Welcome to the live. Yo, if it's your first time in the room, I'm Coach Jay. I'm a high-performance hypnotist. I hypnotize entrepreneurs, athletes, founders, executives. I'm a big believer that every problem is a thinking problem. Every problem is a thinking problem. If you can think it, you can do it. If you can't think it, you can't do it. Procrastination, that's a thinking problem. Imposter syndrome, that's a thinking problem. Second-guessing myself, that's a thinking problem. That, that's a thinking problem. You don't got to solve the problem, you got to change the way you think. Too many people are spending too much time working on— stop working on problems. You don't work on problems, you starve problems. You don't work on problems, you starve problems. You work on solutions. I meet a lot of people that's working on problems. A lot of times when people book appointments with me, they think they're going to come to my office and work on the problem. If we only got 2 hours, why do you think we're gonna waste time on the problem? No, you've been studying the problem. You've mastered the problem. That's your problem. You've literally, literally became the master of your problem and you know nothing about your solution. That's the problem. That is the problem. You're focusing on the problem. You on YouTube watching videos about the problem. You on TikTok watching videos about the problem. You in your journal writing about the problem. You on the phone talking about the problem. You on your knees praying about The problem. You doing affirmations while you thinking about the— let me do my affirmation so I can get this money that I don't have. All of it is based in the problem. You got to stop focusing on what you don't want. You got to get crystal clear about what you want. You got to get a target. You got to get a deadline— not a deadline, you got to get a finish line. What do I want? Yeah, solutions. Solution, solution, solution. Every problem has this equal opposite called the solution. Starve the problem and focus on its equal opposite. Starve the problem and focus on its equal opposite. What's going on, Donnie? How you been, bro? What is up? What is up? What's going on, Black Arch? What is up? What is up? What is up? Life does happen. What is up? What is up? What is up? Explain hypnotizing, please. I got you, man. Let's let me get some people in here. We gonna start from the ground up. I'm gonna tell you this, you are a really good hypnotist, rather you know it or not already. You hypnotize people all day long, you get hypnotized all day long. When I do hypnosis, when I hypnotize someone on purpose, what I'm doing is I'm purposely running a 3-step process that we call ABS. AB, let's get into it. Let's go. New people, they're getting in where they fit in. Well, we can go ahead and get— go ahead and dive in. Let's get rid of this. And we might even bring it back into the discussion. Let's get all of that off of there and let's get into it. So when I'm hypnotizing somebody, I'm running a process that we call ABS. ABS, okay? A stands for attention. Step 1 is to get their attention. Can't hypnotize you if I can't get your attention. There's all sorts of ways to get somebody's attention. You can call their name, you can make a loud noise, you could do something funny. Step 1 is to get their attention. Step 2, bypass the critical mind. Right now, if you just coming in the live, you probably using what's known as your critical mind. You're weighing what I'm saying. You're going, that's true, that's not true, that makes sense, that doesn't make sense. We bypass that. Step 3, stimulate the subconscious. That's all I'm doing when I hypnotize somebody. Step 1, step 2, step 3. Get their attention, bypass their critical mind, stimulate their subconscious. If you do that, you just got hypnotized. If you do— if somebody does to you, they just hypnotize you. If you do it to somebody, you just hypnotize them. Now this is where this gets interesting. Let me sit down. This is where this gets interesting. If you go to a comedy show and you start laughing, guess what just happened? That comedian got your attention. He bypassed your critical mind. He stimulated your subconscious. If somebody offends you, guess what happened? They got your attention. They bypassed your critical mind. They stimulated your subconscious. If somebody gives you a compliment and you say, oh, thank you, appreciate it, guess what just happened? They got your attention. They bypassed your critical mind. They stimulated your subconscious. This process that I run when I hypnotize people, you run it on others all day long, and they return the favor and run it back to you all day long. Hypnosis is not something magical; it's not something mystical. It's something that you're always doing. Me and my clients, we just do it on purpose. You already got a story that you're telling yourself, and you're living out that story to the last detail. Everything from how much money you make to the type of people you date to the way that you dress to your body language to rather not you hold. Eye contact and how you shake hands runs through this story that you tell yourself. So what we do over on this side of TikTok is we get hypnotized on purpose. You're gonna get hypnotized by something. You're going to be hypnotized by something. Some people are hypnotized by a story of no opportunity and it's the government's fault, and if my dad would have just did this, then life would be That's hypnosis. That story that they're telling themselves, that subconscious story that they tell about themselves, they already hypnotizing themselves. Some people hypnotize themselves, say, hey man, I'm creative, I'm resourceful, I'm the type of person that figures things out. You can take everything, give me a year, I'll get it all back. That's hypnosis. That story that they're telling themselves, that story has their attention. That story has bypassed their critical mind. That story has stimulated their subconscious. Keep this in mind because this is going to come up several times throughout the live. Get the attention, bypass the critical mind, stimulate the subconscious. Get the attention, bypass the critical mind, stimulate the subconscious. If you come home and there's an eviction notice on your front door, it's going to get your attention, it's going to bypass your critical mind, it's going to stimulate your subconscious, and you're going to have to reframe it. You got to change that story. It's going to have to stop being the government's fault, or you can't have a different result until the government does something different. Different. But if it's your fault, if it's your life and it's something that you're gonna take control of, you can have a different result now. You got to take full ownership of your— you got to like look around and notice what you see. And rather you love what you see or hate what you see, you got to say, I created that. And because I created that, I can create something different. Now, they created that They gotta do something. If it's my ex-wife's fault, I can't have a different reality. If it's my boss's fault, I can't have a different reality until my boss does. But if I created that, I created this situation, I created these circles. Once I take ownership of those circumstances, those circumstances just became malleable. So you take full ownership of whatever you see. You own it completely. Own it completely. And then you got to get clear about what you want. You got to get clear about what you want. Most people are hyperfocused on what they don't want, and that's why they get so much of it. Where attention goes, energy flows. There is no law of exclusion. There is only a law of attraction. There is no law of exclusion. There's only a law of attraction. So when you say, I don't like this, what you're saying is come closer. I don't like that, come closer. I really can't stand it, come close. There is no law of exclusion. To focus on is to pull closer. Even if you're saying I don't like it, one of the things that you gotta understand about the subconscious mind is that it doesn't, it doesn't negate information. If I go in the room and I say, "Hey baby, don't get mad," she gonna say, "Why am I not getting mad? What did you do? What happened? What what what happened? What did you do? What what happened?" She doesn't know how to not get mad. If I say, "Hey guys, whatever you do, don't think about a pink elephant," first thing you do is think about a pink. Your subconscious mind doesn't know how to not do something. So when you tell yourself, hey, don't screw this up, hey, don't fail, hey, don't get mad, guess what? You're gonna do the exact thing that you're just— that you don't want to do. What do I want? The way that you stop thinking about a pink elephant is you get busy thinking about a blue tiger or a green whale or whatever. You got to think on purpose. I tell my clients all the time, you don't use willpower to change your life, you use willpower to change your mind. If you just change your mind, your behaviors will change theyself. Your actions and attitude gonna follow your mind. You don't got to change your bank account. You don't got to change the number you see on the scale. What you got to change is your mind. If you change your mind, your behavior is going to take care of itself. Think about it. When you feel upset, when you feel upset, you don't got to try to stomp your feet, roll your eyes, curse people out, and slam doors. You'll accidentally behave that way when you feel upset. For sure, Donnie. When you feel upset, you accidentally act upset. What you got to do is you got to learn how to feel successful before the results show up. You got to learn how to feel loved before the relationships show up. I tell my athletes all the time, you don't get a trophy and then become a champion. What happens is you become a champion. Now, when you become a champion, you start walking different, you start talking different. You start practicing different. You start eating different. You start sleeping different. You start accidentally holding yourself to a higher standard because that's what champions do. You start accidentally holding your teammates to a higher standard because that's what champions do. You start accidentally showing up to practice early and leaving practice late because that's what champions do. Then you accidentally win a trophy because that's what champions do. But if you waiting on the trophy to become a champion, you'll never get the trophy. Because trophies don't make champions, champions make trophies. Does that make sense? Money doesn't make millionaires, millionaires make money. If you want a million dollars, I suggest you become a millionaire. You can't get the money and then become a millionaire. You have to become a millionaire. Now, when you become a millionaire, you're going to accidentally start reading books that millionaires would read. When