Man, oh, man, oh, man.
I was reading an article where.
Where Texas Go? You were just talking about, like, tracking your sleep and all these different things. They're saying in the next two years, your aura ring or your Apple watch or your whoop will actually be able to measure epithelials. And with CRISPR and genomic indexing, it'll actually be able to diagnose where you're at as far as, you know, supplements are concerned. Sleep deprivation, oxygen, nitric oxide level, it's. It's the craziest freaking thing.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Tech is coming, baby.
Yeah, yeah. Speaking of, since we're talking about wealth today, let me just share my screen. Just so you guys are aware, I don't personally have any investment into this, at least not right now. But I would like like you all to at least know that it's aware. Something to be aware of. So there is a company that he mentioned called Crisper. And so Crispr Therapeutics is like internal biologics for humans, and they're working on a lot of genome splicing and DNA upgrades and things of that nature. So an investment sector to always keep your mind on is human improvement, right? So anything. Anything that if you think about essentially as a wearable tech. Wearable tech that can track and measure body performance, food performance, sleep performance, that will be a sector that will continue to grow. And that's another reason why Apple is doing really well. Kurt, you know about Nike, right? All the things that Nike's doing with wearable tech, Crisper is another company to just kind of keep aware of. Google's gonna buy a lot of those companies, so it's something you can put in your calendar once every three or four months. Hey, research and look at wearable tech companies or human genome bio companies that are going to, you know, work on advancing the human genetics. Crispr is one of them. It's a very volatile stock. This is a stock that can definitely go to zero. Okay. This is not an unbreakable basket, which means if I was going to put money into this, I'd put a little bit of money and probably leave it alone for a while or. Or actively trade it. Right? Meaning, like, if you're going to buy and sell, you can buy, sell, buy, sell, buy, sell. Because since 2022, it has moved 74% one time, 66% another time, and 100% another time. That's the last two years. So you've had 3, 50% plus growth on CRISPR if you buy it low enough. And Kurt's amazing at math. So he'll tell you you put in $20,000 and make 50% and then you make 100% and you make another 50%. That's now $55,000 over the course of two years. So you can pull out your original investment and the rest is house money. Right, gentlemen?
Correct.
Right, yes. So that's investing in a nutshell. What we're here to do today, to give you a quick little just overview is ultimately we are going to go through some meditation and some inner work today as well, probably for the last 45 minutes and some change. But between now and then, I want to open the floor for anyone here to ask me any question that you can conceive about anything related to wealth. Insurance, taxes, real estate, investing, debt, income.
Anything money related that you want. Feel free to dive in. So I'm going to start off with Chuck.
Beautiful.
Although Stephen has his hand raised real quick.
Oh, and I'm happy. Where's the hand? Yeah, let me see it.
Hand is being raised. Okay. Stephen. What's up, buddy?
Look at that suit jacket. Gentlemen.
Dang it.
I feel underdressed. So good.
Thank you, brother. Let's see. I had, I guess the first one. I tried to stack up a few for today and have them ready. But the first one is how should I look at tax advantaged retirement accounts as far as and be able to decide how much to put in it year to year?
Great question. Okay, so Steven's question, just to reiterate for anyone who might not have been able to hear it exactly, is how do you determine how much money to put into a Tax Advantage account?
There are two main problems with Tax Advantage accounts. Number one problem with a Tax Advantage account is they limit how much money you can put in every year. It's number one. And number two.
Once you start making over $350,000 a year, you can no longer contribute to your Tax Advantage accounts.
Because the government wants to make more money off of you. That makes pretty. That makes a lot of sense, right? So they're like, hey, he doesn't need, he doesn't need a retirement. He's making 350 a year. He should be fine. So those are the two main problems with Tax Advantage accounts now. Number one, until you make more than 350 a year, max it out. Put as much money as you can into your Tax Advantage accounts because the goal ultimately is when you are at a retirement age. I hope and pray. One of my biggest wishes for all of you is that you're in a whole different tax bracket than you are now, right? I want you all to be making over $1 million a year when you're in your 50s or 60s. So if that's the case, you're going to be in a different tax tax bracket, which means you're going to want to pay less taxes on the income that you're producing. So that's why you're going to want to have all that money. That's tax advantage. Now, contribute as much as you can is a. A possibility.
Now, let me give you a caveat, Stephen. There's a book called Killing Sacred Cows by Gained by a guy named Garrett Gunderson. And in the book, what Garrett says is, hey, retirement is cool. Tax advantages are cool. There's a lot of different ways to do it, and you've been sold one way to do it.
Let me give you all another very, very interesting tax advantage loophole. All right, Steven, you ready? This is. You're going to love this. You're going to love this.
Real estate is a humongous tax advantage loophole. Now, when I say real estate, I specifically mean apartment complexes, also known as multifamily. If you own apartment complexes multifamily, or a really, really big development of some kind, you can decrease your taxable income through something called cost segregation.
And accountant will use the cost segregation of this property to decrease your taxable income through the amount of ownership that you own that property. So I'm gonna do a whiteboard and give you guys some really quick math, and I'm gonna show you why this matters a lot. They give me three seconds. Okay, let's say that you make $120,000 a year.
That means you're gonna be paying taxes on about 25% of whatever you make right there. So if you make $120,000 a year, if you live in the US you're going to be paying approximately 25% tax on $120,000. Now, let's say that you have seven or eight friends that all have $20,000.
In their checking account or savings account or wherever, right? Raimi. Here's Raymond, by the way. You guys all know he's here visiting me in Nashville. Raymond's got $20,000 laying around. A few of you guys will have $20,000 laying around. So if you have six or seven friends, Stephen, that have $20,000, right? If you went to a person that owns a bunch of apartment complexes and you said to them, hey, I can bring you some capital for your apartment complex.
Because I have a bunch of friends Stephen, you can work out an arrangement with the owner of this apartment complex to receive some of the tax benefits.
That they're going to receive by owning this apartment complex. And the tax benefits for you is you get to own a percent of the write off of taxes. So if this apartment building is worth $2 million, they probably have at their discrepancy $800,000 worth of cost segregated taxes available for their investors. Since you brought, and you helped bring some of the money into the deal, Stephen, you could arrange to have some of this money given to you. And you wouldn't need a lot because you only made $120,000 after all of your write offs, you could negotiate getting $60,000 of that tax depreciation so that what is now your taxable income, Stephen, is only.
$60,000. So on paper, you now only made $60,000 because you brought some money to an apartment complex deal. And that apartment complex deal owner gave you some of the cost segregation that was available because you brought money into the deal. Does that make sense?
Yes.
Isn't that crazy?
Dude, does that work like a K2, Jeremy?
Like, is that a K2? Is that what actually, that's actually K1.
Oh, it's K1.
Okay.
