Divine King, Man of Wealth 9 4 2023

This is a transcript of a September 4, 2023 mentorship session (YouTube) led by Jerremy Newsome focused on the "wealth" portion of a men’s mentorship program. The meeting mixes practical business coaching (collections, pricing, offers, content creation, accountability) with mindset work (money-worthiness, spiritual healing, a guided higher-self meditation). A prominent case is Trent—struggling with unpaid invoices, self-worth and inconsistent execution—who is given a concrete seven-task action plan and daily accountability. The group also discusses crafting compelling offers backed by evidence, relationship-based selling, and using meditation to receive guidance.

Beautiful Labor Day. Markets are closed. It's the fourth. I hope you all have some awesome plans this weekend with your family. What are you doing today, Fritz?
Not much at all. Just hanging around the house with the kids. Might go do a hike, getting running. Just nice and slow.
Good, man. Cool, cool, cool, cool. Taking it easy. I like it. Getting some relaxing in. What about you, Michael? Anything with a family over there today in Hawaii?
There might be some events going on and opposed. So kids are interested, go to those. But I would like to stay away from the traffic, you know?
Sure. Yep. Yeah, totally, man. There probably will be a decent amount. I'm sure there will be a decent amount. All right. Well, team, you know what's cool is today is our wealth portion of our mentorship program where we can talk money, business, investing, trading, taxes, real estate. Any questions that you have at all about becoming more wealthy monetarily. All week we talk about becoming wealthier with our relationships and our internal compositions and our creations around us. But now we're here to talk about the money game. So I'm gonna start with Trent. Trent, what questions do you have for me, man, if any, about what you're doing from here and how you're going to do better and what you want to do? Any question at all about anything specifically?
Man, I don't even know where to start. Just trying. Been doing a lot of stuff we're talking about and, you know, asking for it, going for bigger stuff and just not getting. I know it's, you know, not enough time has passed with it all, but, you know, just not much results and getting a little frustrated, get a little defeated. I don't know, man. Just trying to keep the faith. And it's. It's getting a little tricky and thinking about just other kind of. Just some of the stuff we talked about, you know, first week, like all other options and just trying to get past some of these blocks with money, man. Like, life is good outside of money stuff and like chasing people for money that owe me money and, you know, just some other stuff. It's just a little. Little frustrated these days.
When you say chasing people owe you money, what does that mean?
Just invoices that are outstanding and, you know, getting people back in the studio for stuff they're, you know, supposed to do. Well, mean, they've even like. Like contractually are obligated for it and haven't come through and just. Just some stuff, man. You know, just it. It's. I don't know, just a little. Just a little frustrated with the way things are going. But I mean, a lot of it's just stuff that's like kind of compounded over the years that I haven't done right. So it's kind of just probably some leveling out stuff that I just gotta, you know, stack up a little and go get it done type stuff. But you know, it's, it's not bad. It's just like frustrating, you know, and first of the month's always, you know, getting everybody paid, getting. Getting everything squared away to go do it again. And yeah, it's just, it's just a little tight as always. But yeah, it. Yeah, yep.
It's always hard when you own a business. There's. There's definitely a big challenge with that for sure. When you, when you say money blocks, what do you think your money blocks are related to? If you had to, if you had to guess?
Just self worth stuff. I really don't have some false ownership, some false guilt, some false, false shame. Just stuff that I've really been trying to work on and you know, I've through that. I mean, like some of the, like doing that spiritual inner healing thing felt on top of the world was ready to take on, just ready to do whatever. And just a lot of the same stuff that kind of came out from that is still, still kind of just lingering to say the least. So. I don't know, man, just. Just hate sounding down and out, man. It's just kind of, kind of tough sometimes, but. And it's again like I'm super blessed and my problems are not bad at all, you know, Like I'm, I'm fine. Like money's gonna, like, money's there and you know, know, it's just some of the extra stuff I'm really trying to get done and trying to build out some new stuff with my, like the studio space I'm leasing and. Yeah, man, just. I hate even. I even. I hate saying this stuff out loud sometimes because it's, it's not major at all. It's just a matter of, you know, doing the work and getting done. So I, I really don't have a question. I'm just kind of venting, I guess. But. All right, it's.
Yeah, yeah, it's all good, man. But I mean, let's go back to that. The healing experience that you had and you, you said that you felt on top of the world. What did you do after that?
What do you mean? Like what, right after this?
Well, not, you know, but like, let's say the next two, three weeks. Like what massive Actions did you take?
I mean, it's kind of getting more. I mean some of the stuff that was said through that was basically like I need to start steering the ship more and expecting. Expecting. Expecting the.
Yes.
Well, not expecting the s. Just expecting, you know, things to take place and like kind of taking again, just taking ownership and being like, hey, this is how we're going to do it. You know, Know, like we're, we're in a position to do X, Y and Z. We need to do X, Y and Z. It's going to cost this amount of money. Cut the check type thing and you know, have been doing that and it's just. Everything's been going great except for the cut the check part. So, yeah, I mean, you know, more calls, more face to face stuff, more ask. Like, like we've been saying, just asking for it because, man, I got a lot of, A lot of people that have, you know, made commitments, made comments, made, you know, just saying they're down for the call, so to speak, and haven't fully cashed in on those things. So it's just been a. It's more just like business development and you know, literally just asking people for money, which is something I'm not good at and just trying to do that more consistently and on a larger scale. So, yeah, working on some proposals that, you know, more of the industry standard, you know, what people are charging, what people are getting, all that and just crickets and other people come back like, yeah, I told you you need to charge more, but not this much. And it's just like, I mean, that's the standard from a couple years ago technically, so it's probably even more nowadays. And like the fact that I can't seem to find anybody that's willing to pay what I'm quote unquote, supposedly worth is getting pretty frustrating. And it's like I need to have other options at this point to supplement like all the other stuff that I'm doing, which I have options there, you know, the real estate, like how my license have a crazy network, man. Like, the network's strong. So it's just like I'm just not capitalizing on the options and the stuff that I have to do, which is just more of the same, honestly. It's pissing me off, if I'm being honest. Like everything's in place and I'm just like, there's just some disconnect to like fully make it come together and fully make it work because it's all there and I busted my ass to like, make all these connections and do all these things and have all this stuff in place and be able to do the things that I know how to do, even from the past couple of years. Like, there's nobody. Nobody around here that knows, like, that has the skill set and the knowledge of, like, what I've been able to do, not only just with the podcasting stuff, but in this network effect that. This movie and belt, but just the whole thing, man. Like, I mean, we're. Same conversation in the woods, man. Like, we were like, it's all there, and it's just the lack of fully executing and to your point, you know, not posting enough, not, you know, yelling it from the rooftops enough is one of the main points. But, yeah, man, it's just. Just a little frustrating.
