A salesman explains why he eats at his desk instead of taking long lunch breaks. He gains an extra hour of work time daily while colleagues socialize in the kitchen, giving him a competitive edge on income-producing calls.

Hey, you want to go to lunch? I'd be like, no, thank you. Because I know that they would be gone for an hour, an hour and a half. I don't need an hour and a half to eat. I would sit down in my office, eat for 10 or 15 minutes, and then I'm back on the phones back in the day. So right there, I got an hour, hour and a half over anybody else in the office. A lot of them would go into the kitchens there and sit around and complain and eat snacks. Well, I don't want to hang around with losers. Like if I was in the office 8 hours a day, all I'm doing is income-producing activities. Like quite literally, all I did was sales.
