling. This current body is a result of how you've been thinking. That current bank balance is a result of how you've been feeling. That current bank balance is a result of how you've been thinking. But if you want that bank balance to look different 6 months from today, I need you to start thinking and feeling different right here, right now. If you're willing to start thinking and feeling different, the bank account gonna have to calibrate to you. Don't calibrate to the empty bank account. Don't get clear and use your logic to go, the bank account is empty, my rent is this amount, it's It's only this amount in the bank. Lord, this always happens to me. I never have enough money. I never— Now you're getting calibrated to what you don't want. And if you keep calibrating to what you don't want, the heart gonna say, okay, I'm in. You got me. You gotta start thinking on purpose. Get clear about what you want so that you can calibrate to what you want. So the heart can go, ooh, I'm in. And then that's when you're gonna start attracting really good ideas. That's when you're gonna start attracting good ideas. That's when you're gonna start finding good circumstances. That's when you're gonna start meeting the right people. You're gonna be in the right place at the right time. People gonna start calling you lucky. You're not lucky. You calibrated and clear and confident. Because let me tell you something, you can be— you can get the opportunity, but if you show up to the opportunity unclear, uncalibrated, and unconfident, what you think gonna happen? You're gonna make a fool of yourself. So a lot of times people go, man, if I just had the opportunity. Look, if you get the opportunity and you ain't got no clarity, no calibration, no confidence, you're gonna regret that opportunity. It's people, man, I just want to give me one good TED Talk. If you get booked for a TED Talk and you unclear, uncalibrated, and unconfident, you're gonna be on the internet looking like a damn fool. You think you want an opportunity. You don't want an opportunity until you clear about what you want, calibrated, and confident. So I'm not saying that taking action is not important. I'm saying get clear, get calibrated, get confident, and then take action. I'm not saying don't go back to school. I'm saying get clear, get calibrated, get confident, and then go back to school. I'm not saying don't go get your master's, don't go get your PhD. That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying get clear, get calibrated, get confident. Then go back to school and get your master's. I'm not saying don't go to the gym. I'm saying get clear, get calibrated, get confident, and then go to the gym. Does that make sense? I'm not saying don't start back dating after your divorce. I'm saying get clear about what you want, get calibrated to what you want, get confident in that calibration, and then put yourself back out there. I'm not saying don't go adopt that baby you've been thinking about adopting. I'm saying get clear about what you want, get calibrated to what you want, get confident in what you want, then go start that adoption process. You can be, do, and have anything you desire, but this right here, this 1, 2, 3, 3. This is what we call the being. Before you can do it, you gotta become it. Becoming happens when you get clear about what you want, get calibrated to what you want, and get confident in the calibration. Then the next level up is doing. Don't try to do doing before you do becoming. And the last C— what's the last C, y'all? I got some of my regulars in here. What's the last C? Confidence. What is the last C? Nah, that's the third one. Confidence is the third one. Clarity, calibration, confidence, competence. Consistency. There we go. Consistency. Every day you're asking yourself, what would I rather have? Every time you face something you don't like, you ask yourself, what would I rather have? You use what would I rather have as your pattern interrupt. What's a pattern interrupt? A pattern interrupt is a way that we hypnotize people. Like when we do what we call instant inductions, we use pattern interrupts. to do instant induction. An example of a pattern interrupt would be if I was gonna hypnotize you and I reach out to shake your hand, but when you go to grab my hand, I grab your wrist and put your hand in your face. I say, look at your hand, stare at that finger. Notice those fingers are spreading, spreading, spreading. That's it. Take a deep breath in, close your eyes, deep sleep. Now, the reason I was able to get in there and get you to sleep so quick is because you got this critical mind. Hypnosis is literally opening up this critical mind and getting you to stop analyzing, just to let information fall in. So when you do stuff that you did thousands of times, like shake hands, the critical mind kind of take a break because the critical mind going, I've did this so many times, there's nothing to be critical of. But when I jump in there and I mess up that pattern because it was expecting a handshake, but I grab your wrist and put it in front of your face, you have like this moment of What's going on? And in that moment of what's going on, I get to tell you what's going on. And when I tell you what's going on, it jumps in and it makes an association, and it's a big association that you follow. So you gonna start using what would I rather have as a pattern interrupt, because you got this pattern that you run. Usually when you see something you