you become a millionaire, you're going to accidentally start listening to podcasts That millionaires would listen to. When you become a millionaire, you would accidentally say, "Ain't nothing wrong with my iPhone that I already have. That two thousand dollars that I was about to spend on a new iPhone, I must find two thousand dollars on Apple stock." When you start thinking like a millionaire and living like a millionaire and behaving like a millionaire, the bank account has no choice but to respond to that. That's what I do with the people I coach. I don't change how they perform. I change what they think. I change what they believe. I change what they expect. I change what they focus on. I change their narrative of the world. Now, if I change my narrative of the world, I'm gonna accidentally act different. I change the story that I'm telling myself, I'm accidentally active. If I help somebody quit smoking, I don't gotta make them quit smoking. I gotta make them feel different about cigarettes. Does that make sense? I don't make them quit smoking. I make them feel different about cigarettes. But as a result of feeling different about cigarettes, guess what they gonna do? Stop smoking. It's never about how do I make myself do this thing? What thoughts do I need to be thinking? What feelings do I need to be feeling? What do I need to be focusing on? What is the story that I need to be telling myself that would cause me to accidentally do that thing? That's how you rewire a mind. Not how do I make myself go to the gym? If I was the type of person that went to the gym, what type of stuff would I be thinking about? What feelings would I be feeling? What would be my narrative? Okay, let me start practicing that narrative. Let me start practicing holding those feelings. You're gonna find yourself accidentally going to the gym if you get good at that narrative. If you make that narrative, if you make those feelings familiar to your, to your nervous system, you're gonna find yourself accidentally pulling up at the gym. Not by force, not by might, but by my spirit, says the Lord of hosts. Does that make sense? So as you rewiring yourself, you got to keep this process in mind. What am I giving my attention to? What am I allowing to bypass my critical mind? What am I allowing to stimulate my subconscious? Because that's what's hypnotizing me. If I'm allowing the state of the economy and the state of the government and all this stuff on the news to get my attention, and I'm allowing it to bypass my critical mind and stimulate my subconscious, that's what's hypnotizing me. You gotta start running that process on purpose. I'ma purposely get hypnotized by that fine-ass woman walking around this house. I'ma purposely get hypnotized by the success of my business. I'ma purposely get hypnotized by my goals. And I'm so hypnotized by my goals, I don't give a fuck that it's only 5 people in this room. I don't need 100 people in this room to feel good because the stuff that I'm already hypnotized by, I woke up feeling I don't need out there to look a certain way before I can access my confidence. I don't need out there to look a certain way before I can put my shoulders back, put my chest out, and put my chin up. My confidence is not connected to that number at the top of the screen. My confidence is connected to the stuff that I'm already hypnotized by. Get hypnotized on purpose. Get you a goal. Now, before you can get hypnotized on purpose, you gotta know what you want. You gotta know what you want. Most people don't know what they want. They are experts at what they don't want. When people show up to first sessions with me, I go, hey, I'm Coach Jay. Nice to meet you. How can I help you? Coach Jay, I can't keep doing this. Jay, I hate my job. I have a master's degree and these people only pay me $60,000. Jay, can you believe it? I have a master's degree. I spent $70,000 getting my degree and they only pay me $60,000. My manager doesn't even have a master's degree, Jay. And I told them I couldn't work weekends when I first— they put me on this. I said, hey, hey, Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Okay, what, what do you want? Well, Jay, I'm just tired of— No, that's not what I asked you. What do I want? Jay, I just feel like nobody unders— Hey, 1, 2, 3, wide awake, snap out of it. What do you want? Well, Jay, I just want to be happy. Okay, that's your problem. When I said, hey, I'm Coach Jay, how can I help you? You unprovoked went on this rant about what you didn't want. And when I interrupted the rant, I said, okay, hey, what do you want? You went back into what you don't want. When I say, hey, that's not what I asked you. What do you want? Again, you went right back into the narrative of what you didn't want. When I finally said, hey, snap out of it. 1, 2, 3, wide awake. What do you want? You said, Coach, I just want to be happy. So when you was talking about what you didn't want, you had stories, you had evidence, you had hand gestures, you had facial expressions, you had data, you had examples, you had proof, you had all of this neural activity around what you didn't want. When we started talking about what you do want— Coach Jay, I just want to be happy. If you were your nervous system, which way would you go? If you were your endocrine system, what type of hormones would you be releasing into your bloodstream? If you were your reticular activation system, what type of things would you be allowing into your awareness? The problem is you got all of this data, all of this stamina, all of this energy cooked up around what you don't want, and what you do want is vague. What you do want is vague, and you wonder why you don't have it. So step 1 in the 5-step process that we call the 5C process is clarity. Let's get into the 5Cs. Let's get some energy in here, y'all. Let's get some energy in here. Not breaking 1,000 taps yet is crazy. Let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go! I really like the way this blackboard look, but a whiteboard is easier. Easier to deal with. All right, let's get into it. All right, we got some more tabs on the screen. Let's see. I need this. I know what I want. Well, if you know what you want, it ain't no reason we shouldn't be moving toward it. Once you know what you want and you start focusing on it and we run the rest of these 5 C's, you're gonna start moving toward it on accident. So we were already talking about clarity, which is the first C. Clarity is really important because you can't get what you want until you know what you want. Imagine if you were a taxi driver and you pulled up to pick somebody up and you think— you say, hey, where are we going? They get in the car, they say, don't take me to the mall, I hate them all. I hate them all. I can't stand them all. It's too expensive. All those teenagers up there, parents not watching their kids. You know what's wrong with this generation, man? When we was growing up— That's not what I asked you. Where do you want to go? That's how a lot of people are going through life. All of their clarity is in what they don't want. So step 1 is get clear about what do I want. Now, don't confuse what you want with how to get it. That's another step. Don't confuse what you want with how to get it. The how is not the what. I didn't say how to get what you want. I said, what do you— Coach Jay, I want to build a successful business and I want to— That's not what I— What do you want? Skip that. What do you want? What is the end goal of what you want? Most people don't know what they want. They think they know what they want. They don't know what they want. They know what they think they got to do to get what they want, but they don't know what they want. So step 3 in my— I mean, step 1 in my process is we got to get clear about what you want. Coach Jay, I want to quit smoking. No, you don't. No, no, Jay, I really do want to quit. No, you don't. That's what you think you got to do to get what you want. What do you want? Well, Coach Jay, my doctor said— I don't care what your doctor said. What do you— listen to what I'm asking you. You were so hypnotized by this story that we've been asking ourselves that everything new coming in has to pass through this filter of this story you've been practicing for years. That's the first thing we do as hypnotists. I got a 1, 2, 3, wide awake. Snap out of that story. That story is the reason you stuck. Stop defending that story. We got to detach you from that story. One, two, three. Why to wait? You got to come out of the sucking place of that story. What do you want? Well, Coach J, my wife said. I don't care what your wife said. Listen to what I'm asking you. What do you want? And I'm gonna keep digging for what they want until I figure out what they really want. And it usually something like, well, Coach J, I got a daughter, man. She's she's three years old. She's beautiful. You want to see a picture of her? I said, yeah, man, let me see a picture of your baby. Oh man, she is gorgeous. Congratulations, Jay. I want— man, I want to— I want to be around for my daughter, man. My dad died when we was young. My uncle had to walk my sister down the aisle when she got married. Coach, yeah, I want to walk my daughter down the aisle. Ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding. That's what you want. You think you got to put down cigarettes to get that, but that's what you want. You want to walk your daughter down the aisle. You want to see your daughter graduate high school and college. You want to see your daughter get married. That's what you want. That's the— not Coach Jay, I want to quit smoking. Not Coach Jay, I want to go to the gym. Not Coach Jay, I want to get my big— what do you want? Are we clear about clarity? Yeah. You gotta understand, you got a conscious mind and you got a subconscious mind. Okay. This bottom 98%, that's your subconscious, and it's 98% of your thinking potential. 98% of your thinking potential. This is your conscious mind. It's 2% of your thinking potential. 2% of your thinking potential. This 2% runs off of logic. Reason, analysis, willpower, and decision-making. Logic, reason, analysis, willpower, and decision-making. That's 2%. It's 98% runs off of feeling and emotion. 98% of you runs off of feeling and emotion. 