Your behavior isn't the real issue. Change your identity first, and the behaviors follow automatically. Trying to fix what you do without shifting who you are is backwards.

Think all of that is an identity problem. If you shift the identity, the problem will cease to exist. Most people spend way too much time working on the problem and not the identity that's responsible for creating the problem. I tell my clients all the time, "I don't care about your behavior. Your behavior is none of my business." You know why your behavior is none of my business? Because guess what I know for a fact: if we change your identity, you'll accidentally create new behavior. If we just change the identity, you'll accidentally create some new behavior.