Sure. Well, when we're frustrated, hopefully there's. There's the point at some point, there's. There's a point in our. In our business and our life where we'll go through enough pain, where eventually we'll make a massive shift. Yeah. At some point, you know, where it's like, I'm not going to take this anymore. I'm tired of being broke, or I'm tired of not having enough money, or I'm tired of being stressed. And we. We will make some. Some sort of shift where we. We make a humongous, humongous, massive change.
You're right. And I think that's just happening. I think I'm just kind of, again, tiptoeing around it, which is annoying. And it. I mean, it's been like, what, a week and a half, two weeks? Like, I haven't even. I'm saying I've done all this stuff. I haven't really. I haven't fully done it to the scale that I have for as long as I need to. So it's kind of that instant gratification that we. Yeah, I mean, if I say it out loud, I'm like, I haven't. I've tried to do some stuff, but I haven't done it to the skill that I need to for as long as I've needed to at all, because it's been two weeks top, so. And it's. Yeah, I just haven't fully done the work, if I'm being honest with y' all and myself, so.
Yeah, well, that's okay, man. But what's. What's beautiful about it is it. It's oftentimes a realization and awareness of where we're at, you know, that that's what causes the shift you're like, wait a minute. Like, I'm feeling upset, but, like, this is still all on me, 100%. This. It's easier when it's not on us, because then we're like, okay, well, I. I could reach out to this person. I could do this, or I could. I could do this. But from the. From the man piece, it's like, I know you. You were one of the. One of the ones that struggle, tapping into the. That ultimate darkness, like, the ultimate anger, and. Because that's the energy that will, like, completely shift and make everything totally, totally happen. Because you'll start getting so focused and almost so angry at the situation and the outcomes that you produce incredible and massive results.
Yes.
But you don't. I could.
Yeah, I.
You don't.
Yeah, I didn't. I didn't have, like, any of that. It was crazy. I tried. I tried really hard. Like, I did all the things I Like fist, clench, teeth, jaw locked, you know, breathing hard, like, looking for it, like, trying to find it, and it was just, like, blank. It's. I don't know what that means.
What's your. What's your schedule for today?
Gonna. Just working on the studio some more, but I'm around. What's up?
I was wondering. What I was trying to think of is, like, when you're talking about. Think about the amount of things that you could accomplish in a day if you really, really had to. How much content could you create? How many videos could you post? How many people could you reach out to? Like, if you had to get into something into a state that's so powerful, if it's not darkness that you appreciate, but maybe it's more light? Is there. Is there certain music that gets you into the mood? Is there people that you hang around with? Is there something that you could. Like a podcast or something you can put on? Like, what motivates you in life?
What.
What does get you extremely, extremely inspired?
All those things. I mean, mainly the people and mainly the people, I would say.
Okay. Do you. Do you have people that come into your office that work with you?
Yeah.
Okay. Do you like. And you like being around them?
Yeah, I do.
Do they motivate you? Yeah.
I was actually just texting somebody that, like, was definitely one of those people hoping to get up with him later, so. Good.
Yeah. Thank you.
It's funny you say that.
Yeah. Well, I mean, the. The. The thing that's helped me a lot of times, Trent is telling other people what I'm going to do and having them hold me accountable. Yes. Because every single day, and that this, this goes to every single, you know, all the men here. We can accomplish so much in any single given day that if we just, it doesn't matter if we, if we're tapping into light or darkness, it's irrelevant. We're going to tap into some type of powerful, powerful force that's going to allow to propel us to something amazing. If we do that in a day, we can change our entire life in one day by putting out all the energy, focus and content. Because now you have tons of time, right? You're not going to wake up hungover. You have so much that you can do in a 24 hour period. So what I want you to do is give me a list of seven things that you're going to do today that would require you to take massive action. So it could be seven individual tasks, it could be seven things that you've been putting off doing. Can be seven separate things or seven exactly the same things that you're going to do today. And if you don't do it today, I'll kick you out of the program. What are those seven things?
Got you. Oh, right now?
Yep.
You need it right now.
Yeah. You know what they are.
One is definitely getting this, this questionnaire that, that Deanna, Deanna that you hooked me up with, she sent me this questionnaire that I need to get that done. Need to get these curtains and rails hung up in the studio. I need to get the studio functional. That could all happen today or tomorrow at the latest.
Do them all today. Oh, it's 7am.
Yeah. Been working on like this founding, founding 40 thing that I've been working on like just an email asking for these people to commit to 100 bucks a month for 12 months. So have that email done. Need to get some merch stuff right with my merch guy and I'm supposed to meet with him this morning as well. He's one of those guys that really fires me up as well. So meeting with him, getting the studio. Right.
Damn.
I don't know. Make videos. You said that for a while. Just push record, talk my truth, do that. I don't know how many I'm up to, but.
I'm writing them down. Where do you post the videos?
YouTube, IG, Facebook, mainly LinkedIn.
Okay, how many, how many are you gonna make?
Four.
Okay, I'm writing all this down for you. Are you gonna post them daily or you're gonna post them all at once?
Daily.
Okay, so you can make four videos. You're gonna post One today, one Tuesday, one Wednesday, one Thursday on all those platforms.
Yeah.
Okay. All right, we got 1, 2, 3, 4. Four things. Three more. Didn't include breakfast. I'll put breakfast with that guy. I'll make it.
I mean, is that. Is the founding 40 thing on there? Yep. I mean that needs to be like ready to rock and sending that to everybody, like non stop type thing. I gotta get a few shows ready for Tuesday. I don't know if that counts. That's just regular stuff. Need to get two episodes about the Positive Epis podcast edited and loaded for this week.