It's gonna be a K1. Yep. Because you're going to own a part of that apartment building based on, based on what the owner of the building is allowing you to do. Now, you might be doing the math, Stephen, but that this math right here, this functionality is way more valuable, way more useful, and way more wealth appreciated than any tax saving plan available to you, 401K Roth, any of that stuff. So the question becomes, if you know how to do that and you know the people in your network, in order to do that, why put any money at all towards your tax advantage plan and, and spend a bunch of money figuring out how you can connect with people that have an extra $20,000 laying around. And then eventually the more people you meet, you'll start meeting people that have an extra $200,000 laying around. Right? And if you're spending some of your extra income and your money to meet those people and you bring that money to an apartment complex, then you get bigger and bigger deals. And then ultimately, instead of just getting some of the cost segregation, you can also take ownership of the actual deal. And now you own part of the actual building with $0 in the deal yourself. And gentlemen, what's important about that is every single one of you could do that right now legally, for free. Get a humongous tax savings and start building your wealth just by making fucking phone calls. Typing A5. If that changes your life, like that's available. All of you can do that right now. Every single one of you. I have a deal right now that you can start putting that money into. It's just something to think about. It doesn't mean that you have to do it. Just know that it's available to you. Now imagine, Kurt, if you start doing this enough. Is it possible to have enough money, enough network and enough connections to never pay taxes? Stephen, what do you think?
Yes, absolutely.
If you own enough cost segregation through other deals that might not have to be yours, you can never pay taxes ever again. Now, when I say taxes, I mean federal income taxes. You're going to pay state taxes. You're going to pay, you know, all the other taxes. That's fine, that's okay. You might not have to pay federal taxes. Now. Last year I didn't get a chance to own that enough K1 depreciation. I need to get a little bit more in my life. So I still had to pay taxes for 2023. But gentlemen know this. I cannot wait for the day that I have to pay $10 million in taxes. I'm really excited about that day. Hasn't happened yet, and it probably won't happen for a while, but when it happens, I'll be pretty pumped. That's a problem that I want to have.
Absolutely, yes. Hey, one other thing too, Jeremy, and that is for any of you that are real estate professionals, if you are involved in mortgages or you actually have your real estate license, any way, shape or form. There's also another added benefit which is the accelerated appreciation that happens on these properties. That is like liquid gold. It's kind of the craziest thing, but different categorizations of products like roofing, plumbing, electrical, they have different levels of depreciation. And in some instances, I'm sure, Jeremy, you know this better than most, you can take that accelerated depreciation and that comes right off your taxes as well.
Right off your taxes, gentlemen, right? So the thing is, you want as much K1 in your life as possible. So what's cool, Stephen, is 401ks and IRAs and Roth IRAs. Those are really cool.
For average people.
For the. For the average income, you don't want a 401k. You want a K1, right? You put the K in a different spot.
Changes the game.
You want those K1s, you don't want those 401ks. I gotta write that down.
All right, I'm gonna put that on my desk.
That sentence. Yeah.
That'S right. That's right. Okay. Beautiful questions, even. Thanks for asking. I hope that was helpful. And again, book recommendation. Killing sacred cows, if anybody wants it. It's just a mindset shift where. Where Garrett says. And I was texting Garrett a couple days ago, which is a dream come true, by the way. Just let you guys know. It took seven years for me to get Garrett's phone number. Seven years. But I finally got it because that was one of my books. It was like, oh, wow, you can do that. And that's good. It's good. But he's like, what? If you know your purpose, your direction, your focus, don't spend any of your money in retirement. Make as much money as you can now and then find ways to have tax savings with bigger income. That was his mindset shift. So I was like, oh, cool. He's like, I don't even. I don't even know what an IRA is.
Yeah, it's just an interesting mindset shift, that's all. Because we start playing around with tens of millions and hundreds of millions or billions. It's like the whole. Everything changes. Because again, you get. Literally, as I mentioned, you get limited to how much you can put into your retirement once you start making enough money. Because the government's like, ah, don't need a retirement. He's too rich. Steven's too rich.
Quick clarification. So in that example, are you lowering your income, your taxable income, to 60 from the 120? Correct. Okay, yeah. Thank you. My pleasure. Anything for you. You got it.
All right, who else got one for me?
Hey, Jeremy. Oh, I'm sorry, there's Jan's.
Hit me. Let me check. And Yanz will go next.
No, you can go next.
No, you know what?
I was gonna say for, you know, young men in particular, but for literally any of us, what. What is a good ratio? So, like, I know time when you have time on your side. Investing early is a beautiful thing. And even doing a set aside where you're starting to invest in maybe some ETFs, and like, in the tech sector, especially right now, because there's no question, at least in my mind's eye, that where technology is going is literally at a vertical rate right now. So what would you say to someone? Because I know we have William, we have Cole, we have Kurt, we have. We have people who are in business, but also have a lot of young men in here. And, you know, I'm 57. I feel like I'm 12, but that's beside the point. At. At this point in your life, what would be a great strategy for someone to start putting together some allocations? Even if it's like, summer jobs or, you know, side money? You know, what.
What's.
What's a great way that someone can park it and let it ride right now where they don't have to babysit it every single day?
Yep. Great question. So really, there's two questions in there. How much to allocate and what to put it in, essentially. And so for my. For Anyone who's under 30.
My opinion is invest into something I would refer to as unbreakable baskets. So there's this very, very popular term, you've all heard of it. Don't put all of your eggs in one basket. Okay, well, that's only if you don't have any chickens.
Or if the basket can break. So if you're investing into something and you have other chickens. Right, right, Derek, you can go get more chickens, AKA a job. So if you have a job and you're able to be employed, you're able to spend a little bit of energy and time to make money because you're younger. Do it right. Do it. Spend energy and time right now on just creating more income.
For me. I'll give you all the pyramid that will change your life forever. Every single one of you here. If you start working on following this protocol with your wealth, you will thank me forever. Number one, it's going to look something like this. I don't know if this is the best pyramid in the world, but there we go. The very first day that we had together, I talked about.
Where you need to put yourself in the ladder. And most men put themselves at the very bottom. Right after everyone eats, after everyone's taken care of, after everyone's happy, after everyone has their water, after everyone has their pee breaks, then the dad does something. After the bills are paid, after the dog is happy, after the grass is mowed, then you get some. Okay, change that perspective and become the most important person in your life. And so it works that way with money.
If this is everything you make the very, very, very, very, very time, every time you get paid, Derek. If you get a paycheck from your job, Alex, whatever it is, 10% is yours.
Because you got to treat yourself as the most important player in your game.
If you view bills as more important, if you view your business as more important than you, if you view other people as more important than you.
Guess what they're going to become more important.
And I promise you, you're the most important person in your life. And if you're not, you need to make that ship because this is about ownership, gentlemen. So 10 of everything you make is yours. It needs to go directly to you, to your account. Now, you can do whatever you want to with that money, and I'm gonna talk about that in just a moment, but put it into an account for you. Start practicing. The actual thing that you need to do is practice. When you get paid $5,000, $3,000 or $300, you take 10% of that and put it into your account.
Then.
Find a way to give some percentage as well.
This will change the paradigm huge. Because what you're doing when you start giving is your testing God a little bit. And I promise he's, he's a cool guy to test.
So if you start giving, there's a very, very popular phrase. You've probably all heard it. The more you give. What? How's it go?
The more you get, the more you receive. Yeah, exactly. So the thing is, most men and women, regardless of their age, they say, when I make.
Then I will.
So when I make a hundred thousand dollars, then I'll start giving $10,000. Well, you can do that. That's okay. But what happens is, if you find a way to start giving now, Even if it's $7, if you find a way to start giving, you're starting to put in that energy of abundance. Because giving will always push you into faith mode. Because a lot of you, some of you in this phone call, Michael Newsom. I don't have any extra money to give, dude. I am literally living paycheck to paycheck. I'm baroque. It's because you're not giving. Your brain's gonna go, if I give, I'm more broke. Newsome, you're not getting the math formula, dude. Well, that's because you're living in fear not faith.