don't like, usually you instantly start complaining. I don't like that, it's not fair, and they should have knew, and yada yada. You're going to start going, what would I want? What would I rather have? And your subconscious mind is going to go, well, you'd rather have this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this. And you're going to consciously decide to start focusing on those positives. You're going to stop looking at what you don't want because it's still there. It's the best of times. It's the worst of times. Guess what? Everything you don't want, even the stuff you've got rid of, Still out there. You just not focused on it no more. You remember that person that you that broke up with you that you couldn't get over, but eventually you did? They still out there. You just not focused on them no more. The thing don't disappear. You just learn. You just get your attention locked on something else and stop thinking about it all the time. Think about that. They still there. They still exist. You just took control of your mind. The possibility of poverty is always out there. The possibility of sickness is always out there. You just quit thinking about it. You got so wrapped up in this that that became background noise. You got to focus on what you want. You got to control your focus. You got to control your focus. When you control your focus, you will be successful. On accident. Do you hear me? When you control your focus, when you focus on that scary movie, you do not got to try to get scared. When you focus on these positives, you do not got to try to get motivated. You do not got to try to get inspired. You do not got to try to feel like it. That's the natural result of calibrating to what you want. You got to calibrate to what you want every day. You got to ask yourself, What do I want? So every time opposition comes, what would I rather have? Okay, I know what I'd rather have. Let me calibrate to it. Let me keep calibrating to it until my heart accepts it. Realize you can't make your heart accept it. You can go outside and plant a sunflower. A sunflower gonna take however long it takes. I don't care how hard you stomp the ground and how hard you pout, it's gonna take the amount of time that it takes. And you gotta realize, like, think about— let's look at a baby. A baby has a gestation period, it's roughly 9 months. I don't care how anxious you are, do you want that baby to be born 3 months into the process? I seen my kids' ultrasound. I don't know, leave that in there. That thing is not finished cooking. Please let it stay in there for another 6 months. It's, it's not done. It's, it's not done. It's gonna take as long as it takes. Your job is to sit in this calibration process for as long as it takes. And by the time you get to confidence, you're gonna— because think about it, when the baby ready to come, ready or not, Here it comes. Ready or not, here it comes. When it's time, it's gonna make its appearance. You just gotta not abort it. You gotta stay in this phase. Keep adding these associations. Keep adding these associations. What's going on, bro? What's up? Keep adding these associations. When it gets to the point where the positive associations outweigh the negative associations, you're gonna start moving towards that shit without even trying. Okay? Stop trying to control your body. You don't gotta control your body. Control your thinking. Keep adding associations. Keep adding positive charges towards it. Like associations are things that you connect to something without even trying. Like my grandmother wears white diamond. I got a big positive association to white diamond. So I could be in Walmart and I could smell somebody who isn't my grandmother. I could smell white diamond. It don't matter if it's a white lady that I've never seen before wearing it. It don't matter if it's a man wearing it. It don't matter if somebody just sprayed it in the air and walked off. When I smell White Diamond, I don't got to try to think about my grandmother. I don't got to try to feel the warmth and the love that I already attached to my grandmother. I smell White Diamond and without even trying, it's activated. You got to start building positive associations towards your desires. Okay. If you want to get to the gym, you got to start thinking about looking good naked. Big associations around looking good naked. You got to start thinking about having all of that extra stamina for those adult activities. You got to start thinking about being at the beach with that shirt off. And you see this girl looking at you like, you better quit staring at me before my girl come over there and slap the taste out of your mouth. You got to start living those experiences before they even happen. When you get enough of those positive associations, you're going to want to go to the gym. You're going to want to go to the gym. You're going to find yourself just pulling up to the gym. That makes sense? Does that make sense? You could be doing anything you desire, but it's going to require you to start thinking on purpose. It's going to require you to stop acting like an accident. You are not an accident. You are a creator. And because you are a creator, you got to discipline your thinking because you create based on what you focus on. When you focus on a scary movie, you don't got to try to create fear. It happens as a result of what you watch. When you focus on an erotic film, you don't got to try to create an erection. It happens as a result