That's a big one. Okay.
Actually three.
Technically, three is even better. Oh.
Making all these clips. I've been working with some AI stuff to make these clips, send those to a few folks.
Got.
That's seven. That's a lot, actually.
Perfect. So I'll post it on to our group. If you don't do that, I'll kick you out tomorrow at 7am Damn.
Touche.
Sound good? Yep. Perfect. And what would be cool is I would love you to tag all of us somehow in those videos that you post those for the four videos. So you're gonna post one today, one tomorrow, one Wednesday, one Thursday. Let's go ahead and post us. We're all on social media to some degree at least. Definitely. I am. I know. You know it's easy to tag people hiddenly, right? Like, you don't have to be weird about it. You know how it works. You're amazing. So how's that sound, dude? That way we can also. I'm on it. Comment on it. Like it. Share it. We're all here to help.
Yeah, that's right, man. I appreciate it, of course.
But here's what's beautiful, dude. The beautiful thing is imagine how quickly all this stuff would change if every day you did that. Right? What are the seven most important things I need to do today? That I will do today? And if I don't, I'll saw my leg off with a spoon. Right. So my. My encouragement and I would love for you to do that this week is every day in our WhatsApp post, three things that you're going to do that day.
All right?
That's it. Just every day when you wake up, say, here's. Here's the three things that I'm going to do today. And. And then just get them done. Because the practice that you got to do is that deserving. Here's how. Here's how men specifically will feel worthy of receiving money is when you start doing things that you know, for sure are worthy of receiving work for. Right. If you enough where you're like, all right, let's say, for example, you had to paint somebody's house, you're like, okay, well, I painted their house. I feel worthy of receiving money because I spent a lot of work and a lot of time doing it. If you start finding tasks, items, interactions, things that you might have a hard time with that you do, more of, your body's gonna feel like it's easier for you. It's harder to charge when you're only doing your passions, when you're only doing the things that, that you love that fire you up, because it's easy and it's simple and doesn't feel like work, which is a lot of the things that you do. So then in certain parts of the day, if you start doing things that you might not want to do, that might feel like work, that might feel like a challenge, it might feel like something you have to sit down and really like, spend time and energy with and get direction on, you potentially should or might or maybe feel more inclined to charge for that because you're like, man, I just work so hard on these three things that I generally don't do really well at, but I spent a lot of time and energy on it, and I sure want to get paid for those things. So it'll be a little bit easier for you to start reaching out, collecting your invoices, speaking to customers, reaching out to new customers, because you got, you're going to feel like you deserve the money because you just did a bunch of things that you. That were challenging.
Yeah.
Like the, the breakfast that you're with. You could do easily eight clips with this guy, just asking him questions. Eight questions, 60 seconds or less. Right. He's, he's done business, he's done customer interaction. You could ask him, hey, man, if somebody, you know, spreading the positive, like if, if someone is struggling at work and they're struggling receiving and, and just ask them your exact position, right? If someone's self employed and they're struggling, really receiving the amount of money they feel they're worth from customers, how do you think people should overcome that? 60 seconds or less. Go and take out and just record, record you and him and record your reactions, record his thoughts, record what he says. And then you could do three or four of those videos at breakfast. And then after breakfast, you know, after that's over, then you guys could eat breakfast. But it'll be, it would be scary. I get it. It'd be weird. It wouldn't be socially normal, but that's the. Those are the people that win. People that win are the. The people that do things that the society generally doesn't do.
That's right.
Those are the people that win.
Good stuff.
So I'm excited to see you knock out those seven. Keep us posted, okay? Because they're all pretty easy, right? I mean, each one will take about 40 minutes to an hour max.
Yes, sir.
On it. All right, bro. I love you, man. And then tomorrow, keep me posted on your. On those other three. It'll be fun. Just. Just hit us, everybody. Hey, these are the three things I'm gonna do. And then tag us, man, in those videos. We'll do Sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet Ritz. Hit me with some questions, man. To actually, before, hit me with a question. Tell me how you would solve Trent's problem of not feeling worthy of receiving the money and then therefore not receiving the money that he feels like he should get from customers.
You know, as. As I was listening to Trent, I can, like, I could identify and understand where he's coming from because I. I feel a lot of the. The same thing. Sometimes just, you know, you just.
You get.
You get stuck in a rut. And I think, Jeremy, you hit it on the head. And I even wrote it down here on my little. My note sheet here. But you will receive money when you start doing things that you deserve money for, like, to take massive action. And I feel like anytime that I'm ever, like, I hit those points where it's like poopy pants mentality. Like, I can't do this when I start really pushing myself and not just the other thing, too. That really stuck out. As you were saying, not just doing the things that you're comfortable with, like, that you like doing and that are easy for you, but the uncomfortable shit. Like, I went back and watched the. The recording from Saturday and the. The whole yeses and no's. Like, I have a hard time saying no to stuff and being uncomfortable. And, like, I could put myself in uncomfortable situations, like running physical. But like, business stuff. Like, I need to get better in that area. So for me, that taking massive action. Like, I know when I get off here, I need to send some emails, I need to make some contacts and just quit being a little. And ask for a couple things and just do some that I don't want to get done instead of avoiding them. So take massive action.
Yeah, it is, man. It's a big one, dude. Because. Because gentleman. The thing is, it's like, and. And by the way, just like Jeremy, I, I struggle with it. It's not something that comes easy to anyone. Like massive action is difficult, it can be a challenge. But it's like, wow, what, what, what? Co creation, co collaboration. What, what question could you ask to the right person that would change everything? Like what? Even if, even if you never hear back, it's just the fact of doing it. For example. Trent, have you, did you make a direct message to your three heroes yet on Instagram? No. I'll do that today too. Make a number, make it eight things. That'll take 60 seconds or less. Just do a video because your three heroes tell everyone who they are.
Jay Z and Eric Church.
Yeah. So just, just send them a message on Instagram knowing that ever gonna see it, they're never gonna reply. It's okay. But what. All it's going to do is just push your fear a little bit. That's it.
