Pursuing Great Customer Growth is pursuing the wellbeing of your customer

A business grows by pursuing customer wellbeing, not just transactions. Instead of counting customers like seeds in an apple, ask what problems you could solve for each one. That's where the real growth lives.

, and I gave him this particular quote, which I'll share with everybody else. And it starts with a biblical quote and, well, more of an anecdote for something else. And the quote goes like this. It says, Anybody can count the number of seeds in an apple, but only God can see how many apples are inside a single seed. And equally for our customers as well, anybody can count the number of customers and look at those things, but it takes a very astute person to recognize how many particular potential areas of fruits and things that we could develop in a single customer. And I think what tends to be the case is that we will look at just the customer from a very, from one lens rather than look deeper underneath and begin to ask different kinds of questions, which is with a question such as, How many problems could we solve for this customer if we resolve within ourselves that we don't have to be the ones to solve it? And so the moment you begin to pursue the well-being of your client, you begin to see how many apples could actually come from a single seed, which is where you begin to plot and move that forward. So that's where I'll leave that with everybody to muse on as part of a reflection.