Right? So find a percentage to give. There's no wrong number here. That's the thing. It can be 1% or 100% somewhere in that range. Give something. I normally say try to give. Try to go for 10%. Right? So you make some money, you make a thousand dollars, A hundred of it goes to you, 100 of it goes to God. Church, community donation. Nonprofit. Right. Ray's working on, working on a non profit right now called the Gathering, where he's going to help homeless men and women eat. So you can give to other individuals, other organizations. Right? Awesome. Okay. Now, after you do this, here goes the pyramid of.
Oh, you guys are gonna like this. Assets. And this is going to be the answer to Chuck's question.
Right? Assets are sexy because asses are sexy.
Assets are sexy. Now what is an asset? This is the thing that you're going to want to focus time, energy, effort and money on. This needs to be somewhere between 20 and 50% of your income, somewhere in that range. And again, this pyramid is in order of importance. You're shifting your brain. And Chuck, this is gonna be important for you too, right here. This part. You've got to buy assets. Don't say if, when, or if. Then the age is irrelevant. Age doesn't matter in this game because you can die with some assets or you can die with no assets, but the time is to buy them is now. Always. And I will give you a direct answer to Chuck's question, but it needs to be somewhere in this formula. 20 to 50% of everything you make should go directly into assets. And the thing is, you got to pick one. You got to pick one that you can focus time, energy, effort on that you understand the most.
When I say understand the most, you can recite it to an 8 year old. So I will list a few assets that I focused a lot of my time on that will make you very, very wealthy, I promise. Because ladies and gentlemen, wealth is a. Wealth is a second grade math formula. I'm not, I'm not telling someone that something. It's a repeatable math formula.
Okay, so number one, real estate, that's an asset. I know you all know this, but one person doesn't. I want to teach that one person.
Real estate is a tax free gain.
If you are married, Stephen and Stephen married way up, way up.
But hopefully we all did. If you're married, the house that you own in the United States of America, you have $500,000 of tax free gains in your primary residence.
You hear that one? $500,000 of tax free gains. The rule is you have to live in your primary residence for two years. After two years, if you were married, if you sell that property, any money that you make, up to half $1 million is tax free.
That is a huge deal.
Now how does that translate to you, gentlemen? Because it's very easy to buy a house.
Two years later, sell it, make a good amount of money, go buy another one.
Live in that for two years, sell it, go buy another one, and continue to keep rolling that tax free money into properties over and over and over. This is a huge wealth hack. Huge, huge. Huge. Huge, huge, Huge. Now, for a lot of you, you might go, I love my house. I'm in my dream house. I don't want to move. That's okay, good. But just know in the future, if you ever decide to move all the money and equity that you're putting in there, if you're married, half a million of that's tax free, which, if you don't want to move, it's a little bit harder to take advantage of that trick. Although you can take advantage of another trick I'm happy to teach you guys about later called home equity line of credits.
The next asset that you all. Go ahead, hint.
Yes. So you have to have. If you're married only for one year, it's not applying. Right. You have to be married for two years.
Now, the two years is how long you lived in the house. Yeah.
Let's say, you know, I know I own my apartment. It's not my. It's currently my primary residence. I would rent that apartment, buy a house, live there for two years, marry two years, sell that, then how we'll be selling that house. Then it applies. Right. Even though I own other assets?
No.
No, because the primary residence, as long as, as long as it's listed as a primary residence. That's the key. Yeah.
Okay. Because my, my. So my current apartment would be then an investment property which is rented, I moved to a house, buy that house, make it my primary residence, live there physically with my wife for two years and then I move on.
Correct.
Good.
Huge, huge, huge wealth. Amazing wealth. Hack. Now, again, while you're living there, are you fixing up a little bit? Putting in new cabinets, new flooring, new windows? Yes. Right. That's where, that's where you're 20 to 50% going, gentlemen. Right. You're fixing up the house a little bit. You're building it up.
Derek, you're not doing this. This is what, what I need you to do. You need to do this, gentlemen. This is how you become a millionaire. In less than 10 years, guaranteed guarantee. This is not a joke.
If you're not a millionaire and you want to be a billionaire, start buying houses, build up equity, sell it, capture tax free gains, roll it into your next properties. This is, this is a Wealth 101. And the amount of people that do not know this, it's a large number.
Okay?
It's a large number. I teach people this all the time.
All right.
Amazing. Another asset that's very easy. And this is the one that my boy Chuck was mentioning. I'm just Going to say stocks for all intents and purposes. Okay?
Now, what's. What's cool about stocks? Everything. That's what's cool about stocks. There's nothing not cool about stocks. It's easy, it's quick, it's efficient, it's simple, it's fast, it's liquid. It rewards people who like to study. It rewards people who like to take action. And I'm gonna give you a very, very easy path. You don't even have to study to do it this way. You just have to just listen to me and take my opinion on this. You can invest into something called the QQQ.
My boy Chuck just talked about tech, right? The QQQ is the technology.
ETF for the United States of America. It's the 100 biggest tech companies in the world. Average together, divided by a hundred. When you buy the cues, you are buying America's tech companies.
Stephen, is American tech companies ever going to go to zero?
No. Bet on America. You will win. If you don't think this is the greatest country in the world, move to Italy. Okay? Bet on America. We will win. Back to back World War Champions.
Okay? So when you're investing in the queues, that's what you're investing into. You're investing into the tech market of America. And this will never go to zero. If this goes to zero, you're welcome to come to my house and live with me for free for the rest of your life, okay? That's why I'm telling you it's not going to go zero. All of you are welcome in my house. Because the thing is, if that goes to zero, we're all fighting zombies. Every one of us are fighting zombies. And you're going to want some machine guns and you're going to want some baseball bats, and you're going to want to hang out with Derek and Raimi out in the middle of nowhere, Georgia. All right?
So you're going to want to invest in the queues. Now, the thing is, can you take 20 to 50% of your income, gentlemen, and just put it right into the queues every week, every month, or every quarter?
And the answer is yes. Yes, you can.
You can do it on automatic, repeat. You can do it constantly, easily, very, very simply, and just do it on your feet, please? Yep, absolutely. So you want to do it if you. If you can, you want to do it on a weekly, bi weekly, or monthly, just reoccurring basis, Do.
Do what? Weekly, biweekly. Sorry, that's what I missed.
Buy it. Yeah, yeah. Put Your US Dollars into this.
Now, all of you have read the money. Sorry. All of you have read the book Money Master of the Game by Tony Robbins. If you haven't, feel free to slot that down on your list of books to read. It's called Money Master of the Game. In that book, he states that 96% of mutual funds and hedge funds fail to beat the market.
96%. That's a. That's a relatively large number.
Which means if you want to buy the market. Kurt, this is the coolest part. If you want to be the 4% that's beating everyone else, all you have to do is buy that. That is the market. That's what 96% of professional money managers are not beating anyway. So why give it and hope that you're getting a 4%.
Right. Money manager, top 4%. Just buy that and beat it. Because even if you are with a money manager that's beating the overall market, you still have to pay that person.
Just do it yourself.
Any questions on that?
I have one.
Go.
So you say by the queues.