Yeah, you're right.
That's. That's all it does, man. And each and those literally take camera. You know, Instagram video sends done. Three people, 60 seconds, three minutes.
Yeah.
But what it does is it tells your brain, hey, I'm doing these hard things right now. I'm doing things that I'm scared of. This is evidence, this is proof. It's like, this is hard, this is challenging, this is scary. But these are all things I am doing. And when we do things that we are scared of, our brain will begin to start feeling more and more capable and ready to receive.
That's right. Yeah.
So hit those three people up also.
Got it.
Sweet. Yeah. It's fun, man. The whole. The wealth is fun. Making money is extremely interesting because it is, it's. It's asking people and it's feeling worthy of receiving. It's knowing why and it's being able to present the character and the awareness and the, and the evidence that whatever it is that we're asking where, it's a no brainer. Because that's the other piece. The other piece that we all have to think about, gentlemen. Because a lot of us here are self employed, which is awesome. Not. But even if you're not self employed, if you do work a current job, I think a lot of you got. I think a lot of. I told you guys a lot of this but the first time I lost a bunch of money it was because I didn't know how to. I'm trying to think of the exact word but like I didn't think, I didn't. I wasn't a container to hold that type of money because I hadn't done enough work for it. So here's an example. I mean, monetarily, like a numeric example. When I worked at Nationwide Insurance, I had saved the company a million dollars of invoicing fees. So the lady who worked before me in my role, she paid out, like, I don't know the exact number. I think it was like 6 million. The previous, she had worked in that role for like four years. So each year was like six and some change. Six and some change, whatever, right around six, six million. In that particular role of paying out checks, my first year at that role, I pay out 5 million. So I'm like, listen, hey, you know, boss, she pays out 6 million for like five years, which is fine, whatever. It's part of her job. And I pay out 5 million. I, I save the company a million dollars. If I paid out 6, no would have noticed. No one cared, right? Would just been standard quote. But I didn't. I paid out 5 million. Everyone's happy. Can I get a cut of my savings? And I just asked for a small percentage. I was like, can I get a small percentage of my savings, like 5, 5, 3% of everything I saved? And they told me no. So I did ask because the evidence was there. I was clearly able to see it for myself. If I wasn't clearly able to see that evidence, would I have asked? Probably not, because it wouldn't have been obvious to me. So there's that. But then at the same time, here's what's interesting. I think all of you guys know I took my, my dad's money, a bunch of his friends money, which like 400,000 and turned into 1.2 million. And then I lost all of it. But I didn't, this didn't hit me until a couple months ago. What if I had made 800,000 and stopped? Would I have lost that amount of money? And I, I don't think I would have, I don't think I would have lost this fast. If I had taken out a bunch of money. If I had maybe sold some things and like I said, transfer some things and like, just quit my job at that moment. If I, you know, if I, if I quit my job and, and that. That was the only money that I had, that was the only money I was trading with, would I have kept it? I think the, I think the answer is yes. Maybe it isn't, maybe it's not. But the reason that I think it's extremely interesting that the number was literally 1.2 million. And I ended up losing it, like a few weeks after. Once I hit that big number. Hit the big number and end up losing it, it's because I had never seen that type of value internally. And it's because I only saved the company a million dollars. What if I had saved nationwide $2 million? Would I have made more than 1.2 million? And the answer is probably, again, I don't know. This is all like, whatever, 15 years ago.
But the.
The mental shift that happened was I sat down and I did the numbers of my actual value. Gentlemen, do the numbers like Trent, sit down and figure out how many people have I actually worked with and has. Has their businesses grown? My wife has said this before. A lot of people feel like they have imposter syndrome. Thinking a lot of you guys know what imposter syndrome is? Imposter syndrome is like you're doing something really, really big. You're like, I don't believe I don't deserve to be here. She's like, well, sometimes it's not in the. And sometimes it's not a syndrome. Sometimes you're just an imposter. And when she told me that, when she. I heard her tell the customer that once, I was like, damn right. Because imagine you're charging people for all these things and. And they're not getting any actual value for it. Like you're a house flipper, or you're a carpet cleaner, or you're, you know, a roof contractor, and you don't put on a good roof. So what helped you train is sit, sit down for a moment and look at the people that you've worked with. How much has their businesses grown? How many more people have they attracted into their platform? How much more revenue have they done, most likely? Or how much revenue could they do more of because of what you helped them with? If we sit down and start to really, really see the actual, crisp, full realization of what we do and the impact that we actually make, sometimes that can help too, because then we're able to tell other customers, listen, here's a guarantee. I can guarantee you that I will make this video for you and you will get 10,000 more views than normal, or your podcast will get 10,000 more downloads or whatever. And here's what I can guarantee it. I've done it on literally 98% of every other customer that I've worked with in the last three years. And if you have 10,000 more downloads, that's 10,000 brand new people that are listening. That means that you need to throw in One ask in your podcast, you know, rate it, review it, share it, what it ask your listeners to do something. And I can tell you the general current response rate is 5%, right? 5% of people that you ask, they'll do whatever you ask them to do on your podcast. And 5% of 10,000 is 500. So you're going to get 500 new reviews, 500 new likes, 500 new thumbs up, 500 new shares, 500 new whatever. And then if you did that every week for the rest of the year, you know, you might be at 50,000 followers, 50,000, whatever. And so if, and when we have a product that we can stand behind, that's compelling, that we can visually look at and say, this is exactly what, this is the real value. This is what I can do for you, then we get to find out if we can actually do it. And if we're finding it out, if we're showing people, if we're helping people, it's going to make us feel a lot better. So I'll give you an example, Trent and Matt. But Jeremy, when, when we had those customers at our, at the house and we were trading with them and you and I made money trading each day, and they did also, right? We're walking around, they're taking the exact same trade that we took and they all made money. Didn't that make you feel like the, the, the retreat Was more valuable? 