In this Everyday AI video, host Jay demonstrates Hiring Cafe, an AI‑agent‑powered job search platform. He begins with a brief introduction and shout‑out, then uses the site’s voice‑prompt box to specify a search for AI training and deployed engineering roles, mentioning his four‑year experience and notable clients. The platform defaults to a UK location but allows remote work, and Jay notes the ability to upload a CV for more personalized results. He walks through the sidebar features—Search, Saved, Tracker, Network—and shows how the agent explains its reasoning. The demo returns thousands of job listings across over a thousand companies, highlighting matches such as SnapLogic, NTT DATA, and Anthropic, and displays salary information (e.g., $160K/year for a deployed engineer). Jay clicks through a job to illustrate the application flow, marks jobs as applied, and comments on the simplicity of the workflow. Mid‑video he promotes his own 7‑day prompting ebook, “Perfecting Prompts,” linking it in the description. Overall, the video serves as a product walkthrough, showcasing how AI can streamline modern job hunting.

Hiring Cafe is a website that allows you to search for jobs in a very unique and interesting way, certainly tailored to the current world of work. If this is your first time here, my name is Jay and this is the Everyday AI channel where we teach you how you can use AI in your daily life. So I want to say a quick shout out to Patsy for putting me on to this. Looks pretty cool. It reminds me a bit of Jack and Jill, however, with a slightly different interface. So what I'm going to do here is I'm just going to navigate and see What opportunities we've got here. So I can see we've got some hybrid roles, full-time roles, onsite roles, quite a wide variety of different kind of jobs. So what I'm going to do is I'm actually just going to speak to this prompt box and I'm going to tell it the kind of jobs I'm looking for. I'm looking for jobs centered around AI training and full deployed engineering where I can go into a company or corporation and explain to them how they can use AI to improve their workflows to save them time, effort, attention, And money. I've been doing this for a total of about four years now, and have worked with a wide variety of clients such as the World Bank, Deloitte, Disney, Bloomberg Media, and J.C. Decaux. Cool. Let's just make sure this is all spelled correctly. And yeah, we'll run this prompt. I think later I will upload my CV as well, just so it can give me more tailored outputs and responses. So you can see here the agent is building and running my search plan. Okay, which is pretty cool. I'm gonna take a look at this. Since you didn't name a location, I used the UK as your default. Okay, cool. I will say yes, it can be in the UK, but I'm very much open to remote work as well. Cool. We'll run that as a follow-up prompt. You can see here it's mostly got it right. So we've got AI training and deployed engineering. Cool. And now I'm going to run that. So we'll see exactly what we get here. I'm actually pleased to announce I've launched one of my first digital products, which is a 7-day prompting ebook. I've called it Perfecting Prompts, and it's essentially a 7-day crash course on how you can improve your prompting so that you can supercharge your productivity. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to leave the link to Perfecting Prompts below. I put in a lot of work into it, and in there I actually include some frameworks that I teach to global corporations. Definitely check it out. If you take a look on the left-hand sidebar here, we've got search, saved, tracker, and network, which is pretty cool. You can take a look and see what the agent is thinking. Sweet. And now we've got much more tailored sort of jobs here. So we've got 2K jobs. That's a lot of jobs. And 1,100 companies. We've got a whole bunch of matches that I can actually go through, start taking a look. So we've got SnapLogic, NTT DATA. Interesting stuff. Cool. And yeah, we can see how much they're paying as well. So $160K per year for a deployed engineer. Very cool. So I'm keen to know, let's say I go for this job with good old Anthropic. Let's see what we've got. So 4 years in technical customer service, customer-facing roles, production LLM experience, Python programming, all that kind of good stuff. Cool. And if I wanted to apply, You can just click on that and it takes me of course to the specific page where I can apply for the job. Cool. I'm quite impressed with Hiring Cafe. I like the workflow so far. It's very simple. If you have marked a job as, or if you have applied to a job, you can simply mark it as applied and then you can carry on navigating. So yeah, really cool, really cool platform. I think, yeah, it's a good way to search for jobs and actually apply for them in this new era of AI and agentic usage. So definitely check it out if you think it would be useful for you.