How would somebody go by the cues? I mean, like if somebody told me, buy a gallon of milk, I know I can go to the grocery store, go to the dairy section and look and see what I've got for choices, and get a gallon of milk. I know that. Cues. I'm not familiar with it, don't know nothing about it. So if somebody wanted to do that, how would they go about doing that?
Great. Thank you. Great question, brother. So you said that you would go to the market.
What market would you go to?
I mean, it's the stock market, but I mean, there's not like a physical location for that. I mean, so how would one do that?
Well, I will say this. There are physical locations, so you'll probably notice today or tomorrow, you'll notice this. Now, as you start driving, you'll see a lot of. You'll see a lot of buildings that say Edward Jones or Charles Schwab or Fidelity. Tom. You'll see a lot of those as you start to drive around. But have you ever heard of a company called Charles Schwab?
Yes.
Okay. Go to Charles schwab.com.
And open up an account.
And what you're going to do is when you open up an account, it's just like a bank account. They're going to ask for your Social Security, your address, all the things. And then when you go into Charles Schwab, all you have to do is type in these three letters right here. You can you type IT in, you click Buy.
That's one way. There's another way that's also really, really easy. There's a company called Robin Hood.
Another very, very easy to use company. It's very simple. I like Robin Hood a lot. You can, this is an app that you can download Paul on your phone. Just go to Robinhood, type it in your, your app, download Robin Hood, attach it to your bank account and start buying the QQQs. Every single day, week, bi, week, monthly is up to, you can choose it, but you have to type in that exact thing QQQ into either Charles Schwab or Robinhood and start to buy it.
Yeah, yeah. Raymond will share his Robinhood link. So if anybody wants to use Robinhood, if you don't, if you don't have a stock investing account long term, use what Raymond is going to post in our group chat. Okay?
You don't have to be great to start, but you got to start to be great. So this is the, this is the market where you would buy your, your gallon of milk, Paul, you just got to use what other people are already using. That's a great question and thanks for having the courage to ask it.
Hey, brother.
Yes, sir.
Real quick as well. So if someone is sitting on a 401k and they want to go ahead and diversify into QQQ, as for many of you, you may have a 401k that already has a distribution account or a investment account where you can allocate your, your funding. Now, they may or may not offer the QQQ within their portfolio because again, money managers, and where Jeremy was going with this, what Tony Robbins says in Money Master is because all of these fund managers talk to one another and they all look at the same indices to invest in. So if you were to look at most hedge funds or not most hedge funds, excuse me, most 401ks, you're going to see them all channeling the same.
And it's the craziest thing. It's like the Pied Piper syndrome. What I love about what Jeremy's saying right now is that you can actually.
Diversify your current investment portfolio.
To the qqq. But I know he's also going to talk about diversification as well.
I'm not.
Wait, yeah, here's why I don't talk about diversification a bunch. Because this is diversified, right?
Correct.
It's a giant tech exposure. And again, earlier, if you're 35 or less, you have a humongous time time horizon. If the stock market collapses 90% you're going to be just fine.
Yep.
Right. Because you got 40, 50, 60 years left to invest. So, Paul, you can do this right now because here's the thing. The Qs is diversified. One of my favorite, one of my favorite quotes is diversifications for people who don't like to study.
If, if we spend a couple of hours studying on something. Mark Cuban, who you all know Mark Cuban, has 60% of his net worth into one stock. Yep. What do you guys. And I'll tell you that one stock, you've all heard of it, every one of you, Amazon, 60 of his net worth is into not. Amen. It's an Amazon. So you all, you've all heard of Amazon, right?
Yeah.
Yeah. Is Amazon going to go to zero? No, no, not, not in our lifetime. It will at some point, but in our lifetime.
Thank you for picking up on that. That's what exactly where I was hoping you were going to go.
No, because it's interesting. The, the, you know, the thing is, is that when you look at the stock market, how many, how many of you have aspired to own a business?
Yeah.
How many of you own businesses? Here's the amazing part. If you own a stock, you own part of a business.
That's right.
That's literally you are a business owner, a fractional business owner. And to Jeremy's point, there's certain hedges that you can rely on. America is the greatest country in the world. As someone who's born in another country, I can tell you people from all over the world still still live in jealousy of the United States. The freedom, the opportunity, you know, and, and quite frankly, we're all blessed. We're all blessed. So thank you, brother, because again, you don't have to go far to find diversity. You don't have to go far. There's the age old saying of jack of all trades and master of none.
If you dabble, you're done. Get serious and deliberate about where you're spending your time, energy, and of course, your financial resources. So thank you for this, brother.
Yeah, of course, man. My pleasure. And again, gentlemen, it's never too late to do this. It doesn't matter how much money you got. If you're like, I got $15,000 in my name, dude, and I'm 69 years old. Cool. Start buying the cues because here's the thing, you'll always be that way.
Start buying assets because it tree, it trains your brain, gentlemen, to be like rich. To be like a rich person. You gotta train your brain to be like a rich person, start doing what rich people do.
All right, so those are two main assets. We're going to talk about some other assets later in the chat pane, Michael said, what's your take on cryptocurrency? I'll give you two words. Buy bitcoin. That's my take on. On bit. On cryptocurrency. Do it. You can do it the exact same way. It can be part of your assets. Make sure you study Bitcoin, Michael. Make sure you watch a. If you haven't watched this movie, you're doing yourself a disservice. It's called banking on bitcoin. It's free on Netflix. If you haven't watched that video, make sure to watch that video at some point. Gentlemen, Banking on bitcoin. I'm a bitcoin maximalist. I've been in since 2016. Buy it as I'm in. This is my opinion, of course, but it will go higher over time. So you want to buy assets that go up now again, you can buy $10 a day, $10 a week, whatever. All right. The last thing I'll do before we get into some of the deeper stuff. Yens wanted to ask a question about life insurance as an investment.
I can't answer that. I'm very, very well versed in life insurance. Let me give you two perspectives on life insurance.
Alex says, what was the name of the first stock we were talking about? Crisper.
Ticker symbol crsp.
Life insurance as investment. Just so I can openly make fun of you. Type in A3. If you do not have a life insurance policy of any kind.
Waiting for Derek to type in a three. All right, Paul's got one, Kurt's got one. All right. Second iPhone generation. I was waiting for you. All right, Paul says I cancel mine. That's okay. All right, now, so Paul and Derek and Kurt, if you don't have life insurance, it's okay.
That just tells you that you don't care about anyone else in your life. That's all it means.
That's all. Like you're the most important person and when you die, everyone else.
So that. That's all right, you know, cool. If you have kids, a wife, anyone else, you can show that you care about them, right, by having some life insurance. Because even if you die and you have life insurance, you can assign them the benefits if you die. Because here's the best part. And I know, Jens, I know you know this, and Craig, you know this. I think Chuck knows this. But in a hundred years, all of us are Dead. Every one of us. We're all toast. Everyone on this call, including you, Cole. Goodbye. Right. 100 years from now, adios. That's a big deal.
So there's a very, very popular type of insurance called term life insurance.
It's good, it's cheap, it's simple, it's effective, it works. If you die, other people can get some money.
I'm going to post a video in our chat pane that I would like all of you to watch. At some point, I did an interview.
With a lady named Kim Butler, which I think you'll understand. I think you'll like her a lot.
About something called whole life insurance.