100% because they're able, yeah, because they're actually able to get a concrete evidence, like at that moment of what's happening. Like they were, they, they were there and they're like, okay, like, it would have been a lot harder for us to feel the value, even though we know the value was there. No one would ever care in a million years. If we lost every single day right out of three days, if we lost every day out of three days in a row, we would have been able to justify it internally. Everything would have been fine. None of the customers would have cared. But deep, deep, deep down inside my subconscious, I would have felt like a shithole. And I would have done more for them. I would have done another webinar. I would have invited them to another thing. I would have done more and more and more value because I wouldn't have felt like that's aligned with what we wanted to do. Like our end up, our ending mission for that particular retreat that me and Jeremy hosted. It's like, well, if we know we can get someone the results and we claim and tell people that we're going to get them the results and business team, get them the results. Another stupid story. I worked at a dry cleaners, and this one lady came and she's like, hey, this is my. My husband's favorite tie. And he got. Whatever. He got some stain on his tie. She's like, can you get it off? I was like, of course. She's like, okay, well, we have another dinner party tonight, so I need. I'm gonna come back and pick it up later. Like, okay, guys, I tried to get that stain off. I don't know what the hell he spilled on it, but it was like, it was. Stain didn't come off. She came back that night, and the first thing I said when she walked through the door, I was like, hey, I didn't get the stain off, and it's free. I'm not going to charge you. My boss got so pissed. This was a six dollar transaction. Six dollars. All right. That's how much. How much it costs to dry clean a tie, by the way. Good. Jesus. Six bucks. Six dollars. And my boss got so bad. And to be clear, it wasn't like. What I did is like, I just put through the process and, you know, they tell them what, hey, there's a stain on it. I put a little mark on it and they did their chemicals and whatever, and the stain didn't come off. It's like, I didn't actually physically go in and, like, clean it myself, but I knew that this. I knew the tie didn't come off. I knew the stain didn't come off. My boss got so pissed. I was like, he. He was like, you should have charged her for that. She would have paid it. I was like, yeah, dude, but stain didn't come off. Is there one reason she came in the store? All that means is 98, 99% of the time if we can. I. I think you all have read that book, $100 million offers by Alex Rosi. He says everything that everyone else says about business, but he says it in a really cool way. Trent, Paul, Michael, Matt, Calvin. If you come up with an offer so compelling that people say stupid. People feel stupid saying no. And the offer is compelling because you have evidence. If you don't have evidence, don't make the offer. If you have evidence, you know, make. Make the offer. Tell people, show them. Create something that's just like so obvious. It's so. It would be a mathematical impossibility for someone to say no to it because you have so much validation behind you. You'll do more business and you'll feel really, really, really better about selling yourself because it's so obvious. Like, why would you not do this? It's another thing that helps a lot. Calvin, how would you help solve Trent's problem? Because you're self employed, you have to ask people for money. You have to invoice people for money.
Yeah. I mean, lately. Actually, it's funny you bring this up because I've been low on cash lately. And so I, I kicked in the afterburners. I applied to, like, I'm not even getting like 200 jobs over the weekend, but they're all remote so that I can treat them like, even though it's a job, I can treat them. I can treat it like a freelance job because they don't know if I have two or three of these running at the same time. But to answer your question specifically, what do you want me to answer?
Yeah. So how can, how would someone. Doesn't matter who it is. How would someone feel better about receiving more money for work and being able to actually receive it?
Yeah, I mean, I think, I think you're right. You know, if the proof is in the pudding, right. If it's like actually helping them, then it's easier to ask. But if it's like, I don't know. Yeah, it's. I think it's like it has to do with the relationship too. You know, you kind of have to like build a relationship with someone. Like, you can't just. Most people don't just want to pay a bunch of money to someone they don't know. Like, you have to kind of work on it and then you can.
Get.
There, you know, Like, I know with me and you, like, you saw me make a ton of videos for the island before we ever did anything together. So it was like. And we, we hung out on the island and everything. So I think that's part of it too. Building relationships.
Yeah, absolutely. The relationships are big and the value, like you said, the value is there. So for, for all of us here, like in any business that we ever do, just, just really think, like, what value are you actually creating? And come up with some tangible evidence.
Like people like to, to, to like people hire their friends. Like I, I used to do that all the time at shot studios, like my homies that like I would get lunch with or would, you know, I don't know, just that I knew were like the first people I'd call. So I'm a big, like, I think relationships are big, you know, and little things go so far, you know, like buying Someone a Christmas present at the end of the year or offering to pay for a meal or whatever. Like, people just remember that stuff and they're just like, you know what? I like him. I want to use it. Because there's so many people that they can choose for that service. You know, there's no shortage of, like, talented people in the world, so.
Yeah, no shortage. Yeah, totally, totally, totally. So, I mean, I. I'll give you an example for whoever's. Whoever needs it or wants it. And Calvin, I know you already do this. This is. This is good for you. But the story is at the. There's a 29029 ever sing challenge. You guys have heard of it, where you have to run up the mountain a bunch of times, and it's the equivalent of climbing Everest and you have 36 hours to do it. I didn't know this. Which is fine. It's irrelevant. But at the end of every conference, they have a remake video, like a recap video. And that recap video was. Was. Is made during the event. Now here's how that actually ends up happening. There's this young guy that this. This is the second time they've ever had this event. And it's being run by three pretty famous people, right? Mark Kudelik, who's. Who has like 40 NCAA world records. Colin O' Brady and Jesse Isler, like, those are the three people that created this event. And this random guy, I don't know where it comes up to Jesse and says, hey, here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to climb the event, I'm going to film the event, and I'm give you a video of the event before the event's over for free. If you love it, I want to do this for every single. For the future ones. And if you don't love it, don't hire me. That was his ask. And Jesse's like, all right, you're going to climb the mountain, shoot a video and edit the video. Good luck, bro. And he did it, right? This guy climbs Everest. He gets his red hat the entire time he's climbing, he's shooting video, and then he edits it somehow. I listen. I don't even know. No one knows, like, how the heck this guy do that. Maybe hired someone from the Philippines. I don't. Doesn't matter. And the Internet's not great on these mountains. So the fact that I think this kid just stayed up the whole time and just grinded his absolute dick off and then made this video and it was a good video. And Jesse was blown away. And he gets hired now. He gets every single 29, 29 Everesting climb. And that, that's his. Whatever. I don't know how much he gets paid. It doesn't really matter to me. But the videos are great. He does a great job. And he got hired. But he made this audacious crazy ask something that was so insane. Here's another good one, guys. This happened last week. Last week, some dude contacts me. The guy lives in Nashville. I'm gonna meet him in person two or three weeks from now, probably. I had two guys that live in Nashville. One dude was like, hey, bro, you should meet this guy. He can grow your Instagram account. I was like, okay, I trust the other guys. I was like, all right, whatever. Hey, man, what's up? He's like, he. He sends me a text message. Hey, man, I'll guarantee that I hit your. I will guarantee that you will get a. A million followers by the end of the year. Now, it's an interesting guarantee. I know it's fraudulent. Like, there's no way anyone can guarantee that. But no one's ever, ever said the word guarantee either with that big of a number. So he gets a phone call from me. Hey, I'm a hop on the phone. He's like, he, he's explaining, hey, it's a software. You pay for the software, the software does all these things, and you're going to get a million followers. I was like, dude, in my mind, this offer sounds sketchy as $30,000 to. To guarantee a million followers. So I was like, do me two favors. Send me two or three accounts of people that you've done this before. He sends me the accounts. I go, their followers. It's all a bunch of fake ass, shitty ass, garbage accounts. There's no one real. I knew that going into it.