of what you watching. It happens as a result of what you paying attention to. And you watch a funny movie, you don't got to try to create laughter. It happens as a result of what you paying attention to. When you start focusing on what you want, you don't got to try to create excitement. You don't got to try to create anticipation. That's what happens when you focus on what you want. Stop acting like a puppet. Quit going, well, it's true. Let me tell you something. Just because you think it don't mean it's true. And just because it's true don't mean you gotta focus on it. Just because you think it doesn't mean it's true. And just because it's true doesn't mean you have to focus on it. Right now it might be true that you in a world of debt. But the way to get out of debt is not by focusing on that truth. You got to realize that working on the problem is not the same thing as building a solution. The problem went that way, the solution went that way. And a lot of times we get so wrapped up in the problem that we lose sight of the solution. Really big problems have really big solutions. The bigger the problem, that means the bigger the solution. The bigger the desire, you should get excited about big problems because that means there's a big solution merely waiting on you to get in alignment with it. Big problems have big solutions. I want you to remind yourself of that the next time you're facing a big problem. Big problems go— if it's a big problem, that means there's a big solution out of there. Big problems go. If it's a big problem, that means it's a big solution out of there. But in order to get a solution, I got to take my attention off of this big problem because if I keep my attention on this big problem, I'm end up making associations to this problem. And if I get enough of those associations, my heart gonna buy in and I'm gonna become confident in the problem. I don't want to be confident in the problem. I want to be confident in the solution. People go, man, I don't got confidence. Are you confident in something? It sounds like you're confident in the problem. So we got to eject your confidence out of the problem and insert your confidence into the solution. So go ahead and describe to me what the solution is. Oh man, I don't know. If you did know, stop letting yourself off the hook with I don't know. You do know. Think about it. Stop thinking just because it didn't pop into your head in the first 5 seconds that you don't know. Sit with it. It's a lot of resistance around it because you haven't thought about it. You've been calibrating to what you don't want, so it's a lot of resistance around what you would rather have. It's going to take some time for you to sort through that resistance, but you do know what you want. It never fails. I sit there and be quiet until they talk, and eventually they go, "Man, I I don't know. I just want to be happy. Describe happy to me." I'm thinking positive thoughts. I feel good about myself. I'm not not what you're not doing. What what do you want to be doing? I want to just be able to walk into any room and not second guess myself. Okay, so you're not second guessing yourself. What are you doing? I'm, I'm clearing my thinking. I feel good about my thoughts. I know that I'm just as smart as everybody. Okay, keep going. You know what you want. You just gotta sit with it. You know what you want. It's just easier to turn on Netflix than to figure it out. You know what you want. It's just easier to scroll on TikTok than to figure it out. You know what you want. It's just easier to go have sex than to figure it out. You know what you want. It's just easier to go have a drink than to figure it out. You know what you want, it's just easier to then go figure it out. But you know what you want. Slow down, use your logic, your reason, your analysis, and your willpower to figure it out. But that's where it get tricky. You don't use your logic, your reason, your analysis, and your willpower to get it. You use the logic, the You use the logic, reason, and analysis to figure out what you want, but you don't use logic, reason, and analysis to go get it. It's some things that happened on my journey that just don't make no sense. It's some things, man, it's some blessings that came my way that you can't logically understand. Some people who helped me that didn't have no logical reason to help me. There's some people who gave me second chances that had no logical reason to give me a second There's some people who betted on me that had no logical reason to bet on me. It's not a— you don't use logic to get what you want. What's logical about an oak tree fitting inside that little-ass acorn? What's logical about that? God is not a logical creator. He is a creative creator. Okay. God is not a logical Creator. He's a creative creator. In the beginning, the earth was black, void, and without form. Okay, God noticed that darkness. And what did God do? Did God say, oh man, it's dark here? Y'all didn't tell me it was going to be dark. Now see, I didn't sign up for all of this. I came over here to create some stuff and y'all— God didn't, God didn't do that. God say, hmm, it's dark over here, hmm, let there be light. God noticed Adam was alone. God didn't go, man, Adam out here all by himself, Adam probably bored. Adam— he say, Adam alone, hmm, what would I rather have? I'd rather have him Hey Adam, let me let me get that real. What's logical about it? You realize it like the first words that God spoke to human, like