98% of your thinking potential runs off feeling and emotion. And most people's goals, if they have them at all— most people don't even have goals— even the people who do have goals, most of them are only applying to this 2%. It's only logic, it's only reason, it's only analysis, it's only willpower and decision-making. And they're leaving the 98% out of the goal. They're leaving the feeling and emotion out of the goal. Do you see the difference in the emotional charge between, Coach Jay, I need to quit smoking, and Coach Jay, I need to be here to walk my baby girl down the aisle when she gets married? Do you see the difference in those? One is, I know I shouldn't be doing this, it's not good for me. One is drenched in feeling. One is drenched in emotion. That's going to give us the leverage that we need to actually change your mind. Does that make sense? So when I say clarity about what you want, I'm not even talking about the objective thing. I'm talking about subjectively. What do you want? That making sense? Is this resonating? Are we helping anybody? Talk to them. My life is up. I go in there, hang out with that fine-ass woman quick. As soon as I start feeling like I'm talking to myself, I will shut this live down quick. Y'all better say something. Y'all in here with me? Talk to me. Let me know. All right, 100%. Let's go. Kale saved y'all. I was gonna land this plane. All right, step 2 is calibration. Calibration. Once I know what I want, I gotta get calibrated to what I want. Don't overthink calibration. When you calibrate to a funny movie, you'll laugh on accident. When you calibrate to a sad movie, you'll get sad on accident. If it's a person in your life that you attracted to, all you got to do is calibrate to them. You'll get aroused on accident. You don't got to use willpower to get aroused. You don't got to try to get aroused. Just calibrate to something you are attracted to, and your body is going to respond to what you focus on. Calibration is about focusing on what you want. Calibration is about focusing on what you want. My favorite calibration tool is hypnosis, but people always want to skip the clarity and go right into the calibration. Step one is clarity. You can't get what you want until you know what you want. So you use this two percent. You use your conscious mind. You use your logic, your reasoning, your analysis to figure out what you want. Now that you know what you want, you use the ninety eight percent to get it. Before we can really take full advantage of the ninety eight percent, we gotta calibrate the ninety eight percent to what we want because your If you don't have it, that means your subconscious mind isn't calibrated to it. So currently your subconscious mind is calibrated to your not having of that thing. We got to get our subconscious mind familiar with this thing that we want. Is this making sense? So calibration is about focusing on what you want. And remember, I want you focusing subjectively, not objectively. How would I feel if I already had that thing that I desire? What would I think? What would I— let me— I think I got a— this is one of the things I work with my clients with. Yeah, let me show y'all this, make this a little bigger for y'all. So I'm real big on these 7 keys with my clients. What would you believe if you already had it? How strongly do you believe it? What would your perception be if you already had it? What type of thoughts would you be emotionally charging if you already had it? What would you be focusing on if you already had it? How would you be responding and reacting if you already had it? What would you expect if you already had it? I don't gotta make you have it. If I get you believing, perceiving, focusing, and reacting and expecting a certain way, you'll accidentally start moving closer to the having of it. What's going on, Hustle Junkie? So calibration is about believing this thing, believing not that you have the thing, believing the things that you would believe that would make you have the thing. Coach Jay, I know I should be going live, but I don't, I don't go live. If you were the type of person who went live, what would you believe? Well, Coach Jay, I would believe people care about what I got to say. There are people all around the world just waiting to invest in what I got going on. There are people around the world who need to hear about my— because I got some really valuable stuff over here. I would believe that the the stuff that I talk about is so important, it might stop somebody from unaliving themselves. I would believe that when I go live, I'm putting life back. I believe that God sent me here to do this very thing. Okay, I don't gotta make you go live. I gotta help you believe that. What would be your perception if you were the type of person who loved going live? What would be your perception of going live? My perception would be, man, when I go live, I lose track of time. I get to talk to all of these people from all over the world, and I get to meet people. See, I can put— I'm in my robe, and I'm literally networking and meeting people from all over the Jay, I'm 50 steps from my bedroom and I'm literally able to. So I don't gotta make you go live. I gotta help you sit in that perception. What would you be focusing on if you were already the type of person who went live? Jay, I'd be looking at my analytics. I'd be looking at my CRM to see how many leads I got during the day. Okay, let's start focusing on that now. How would the version of you who loves going live? How would they respond if only five people showed up to their live? Jay, they wouldn't give a fuck. They there because they like. Like being live. They there because they like being on camera, they like talking to people, they like networking. And those 5 people in the room, man, they— those 5 people finna get my undivided attention. What would you expect if you were already— there's a version of you that love going live? Chad, I expect my following to go up every day. I would expect hundreds of new followers to come into my thing every day. I would expect to enjoy the process of going, okay, I don't gotta make you go live. I gotta get you believing those beliefs Perceiving that perception, holding those emotionally charged thoughts, focusing on that outcome, reacting the way that version of you reacts, and expecting that way. If we do that, you're going to find yourself accidentally going live. That's what calibration is about. Calibration is about sitting down, calibrating to those beliefs, sitting down, holding that conviction, sitting down, working on that perception, not just letting your perception happen. Creating your perception from the ground up. My clients, they run what I call identity. Let me show y'all something, man. Y'all, y'all think this thing is a game? Give me a sec. Let me open up incognito windows so I won't accidentally show y'all any of my clients' information. Give me a second. Incognito. All right, get this out of here. Let me show y'all something. So this is what I call Identity 2.0. All right, look, affirmations, I'm gonna sit you over here for a sec. This is what I call Identity 2.0. If anybody's interested in doing Identity 2.0, it's one of our deep dive coaches. You get to spend about 10 weeks with me and we Rebuild your entire identity. So I would have them start— let's say I'm working with a client named Chris. Let's say, okay, Chris, that's, that's this version of you that has these problems, is anxious, is not performing at his highest level, is second-guessing himself. Okay, Chris, let's design your 2.0 identity. Do you guys remember when Beyoncé was calling herself Sasha Fierce? Yes. I guarantee you she was working with somebody like me. She was getting to a point in her career where it was time to start selling out stadiums and doing world tours. Beyoncé didn't have the confidence. Beyoncé didn't have the body language or the mindset to do it. So they created what I call a 2.0 identity named Sasha Fierce, and they let Sasha drive the boat. There's even a Beyoncé interview where she goes, um, The interviewer asked, what happened to Sasha Fierce? And she goes, I don't need her anymore. I don't need— I don't need her anymore. She spent so much time being— Sasha Fierce was her anchor to say, hey, nervous system, do this. Instead of like— a lot of times people are trying to build their identity piece by piece. But where do I put my hands? Okay, I got my shoulders back, I got my chest out. Now I gotta— Now you're walking through life looking like a robot. What we do is we just design an identity, give it a name, and say, hey, subconscious mind, do that. Subconscious mind. Your subconscious mind is childish. It loves to play dress-up. It loves to pretend. Okay, so let's say his name is Chris. He would say, well, hey man, you know, I was a college football player. My friends used to call me C. Okay, let's build the identity of C. Let's step outside of Chris for a moment and let's build C. Let's build C. So give me people that C looks up to. They could be athletes, actors, fictional characters, people from your real life that you just know in their mind. Give me 3 people that C looks up to. Uh, he might say, man, I love, I love I love Deion Sanders, man. Okay, both Deion Sanders. Who— what is Deion Sanders, man? He's a great athlete, great father, and a coach. What qualities do they embody that 2.0 has? Oh man, charisma, quick-witted. Determination. Okay, what would they do in your current situation? Oh man, first off, he wouldn't care what other people thought. He would do him confidently, independent of the result. Okay, cool. Pick another person, fill out all those things about that person. Okay, pick another person, fill out all those things about that person. Then we go down here. What does your personal counsel of those 3 people What do they represent together? Then you package all 3 of those people up, and that's just to get your brain fired up. That's just to get certain neural pathways lit up, because a lot of times you'll have trouble seeing things for yourself, but you can see it for other people, especially people that you put on pedestals. You can see it easily. So that's just to get your brain moving in that direction. Let's, let's begin designing C. So first thing we're gonna do is we're gonna start with C's belief architecture. What does C believe about themselves that the old version didn't? We gonna go through, got some prompts if you get stuck and you need some help. I'm someone who— I'm the type of person who is just like me too. Stupid. What does 2.0 believe about their capacity to handle difficulty? What does 2.0 believe about how the world works? Not 1.0. Not, not the current version of you that's created this current reality. Not this limited version of you. That unlimited version of you. What does he believe about the world? He believes money is everywhere, man. It's harder to not make money than it is to make money. He believes that most people overcomplicate success. This stuff not— this stuff not hard. It's boring at times. It's repetitive at times. But this stuff isn't hard. People overcomplicate this shit. Money is everywhere. What does he believe about opportunity? Opportunity is everywhere, man. This isn't the part where you try to be right. This is the part where you create the belief system that's gonna make you show up as a person you desire to be. You gotta understand the power of belief. Imagine if we had a mutual friend. Let's say our mutual friend's name was Barney, and I say, hey bro, you heard what happened to Barney? You say, no, what happened to Barney? I