Right?
I knew that there's no way that someone can guarantee that. But what if it was real? What if he made an offer that was like a hundred thousand people? Would I still pay $30,000 and the people were real? I spent $30,000 on dumber things, right? I don't know. But the point is, he got my phone call. That's a big. That's. Guys, that's a big, right? If he made that claim and I pulled up those accounts and the followers of the people that he sent me were legit individuals, and the comments were like, you know, a hundred people making comments, and the comments were real. They just weren't like fire emojis or Something. If the comments were real and the people were real, I was looking at the profile, I would have paid that $30,000 that day. Is it? But that's interesting, right? It's very, very interesting for us to think about, like, what. What could we do for a customer or client that would be so obvious they'd have to hire us or say yes. They'd have to. Paul, hit me with an example. In your industry, in your current line of work, what would be an offer that you could offer whoever that's so obvious they'd have to say yes.
It's a good question. I mean, What's that?
It could be totally made up. I'm not saying you're not going to have to implement this, because I know people get scared when I ask because they're like, oh, dude, new stuff's going.
To make me do this.
Yeah, yeah.
I. I can get all your major IT initiatives finished by the end of the year.
What's a major IT initiative?
A new accounting system is going in place or a new HR system being implemented. Those things take at least a year. If most of the time it takes two to three years.
Got it. Yeah. So. And you're working with big brands, right? So you're like, hey, big brand, you know, McDonald's, Coke, whatever. I'm gonna get this. I'm going to get the entire HR initiative taken care of, and it's going to happen by the end of the year. That would be. That'd be an offer they'd have to say yes to, is what you're saying correct. And if they said yes to it, you probably won't be able to fulfill it.
No chance.
But if you did, how much would you charge for it?
I mean, I could charge a million bucks. They'd spend more on that over the. Over the course of three years.
Sure. But how interesting is a team that, like, when asked, Paul's like, oh, get that kombucha, baby. Smash it. I love some kombucha, you know, I love that you knew the answer so quickly, though, Paul, because I think every one of us in our industry, we have something like that, right? We have. We have something that we could offer. Not saying that we have to. Not saying that we should, because we don't want to look like an idiot if we don't fulfill our promise. But what I'm asking is, imagine if you could think of something, gentlemen, that would get you really close to, wow, this sounds crazy, amazing and insane. And boy, oh, boy, if I pulled it off, man, I'd I'd get a lot more money. I'd have to. We could just think about it and then we can reverse engineer what that looks like from there. Because value will always come down to value. If you provide anyone something that's so outlandishly amazing and you're like, dude, I spent, I climbed Everest, filmed a video, and edited it simultaneously, you're not going to be afraid of asking. This is going to be pretty exciting. You know, you're like, wow, I'm kind of a badass. And if Paul finished and implemented an entire new HR organization for McDonald's by the end of the year, he would feel quite incredible about that. So if we begin to figure out how we can get that amount of value, we can think through it, how we become more efficient. I thought saving nationwide an extra million dollars a year would be a good thing. They didn't care. It's all good. But if I had known that going in, we're like, hey, you hire me for this job and I'll save you a million dollars. If I knew that going into the role, probably would have gotten paid a lot more, maybe, I don't know, possibly. What about you, Matt? In your role right now, in your potential for maybe new consulting gig or for your new something that you offer someone, what would be so compelling that somebody would have to say yes?
Still coming up with something. I honestly kind of still stuck on trying to figure out that next thing. So. Kind of.
Which is, yeah, if you're, if you're thinking of the next thing, like, don't know exactly what it would be, it's gonna be hard to get that.
I mean, I, I mean, I, I, I've done it in the past, you know, creating value. Like, I mean, in my past companies, you know, I've done it where like, like when I had my consulting business where they, people would call me if they needed something done under, under time constraint or it was just something somebody, somebody else wouldn't be able to do. Like, I mean, sometimes we would actually end up having to complete a job like, you know, under a real tight time constraint and in, in hard conditions, I'd do it. Like, I mean, I'd get it done and people would call me back because of it. You know, it's funny, it all stems back to when I was a kid. I had a newspaper out and one of the biggest values I created there was every Christmas I would give all the dogs on my paper route dog biscuit for, for Christmas or, and everybody else that didn't have a dog would Get a candy cane and a thank you. And I made so much money doing that when, you know, I was only 14, 15 years old. But creating that value. And people, people knew I worked hard to get them their paper. Like living in the Northwest, it wasn't always the greatest weather. You know, there would be times when I'd be in the snow delivering newspapers. You know, I've always had that, that mindset of pushing to get, you know, provide service beyond what people expect, you know, or the thinking that they're going to get from, From. So. But in, in terms of, you know, coming back, back around. Yeah, I'm just kind of still in that what's next kind of stage when I'm. What I'm looking to do.
Sure. I mean, dude, sounds like you could go do newspapers if you want to.