Now there. There's an insurance policy. Put them up. Let me put this in the chat pan. Really quick things. Here we go. Use this.
All right, I'll put in our zoom channel too. So there is something called whole life insurance. Really quick breakdown.
It's amazing.
It doesn't run out. It doesn't stop, it doesn't turn off. You can borrow against it tax free.
And you can roll it over perpetually into your kids or grandkids accounts so that they can have your death benefit.
That they can borrow against tax free, penalty free. And eventually, when they want to pay the policy back, they pay it back to themselves. There's a policy out there called a whole life, whole life policy that you have the ability to get guaranteed dividends on every year.
And it's an amazing, amazing savings account. That's it. But it's a savings account for the very, very wealthy. I'm gonna blow your minds really quick, gentlemen. People that are worth More than $50 million, they never go to a bank.
Let me say that again. If you have $50 million of net worth, you don't go to banks anymore. You know why banks are only worth. They only insure your. Your deposit for a quarter million.
Imagine putting in $10 million into a bank account.
And it potentially could just evaporate overnight. And you only lose. You can only get a quarter million dollars back from the federal government.
So very, very, very wealth people, wealthy people. And if you want to be wealthy, do what wealthy people do, right? They take their money and they put it into. They do a cash loaded whole life insurance policy.
That gets perpetual dividends for their entire life.
That you can loan again the cash value of your policy, tax free, penalty free.
And when you pay the policy back, who are you paying back?
Yourself.
Which means if you have a big enough policy interest, you can take out the money to, oh, I don't know, buy A house.
And if you buy a house with your money and you're paying yourself back, that means that you're becoming.
Your own bank.
How cool is that?
And just in case you do die, just in case you do die. Oh, which. Which you're going to.
It's the best part, dude, is the world, we're all dead. Like, we're all dead in 100 years. The best part is when you die, you can transfer all that money to your kids or grandkids. They don't have to use it. They can keep loaning against your policy, tax free, penalty free. They never have to go to a bank to start a business, to buy a car, to go to college, and they're paying back your family's money. Derek, you don't know this, but you're one of my benefits if I die. And so I have a beneficiary of whole life policies because I want my family's name to be perpetually wealthy into the generations.
So that my family doesn't have to struggle.
Generational wealth starts with all of you gentlemen. You were chosen to do something special, to do something powerful, right?
Is that a crazy concept or what?
That's awesome.
So I will say this just because I know it. Alex on our call. He is licensed to sell whole life policies. So is my wife. You're welcome to talk to numerous people. I got just like real estate agents. They're everywhere, okay? Because it's a very lucrative business for them. It is, right? Alex will make money, my wife will make money if you buy a policy. But you should at least talk to them and understand how much it'll cost, because it's not. It's not cheap and it's not free. But it is a. It's another savings account.
That's all it is. It's just another savings account. I don't think you can ever have too many savings accounts. It's just another way to tap into access. And if you do have term life insurance, and if you cancel it or it expires.
Then you. Then it becomes a lot more expensive to get more. And if you get whole life insurance, it's always there. You never have to renew it. So you get it once, right? Now, when you're the cheap, you're the healthiest, best shape you're ever going to be.
And you keep that rate forever. So something to think about, right? Any questions on that? Before we hop into some other stuff, Kurt, hit me, my man.
Could you give me or us an estimate of at what level or cost that we're talking about. So then we know, you know, hey, hey, when you get to level two, then this is when you might want to engage in this type of a. An account, or is this something that you could do? Anyone could do it. You know what I mean?
Yeah, anyone could do this. Right now, it just depends on how much money you make. So that's what's crazy is. And this is a little bit. Yeah, yeah, it's a little weird. It's. You buy the. You buy a policy based on how much money you bring in in your life, because that. That's how you're going to rate it. So an insurance policy is going to ask you, how much money do you make a year? And if you say, I make $300,000, that means to your wife and kids, you're worth, like, $600,000, because they're going to mourn your death and be really sad, but two years later, they're going to forget about you because you're dead. So that means that the insurance is going to give you $600,000. And so you have to pay for a $600,000 death benefit, which is going to be probably $398 a month, something like that.
So it's not outrageous. It's not outrageous.
Right now, me and my wife, we pay Collectively probably about $1,300 a month in just life insurance.
That is correct. So what Raymond just said is all the money that you put into it, though, Kurt, remember, you can borrow against it eventually. Eventually. Not immediately, but eventually. So as you're putting money into it, it's just again, how much money you make. If you make $5,000 a month, which is a good amount of money, that means you should probably be putting somewhere between 500, $1,000 into some type of assets, into some type of savings, and you got to start restructuring that organization and that mind now. And you're going to have to reduce some expenses. Sure. In order to do that. But eventually what it'll do is it'll start pushing you to going, okay, well, I've reduced my expenses as much as I can. Now, how do I make more money? How do I. How do I optimize my income? Because the. The game is you can only reduce your expenses so little, but you can always make more money. I mean, I'm not going to brag, guys, but I picked up a nickel earlier today. It was a. I was like a beautiful nickel that was on the ground. I was like, amazing. Found this nickel, picked it up. If Bill Gates tripped over A gold coin. It's not worth his time.
Literally, for him to bend down and pick up a gold coin that's worth seventeen hundred dollars. He's wasting his time to bend down. One second. Bill Gates makes $47,000 a second.
That's how much money Bill Gates makes. It's not worth his time to pick up a gold coin. Let that sink in for a second. That's crazy.
So what I'm saying by that is, I'm saying you can increase your income exponentially. And by restructuring your life. And when you start to get squeezed and you're like, damn, newom, I don't have enough money to pay. Pay all these savings accounts and these assets that you're telling me about.
Exactly. Because then once you structure your life and you make it a priority, right? You pay yourself, you give, and then you buy assets. And then everything left over, you pay your bills. Once you do it that way, and you're like, I have no money to buy anything at the end of the month. I'm tapped out. Good. Go make more money. Your man. Figure it out.
Right, Derek?
Yep, that's right.
We can always make more. Gentlemen, there. There is a way. There is a way. You can let your excuses get in the way, and that's okay, but there's always a way to make more money.
Alex says, I also want to let you guys know that you can increase your life insurance. You can start with quarter of a million, and then as you go get, you can buy more. Yeah, that's a good point, Alex.
So.
Yeah, that's a very good point. The reason that me and my wife paid 1300amonth is because the very first insurance policy that I ever bought was for $100,000. Because that's how much I was making a year. Cost me 90 bucks a month.
But what did it do?
It made me pay that bill every month.
So it would. It.
It.
It forced me to make more money.
I agreed. I agreed to a contract. I'm still paying for that insurance policy.
Every single month. $90. That was one of them. So I bought another one. Then I bought another one.
Yep.
All right, Stephen. Love you, big guy. You're the man.
Okay, beautiful. So, gentlemen, what we're going to do now, together for about the next hour. We have one more hour or, sorry, 30 minutes. 30 minutes. Oh, go ahead.
Kurt.
Could you finish up your pyramid? Because we only went to the 70. We only went up to 70% of the allocation.
The rest is bills.
Bills.
That's it. You got it. You got to pay Those at some point.
