Short YouTube monologue (June 26, 2025) criticizing sales trainers who rely on motivational hype and personal-development rhetoric instead of teaching concrete, tactical sales skills (what to say, what to ask, tone, objection handling). The speaker prefers practical, modern techniques over outdated methods.

But I'd say the one thing that drives me up the wall is sales trainers thinking that by going in and, like, pumping people up and jumping up and down and hyping them up is somehow sales training. Like, they're so focused on personal development, which I love personal development. I believe it is an inner game. But the problem is, is, like, you know, when I had my corporate career and they'd bring in sales trainers like that, we'd sit there like, well, we already know how to set goals. We're kind of already motivated. That's why we're here. Like, we just want to know what to say. We want to know what to ask. We want to know how to use your tone. Salespeople, like, want skills because tactical skills are what gives them confidence. Because when they have tactical skills, they know the right words, they know the right questions, they know when to ask them. They know how to prevent objections. They know how to overcome objections. That gives them confidence. So sales trainers drive me crazy that don't really teach, or they teach something from, like, 1983 and think it's going to work in 2025. It's insane.
