Speaker A and Speaker B run through rapid either/or questions about sales and learning. Speaker B picks door-to-door over cold calling to read body language, training videos over books for repeated exposure, and trust over being liked because trust drives purchases.
Cold calling or door-to-door?
Door-to-door for sure, because you read their body language, you're in person, and you can hear their tone. On the phone, you can only read tonality.
Books or training videos for learning?
Uh, training videos for sure, because you can go to them over and over again and you hear the tonality, so your brain remembers it far more than just reading words.
Talent or work ethic?
Oh, that's a hard one. I'm gonna go slightly talent, because I'm assuming you're going to work at least 40 hours a week, so I'm going to go talent a little bit.
Commission or salary-based?
Easy, commission, 100%. Always make more money commission only, for sure. Selling over the phone or selling face Face-to-face because you can see them, read their facial cues, body language, and read their tone. Over the phone, you can only read tonality.
Sales or marketing?
Of course sales because I could even pick up the phone and cold call. I don't even need marketing if I'm cold calling.
Online training courses or live events?
Online training courses all day because you can go over them over and over again, your brain will remember that. Live event, you're going to lose most of that within like a couple of days.
Being liked or being trusted?
Easy, being trusted. People don't buy things from people they like, they buy things from people they trust to get them the best result. Trusted for sure.
Sales script for natural conversation?
Ew, it has to be both because you have to have a natural conversation, but you gotta memorize some things that you wanna ask and say, but it has to sound natural. That's a 50/50 thing.