So 70 was max, by the way, right? 70 is max. So you could do 10, 10% paid yourself, give 1% and then 20% worth of assets. That's 31%. And then you pay 70% of bills. Eventually you want to get that bills whittled down. The assets will grow, you start making more income. Because ultimately, yes, you want to make 70% of your money goes into assets, 30% goes into bills. You start getting to that structure, Kurt, your life will change so exponentially you won't even recognize in two years. Thank you. My pleasure, brother. You're welcome.
Edwin. This is very true. Edwin says you can insure your kids and they can cash out later in life. That is also very true. You can buy an insurance policy on your kids as well.
And you're just paying it for them. And so when your kids, Craig get 18, 21, 31, you want to give them this insurance policy. They have all this insurance benefits they can pull off of and then they pay themselves back. So they're their own banks too. So yeah, it is very viable. Good, good insight. Well, thanks for sharing that. That's absolutely right.
All right, so we've been together an hour. That was beautiful. So now what I want us to do is we're going to take 30 minutes to ourselves for just a moment and we're going to do a little bit of guided meditation work. We're going to go internal for a moment. Because again, in this overall course, my ultimate objective is yes, we talk about wealth, but wealth and abundance, it's a feeling, not a destination.
As wealthy as I am, has nothing to do with my bank account.
Well, a feeling like you when you, the way you all felt this morning when you woke up.
Right, Edwin? No hangover. Bright eyed and bushy tailed. That's wealth. You, when you're moving, you feel, you feel like you have vitality and you have zest and you have zeal and passion for life. That's wealth.
Go ahead.
Can I share a funny story? Because I missed the introduction so everybody's obviously on hangover. So last night my wife went to see a friend and at 11 I realized I had only two. I'm missing 2000 steps and you know that what, what does he ends do? Right? I put on my, my gym clothes and I went on a walk for three hours. So I, I did not two and a half. I did the 10000 steps for Saturday today already until 2am so just funny story. Usually you go out drinking or you're passed out already. So that's just a quick learning I want to share with you guys, which was really awesome. Just to bang out another 10, 000 steps. If you just put on the clothes and, and you get going, it doesn't matter how far you go. But I missed. I was missing for this group of brothers here, the 2000 and. And I'm sorry that I didn't do them before midnight. So my apologies.
Well, the beautiful part is the. The what I'm hearing you say is usually you're drunk, passed out on a Friday night, partying, doing whatever, and the shift is like you just chose a different path, Correct?
Yes.
Love it, love it, love it, love it.
Awesome, man.
Thank you so much for sharing. Okay, gentlemen, so we're going to practice some breathing and then we're going to go deep a little bit. So let's close our eyes for us.
All right?
With your eyes closed, I want you to take.
Two very, very deep breaths in through the nose. Fill up your lungs as much as you possibly can. Same thing that we're doing every afternoon. 2:30 and 4:30, approximately.
Taking in that deep, deep, deep diaphragmic breath, putting as much air.
Into your lungs as you can.
And breathe out again. As you breathe out, breathe out all the oxygen. Make sure your body is totally depleted. And I want you to feel as your body is totally depleted, keep yourself depleted for a few seconds so you can feel that need and that urge to breathe. Because in that moment, you can get so much life appreciation. In that moment where you're gasping for breath, you need to breathe. Go ahead and breathe in now.
And in those moments, time changes. What you felt like might have been a long time previously will change, because now a long time is only seconds.
Go ahead and breathe out for me again, emptying all of your body of oxygen. I want your lungs to be totally free of oxygen, depleted fully. So now you're just existing with no air, no oxygen inside of your body, and you feel this craving to breathe. Push past it a little bit farther, hold it and breathe in.
Very nice. Now keep this rhythm in your breathing. Just nice, slow, deep breath in and out through the nose. And gentlemen, my men, my brothers, I want you to envision a beautiful, green, soft.
Path of grass that appears before your feet.
Notice this green, soft path of grass.
And walk on it with your feet.
Very similar to what you've done when you did your bear crawls. Beautiful, soft, green, spongy grass filled with very kind, loving grass. Nothing hard, nothing sharp, nothing pointy, nothing dangerous. Just blissful. Grass and continue to walk down and imagine your bare feet touching this grass and just taking some steps in front of you.
And as you're taking these steps, I want you to notice a very small, ugly, broken, depleted gate.
Now, this gate can have a wall, it can have a fence. It's entirely up to you. But I want you to notice what this gate looks like. And I want you to picture like an old western movie gate where the doors are kind of falling apart. It looks dusty, it looks unloved and uncared for. It doesn't look strong, it doesn't look powerful.
And what I want you to do is I want you to physically, with your body, take your hands with your eyes closed and bring them up for just a moment. And imagine with your eyes closed, you've noticed your hands a million times in life. Bring them in front of your face for just a second and assign a color to your hands. Any color, every color is the correct answer. Black, green, turquoise, purple, yellow. All colors are beautiful colors. Imagine your hands are covered in this color, whatever color that is, it's the perfect color. Now what I want you to do is imagine that color slowly changing to white.
I want you to notice that whatever the color was begins to shift to white over both of your hands, traveling up your arms, up your shoulders, up your over your chest, up to your neck and head. Slowly, your whole entire body is covered in this beautiful, healing, luxurious white light of power and energy.
And as you're covered in this white light, I want you to now take your hands that you're still holding in front of you and place these hands on this gate.
And imagine in your mind's eye this gate becoming restored.
Powerful, magnificent. Transforming this old broken down gate into a humongous, big, incredible iron gate that can really protect and provide actual stability, certainty, power.
But also notice how delicately and lightly the doors can open. I want you to poach your hands that are now covered in this beautiful white light and push the door open. Imagining how effortlessly these huge, powerful doors, this massive medieval gate, just swings open so effortlessly. I want you to walk through this gate. You're still on this green grass.
And I want you to imagine as you walk into this gate, look to your left and look to your right and notice, my gentlemen, my friends, that you are inside of an amazing garden.
But there's one problem with this garden, my brother. It's been abandoned.
This garden has been abandoned for a very long time.
The water fountains are ugly.
The bushes are overrun, there's weeds everywhere. It looks like it's been forgotten for a hundred years. There's no water running, there's no birds, there's no animals. It's just a dead. What could be a stunning, amazing mid century garden.
And to your left, I want you to notice all of the flowers and bushes that could be beautiful are all dead. And I want you to walk off this path for just a moment and walk up to one tree in particular.
There's this huge tree, this massive tree.
Potentially very similar to the one that you climbed just a couple of days ago. Except this tree, my brother is dead.
It's rotten, it's falling apart.
I want you to walk up to this tree and kind of like in the movies, in the cartoons, remember how there's always a hole in the middle of a tree? I want you to notice there's a hole in this tree. I want you to walk up to that hole and stare in it for just a moment.
And I want you to imagine.
Take.
A deep breath in.
And I want you to assign.
A person's face starts to appear from this tree.
This is a person.
That you've known for a very long time, that you need to forgive.
This person has hurt you.
They have caused you pain, they've caused you anguish.
They have hurt your heart.
They have hurt your reputation.
They've angered you.
They'Ve made you curse their name and feel very awfully. The face that you're seeing can be your mother, your father, your ex.
It can also be you.
Whose face do you need to see? And see that person's face.
Stare into that person's eyes.
And feel the feeling.
That you've held on to that person for so long. Your anger, your resentment, your frustration towards them, all the things they've done, all the ways they've held you back.
And what I want you to do is I want you to look into that person's eyes and say.
