Okay. Welcome back. This is the first episode of the new year, first episode of 2020. Today's January 14th at the time of this recording. And I am, first of all, going to make this a short recording because I kind of want to tee up what I have in store for you. So before I do that, I want to let you know a few things I've been doing, because if you've noticed, it's been a couple months since I've actually recorded an episode. That's because I did some extensive traveling, had a lot of project in the works, and quite honestly, I got busy. You know, that happens. Hopefully you guys got busy in good ways. Mine were all good, you know, for the past. For the past 30 days, I was living. My wife and I went down to Medellin, Colombia. Have a lot of friends down there, and if you've never been, it's an absolutely magical place. Truly, truly loved it. And this was the first time we've had a chance to kind of just go anywhere for a full month and just live. Didn't bounce around any other countries or cities for vacation. Just went down there. Day we got down there, we, you know, got a gym membership, went to the grocery store, you know, work about four, four hours a day, take a long lunch. And I've got a lot of friends down there, a lot of, like, really close friends that were just really amazing. Tell you what, if you've never been to that city, you're missing out. It is magical. Weather's perfect, people are amazing, food's off the charts. Not that I'm trying to do a commercial for Medellin, but if you haven't had a chance, go. If you have had a chance, write me back, send me an email to ask bradakenratbusiness.com let me know. But I've also been helping a client who just went through a major merger and acquisition, been helping them navigate restructure their product offerings and sales process to fit into.
The new offers. That can be really a hard thing to navigate if you don't know what you're doing. Because now, especially if the core offer that you're. That you're selling is going to be changing. There's a lot of, you know, reconfiguring things that have to be done. That's not the easiest thing to do, but it can be easy when you follow some simple frameworks. So we got together, I framework this out, and we found what, you know, should be the most optimal sales process. And I've been helping them install that in their business to really create, you know, windfall. You know, in the past three years that I've been working with this client, yeah, I believe we've tripled the size of the business and it's just been doing terrifically. In addition to that, made an investment in a company called Otomo. And if you go to otomoapp.com you'll take a look and see what it is. It's a really cool financial tech app that has a tremendous amount of.
Potential here. So we're working not only as an investment, but as the, you know, to create some growth frameworks for them to really take over the, the financial app market. And I've interviewed Keller Crawford, the CEO and founder of Atomo. He's going to be on the show very soon. That's actually in editing, so I'll post that for you as well. Now, let me tell you a few things, what to expect going forward. So, first of all, as I'm doing in this solo cast right now, I'm going to be doing less interviews overall, less interviews on the show. For the past five, five and a half years that I've been doing this, it has been 99% interviews. And there's a lot of things that I want to talk about and I want to flesh out some ideas and concepts and insights for you. So less interviews, more insights. And in order to do that, I really want to hear from you and I want to hear what struggles you're having, what issues you're facing, what topics you want to learn about. I'm going to be talking a lot about some headier topics, some more business philosophy and things that go into, you know, the keys to making it all work, as opposed to just super tactical things. But I've also got a lot of tactical strategies I want to share with you. But that's all coming now. The best way to let me know what you want to hear more of or some, even some particular struggles you're having is two methods. Number one, go to askbradaconratbusiness.com actually, don't go there. Just send me an email there and let me know kind of what's on your mind. Number two is to go to the homepage and down, if you go down to the bottom, baconratbusiness.com, you'll see, leave a voicemail and you can send me a message. It's a quick little audio message and if it's a good message, I'll go ahead and play it on the air. But I really do want to hear from you. I think this will help drive a new season of the show forward, and once more, I love my listeners. That's you I'm talking to. I also, last but not least, have been working on another idea for a secondary podcast that has very little to do with business. But the working title is the Chain Reaction, and if you want to hear more about that, shoot me an email as well and I'll talk about it or bring it up on the next episode. Because I'm right now going through my dreamstorming process, which I use for planning out any project to see what needs to happen and any of the obstacles. But I'm pretty excited to potentially bring another podcast to life, so that is all I have for this episode. If you're not already subscribed, please do so. It's about to get really interesting here, and once more, please shoot me an email to ask bradakenratbusiness.com if nothing else, just let me know that you like what I'm doing and that you're listening to the show. So much love to you. Happy New Year and look forward to the next episizzle.
