Start with cold calling or door-to-door sales. The pressure forces you to think fast and handle objections on the fly. Once you master that mental speed, everything else—Zoom calls, meetings—feels slower and easier.

If you're brand new in sales, the two places I would start would be either cold calling on the phone or door-to-door. It's because when you start off door-to-door cold calling, that prospect answers the phone, opens the door, you're a complete stranger. A lot is going on in their mind. You have to react quick based on what they say. You have to learn how to reframe quick, and you have to learn how to get their guard down like immediately. If you learn how to do that, which you can, once you get into higher level sales positions where you have a book call on Zoom or you meet them in person, everything slows down for you. It's like The Matrix. You can see the bullet, because you know how to react very quickly because you sold on the door, you sold cold on the phone. And because of that, you know how to react quicker. And now it's going to be a lot easier for you.