say, man, Barney died last night, bro. You say, no. I say, yeah, man. But I just saw Barney. Yeah, man. I said, I was just joking. Barney had a son yesterday, man. You gonna say, Jay, man, why the hell would you do that? Barney didn't have to be dead, but when you believed Barney was dead, your nervous system act the same way that it would act if Barney really was dead. It doesn't matter if Barney is dead or not. If you believe Barney is dead, you gonna feel it in your body. Your nervous system will say shit, Barney. Yeah, Barney, man. You don't the belief doesn't have to be true right now, but if you can believe that it's true, your nervous system gonna act like it's true. I know you might be going with Jay. It's not no opportunity, and it's limited, and it's not enough to go. I know you believe that right now, and I can look at your life and tell that you believe that right now because reality is reflecting that back to you. This is not about what you believe. This is about what 2.0. The version of you who already has it, the version of you who has different life experience. What does he believe? So it's really important that you detach from what's going on here as we design 2.0. So when I'm doing this with people, I'm constantly popping their hand. Hey, that sounds like something you believe. This version of you that booked this session. I'm not asking you what he believes. I don't care what he believes because his beliefs is what's keeping you stuck. What does the version of you who has already overcame that, what does he believe? The version of you with unshakable confidence, the version of you that can walk in any room with his shoulders back, his chest out, and his chin up thinking clear, positive thoughts. The version of you that stand on stages as if God himself put him there. What does he believe? Then you see, you see the look in their eyes change, see their body language accidentally change, because for the first time they thinking in the right direction. So then we go to— I skipped over to attention, no focus. What does 2.0 look for and notice in the world? 1.0 is looking for excuses. 1.0 was looking for evidence. What does 2.0 look for out in the world? 2.0 looks for opportunity. 2.0 is looking for problems to solve. 1.0 was running from problems. 2.0 knows that as an entrepreneur, the money is in the fucking problems. 2.0 gets excited about problems. Problems, because he knows that every problem has an equal opposite solution. I used to own a cleaning business. During COVID our cleaning business went from making more money than we could count to no money at all, almost overnight. All our clients fired us. They didn't want the cleaners in their house. I'm an entrepreneur. That's a problem. What do entrepreneurs do? Entrepreneurs solve problems. Now, I'm gonna be honest with you, it took me about 2 months to get from under the influence of what I didn't want. It took me about 2 months to unfold my arms, unball up face and come out of this poor me story. But when it was time to— when I finally decided, hey, shoulders back, chest out, chin up, what do I want? I want my business thriving. I want to have work for the women who work for me to do. They got their single moms. I want my employees to be able to feed their damn children. I want to win. I want to be the business owner that other business owners call and say, Jay, how are y'all thriving in a time such as this? As I started focusing on what I want, a good idea found me. Not I found a good idea, a good idea found me. Stop marketing the cleaning business as a luxury cleaning service. Start marketing the cleaning business as a disinfectant service. Start marketing the business as a disinfectant service. Within 3 weeks, booked solid, waiting lists. But when it wasn't about that idea, I could have came up with that idea 2 months ago, but I was focused on what I didn't want. I was noticing what I didn't want. I was paying attention to what I didn't want. When you're paying attention to what you don't want, You'll have no problem finding other people to complain with, people to compare stories with. You'll find a lot of people who get it. But what you won't find is people who can help you. The people with solutions don't like hanging out with people who got problems for every solution. Jay, my brother-in-law can help me, but he just won't. He's on a different frequency. What if I told you you invisible to your brother-in-law? You feel heavy to your brother-in-law. You feel annoying to your brother-in-law. He's nice to you because he don't want to fight with your sister. But when you are focused on what you don't want, he don't want to talk to you. Jay, my sister, she could help. She could easily help me. She won't even just— she don't know. She don't want you coming to her workplace with that negative attitude and people knowing. She don't— she— it ain't that she can't, but the idea to do it not even on her mind because you focused in the wrong direction. You got to control your focus. So we get intentional. We don't just let our focus end up where it ends up. What does 2.0 look for and notice in the world? What internal signals does 2.0 notice and trust? What does 2.0 filter out that the old self obsessed over? We, we design all of this from the ground up. Expectation patterns. What does 2.0 expect from themselves when 2.0 walks into a challenging situation? What do they expect? I accept a solution to show up. Do you know who I am? I don't negotiate with terrorists. I'm Coach Jackman. I know a solution is here. What's the— I don't know yet, but I know it's a solution. I know it's a solution. What does generally turn out? Things always work out for me. The universe is conspiring behind my back. God is conspiring behind my back to make sure things work out. All things work for those who love the Lord. I love the Lord. Everything works for me. Everything is working out for my good. Everything is working out for my good. Behavior responses. How does 2.0 respond when triggered by old patterns? Yeah, that's all I'm gonna get, y'all. You gotta come, you know, you gotta come up to the sweet side if you want the whole, if you want the whole thing. But you gotta stop letting your mindset just happen. You gotta stop letting your identity just happen. You gotta handcraft your identity. If you want to be successful, if you like what you getting, keep doing what you doing. But if you want to have some stuff you never had, if you want to get some results you never got, you're gonna have to start thinking some thoughts you never thought. You have to start feeling some feelings you never felt. You're gonna start hanging out in some environments you never hung out in. And if especially if you like the first one in your family, if you want to be the first one in your family to do something, you're gonna have to be willing to think and entertain some thoughts that nobody in your family has ever entertained. You're gonna have to be— you're gonna have to read some books that nobody else in your family has ever read. And you got to be okay with them calling you weird. And I don't care, I'm not calibrated to you. And that's the importance of clarity, because the reason you calibrate to what's going on out there is because you don't got clarity in here. When you got clarity in here and you're calibrated to that clarity, that stuff that's distracting you now, you'll find yourself accidentally getting on TikTok less. You'll find yourself accidentally watching less corn. You'll find yourself accidentally eating different when you get calibrated to something different. All right, I think we beat the hell out of calibration enough. Do we understand what I mean when I say calibration? Yes. Third C is confidence. All right, confidence isn't something that you make happen. Confidence is the result of calibrating. Confidence isn't something that you make happen. Confidence is the result of calibrating. If I just keep calibrating, I'm going to become confident in what I calibrate to. If I just keep calibrating, I'm going to become confident in whatever I calibrate in. If I call— if I just keep calibrating, I'm the type of person that walk in the rooms with my shoulders back, my chest out, and my chin up. That's me. That's what I do. If I just keep calibrating to that, if I just keep calibrating to the thoughts that relate to that, the beliefs that relate to that, the expectations that— if I just keep calibrating, at some point I'm going to become confident. Coach Jay, how long do I got to calibrate? Until you die. You're going to be calibrating forevermore. I've been doing what I do for 20 years. If you saw me in the morning calibrating to my confidence, you would think I was crazy. Aren't you already confident? Yes, but the way that I stay confident is continuous calibration. Imagine if I go to the gym, put the work in to get a six-pack, then I stop going to the gym. What you think gonna happen to said six-pack? It's not a degree. You don't get it and hang it on the wall. It's something that you gotta keep calibrating. So you get clear about what you want, not what you don't want. What do I want? Then you get— you calibrate to what you want. Remember, when we're calibrating, it's not about making the result. It's about what do I need to think What do I need to feel? What do I need to expect? What do I need to believe? What do I need to focus on that makes that result inevitable? Fuck the result. The result is a distraction. And you gotta understand that during the process, the result is the last thing that shows up. So if you need the result to access the stake, you, you're shooting yourself in the foot. That's like me looking at this and saying, I'll smile when he smiles. Jay, you gotta smile. I'm not smiling until he smiles. He mugging me, I'm gonna mug him. If he gonna look mean, I'm gonna look— Jay, he's a reflection of you. He's not going to smile until you smile. You got to come out of this, I'll get rich when the bank account gets rich. The bank account is calibrated to you, idiot. I'll feel slim and lean when the scale goes— the scale is calibrated to you, smart guy. I'll put my shoulders back and put my chest down and be confident when people start talking to me. They not gonna start talking to you different until you put your shoulders back, your chest down, and your chin up smart. They're waiting on you. They're calibrating to you. What's going on, Demi? How you doing? You are a leader. Put a one in the chat if you're a leader. I want to make sure I'm talking to the— I want to make sure I'm talking to the right people there. I want to make sure I'm in the right spot. Because this information to the wrong minds is is a waste of time. I got leaders in here. Okay, I got one leader in here. Let me see. I got one. Do I got any more leaders in here? What's up, Danny? Leader of the leaders. I like it. I like it. I like it. Being a leader means going first. Being a leader means going first. If