Yeah, well, I mean, I mean, that's, that's. I, I mentioned I, you know, thinking about doing sales or something like that. That's kind of an interesting thing that I, I look to like. I went to Walmart with my son the other day, and we were walking into Walmart and this kid was sitting out front. I don't know what he was selling, but he noticed that my son and I were wearing the same blue shirt. And he was just saying, hey, you guys, you guys look identical. Because he, my son's tall, just tall as I am, and he's like, nice blue shirts. And then after we walk into the store, my son's like, oh, that, that guy's like, I wonder at what he's selling. Like, you know, he, he, he caught our attention. I mean, that was, that was pretty cool.
Yeah, no, it is. I mean, but again, yeah, sales, sales are awesome. They're easy. Yeah, that's 100%, dude. That's just something that. It's very, very simple to get into that role because again, talking about something, the value is there. It's like, did you sell or did you not?
Yeah, definitely.
Definitely a possibility. And what's cool, gentlemen, is we can always ask, right? We can ask and get feedback and get information. From places that are more powerful than us to really learn what, whatever question we want the answer to. There's a very popular saying by my wife. In prayer we ask and in meditation we receive. So if we ever want to receive big answers, if we ever want to receive big questions that give us big answers, do so in meditation, right? Come up with something that's powerful and amazing and incredible and start asking. And then when we get that answer, trust it. Because a lot of times when we ask questions and we get an answer, we're like, well, yeah, but I don't know. I don't know if I want to do that.
Like, well, why?
Why'd you ask them? I get that. I got a question. It was whatever. A few years ago, I was doing meditation and one of the. One of the meditations was like, it was essentially, what's the one thing you can do in your life right now? The one thing you can do in your life that will give you the absolute maximum potential? The one thing that'll shift your entire body, your entire life. You'll shift everything instantaneously. What is it? And in the meditation, I got stop drinking alcohol. That's what I got. I was like, yeah, but come on. I was like, oh, come on, give me something different. That's stupid. Don't give me that. I didn't. Seriously, I didn't stop for another. Whatever. A couple months, couple years, whatever it was. And this was a while ago. But how funny is that? I asked her easy question. I got a very specific answer. I didn't like the answer, so I just didn't do it. Yep.
Yeah, I think. I think we're all guilty of that from time to time.
Oh, dude, all of us. 100% sure. Yeah, totally. But again, team, the one. Here's the funny thing. In that meditation, I did. I did not f. I did not follow up with a question for how long? So I. I had to do that one later, right? I had to do that same exact meditation again. The same one I'm about to lead you guys through. And I did not ask that follow up question for how long? And so I had to do that again at another point in time where I went back, exact same meditation. I asked some follow up questions and got some really powerful answers. So keeping all this in mind, remember that everything that you want is within you. Everything that you need is within you. And we all have to step up and create some massive, massive action. Massive action will create value. Value will create income. Income can create wealth. That's it. That's the formula. So do me a favor. Let's. Start by taking some deep breaths in through the nose. My nose is a little stuffy, but we'll figure it out. Let's close our eyes and just keep in mind that this will not take very long. This will be a nice, short, easy, simple meditation. Take another deep breath in through the nose. And with your eyes closed, I want you to imagine a path forming in front of your feet. This is the same path that We've all walked down together before. This is the path that will lead you into the garden of your heart. The same place that we have been before. So as you begin walking down this path, keeping in mind there are only right answers. It can be any type of path. You can be wearing shoes. You cannot be wearing shoes. It's up to you. Walk down the path and begin noticing that huge gate that you've seen before. That very, very powerful gate. Massive, humongous gate. Take your hands and open the gates. Really, really powerful gate in front of you. And as you open the gate, continue walking down this path. And remember, this path is just the path to lead to the garden of your heart. And what you'll notice is that you've been here before. To the right you have fields, meadows, mountains, rivers, streams. It's beautiful. It's gorgeous. It's stunning. It's well kept. And to the left you have flowers as far as the eye can see. And then inside those flowers, you have the tree. The tree that we've healed previously. It's beautiful. It's vibrant, it's growing. Remember, this was the tree that you looked inside and you saw the figure of the person that you needed to forgive. A lot of you saw yourself. Some of you saw your father. As we look into this tree, we'll notice that it's healed. That it's beautiful, that it's elegant, that it's growing. That it's powerful. And I want you to climb the branches of this tree like you did when you were a kid, with your arms, with your legs, with your hands, grabbing the branches and climbing, climbing to the very, very top of this tree, Knowing that you're safe, knowing that you're protected, knowing that you're guided. And as you, as you stand at the top of this tree, on top of some nice big branches, I want you to feel your body begin to levitate off this tree and slowly rise up into the heavens. And as you rise up, you're rising up into outer space, into the cosmos. You're just slowly going off of this tree higher and higher until all around you, all you see is white. Like a giant, white, white room. Like that room that Nia was in inside the Matrix where everything was white. Everything is white all around you. And you're standing here in this white room with white lights, with nothing to see. And while you're here, you hear a very familiar voice. Voice is laughing. This voice is you. Once again. This is your higher self. You have seen him many times in the past. And you will See him many times again in the future. But this is the best, richest, happiest, wealthiest, most knowledgeable, most secure version of yourself. This is the ultimate you. The you that lives in pure abundance, absolute joy, total prosperity, calmness, peace, and serenity. This is your higher self standing in front of you. And I want you to ask him three questions. Question number one, what is my purpose? Question number two, for how long? Question number three, for how many people? Embrace and hug your higher self. Give them a fist bump. Thanks, bro, for being here. Thank you for giving me guidance. Thank you for giving me wisdom. Thank you for giving me some answers. And after you hug your higher self, imagine in your mind's eye that you slowly fade down out of the white light room, out of the white lights, back slowly down through the cosmos, through the sky, back into the tree inside the garden of your heart. The tree that is healed, that is strong, that is powerful, that's very rooted. It's very aware of its presence. As you land back on the top of the tree, slowly climb down the tree, back into the garden of your heart, noticing the path in front of you, behind you, as flowers, as far as the eye can see. You're able to look around, just see absolute, gorgeous, majestic scenery. The exact same scenery that you've noticed before. Walk back onto the path. And now as you're walking, you're feeling stronger, you're feeling more certain, you're feeling more powerful, you're feeling more secure, you're feeling more energized, you're feeling more aware. Close the gate behind you. Knowing that you will be here in this exact same place again, knowing that this is a place that you can come to for answers, for guidance, for understanding, for awareness. As you're walking down the path, continue to take steps as we get closer and closer to taking two deep breaths in through the nose, deep breath in through the nose, deep breath out.