his first interaction with Adam. He's telling him to go forth, be fruitful, and multiply. Like that's the first. Command. That's really the first commandment. When you talk about the Ten Commandments, the first commandment that God gave was go forth, be fruitful, and multiply. That's the first commandment. Let that sink in. You are a creator. You came here to create. It's time to stop creating on accident and start creating on purpose. Purpose. And even in the midst of creating on accident, you created some dope stuff. Even in the midst of just out here shooting from the hip, you created some dope stuff. When you start putting what you want on paper and you start taking time every day to focus on what you want, man, you going to surprise yourself. You going to surprise yourself. When you start creating on purpose, you do an all right job creating on accident. But when you start looking at what you don't like and go, okay, what would I rather have? When you stop getting hypnotized by what you don't want, and you stop getting on the phone talking about what you don't want, and you stop watching skits on TikTok about what you don't want, and you stop filling your for you page up with crap about what you don't want. And you start going, I don't like that. What would I rather have? When you realize that just because somebody offered you an offense don't mean you got to get offended. Oh man. When you realize you could call me out of my name, you could call me out of my name and I could choose not to get offended. I can go, I could argue with you, but I'd rather— I'm having a good day. I'd rather keep enjoying my day. You gonna find yourself feeling sorry for people that you would have used to got mad at. You gonna find yourself praying for people that you used to curse out. You gonna find yourself like, have mercy on them, God. Like, but I'm not getting in the quicksand with you. Quit jumping in the quicksand with people. You got to start thinking on purpose. You got to start thinking on purpose. It's some stuff in 2025 that's waiting on you to discipline Notice why it's not waiting on you to do different. It's not waiting on you to build new. It's waiting on you to start thinking on purpose. It's waiting on you to get discipline in your mind. You do not use willpower to control your body. The Bible done told you, you can't, you can't do nothing with flesh. You gotta— you don't use willpower to control flesh. You use willpower to develop faith. Willpower is up here in the conscious mind. Conscious mind is 2% of your thinking potential. Okay? You don't use willpower to make yourself go to the gym. You use willpower to use your mind in a way to make you want to go to the gym. You use willpower to get clear about what you want and focus on it and see it. I'm telling you guys, visualization works. Okay? You got this part of the brain called the thalamus. It has a hard time telling. I'm not gonna say it can't, but man, it blurs the lines like crazy between something that you vividly imagine and something that's actually happening. You gotta realize that the cells and the fibers, your endocrine system, your nervous system. It's not responding to reality. It's responding to the story you tell it about reality. You got to start picking a better story. And you can't just tell that story with your mouth. You got to feel that story. What you feel is way more important than what you say. Y'all know the story about Isaac, Esau, and Jacob? Yeah. And how Jacob was able to take Esau's blessing Because he felt worthy to the father. Didn't matter, did he? He wasn't even Esau. He wasn't even the firstborn. But Isaac couldn't see. Isaac used to feel them to tell them apart. He said, Esau, my son, is that you? Isaac said, yes, Father, it's I. And he rubbed him and he felt that hairy skin. And he go, Esau, my firstborn son. And he gave him the inheritance. He was not the firstborn son. But he felt like the firstborn son. I know you ain't— you might not— the money might not be there right now, but can you latch on to the feeling? Have y'all ever looked up the word manifest? Have you ever looked up the word manifest? It might surprise you when you look it up. The word manifest means to make obvious to the eye or the mind. That's all it means. Make obvious to the eye or the mind. When you look up synonyms for the word manifest, don't take my word for it. Look it up when we end the— when we end the live. It can keep the inheritance, but what if it is for you? What if it is for you? Because that's what God wanted. God also gave you free will. Well, bro, if it don't drive you, it don't drive you. I charge people to drive. If you want me to cater a session to you, you got to book a session. But if not, you got to get in where you fit in, bro. You can be, do, and have anything you desire, okay? Your only limit in life is your own imagination. And even the stuff that God has ordained for you, he not gonna hand it to you, okay? He's not gonna do it for you. He'll do it through you, but he's not gonna do it for you. You can be, do, and have anything you desire. Being anxious about it is not desire. Upset about the fact that it's not there yet is not desire. Second-guessing yourself is not desire. Desires when you purposely going in and building these new associations in the subconscious mind. You can do that. You doing it on accident all day long. It's time for you to start doing it on purpose. It's time for you to start doing it on purpose. I'm about to wrap up.