you ask me who's the leader of my household, and I say me, I'm the leader of my household. That means when arguments happen in here and me and my wife aren't on the same page, leaders go first. Leaders don't say I apologize when she apologize. Leaders don't get to say I'll be a good husband when she be a good one. Leaders go first. Leaders go first. I don't get to say if I'm an entrepreneur, if I'm a business owner, I don't get to say I'll add value to you once you give me money. Leaders go first. I'm gonna add value for you. I don't even know your credit card. No, your credit card not even in my CRM. I'm gonna add value because leaders go first. I'm gonna add value and I'm gonna give you so much value that a percentage of y'all gonna say I need that one-on-one. I need to be in one of those groups. Leaders don't go I'll add value when, when they give me money. Leaders don't say I'll give, I'll give the content when the people show up. Yeah, when I get up, when I get my live with 100 people in it, then I'm gonna really have— nah, you leader is gonna sit in here with the 9 people and add value. Then the 9 gonna turn into 10. Leaders go first. So leaders don't follow their bank account, your bank account follows you. You can't look at your bank account and say, damn, I'm poor. No, I am rich. I got rich ideas, I got rich energy, I got skills. My gift makes room for me. My gift makes room. You gotta become rich, and then your bank account is gonna catch up to that becoming. You can't change when the bank account change. You gotta go first. So the way that you do that is you get clear clarity. After you get clear, you calibrate. You keep calibrating till you become confident, and then and only then we go to step four, which is confidence. Competence. Competence. Step 4 is where we start doing stuff. Step 4 is not step 1. Step 4 is not step 1. What's going on, Candace? Do you hear me? Step 4 is not step 1. Why the hell are you trying to build a website if you're unclear, uncalibrated, and unconfident? I'm on your website. I don't know if you do taxes. I don't know if you're a financial advisor. I don't know if you're a bookkeeper. I don't know if you sell it. I'm confused, and confused people don't put out their credit cards. Get clear, get calibrated, get confident, then build the website. Why are you at a networking event if you unclear, uncalibrated? Coach Jay, I tried networking, man. It doesn't work. Nothing works when you're unclear, uncalibrated, and unconfident. Why do I want to do business with somebody who's unclear, uncalibrated, and Uncertain, unconfident. Culture J, the dating scene is a mess. All of these men out here—of course it's a mess. You're unclear, uncalibrated, and unconfident. What do you want? Say, "I want a man." This da da da da da da da da da da da da da. This—are you calibrated to it? Jay, it ain't no good me. Okay, well, there's no point in you going out there trying to find something that you're not calibrated to and you're not confident in. You out here with beliefs that what you want doesn't exist, looking for it. How? Crazy can you be? You're out here looking for something that you're subconsciously telling yourself doesn't exist. What you think your reticular activation system is going to do with that? It's going to do what it does. It's going to generalize, distort, and delete. The person that is the type of person you're looking for, your friend gonna say, what about James, girl? He's nice. He makes good money. He look good. He's, he's a good man. Oh, James is like a brother. James is not your brother. But when you got a belief system that there is no good man out there, your critical faculty is going to distorted to make you right. You don't got to change the world, you got to change what you're calibrated to. You don't got to move to another city, you got to change what you're calibrated to. If you take that same belief system to another city, I don't care if it's a bigger city, it's— you still got the same belief system with you, and that belief system is going to do what belief systems does. It's going to prove itself right. So we get clear, calibrated, and confident Then we take action. Now, this part, it might frustrate you because what's gonna happen is now that you clear, calibrated, and confident, all of that stuff that you tried before, it's gonna work now. You, you learned about funnels and value ladders and marketing and closing, and you learned all of that stuff. You learned how to work with CRM and how to get leads and freebies and moving them up. You learned all this stuff, but you were doing it from an unclear, uncalibrated, unconfident Out of all the people I work with, all the entrepreneurs, all the executives, all of the athletes I work with, they never need my help with step four. I'm not there to help them with step four. I'm not in their industry. I don't do what they do for a living. I can't help them with step four. But when we get them clear, calibrated, and confident, and they go do the stuff that they already know to do, oh man, the results are different. Listen to me. You don't have a doing problem. You have a thinking problem. You have a I'm unclear, I'm uncalibrated, I'm unconfident. It's not your, it's not your doing, it's not your competence. You competent. You made in the image of a limitless creator. Which well, it was never a question of could you do it? We know you can do it, but we got to get you clear, calibrated, and confident. Without a vision, the people perish. We got to get you a vision. We got to get you to hold tight to that vision. We got to get you to crucify the old self and be born again. That's what this clarity, calibration, and confidence is about. We get you clear, we get you calibrated, we get you confident, then you go do competence. And then the 5th C is consistency. Consistency. If you run— if you spend the rest of your life running those 5 C's, ain't nothing you can't be, ain't nothing you can't do, ain't nothing you can't have. That's right. If you spend the rest of your life running these five C's, what do I want? Since I am a creator, since I can be doing have anything you desire, I want you to. Oh, I would love it for you if you can get to a place where when you encounter a problem, when you encounter a problem, you accidentally say, "Okay, what do I want?" If problems just became a trigger for you to run the 5 C's, oh, this I see this problem in my marriage. What do I want? What what what do? Well, number five is hard because it's four steps before number five. And if you don't do those four steps, if you don't got clarity, what are you going to be consistent in? If you're not calibrated, forget about consistency. If you're not confident, why would I be consistent with something I'm not confident in? If you run the first four, consistency will take care of itself. Does that make sense? If you run the first four consistently, these aren't just these aren't in a random order. These are in a very specific order for a very specific reason. You don't don't worry about number five if you ain't if you ain't got number one and number five is impossible without number one. Number five is impossible without number two. Number five is impossible without number number five is the least of your worries if you ain't got one two three and But a lot of people try to start with 4 and 5 and they skip 1, 2, and 3. Step 4 is not step 1. You're trying to be consistent in a process that you're unclear, uncalibrated, and unconfident. It's not gonna work. It's not gonna work. Not by force, not by might, but by my spirit, says the Lord. Oh, not by force, not by grind, not by wrestling the problem down to the What's up, Brown? But by my spirit, be still. Know that I am God. Close your eyes, go in here and get clear about what it is you're building. You gotta see it. You gotta see— if you can't hold it in your head, you can't hold it in your hands. If you can't imagine a version of yourself that's confident and walks into rooms with his shoulders back, chest out, how do you expect to do it out there if you can't even hold it in here? How do you expect to do it out there when you got a belief system that won't even let you hold it in here? Your belief system is too bad. That'll never happen. It doesn't happen for people like me. And here's the long— We don't gotta make you do it. We gotta get you clear about what you want, get you calibrated to what you want, keep calibrating you till we get you confident in what you want. Then you'll accidentally start doing different stuff out there. That's the 5 C's. Anybody got any questions about the 5 C's? Clarity, calibration, confidence, competence, consistency. Clarity, calibration, confidence, competence, consistency. If you could think it, you could do it. If you can't think it, go sit down. But while you're sitting down, guess what? Great time for you to start thinking on purpose. I love that. You know what I love about thinking? I can go sit on my balcony and think. I can go lay in my bed and think. I can go get in my recliner and think. I could think on an airplane. I could think on a train. I could think on a bus. I don't got to be at the gym to think. I don't got to be at church to think. I don't got to be at the therapist's office to think. I don't got to be in my office to think. I could think anywhere. I love thinking because it gives you so much impact and it takes very little physical, man. I tell my son all the time, son, you can be, you could be really good. You could be a really good thinker or a really good worker. Trust your dad on this one. You want to get good at thinking. You you you want to get good at thinking. Now, if you want to go out and do backbreaking labor, this is your life, man. Do what you want. You want to go work construction and do do your thing, man. But I'm telling you, son, if you get good at thinking, if you get good at thinking, man, you can spend your days in bed with a laptop if you want to. If you get good at thinking, you could be vacationing and having a system to still make it. You get good at thinking. It ain't nothing you can't have, son. It ain't nothing you can't solve. Ain't nothing. Get good. Please do yourself a favor. Don't do this for Dad. Do this for you. Get good at thinking. Get good at thinking on purpose. Get good at telling your thoughts what to think and telling your feelings what to feel. Son, if I had the choice between— if I had to choose between leaving you millions of dollars and leaving you with that knowing, I'm gonna pick that knowing. If you can't control your thinking, you can't control that money anyway. Start thinking on purpose, man. Start feeling on purpose, man. You are not a pinball. Stop letting life just bounce you from one topic to the next to the next. What are the 5 C's? Once again, clarity, calibration, confidence, competence, consistency. Clarity, calibration, confidence, competence, consistency. What's up, Mystique? Get clear