Five speakers from the Chicago tech community explain why the Sales Assembly Summit 2018 mattered. They praise the one-day format for bringing sales, marketing, and customer success teams together, delivering actionable insights, and creating a space for sales leaders to network and share best practices.
Sales assembly is serving an unmet need in the Chicago community.
It's focused, it's all about sales, marketing, customer success, alignment. And so for myself and my team, it's a great spot for us to go and learn.
The format has been great in the sense that it's been able to bridge the gap between sales and marketing and really allowed us to be able to network with each other and share best practices.
One of the things that's really easy to do as a sales leader is to become really insular and get very caught up in the day to day. What Sales assembly is doing is pulling us all together, saying, how can we make each other's lives easier and our companies better?
I love the idea of one day you're in, you're out, and you get all the content that you need and you're back to work. Most conferences and events, you maybe take one or two things out of the whole day. I find myself taking one or two things, things out of every session.
Sales assembly has created a forum where if I want to get in touch with a sales leader from another company, either to bounce an idea off of them or get in touch with them for a potential sales opportunity, this has really created an environment that allows us to do that.
Sales assembly is a fantastic mechanism for pulling the best and brightest minds of Chicago tech into one place to learn from each other and to kind of perpetuate a community of sharing in Chicago.