And.
And then on the second inhale, I want you to slowly open your eyes, come back into the present moment, Take some quick notes if you need to, and I will be calling on all of you. To see what you got. All right, Beautiful. Michael, how was that for you, my man? Share with us. You there, Mike? No. All right, Paul. What you got for us, my man? Yeah, my.
My purpose was to help others. The duration for that was forever, which aligns with what I've got written out in. In my life plan and obviously in. In other words. But it was like the answers were immediate, like I didn't have to think about it. That question you came out of your head. It just boom, boom. I had all, all three answers right away.
Cool. It's awesome, man. To help people. It's a big one. And what's cool is again to keep in mind because we, a lot of times we will get those answers and we'll know, we'll be, we'll be inspired by it, we'll be moved by it. At any time. Team, we can again ask any direct questions to ourselves. Our higher self is the closest to direction, contact to God that we want. So the higher self, the future self, our future version of us knows everything that we don't know or knows everything that we should know and that we want to know so we can always get guidance from. It's just the best version of ourselves, a better version of ourselves. I love that, man. Thanks. Awesome. Calvin, what was it for you, dude?
Mine was kind of like, like I'm supposed to teach people about kind of like their mental health or like their psychology almost, which was interesting. I don't know, maybe because I've struggled with that in my life that like, maybe I'll re. Reach a certain level where I can then pass down knowledge on that.
Yeah, dude, that's awesome. I love that. That's great.
Yeah. I mean, I'm not a psychiatrist or a psychologist, but just kind of like I've struggled a lot with like depression and ocd, like different things, you know, And I think there's a lot of like material out there that's just sort of like blanket or basic and I don't know, maybe like meeting up with people and just talking with them about it, like kind of in a non professional way. But like, I don't know. I think there's something there.
Sure.
That's awesome, man. Yeah. I mean, again, you're a filmmaker, right? So you can create stories, you can create information for that, those things or into things you could do. Yeah, that's really awesome.
Yeah. I'm going to keep thinking about it. It's very fresh, so.
Sure.
Good.
Yeah.
Good.
All right. Michael said he had technical difficulties. Are they, are they back and fixed, brother?
Yeah.
Good.
Now. Mine was. More in lines with taking my passion, which is geared towards like, more in like the fitness realm and just being able to, you know, just help that one, one person. Like not necessarily being like this most impactful craziness, but just like giving that person that, you know, doesn't have that knowledge for that information and being able to help change their lives.
Sure. But kind of like, kind of like Calvin, right? Your, your, your goal is to work and educate and influence some people on the goodness of what they're doing.
Okay, so we're gonna.
Yep. Awesome. Yeah. Sorry about that. Had a gentleman knock on my door. Yeah, man, right. Education. Right. Enlightening people, telling people, teaching people, Giving people some insight, some information on what they may or may not have had in the past. What. What. What better way to impact individuals? Right. Give them something they can keep for the rest of their life. Matt, what about you, big guy? What'd you get?
I. I got the. In a loving, supportive role for others. Not necessarily helping, but more of a supportive role. But I guess now thinking about it, it's more spinning towards, like, showing, you know, showing what. What I've done and, you know, being kind of a something people can look and aspire to be.
Sure.
Yeah. And it was indefinitely as many people. Yes, I can reach out to, but more. Yeah, more. More of a supportive. I mean, well, versus necessarily helping.
Love that. Love that, man. That's beautiful. All right, I guess we'll go. We'll go around the whole table. So we got Calvin, we got Matt. We did Michael, we'll do Paul. So we'll do Trent, and then Jeremy.
Man, I was just kind of having a hard time getting stuff right now, man. It's weird. Just kind of want to do that again by myself. I could kind of. I mean, I did the whole thing. I was on the path and everything was beautiful. Went to the tree, did the whole thing and, like, kind of saw my future self. Kind of didn't. And the questions were a little quick, and I just. I didn't. It's weird. Like, I got a lot of stuff just swirling, it seems like. And I'm. It's hard to, like, lock in and focus on. It's really weird, man. I don't know. I. I didn't. I didn't get very clear answers on any of that. Not sure what that means, but.
All right.
Probably need to try again. So.
Yeah, that's okay. You can definitely try again.
Yeah, that is easy.
What's good is that it's free, it's quick, and it's simple. Doesn't cost anything extra. Ritz. What about you, big guy?
Yeah, mine was pretty immediate. It was my kids, and it was forever. And it's for the. The whole world, because when you raise productive, caring, quality human beings, they're going.
To go out and share the light.
And love and make positive change and impact in the world. So, you know, it was.
It was, like, awesome. Heck, yeah. That's gonna make you hug your kids extra tight today, huh? Oh, for sure. I love it, man. That's awesome.
Beautiful.
Thanks for sharing all the photos of your kids on Facebook, man. Awesome to see them grow up.
They were pounding some wings yesterday, so.
Yeah. Good, good, good.
Well, gentlemen, thank you for being with me on this holiday Monday morning. Truly appreciate it. What I would love for you all to do is something powerful is if at any point in time this week you get that same chance to ask to do that meditation and to get more answers from your higher self regarding anything, you can write that exact same meditation. Very simple, very easy, very quick. Where it's just. It allows us to be guided, allows us to be told, you can do that as many times as you want this week regarding anything. Business, income, jobs, what's next? What should you do? Why should you do it? If you want to, I would highly encourage you to. And then, of course, I'll be here next Saturday morning with each and every one of you. Same time, same place. So, gentlemen, have a great week with your family. Have a great week with yourself. Go be the best version of yourself that's possible for the world today in this week. Love you all so much, and thanks for being here. You guys rock. Let's go. Crush it.
