Two people meet at an NEPQ event. Speaker B switched from solar sales to security and completed NEPQ's basic program, the black book. Speaker A stresses that a book alone is just an intro, and intensive group training and coaching are what actually builds mastery.
How's it going? Let's take a picture.
I do security. I was doing solar when I first went through a lot of your programs.
Which program are you in? You're like, 40.
Well, the. The black book.
Oh, the basic one. You starter. All right. Yeah. Are you still selling solar?
No, we're doing security industry now.
Okay. So good stuff, man.
Yeah.
Well, nice to meet you. I like the. I like the clip.
Oh, thank you.
Pretty cool.
But I didn't interrupt.
I just wanted to. You're fine. We're just hanging out, man. Nice to meet you. All right. Better be good. And I really appreciate him. I don't know his whole story, so I'm not going to judge. He was selling solar. He's like, I've been in your programs, but he was in a very basic program. It's like a book. A book is like an introduction to training. Like, tell me any profession where you can master it by reading a book. You got to go through training programs. You got to go through coaching that. He got into our group training. That's industry specific. He'd still be selling solar, probably making seven figures a year. He does have a really nice tie, though. I like that. That's cool.
