Why does a bully pick on other kids in school? Because something's going on at home, or something has happened to that person in their past, probably in their childhood, where they feel the need to put other people down and make fun of them. Because emotionally that makes them feel better about themselves and what they don't have. So if anybody ever makes fun of anybody has nothing to do with the person they're making fun of. It has everything to do with the person who's making fun of them, because there's something going on emotionally in that person's life. That is an extreme form of what's called ranking.
