When you feel the gratitude, then you really experience it. And when you experience it, man, does it shape your worldview and what you think is going on.
So I don't know about you, but we all have some days where you just don't feel that great. And I lean back to my buddy Shawn Achor. Maybe you saw him at one of my success summits. Maybe you read this book. And every time I find myself slightly in a funk, I just go back to two things he taught me, which is number one, and to experience gratitude. Not just say it out loud. Not, you know, I'm really. But like, to really think about how much I love my wife, how much I appreciate Hector standing right here with a camera in his hands for a long period of time. Like, how much. And you feel that gratitude. And when you feel the gratitude, then you really experience it. And when you experience it, man, does it shape your worldview and what you think is going on. The second thing, though, and it's one that I just love, is you send somebody you care about or you're thinking about a very specific recognition. Thank you. Just to say, hey, Brittany, I just want you to know how much I appreciate you and the impact you're making so quickly inside this organization. You and I just like social marketing. Totally in sync. Like saying that versus just, hey, you're the best, and I appreciate you. But a very specific, very authentic moment of gratitude for them doing those two things. Why don't you take it on for the next 30 days and just watch what happens? What I know to be true is it makes me feel better. And when I feel better, I perform better. When I perform better, more good things happen. And that's what this is all about. Happy mindset Monday.