I'm sorry.
I forgive you.
I am here to finally let you go, to let you be free.
I'm sorry. I've held on to our resentment and anger for so long.
I want you to soar.
I want you to imagine placing your hands on this tree. Remember, your hands are covered in this white, glowing, powerful, divine light of healing, of love. Place your hand on that tree and watch that person's face as they move their mouth and say.
I love you.
Thank you.
Thank you for releasing me from this prison.
And their face slowly fades away. And as you take a step back from the tree, after you've placed your hands on the tree, you're Noticing something magnificent. That tree has now slowly begin to restore. The branches now are beginning to show life.
The leaves are beginning to grow forth. The hole in that tree is starting to close.
And as you take a step back and you start to look around, you'll notice the garden.
Is now slowly coming back to life. Just like in the Disney movies that you watched as a kid. The whole garden is starting to shine and change, and you're seeing it transform in front of your eyes into what it used to be, a magnificent and incredible garden. This, my brother, is the garden of your heart.
This is the place of true transformation, of true healing, of true change.
I want you to get back on that path, that beautiful, green, soft path.
I want you to say thank you.
And I want you to turn around and walk back through the gate, closing the beautiful, humongous doors behind you to the gate, knowing that we will be back to this garden in the future.
Knowing that we will return here again.
It will be easy, it will be kind, it will be gentle. I want you to slowly walk back up this path.
And take two deep breaths in and slowly open your eyes.
Right.
Great work, gentlemen.
Now, for some of you, that can be a very powerful moment.
For some of you, it can be just a normal experience. But we do have time for some quick shares.
If you felt emotional, if you cried.
If you felt a release.
Good.
One of my favorite quotes.
Unforgiveness is voluntary emotional incarceration.
The fastest way to heal and fix whatever you feel is a problem in your life is to create forgiveness for that person who hurt you.
That person, for me, was my mother for many, many years. I saw her face in this tree.
And I had to do this exercise hundreds of times.
So I could slowly forgive my mother and then my father and then some of my family members. And I've done this exact exercise hundreds of times so that I can become a man of calmness and a man of a healed heart.
Because if your heart's not healed, doesn't matter how much money you make, you're always gonna be broken. But when your heart becomes healed.
The money will become a lot easier, but so will your life.
So whoever would like to share, go first.
Jeremy, that was beautiful. And I will remind all of us that forgiveness is freedom. It's ultimate freedom. It is removing the shackles of judgment, criticism, comparison.
And for me, in my life, I can tell you this is a beautiful exercise and something that I actually have frequently done.
For a myriad of different reasons. In this particular exercise, I saw my own face because there are times when, at least for myself, I have not felt I was living my true purpose. There have been times when I've been my own worst critic and not the champion of change.
And in these moments of being able to find that forgiveness and freedom of self, it's beautiful to feel the release of energy.
The confidence level, the self.
Respect.
And the clear understanding that none of us is broken.
As a man, we get to take on ownership of owning our true selves and being authentic and living presently in the moment. So I thank you, my brother, for that beautiful experience. It was a great reminder.
Yes, sir, absolutely.
Who else?
I can relate with the family. I haven't spoken to my mother in over 20 years. And maybe last year, year and a half, I've slowly kind of opened that door up again. But I, I do have a lot of heartache, I guess. Resentment.
My, my father, he's pretty much non existent. I mean, I know who he is and through the years I've interacted with him, but he's never really wanted to have anything unless he needed help himself financially or something.
But.
Yeah, I haven't talked to him in years. But I mean, what can you do? I mean that's. Relationships are two sides.
They are.
But yeah, I get the family.
Yeah, yeah, they are. And what's beautiful, I know you have a call scheduled with Chuck and he'll walk you through some of these pieces and you're absolutely right, man. And what's amazing is as we make that realization and we know it's a two way street, I have a lot of people that will talk to me and go, dude, I never met my dad, or my dad's dead and I hated my dad, or he never gave me love, or he was an alcoholic or he was abusive or whatever, it's like, okay, but you can still work on forgiving the image and the thoughts that you have of your dad. And when you do that, gentlemen, you just become happier.
That's ultimately it. You just become happier. And when you start working on the inner healing of your heart, you start healing your lineage, the generations that will come before you and after you. And I had to do this work for six years before my mom ever spoke to me.
And eventually something shifted in the universe because I was willing to put in that much time and energy.
And whatever that shift was, it was definitely a unique instance and a very fascinating miracle in my opinion.
So if we're willing to do that work and all of you have agreed to put in this kind of energy into yourselves for the next several Weeks and months. I promise there'll be a shift.
I promise. Derek, how was it for you?
Oh, you're muted. Let me unmute you real quick.
Can you hear me?
Awesome. Yeah, it was. It was emotional, so. It was kind of strange, though, because I. Like you said, I saw my dad's face, and he's. He's dead.
But he was an alcoholic. And I. I feel. I've been trying for years to, you know, open up to that forgiveness, you know, from him not spending time with us or whatever. But. Crazy thing is, is the face started to fade in the tree. I also see my own face, so it's kind of two faces, but I. I feel like that's comes from. I am a lot. I mean, you know how genetics are. A lot like my dad. Even though I didn't want to be like him. So I fight that fight because it was one of my biggest fears was winding up a lonely drunk like my dad and pushing people away from me because I'd rather drink. I don't want to be like that. And. Which I actually don't drink very much. I mean, I drank on my honeymoon, but other than that, I fight really hard not to be like that. So it was super emotional for me.
But it was.
It was peaceful.
Beautiful, man. Thank you for sharing. I mean, knowing as much as I do, but let's pretend I didn't.
The. The universe never hears negative words.
And so when people say, I do not.
Want to be like my dad, the universe hears, I want to be like my dad.
Okay?
The more we push it away, the more we go, I don't. I don't. Universe doesn't hear that. Want to be like my dad. The universe never hears negative words because universe is a positive vibration. And the beautiful part about that is the more you do that, the more you'll start becoming like your father. And if you resent anything with your dad and you become more like your dad, guess what happens? You start resenting yourself.
Because.
Gentlemen, whether you like it or not, you are 50 of your father and 50 of your mother. That's how genes work. And if. And I worked through this, Derek, for a decade, if there's some parts of your dad that you don't like until you fully, fully, fully, fully accept him, you'll never fully, fully, fully accept yourself. Even if your dad was a deadbeat piece of. You gotta thank him for what he did, right? Even if the only thing he did right was exist and bring you into this life, you have to thank him for that. If you. If we blame our parents for what they did wrong. We have to blame them for what they did correct. Your dad provided for you. He worked hard. He gave you a life. He made sure that you ate sometimes.
Yeah.
He gave you a good work ethic. He showed you what not to do.
And so we can thank him for that. We can allow people to go, thank you for giving me this gift. Thank you for showing me a very unique way to live. I appreciate that. And the more we start loving our dad and the more we start shifting because our dad is our. Our example of masculine. And as we start loving on that and we start accepting ourselves fully for the parts that we are like our dad, because we can't run away with it. I mean.
When we. When we really step into it.
We start healing some deep emotional scars. And a lot of those emotional scars are the reason, gentlemen, that we do any of the things that we're doing that are negative. AKA drink, pot, weed, shrooms, drugs, methamphetamines, acid, whatever. You're trying to escape from some kind of feeling somewhere.