about what you want, not what you don't want. You're welcome, Rich. Get clear about what you want, not what you don't want. If you just get clear about what you want, you're already halfway there. You gotta understand, most people don't know what they want. If you become one of the few that actually know what you want, you're not competing with that many people. What's up, Mystique? It's a lot of hypnotists in the world. There's a lot of hypnotists out there. They not my competition. Most of them don't know what they want. Most of them work with anybody, take anything. They, they don't got the clarity that I got. They don't got the clarity that I got, so they, they not my competition. I know some people who are pretty skilled, but they don't got clarity. They don't know what they want. They know what they don't. I don't want to go out of business. I don't want my calendar empty. I don't want to have to go get a full-time. Okay, cool. What do you want? Get clear about what you want. A lot of times, most of the time, in fact, people are running the 5 C's. They just running them in the wrong direction. They're clear about what they don't want. They're calibrated to what they don't want, which is causing them to be confident in what they don't want. And their competence is running through the filter of their confidence in what they don't want. And they're doing that shit consistently. They know that their boss is never going to change and their partner is never going to change. And this is just how life— they crystal clear about that and they're calibrated to that and they confident in that and they making their decisions from there. Get clear, get calibrated, get confident. Like the goals that people come into my office with, I'm gonna be honest with you. In my mind, that first set of goals you come up with, I say blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Those aren't even goals. That's a wish list for the version of you that doesn't have. Let's get you clear, calibrated, and confident. Then we'll set goals. The goals you set when you unclear, uncalibrated, and confident— I mean, and unconfident— that's not, that's not your real goal. That's what you believe is gonna— that's your life jacket from what you don't want. That's your escape plan from this job that you hate, from this relationship. Let's get you clear, calibrated, and confident. Let's get you in your parasympathetic nervous system. Then we'll talk about what you want. Because right now what you want is out of that job. Right now what you want is out of that relationship, out of those And this is just the first thing that popped in your head as how I can— you don't want to do DoorDash, you don't want to do Uber Eats, but from that unclear, uncalibrated state, that's the idea that jumped into you. That ain't what you want. That's just what you believe is going to get you away from this thing that you don't want. Let's get you clear, calibrated, and confident, then we'll talk about what you want. What's up, Cafe? Does that make sense? Thank you for getting your daily heart, Me Cafe. Speaking of sell out every week, I have to go and reset the tickets because they gonna show sold out right now. But yeah, let me know if y'all got any questions about any of this stuff. I love that. Clear, calibrated, and confident. Yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and do that. That's the success strategy. So I came up with the 5 C's because I got jealous of my clients. I'm gonna be honest with you. I went through a period where I started getting jealous. I was in the military. I was going through a divorce. And I got all of this information. I got all of this knowledge. And I'm helping these people do really amazing things. I had people on my schedule who, when they started working with me, they were 6-figure earners. And within 6, 7 months of working with me, they're now 7-figure earners. So I'm looking at the results that I'm helping these other people get, and I'm going, damn, my life isn't bad, but my results aren't reflecting what I'm helping other people create in their lives. And I, I didn't like that. So what I did is I started putting myself on my schedule every Wednesday at 9 AM. That was my time to work on me. And I started working on me the same way that I was working on my clients. But I ran into a problem. I didn't know how to turn my process inward. I knew how to turn, but I couldn't run my process on me. So what I did is I started recording my sessions. I started recording every session with every client, and I started playing the sessions back, and I started reverse engineering what I was doing to those people. And what I realized is I had these five well used to be the four C's, and as I dug deeper into it, it became the five C's because I was like, hold on, you don't just get clear and then become. confident. There's a phase in between it, and that's what became calibration. That there's— and that's the transition from installing your clarity into your subconscious mind. But I started reverse engineering that process, and I went, hold on, okay. So whenever I'm working with somebody, I don't care what they come— I don't care if they want to quit smoking, lose weight, quit biting their nails, be more confident. My first question was always, what do you want? And I would get rude. I don't know, that's not what I asked you. What do you want? Every time they would try to tell me what they didn't want, I would interrupt Every time they would tell me why they want— that's not what I asked you. What do you want? So I started saying, okay, shit, what do I want, man? I don't want to work. I want to play. I want to get paid to do things that I would do for free. I want to get paid to do things that I would do for free. I, I love hypnosis. I love NLP, psychology, human behavior, self-development. I love working with entrepreneurs. I love working with athletes. They're coachable. I like. I don't like therapy. I like. I like working with coachable people. I like working with people who are ready to change. They're just not sure what to do, and if you drop the play, they gonna run. Can anyone be hypnotized? Yes. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Let me look at these comments. Hold on. Five C's helped me leave my corporate job and focus on my healthcare business. Business booming. Hey, now Cafe, you gotta write us a review. We need. I need that on the Google page. I need that on the Google page so other people can know know what's going on over here. Anybody could be hypnotized. But yeah, I started running through this process of how I was helping them transform, and then I started running that process on me, and that's how I created everything that's going on now. I need to really consider this to get over my self-talk. So it ain't even about getting over the self-talk, it's about designing your new self-talk and getting so wrapped up in it that you forget to remember and remember to forget about the old self-talk. I tell people all the time, I don't hypnotize you to stop doing stuff. I hypnotize you to start doing stuff. You get so busy doing this new stuff that you forget about the old stuff. The way that you accidentally run in that old self-talk, I want you accidentally running this new self-talk. I don't want— anytime you try to stop doing something, you run into what we call the law of reverse action. Law of reverse action says the harder you try, the harder you fail. You ever tried to fall asleep? Good luck. You don't fall asleep; you relax into sleep. The quickest way to fall asleep is to pretend to be sleep. Pretend like you already sleep. Watch how quickly your nervous system carries it out for you. Okay? So, like your subconscious mind doesn't negate information. If I say Nicole, don't think about a pink elephant. First thing you're gonna think about is a pink elephant. If you're in a relationship with somebody and he said, "Hey baby, don't get mad." Your nervous system gonna go, I'm not— what are you about to say? Why am I not getting mad? You don't know how to not get mad. You don't know how to stop thinking that. What do you want to think? What do you want to believe? What do you want to expect? What do you want to focus on? Okay, 1, 2, 3, deep sleep. Let's get you busy thinking that. Let's get you hypnotized by that. Let's get you under the influence of that, right? Think about it. When you dealing with anxiety and stress and overwhelm, you not Trying to think those thoughts, you're literally in hypnosis. You want to stop thinking them, but you don't know how to stop thinking them. You in a trance. We gonna one two three wide awake snap out of that trance and put you in this trance. We ain't gotta unpack it. We ain't gotta understand how you got there and who fault it is. And we ain't gotta do that none of that. What do you want? Okay, let's create that. And we get busy creating that. What's going on, Rasha? How you doing? We're gonna get so busy creating that that you don't get it. If you could think it, you could do it. If you can't, guess what? Time for you purpose. Every problem is a thinking, thinking problem. If you could think it, you could do it. If you can feel it, you'll do it on accident. Think about it. When you feel pissed off, you don't got to try to stomp your feet, slam the door, raise your voice, and curse people out. You'll accidentally behave that way. Because of how you feel. Let's get you feeling successful. If I get you feeling successful, you accidentally put your shoulders back, you accidentally put your chest out, put your chin up and start walking in the rooms. You'll accidentally start walking different and shaking hands different if we get you feeling successful. Most people, they want to read books about posture and power poses. Bro, knock it off. What's the recipe? What's the recipe to that end result? Let's make it. I don't gotta manifest the cake if I got the ingredients. Manifest the cake if I got the, I got the ingredients for the cake in the damn kitchen. You in there doing affirmation. The ingredients is in the fucking what you trying to man? Go man. Go and take your ass in the kitchen and manifest the cake. Put the shit in the bowl. Like people here manifesting, they think that mean make it appear out of thin air. No, it's gonna come through thoughts. It's gonna come through feelings and sensations and ideas and new relationships and momentum. What you got to do is just start riding the damn wave. It's gonna happen through you, not for you. It's gonna happen through you, but you got to get in sync with it. You got to stop being busy not having. A lot of times people so busy not having that they can't have. They so busy wrapped— they so wrapped up in the story of not having that they sitting next to an opportunity and can't freaking notice it. Sitting next to a person who could change their life, and they so distracted by what they don't want that they can't make the most of what's