Short excerpt from a YouTube interview in which Speaker B asks Speaker A whether he misses his former life as a mob boss. Speaker A responds that he enjoyed that life, values the brotherhood and the men he was close to, and while he lived at a high level and was blessed, he does not miss it as much now. The exchange closes with Speaker B referencing a Tony Robbins quote.
I want to ask you this question. How much do you miss the life?
I get asked that a lot. You know, listen, I had good times in that life. I can't complain about the time that I spent in that life. I miss a lot of the guys that I was very tight with. I love the brotherhood. Feeling this brotherhood, it would meant something to me. And, you know, look, I lived at a high level. I was doing well. Do I really miss it now? Not as much. I can't complain. My life is pretty good. I've been very blessed. But I didn't hate the life. I mean, I enjoyed it.
You know, Tony Robbins says it best. Life doesn't happen to you. Life happens for you.
