Have you ever. Can I ask you something? And I've gotta. I've gotta jump into this shoot.
Is selling something that you do to people or is selling something you do for people?
So. For them?
Yeah. So if we don't have you in our training programs to train you how to sell more.
Then how could we ever help you?
Right.
Because do you ever have prospects that say that same objection to you?
Oh, yeah. Everybody's averse to fees. This is a huge commitment. I mean, it's probably not to you.
Guys, but is it a huge commitment to learn how to sell more, to help more of your prospects get what they want? Because which cost you more? The funding you put in to training to sell more or all the sales that you're losing now in reality, which cost you more?
Well, of course, you know, like, these are. These are leading questions. Like, I understand what the answer should be.
Well, is selling something I'm doing to you or for you? Feels a little like, oh, well, we don't. You don't have to sing or trade girls. Yeah. Because what happens if you don't sell more? I mean, because what's the number one thing that's attached to you as a salesperson that determines your income?
My sales techniques.
Right. So maybe something we might want to do. What?
Probably a good idea, right? Because if you don't, what happens? And I'm being real with you. Right. That's why companies and people, especially if you're in a space, come to us, because that's what they want. Because what happens if you. If you don't master. Right. Have you ever heard me say there are four types of salespeople?
Chris said yesterday.
Yeah, right. You've got the. The wingers, as I call them. They wing everything, say something different to every prospect. Then when they don't close a lot of deals, who do they blame? The leads, the prospects. Those sales people usually get fired eventually. Then you have the dabblers. You know, they buy a few books here and there. They go to a free event. They, you know, they follow me on, like, YouTube or IG, which is basic content, and they say, well, you know, eventually I'll figure it out. If I just keep in, one day, I'll get better. And where do those reps go? They're typically average, and they just keep going through the motions, playing the numbers game. That's where most salespeople are. Then you have the no dollars. Right. They invested in sales training in the past, but then they stop investing once they get up to, you know, multiple six Figures a year because they think they know everything about selling and what happens to their income. It gets capped because they stop learning. And then you have those who are committed to mastery and they know they have to put major funding into their skill level because they know that, that the number one thing that determines their income will be the skills they learn on a daily basis. That's your top 1%. I mean if you. And I'm asking you this because I'm doing this for you, where do you feel you are.
Right now?
Yeah. If you really a dabbler.
Right. Who depends on you acquiring these skills? If we stay adaptive.
Who is depending on you acquiring skills.
Right now? Hey, guys, Jeremy Miner here. Look, a lot of you leave comments wanting me to help you somewhere. So the easiest way to get a hold of me, the quickest way is to text me. So text me right now and it's 480-637-2944. So 480-637-2944. Listen, I started this company to help you learn how to close more deals. But do it the right way. Text me right now. Let's get back to the training video. Who depends on you? Me. Who else depends on you acquiring skills?
Just me.
Do you have a family?
No.
Do you have a mom or dad? Cousins, aunts, brothers, sisters?
Sure. And money doesn't buy us happiness, it just gives us more options. Right. So if you know my mom or your mom, something ever happens to her and you don't have the money. Right. To help them, that's tied directly back to what we. What didn't learn as a salesperson to sell more. So people depend on us. Right. Our prospects depend on us. Because if we don't acquire the right skills to be able to do that for them, what happens to them?
They don't do what they're supposed to do.
Yeah. Their problems stay the same and nothing ever changes. And whose responsibility is that?
A little bit of mine.
I mean a little bit. Come on now. I'm not going to call you a dabbler anymore because who would say that? What type of salesperson?
I know it all.
Yeah. So who do you want to become?
Yeah.
Who do you want to become?
Well, obviously I want to be more successful.
Whose choice is. Whose choice is that?
It's mine. It's mine.
Yeah. Because what's going to make you the most? What puts you in the position to master selling, dabbling or committed to mastery?
Yeah. How can you, how can anyone commit to mastery if they don't have a plan and Someone to show them who's already mastered it how to commit to Matthew. Mastery.
I mean, that's true, I guess, because.
If we don't commit to mastery by someone who shows us the plan and who's already done it, especially for your industry, we remain a what? A dabbler.
And how many sales does a dabbler make?
Not enough.
Yeah.
There you go. So what puts you in the best position to master the skills? Because when you master the skills, and let's say you double. Triple what you're doing right now, it forces your company to have to do what?
Pay you way more. Right?
Yeah.
Is that what you want? Yes. You sure?
That tone. I'm hearing your tone.
Yeah, but you're too good at what you do.
Do you want to learn? Do you want to learn how to do this for your prospects? Or you just want to keep dabbling?
You mean be like you, Jeremy?
Well, that's typically why salespeople come to us, because they want to learn those skills to do that. Do you want to, like, learn from somebody that's not going to help you sell more?
You're really good at changing your tonality to kind of match the. Match the vibe.
I was committed to mastery. Do you want me to train you how to master tonality?
Yes.
Because I have reps in your space that have mastered it. And guess what happened?
They were successful.
Everything you want.
So what's the step we need to do?
Take the. Take the commitment. Just do it. Help is best.
Yeah, because I'm sure. I'm sure you're not. I'm sure your intention. And I. And I'm saying this, I'm saying this with everything I have for you. I'm sure your intention is not just to, you know, keep the funding for any PQ fundamentals in your bank account forever and hope it just stays there. I'm sure your real intention is to what? Never have to worry about money again in your life. Right.
Right.
So what's going to put us on the path to do that?
Investing in myself.
Are you ready?
Yeah. I've only got five minutes left on my lunch. It's probably better if I get back on the call with Chris.
Hey, guys, we got somebody who was a dabbler who's committed to mastery. I love you. Well done. You know, I always say success is just a choice. And you chose well. Now, can you do me one last thing before I jump off?
What?
This is a promise to me. And if you promise me this, this is a promise to yourself.
When you get in the training. Will you actually take it seriously?
I have to.
Okay. And will you show up to the training calls? Because I do one every week. You're gonna want to be on because I show you how to tie it into what you sell. But you got to show up, and if you don't show up, at least watch the. The recorded versions. Every week.
Yeah.
You committed?
Yep. I've got to if I'm gonna move forward with this. I can't not do it.
Yeah, because you got your prospects depending on you learning these skills.
Yeah.
Yeah. Okay. Well done. I will see you on the training calls next week. Be good. I'm gonna turn you back over to Chris. Congratulations. Good choice.
Well, there you go. Remember, selling is not something you do to people. Selling is something you do for people. Because I have a moral obligation to help her get into the training programs. Right? You have a moral obligation to get your people into what you sell. Because if you don't. Right. As Solomon said in the Bible. Right. You have a moral obligation. Right. Who that keepeth the corn and doesn't sell it to them, the sin is on your head. Because you have a moral obligation to help people get what they want, solve their problems, and get them the results. And if you don't acquire the skills to do that, you are literally letting them down, Their families down, their prospects down, everybody down. Selling is not something you do to people. It's something you do for them. If I didn't do that for her, her sales would have stayed the same forever. Her prospects wouldn't buy. And nothing ever changes for her family, because if she doesn't learn how to close more, she doesn't get paid more by her company. So always remember, the moral obligation is to help your prospects get what they want, not do it to them. It's for them. Hope that helped.