going on right before, right beside them. Every problem has an equal opposite called a solution. Everything has two sides. You've never saw a one-sided sheet of paper. You never saw a one-sided coin. You never saw a one-sided slice of bread, and you've never saw a one-sided situation. Every situation has two sides: a problem and a solution. As above, so below. Yin yang. It's gonna be done on earth as it is in heaven. The outside mirrors the inside. Everything has two sides. What are you gonna focus on? It's the best of times. It's the worst of times. What are you going to? What are you gonna calibrate to? Are you gonna calibrate to your not having, or are you gonna calibrate to your having? You gotta understand that not wanting to be sick is not the same thing as having a burning desire to be healthy. Not wanting to go out of business is not the same thing as wanting to have a thriving business. It's making money as you sleep. Not wanting to be fat is not the same thing as wanting to have a lean, energized body. Not wanting to be divorced is not the same thing as wanting to have a love-filled, exciting marriage. I don't care what you don't want. What do you want? What do you want? Where attention goes, energy flows. And I meet people all the time, they so busy not having that they can't have. The Bible say that the rich will get richer and the poor will lose the little that they have. The rich gonna keep getting rich, you know why? Because of their clarity and their calibration and their confidence. The poor gonna keep being poor and lose the little bit that they got, you know why? Because of what they're clear in, what they're calibrated to, and what they're confident in. That makes sense. What do you want? You need to start thinking about. I used to be in the military. I hated being in the military. Couldn't grow my beard. Couldn't wear my nose ring. Couldn't braid my hair. Couldn't be myself. I would make content, put it online. Commander said you got to take that down. That's how they even say no. No, you can't say the commander doesn't like it. Take it down. Couldn't post where I want to post. Couldn't live out. Hated it. And for a long time, I would find other people who hated being in the military. I found other people who got it and who understood, and we would talk about how much we hated being in. The whole while we was talking about how much we hated being in the military, guess what we kept doing? Going on deployments, going on TDYs, extending, re-enlisting. We kept being in the military. One of the best things I ever did was say, well, shit, what do I want? What do I want? Um, I don't want to work. I want to play. I want to play. I want to grow my beard. I want to wear my nose ring. I want to braid my hair. I want to do what I want to do when I want to do it. I want to wear what I want to wear. I want to dress how I want to dress. If I want to keep a robe on all goddamn day, that's what I want to do. I started thinking about what I wanted, and as I started thinking about what I wanted, I accidentally started reading different books. As I started thinking about what I wanted, I accidentally started listening to different podcasts and watching different stuff on YouTube. As I started thinking about what I wanted, I accidentally met some people who could help me. As I started thinking about what I wanted, I said, hold on, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. I'm in the military. I could go to school for free. This thing that I don't like will actually pay for me to do this thing that I want. The problem became a part of my solution when I started focusing on what I want. But for a long time, I was so distracted by what I didn't want that what I wanted was invisible. It wasn't that it wasn't there. My awareness wasn't going to it. You got something called the reticular activation system, or RAS, and it controls what's in your awareness. Let's say I'm in the store with my daughter and we get separated and I'm looking for my daughter. Subconscious, I'm gonna say, hey subconscious mind, we're looking for Riley. Little brown girl, yellow sundress, jelly bean sandals, big-ass puffball. My subconscious mind gonna say okay. It's gonna start scanning the perimeter. It's gonna look for little brown girls wearing yellow sundresses with big puffballs and jelly bean sandals. It might be a guy in that store that's 9 feet tall. Any other time I would say, damn, he tall. But when I'm looking for a little brown girl with a yellow sundress and a big puff ball and jelly bean sandals, guess what? 9-foot-tall guy just became invisible. He's 9 feet tall, but he's invisible because I'm not looking for tall guys. I'm looking for little brown girls in sundresses wearing jelly bean sandals. Hopefully nobody like take that snippet and just take that little, that little part. Oh well, y'all was here. Y'all saw it in context. Somebody over snipped that out and just make it like that was the whole video. Y'all got to help me defend myself. I'm just playing. But does that make sense? Never really thought about that. Always doing for others for sure. So you got to get crystal clear about what you want. You got to get crystal clear about what you want. And that's not just you, Nicole. That's most people. When I say most people, I'm talking about 98% of people. They can tell you vividly what they don't want. They got stories, they got evidence, they got jokes that they baked in. It's like you could— you can tell, oh, that's not your first time telling that story. You told this story thousands of times. So Jay and my dad, that's another story. We're not even going to get into that. My mom says he's this. You get them talking about what they don't want, boy, they could take you back. And I'm and I'm an Aries, so I'm air sign. And then it is this and that it is. So you know that I'm like cool. Hey hey hey hey hey. So this new story that we're about to to program, let's let's let's write it real quick. Everybody want to get to the affirmations and get to the hypnosis and the vision boards, and but you skipping the first step. You doing affirmations and you don't know what you want. You know what you don't want. So let me do my affirmations so I can get this money that I don't have. Let me do my affirmation so I can get this relationship that I don't have. You're still sitting in the not having. What do you want? What do you want? All over, Donnie. Everywhere. Everywhere. Everywhere. Everywhere. It's the best of times. It's the worst of times. What are you gonna focus on? Focus was different as I got older. Skewed. I definitely got to get clear. For sure, for sure, for sure. If you can think it, you can do it. If you can't think it, go sit down. You can't do it. But the good news is you can think anything you want to think. But in order to think this, you got to stop thinking that. You got to put that down so you can pick this up. If you've been being poor, if you want to be rich, first you got to stop being poor. If you've been being unhealthy and you want to be healthy, guess what? In order to start being healthy, you got to stop being unhealthy. If you've been being miserable and you want to be— I want to enjoy life, I want to be happy— okay, well, first you got to stop being miserable. You, you can't serve two masters. You're gonna be unstable in all your ways, and it's gonna irritate the crap out of. Okay, I understand that you wanna— that you wanna be rich. First you gotta stop being poor. Well, Jay, in this economy— okay, you— before you can be rich, you gotta put that down. That's you being poor. That story is part of you being poor. That narrative, that all of those— you gotta put all of that down. You can't put old wine in new bottles. You gotta— you gotta put that down. Well, Jay, you don't understand. I don't want to understand shit. If I'm understanding, I mean, I'm gonna have this— I don't know. I ask people all the time, did you come? Did you come to hypnotize me, or did you come for me to hypnotize you? Well, Jay, I just feel like you need to know my. I don't want to know your backstory. Your back. You know your backstory, and that's why you keep getting one two three wide awake. You're literally in a trance, and you're defending this thing that you say you don't want. You're justifying this situation that you say you don't want. But I get it because that's not you. That's the old you. That's that old neurology. Your brain homeostasis wants you to stay the same. Your brain wasn't designed to make you successful. Your brain is designed to keep you the same. The same means alive to the brain. As far as the brain is concerned, the brain is not worried about good and bad. Your nervous system is not worried about good and bad. It's worried about familiar and unfamiliar. If struggle is familiar and not having is familiar, the subconscious mind sees that as a positive. Okay. And it's not going to put it down just because you said so. It's designed to keep you safe. Exactly, Donnie. So what we have to do is we got to get clear about what we want, and calibration is about making this thing that we want familiar to the 98%. Fight or flight. Yeah, so back in the more primitive days, fight or flight— like, fight would look like me hitting another caveman over the head with a stick. Fight would be me running toward them aggressively and fighting and You know, freeze will look like me playing dead. But in these more modern days, fight can look like a passive-aggressive email. Flight can look like scrolling on TikTok, acting like your life isn't falling apart when you know it's things you need to be doing. So a lot of times, well, Jay, I'm just, I'm just unwinding. I'm just watching. You know, I work hard. I'm just watching a little TV. No, you actually in flight. You actually in freeze. You actually out of your parasympathetic nervous system. And you're stressed. That's why you're waking up tired and you're doing things that should be regenerating you and you, you still tired because you, you're in fight or flight. Well, I'm just watching TV. I'm just— you know, you're in fight or flight. Let's get you in your parasympathetic nervous system. 