So thank you, Jeremy.
That's so beautiful.
And. And.
Your gift is your pain.
Everything that you've ever gone through as a man has been a lesson. It's been a learning, it's been a distinction. And God love you, Jeremy. It really is so true. The minute we judge someone, including ourselves.
Understand this one very simple fact, you literally lose the ability to tap into the gifts, the blessings, the lessons and the learnings of that moment because you are standing in judgment.
And you're ignoring the now, in the moment, in the presence.
To my brother's point, if you're going to blame, blame effectively. If you're going to blame for everything that's been rotten in your world, you have to blame the exact same thing for everything. That's the beautiful blessing that makes this life so gracious and engaging. Right now.
Look at where we're at.
Men commuting together to have an amazing conversation about connecting with self and honoring the masculine. That doesn't mean your right eye, your left ear, your left pinky toe. That means all of you. You don't say, my right hand is bad, my left hand is good. No, you say I am great. You own the sanctity of who you are and understand that you're not broken at this moment. And we get to decide where we're going to place that energy and intention. Yeah, but Chuck, I've been wrong.
No, you've been given the blessings of learnings.
If you were pampered your entire Life. Where would you be today? Would you be the person who is sitting here right now?
I don't believe so. So thank you for owning the lessons. Thank you for owning the challenges. Thank you for sharing the legacy and continuing to grow in yourself so you can open up and give back and give forward. Because yesterday is history, tomorrow's a mystery. Live in this moment now called the present. That is the gift. This moment right now.
Amen.
Amen. So, gentlemen, here's what I would love to do. For those who are here, when you have the time this week, either today or tomorrow. I know we're have one more person to go. I'm gonna have Yens go because I've never seen the ends cry.
But the one thing I want you to do this week, end before Monday.
Very, very fun exercise. I want you to spend 20 minutes on our list. It doesn't require that much time, but it will give you the best gift you've ever gotten. I'll put a song in our WhatsApp group. Some music. In that 20 minute music session, I want you to do only two things. Write into the piece of paper that person, as you saw on the tree, all the shitty things they've done to you.
Blame them for it, please.
Right. All the time that Chuck has let Chuck down because he said he saw his face. Write all the things that Chuck did incorrectly to himself, all the opportunities he missed on. What an idiot. Blame yourself for it. Good. Thank you. I can't believe you missed out on this money. You dumb, dumb. I can't. Right, right down all those mean, stupid, forgetful, all the things they did. Blame them effectively, please. But really get into the negative for 5 to 10 minutes. Hate on them for a second. Really, you stupid. SOB all the bad words thus like crazy.
And then write down everything you would not have in this life if that person was never in your life.
Write down everything.
And if it's yourself.
And you have kids.
Your kids wouldn't be here.
Right? Your wife wouldn't be who she is.
If you saw your dad or your mother, really, really think about all of the things that you would not have in this life had that person never given you the gift of pain.
Then burn the negative paper.
And I would love for all of you to share any moments, experiences, tear fest, all the things in the WhatsApp group between now and Monday, if you're clear on that. Homework ends. Tell me how the experience was for you.
Yeah. First. Thanks, Jeremy. A wonderful meditation. So. Or I was confused when I walked through that gate. It was Actually beautiful. There was like. I was envisioning already a nice posture, you know, like.
Flowers and green grass. And then you pointed out there's something actually dying. And then also when you point out I saw that tree. And. And that was first my. I saw my wife because I felt like I need to apologize to her for a couple of things. But then it was really my. Myself I'm blaming for a lot and hurt. Too much pain and hurt over the years, you know, so. Because you're hard on yourself or man. This and that. And I shared with you yesterday on 101. Remember what I said about the gift? Nobody. So just value yourself.
Very powerful, beautiful man.
And I have a lot to write down.
Yeah, for sure. And we all do. Because here's the thing, gentlemen. A lot of us, we are our own worst critics. Right? Just think about this for a moment. I know some of you know me very well, and some of you might not, but Craig, for a second. Would you ever talk to me the way you talk to yourself, Craig. Or the way you talk to your wife?
Gentlemen, you're way too hard on yourselves. You would never talk to a friend the way you talk to yourself.
Right? Every time you make that mistake, every time you don't make that money, every time you make. You do something wrong, every time you're lazy, every. Whatever. And you beat yourself up over it so critically. Right?
That's not what a king does.
We step into positivity. We hold ourselves accountable. We love on ourselves, and we go do better next time. It's okay.
Work a little bit more diligently. Think a little bit smarter. Take a little bit more action. Go bear crawl five miles and you won't do it again.
Yeah.
That'S. That's a good one. That's a good long Saturday, right? Yeah, it's a good.
What a great time.
What a great time. It is. It's not. Wear. Wear gloves. That's. I'll tell you that.
Wear gloves if you're gonna bear crawl a couple miles. So keep in mind that's the way my brain works. That's the way that I encourage you all to think about these growth elements. So do this piece of homework, please. This weekend, I promise I'll give you a ginormous shift. And again, this is not a place of bragging or impositioning. This is a place of me showing you how much work I had to do to even get almost where I want to be. I've done the exercise that you're about to do this weekend over a Hundred times, and I've had to write the same person a few times.
But then I had to start running out of people, and I'm like, I don't have anyone else to blame. My mentor was like, you don't have one person? And I had to start finding people from 8th grade that did me wrong, right? Freaking Derek. Guy's name was Derek. Not my nephew, but there's another guy named Derek. He always made fun of me, right? Always made fun of me. I had to start going back to those people. And then the most powerful. And some of you aren't here yet, and it's okay. But with the most powerful one I ever had to do is I had to forgive God.
And.
It'S hard. You're like, how? Oh, yeah, you had a beef with big dude upstairs. You know, I still do. I'm still working on that. And so, Paul, I appreciate that, man. Thank you. Thank you for sharing your venom. It's powerful, dude, because you're gonna do this one step, and that's okay. And you can do this as many times as you want.
Keep this from. And keep this in mind. Keep this very close.
Everything that you are, you are attracting.
So if you have friends that are shitty, if you have relationships that are shitty, if you have people in your life that are like, why is this person so negative and hateful?
It's because you're negative and hateful. That's right. If you have a friend. If you have a friend who's always showing up late or they're always broke, it's because either parts of you admire that type of life or you are that particular type of person. Everyone in your life is going to be a reflection of who you are.
So your king, your kings, you get what you're willing to tolerate.
You get what you're willing to tolerate. So, Paul, I love you. Thank you for sharing that, man. This will be a good journey for you. The more you do this experience, you can do the exact same meditation. You can forcefully see other people's face in that tree. You will not forgive them. You'll not forgive them. You do this for 12 hours. You stare in that tree for 12 hours.
You write these messages for weeks at a time.
Stuff will shift, and you'll get angry at yourself, and you'll start to release. So, family, I'm going to post the video that I want you to listen to or the music I want you to listen to while you're doing this exercise. Edwin. Okay? It's only 20 minutes. Take. Take time to yourself. Don't have your kids or wife running around. This is you time. And this is the very, very first step into our depth as we continue, have many more meditations. We're going to keep going into that garden. We're going to go deeper, and we're going to keep working on our hearts and our souls and our spirits. You all okay with that?
Yeah.
All right, Gentlemen, I love you so much.
Yeah.
Yeah. Thank you so much.
