Short YouTube video ("He could have closed the deal if he did THIS…", uploaded May 16, 2025) showing a door-to-door sales interaction between Nick (window-cleaning salesperson) and Eileen (potential customer). Nick describes using deionized water to clean windows, attempts rapport, and offers a discounted price ($149) in a joking exchange; Eileen says she already paid $240 to another cleaner and had a poor experience, declining Nick's offer. The clip illustrates common sales objections and a missed close.

I'm not like selling anything you guys know. John.
I don't care what my neighbors do. You guys come up here and you sell your neighbors. What is it that you.
Oh, we're washing just the windows in the frame.
Did you know that I already had that and spent $240.
I couldn't know that because I haven't.
Ever talked to you before somebody. They came last month. I would never do it again.
I will say I help a lot of people with window cleaning. What happens is, do you see the kind of dirt running down right here? And we flush everything out with deionized water. I really like taking people who have had maybe a poor experience and making them really happy. Fine.
No, we've already invested, it's fine.
Sure, I was going to offer cuz I'm very hungry. I didn't eat lunch yet. If you could make me like a sandwich or something, I could call it 149. As long as you made me like a sandwich and then we'll make you really happy on the way.
I would make you a sandwich if I had anything to make you a sandwich. But anyway, no, I appreciate it.
Sure. We're going to do a great job for them. If you're ever in the market in the future, just let me know. Well, no worries. Have a great rest of your night. I'm Nick, what's your name?
Eileen.
Eileen, nice to meet you. Have a great.
Notice how he kept looping back around no matter what she said, he acknowledged it. And then he looped back around and asked another question. You have to do that on the doors. That was really, really good. Also how he used a playful tone. He's like, well, would you be able to make me a sandwich if I dropped you in half? That was really clever. Her guard starts to come down even though she still didn't do it and she starts to laugh. That was good. However, I would have changed a few things in the beginning that probably would have made that stuff land better at the end where he actually sold the deal. So when she said hey, what are you selling? Instead of the salesperson saying I'm not selling anything. Your prospects don't believe that. Every salesperson knocks door to door, says I'm not selling anything. So when they say that, you simply say, oh geez, I'm not as cool as all those sales people out there. Have you been having like a million of those sales people like knock on your door? What's been going on? So I'm pointing all those salespeople implying like I'M not a salesperson, but I'm not saying I'm not selling anything. That's the pattern up. And then when she's like, what is it that you're offering? Oh, gosh, I'm like the boring guy. You know, people have us come in and they, like, actually have us take care of the windows where they don't have, like. Do you see kind of this spot slots on here? Who actually did your windows? Was that somebody accompanied or who actually did that? And then I'm going to go right back into it. So I'm just interrupting the pattern, like he is. I'm just looping back around. I'm just relanguaging it a little bit.