1, 2, 3, wide awake. Snap out of it. That story you've been telling, that narrative you've been sitting in, those expectations that you got. 1, 2, 3, wide awake. Snap out of it. Let's go. If you could think it, you could do it. I'm gonna say it over and over again. If you could think it, you could do it. And the thing you gotta understand about that—it works in both directions. A lot of times people will think that they have an anxiety problem. What they really got is a focus problem. News flash! Hold on, where my sound effects at? I don't never use the sound effects. Let me let me what it? I know they on here. Sound effect. Give me a sec. What I want? Uh da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da. Hold on. I ain't hear nothing. Y'all heard something? Oh well, I ain't gonna waste the time of the live. But, um, guess what? You supposed to— you're supposed to feel nervous when you focus on what you don't want. You said you supposed to feel anxious when— if you focus on going out of business and your husband cheating on you and how you never have no help and things never work, guess what? Yeah, you Your nervous system focuses to what you respond. That's that's like saying, "Well, Jay, why do why am I always so anxious?" That's like asking me, "Jay, why do I laugh when I watch funny movies?" Jay, why do I get scared when I watch scary movies? Because that that's what you're focusing on. Start focusing on what you do want and watch what happens to the anxiety. Start focusing on what you would like to have and watch what happens to the anxiety. Like, yeah, that, that's how it works. If you standing at the edge of a cliff inches away from your, your death, you should probably, you should probably feel something in your body. You should probably be something in your body saying, hey, this isn't— no, you know, this isn't— be careful. Um, that's because they're sold out from last week. Let's go a second. Uh, I'm about to make them back available now. Give me just a second. Midweek transformation, and we have 5 of those available now. Save. All right, if you try now, they will work. They will work now for sure, for sure, for sure. So if you finna get one of those, that means it's gonna be 4 tickets left for this Week's workshop. Cool, cool, cool. Anybody got any questions? I'm gonna be landing here soon. Gonna be landing here soon. What y'all think about this new setup? Y'all like this? Y'all like this? It's cool. What's going on, Della? Well, a lot of y'all, it's probably y'all first time here. I see a lot of my regulars there. I don't know why I feel like TikTok don't, um, TikTok push the live better when I go live from my phone versus going live from my computer. What's up, Melissa? How you doing? Welcome to the live. I don't know why that is, but appreciate you, Steve. Your first time? Welcome to the family, Coco. Took a little adjusting. I don't know, we're gonna stick with it for a bit and see how it works. Yeah, we gonna stick with it for a bit and see do we like it. What entrepreneurs at, man? Got any entrepreneurs in here? Welcome to the family, Coco. What's up, Royal? Thanks for the follow. Thanks for the follow. Show. Yo, all right, let's see. I'm gonna do some more work with it. I know me. You want to be what you want to be, Nicole. Can I be hypnotized through the phone? I hypnotize a lot of people over Zoom. I could hypnotize you over the phone, but I like, I like to be able to see what's going I like to be able to see those eyes when they're— when that rapid eye movement start and to just see. So yeah, I do a lot of people over Zoom. What y'all working on? What y'all building? Talk to me. What you building? Not what you don't want. What are you building? What is the result you're creating? I find it, um, yeah, that connection. So looking into consulting. Okay. But my first question is, what do you want? And I want you to— I want to know subjectively, what do you want? What do you want at a feeling and emotion level? Is it nerve— is it normal to be nervous to be hypnotized? It's normal to be nervous to be hypnotized when you think hypnosis is what you see on TV. It's very normal. Like, yeah, you should— you're crazy if you're not scared of that. When you understand what hypnosis is, when you understand that hypnosis is the process of getting your attention, bypassing your critical mind, stimulating your subconscious— and if you go to a comedy show, that comedian is gonna hypnotize you. If he doesn't hypnotize you, you're gonna say he wasn't funny, I didn't laugh not one time, that was a waste of my money. If you go to see a motivational speaker, he's gonna hypnotize you. If he doesn't hypnotize you, you're gonna say, man, that was a waste of my time, that was a waste until I paid I paid $150 to go to that damn seminar and he didn't hypnotize me. You and you signed up. Welcome to the family. So your job leading up to the event, KLD, is getting crystal clear about what you want. Getting crystal clear about what you want. And I want you to do it in one area of your life because we're only going to be together for 2 nights for about 2 hours each night. So I don't want you saying, Jay, I want to work on my marriage. I want to work on my fitness. I want to work on my health and I want to work on my business. Business. Pick one. Because what'll happen is you try to hit all 4 of those things, and also your business gonna get this much better, your marriage gonna get this much better. And that's like— but if we put all of that focus into one area, oh man, you're gonna see a big change in that one area. I want to have freedom of time and money and not feel like— okay, I want to have freedom of time and money, period. Because you, you doing what I call seesawing. I want this, and this is why I want it, because all this stuff that I don't have, and I want this, and No, we're not gonna seesaw. I want to have freedom of time and money. I want choice. I want to do what I want to do when I want to do it. I want to feel secure. I want to have time to think and ease into not— I want this and this is what I want. I want— no, we got to get the momentum going in the direction of what you want. People say, like, Jay, every time I take a step forward, life knocks me right back. I know. I can tell by your language. It's following you. Is it that— that I love language because language tells so much about what's going on in here. That's one of the things that a good hypnotist is always doing, listening to what you're saying, how you say it, and being real conscious of, okay, why are you— okay, I'm noticing the pat— the same patterns that you describing in your life. I hear it in your language and how you, how you communicate. I desire freedom of time and money. So I see everybody talking about money and time. Everybody could be hypnotized, Delilah. Every— everybody doesn't get hypnotized the same, but everybody has a way of you getting their attention, bypassing their critical mind, stimulating their subconscious. I don't care if they're on the spectrum. I don't care if they ADD, ADHD. I don't care. If you can watch a comedian and laugh, you could be hypnotized. If you can get offended by something somebody said, you could be hypnotized. Every time you stop at a stop sign, you just responded to a post-hypnotic suggestion. Every time somebody sneezes and you say bless you, you just responded to a post-hypnotic suggestion. If you brown like me, at some point somebody probably sat you down— a mom, an uncle, a father— somebody probably sat you down and say, hey, if one of those white kids at that school call you the N-word, you better punch him in his face. He don't get to say that to you. He didn't. And if you go to— if you 20 years old, 25, 30 years old, white boy at the job call you the N-word, you punch him in the face. You just responded to a post-hypnotic suggestion. That's no different than every time I ring this bell, you're gonna quack like a duck. Every time somebody says this word to you, you're gonna get angry and you're gonna lash out at them. That's, that's hypnosis. That's hypnosis. So the only difference I'm saying, every time you walk through a doorway, you're gonna accidentally roll your shoulders back, put your chest out, and put your chin up because you confident. And you walk in rooms as if God himself sent you in there. Nod your head if you understand. Understand. Then the same way you don't got to use willpower to get angry if somebody calls you that word, you gonna find yourself accidentally walking through a door and your shoulder's gonna go back, your chest gonna go out, and your chin gonna go up because that— you gonna respond to that post-hypnotic suggestion the same way you responded to all of the other post-hypnotic suggestions in your life. That's a virtual workshop, KLD. If you in Dallas and you want to work with me in person, you can, but that That workshop is virtual because people from all over come to that. Now everybody's talking about, I want the money, I want the time freedom, I want this. Remember, some of y'all weren't in here when we talked about the 7 keys. Remember, your job is to say, what would I believe if I already have it? What would my perception be if I already had it? What would my focus be if I already had it? How would I respond if I already had it? And your job is to start believing that way. Forget about the result. What would I believe if I already had time freedom? I believe, man, there's so much time, so many hours in a day. I easily get to everything that I got on my schedule, man. I have time to rest. I have time to recharge. I would believe that if I already— okay, I'm going to start practicing that belief. What would my perception— your perception right now is it's just not enough hours in the day. You got the kids and I gotta keep the house clean. I gotta— okay, that's the perception of this version of you. What's the perception? Yeah, my wife is so fucking attractive. I'm trying, I'm trying my best to stay in here with y'all and not end the live and go over there. I'm leaving out of here soon, so if you got questions, comments, concerns, you better, you better get them out of here. It's not about making the thing happen. It's about what what needs to be going on in here that makes their result inevitable. Does that make sense? If if you say, "Hey Coach Jay, can you um can you hypnotize me to freeze this water?" Yeah, I'm gonna hypnotize you to go put the water in the freezer. I'm not gonna say, "Oh yeah, hold the bottle, focus on the bottle, feel the bottle getting colder now." That's it. The bot No, I'm not gonna hypnotize. I'm not gonna make the water freeze. I'm gonna make you go put the water in the freezer. Jay, can you hypnotize me to be rich? Yes, I'll hypnotize you to think like rich people think, to feel like rich people feel, to expect like rich people expect. As you sit in that thinking and those feelings and those expectations, you're gonna get some ideas. And I'm gonna hypnotize you to go after those ideas with vigor and after those ideas with energy. And your bank account is going to respond to that. I'm not gonna just make money show up in your account. I'm gonna change the way you walk, I'm gonna change the way you talk, I'm gonna change the way you think, I'm gonna change the way you feel, I'm gonna change the way you act, and your bank account is gonna respond to this new version of you. Does that make sense? Does that make sense? All right, cool, cool, cool. All right. Haven't already, and when I'm on live on my computer, or if they do, I just. Oh yeah, I don't know what happened. Testing, testing, 1, 2, 3. Y'all hear me now? Yes or no? Yep. Okay, cool. All right, y'all, I'm about to land. Love y'all. I will see y'all later. Love you too.
